About: Jaysen was born the oldest of 5 boys in a normal family in america. Growing up he was happy and peaceful. They did not have many things or expensive things, but he always had what he needed and what was important at the time. Most of the time his mother, who was raising him alone at this point, made sure he and his brothers had gotten all that they wanted as well. This of course made him admire and praise his mother. She worked hard and did what was needed to make sure all her children were taken care of. As a child Jaysen saw this and knew what someone who truly cared did for their family. This instilled a deep need to take care of those he called family. As a child he was always the strongest. Despite this he was also the most generous and gentle. For his softer acting he was bullied and beaten by other children rather regularly. His schoolmates and others saw this and wondered how it was possible. Jaysen would never raise a hand or even acknowledge the people whom laid hands upon him or tried to break him down. No matter how many times he was hit, bruised, called names or completely shamed in public, he never lost a smile on his face and need to help others.In middle school he was still being bullied, but his smile never faded. Many asked him why he would let them do that to him. It was clear with his strength he would be able to finish a fight with them quickly. Every time he was asked this he simply looked at the one asking and smile, speaking in a sweet and calming tone "They clearly have a reason for needing to vent by hurting me. I am glad to let them get out their frustrations on me and not someone else who cannot handle it." Anyone who knew him, loved him for being able to not only handle the abuse,

Blood everywhere. Something in him simply snapped. He finally got his brother to tell him who it was. Turns out it was a boy from the High School. A freshman who was known for starting trouble. As soon as he knew that he left. He made his way to the local park where he knew most of the highschoolers went to hang out after school. Many people tried to greet him, but stopped when, for the first time ever they saw anger in his face and hate in his eyes. He roamed through the crowds, now followed by all the people who knew he was not his normal self. Finally he found the boy sitting on a far off bench with his 'crew' smoking something. He was not detoured. He walked up in a fast pace, fists balled and anger swelled. As soon as he reached them he reached back and planted a powerful punch on the boys jaw. His strength knocked the boy back immediately. The others attempted to stop and restrain him so their friend could get to his feet. Jaysen was having none of it. He threw one holding his arm back and picked up the other, slamming him into the bench, breaking it. The crowd gasped as they had never seen this side of Jaysen. Before anyone else could stop him he straddled the boy whom laid his hands on his family and began to mercilessly drive his fist into the boys face, over and over. No one who saw his rage attempted to stop him. After a few minutes he stopped, breathless. The boys face was bloody, swollen and bruised. He leaned down to the boy and looked at his eyes. The boy had somehow managed to stay awake despite the beating. Jaysen spoke in a vicious and unnaturally evil voice "Never lay a hand on my family again." He then stood and walked back to his house. Cops never came, everyone to afraid or respected him to much to call the cops.

Jaysen lived his life normally after that. Everyone still loved him, but no one dared lay a hand on him. Not only that, but people who were known for spreading problems made it a point to avoid him and be nice to his brothers and those he called family. He graduated high school and got a wonderful job right out to help his now sick and struggling mother to survive. Despite all that was on his plate he found time to pursue his own hobbies. He had recently developed an interest in Online Games. This, not long before the news about the launch of Sword Art Online was released.

Jaysen waited in line for two days, luckily by then he had worked up about a week of vacation time. He got one of the first copies of the game and was one of the first hundred people to log on to the newly launched SAO server. He knew that once an MMO was started there was a limited number of EXP and Wealth to go around. So he tried to quickly tried to armor himself and get a weapon to head out. Then it happened. The game became real. He was stuck here and fighting for his life to make it back to get to his family. Once the Game Master left he quickly made his way out to get as strong as he could to beat the game and get home to his family. While he got strong he cared little about others and quickly witnessed more than a few deaths. He plans on getting as strong as he can and then heading to the front lines to help get himself back to his family.

Virtues:

Family Oriented-When it comes to family he will do anything and beat anyone for them. His world revolves around and centers with his family. If his family is on the line in anyway he will do whatever it takes to make sure he is able to care for them and defeat whatever hurdle or person in his way. All that matters to him is the safety of those he calls family.

Loyal-When someone gains his trust and friendship, there is nothing he would not do for them. Seconded only to family, his friends are one of the most important things to him. He refuses to let a friend go through something alone when there is a possible way he can help. This of course means that he has few friends, because there is very few people worth his trust that he knows.

Patience-Jaysen feels that in most things patience is the answer to whatever is in your way. He will take time, sometimes days to figure out the best way to approach something. This give him a distinct advantage when it comes to pvp battle because before he challenges them he will study an opponents attack styles, weaknesses and weapons before even trying to challenge them.

Flaws:

Innocent-When someone has gained his trust or earned the title of family to him they have a distinct advantage over him. In his mind, someone whom he calls family is incapable of ever hurting him, so they could easily trick him into doing their dirty work. He is wired not to judge the motives of those close to him, so those close to him are especially capable of hurting him.

Emotional-Jaysen is what many would call an 'emotional basket-case'. He finds himself so deeply connected with things that do not concern him in any way that when they turn out wrong he will openly cry and become distraught about the situation, despite it having no impact on him once so ever. This is especially true when it comes to matters of love or friendship.

Hopeless Romantic-Jaysen has always had a fascination with love and all things romance. He will find himself imagining his life of love and happiness with most girls he has known. He has a dream of starting a family with his whirlwind romance that was never supposed to happen. Because of this he falls in love easy and is also especially vulnerable to the ones he has 'fallen' for.
