Hidden 1 Posted May 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2017 (edited) Hidden would awake in her house on the eleventh floor. She sat up in the bed and looked to her right to glance at the still slumbering Sey. He often slept much longer than her. She slipped out of the bed and would head out of the room and into the kitchen. Everything in the house had its own place and was neatly set up. She moved into the living room and out to the porch which was entirely white, and quite well made. Their house was elegant, but she still needed to play catch up with the better players of the game. She moved through the yard, following the river that moved past their house. As she finally reached Taft she then teleported to the next floor on her list. Floor three. It had two quests that she needed to get finished. The Hoya quest, and the Worn out Welcome. Both of them provided some SP and that was what she needed most. It was the essence of her leveling and getting stronger. Damage was of her top priority, then her mitigation and Evasion. She needed to finish her dagger first though. She was a good two ranks and two mods away from doing so. She moved through the floor and too the quest NPC. Edited May 21, 2017 by Hidden
Hidden 1 Posted May 15, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted May 15, 2017 (edited) She would find the NPc at the edge of the town and she would walk up. The NPC spoke, telling her of a temple with a beautiful pendant inside. Such pendant was to be guarded by two twin minotaurs on either side. She rolled her eyes at the mention of minotaurs. She had once slain an event boss minotaur. That had not been a fun day. One of the idiots working with her had died, all due to the fact they were such low leveled. She accepted the quest and moved out into the plains of the floor. She found a spider mod at the edge of the clearing, standing right in front of the forest. IT appeared to be minding its own business and such, but she was more after the loot it could drop. She darted forward, moving precisely and quickly, thrusting her dagger into its joints. The spider screeched and tried to strike back, but it was far too slow to even think of hitting her. Spoiler 84470 BD:5+3 MD:3-3 DMG:42 (7*6) Hidden: 400/400 <> 35/40 G. Hidden 1 Posted May 17, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted May 17, 2017 (edited) She would smirk as she faced the spider who appeared to be regaining its wits and turning to battle mode. She flipped her dagger in her hand and charged forward with her dagger, darting quickly from side to side. Her dagger began to glow a bright orange, defying the creature. She thrust her dagger into its body, and then slash another side form side to side. Her dagger appeared to cut through the creature's shadow and then overlap it. Her weapon didn't activate any special effects, but the damage was fine enough to keep going in. The spider hissed and attacked with its barbed legs, striking at her. She tried to dodge, but the process went slow and the creature sent her tumbling onto the ground. The cloaked girl stood quickly, wanting to regain her hold on the battle. The damage was little, but made her wary of being hit like that again. She had no intentions in dying to anything on this floor. Quote 84573 BD:7 MD:10 Hidden: 340/400 <> 30/40 BD:7+3=10. Hidden 1 Posted May 17, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted May 17, 2017 (edited) Hidden stood in a crouched position, studying her prey for its next move. She found that its legs were bent and itself was lleaned backwards. Like a lion, prepared to pounce on its prey. Just as she thought, the creature leapt at her with all its might. The girl ducked under the spider's body, thrusting her dagger cleanly into the spiders body before rolling out from underneath just as the creature would land. Its health dropped farther, bringing it into the yellow zone. She was now over halfway done with her work on this spider. The spider still had no status effects, meaning that her dagger had not activated itself. If her dagger would activate its abilties, then this would be going much quicker. The spider would have a lot less health then it did currently. The spider recovered, turning and hissing at the cloaked figure. She just stood there smugly. Hidden 1 Posted May 17, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted May 17, 2017 (edited) She would stand there, watching the spider with intent eyes. It was becoming more wild, more crazed. It wanted to live. She moved forward, masterfully attacking the spider with her dagger. She ducked under a blow and thrust her blade into the leg joint. From there she kicked off the ground, vaulting herself up. She twirled within the air, feeling as free as a bird. From there she landed at the side of the spider, sling down its body and she landed. Then she spu , using her momentum to deal extra damage. The spider shrieked and spit, trying to get away from the assassin. She backed away and watched the spider fall to the ground, paralyzed and bleeding. Her dagger had infected the creature, and now her work as finished. She sheathed her dagger, knowing the bleed would finish the job for her. No need to waste more energy on something that she could just leave to die anyway. "I hope you know you failed. A bit pathetic even" She told her enemy. Hidden 1 Posted May 17, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted May 17, 2017 (edited) Hidden would hear another rustle, and another spider would fall from the trees. The cloaked girl would look up nervously at her energy bar and see that it just had reached halfway. She pouted but then turned onto the spider, leaving the other one to die in misery. The spider charged, but she dodged quicker, leaving the spider off balance. She turned, her dagger gleaming a devilish orange. Her dagger appeared to become more violent as a creature neared death, wishing them to suffer in the most painful ways. She slashed forward, making two well placed slashes on the second spider, before trusting her dagger into its main body. The spider let out a shriek and backed away, but also fell to the ground, unable to move. She loved her dagger. She snicker as she heard a shatter of the first spider, dying off and leaving its friend to die. Quote Attack Roll: 84576 BD:9 MD:8 Loot roll for Spider 1 : 84577 LD:7+1, CD:2. HP*2 Col. The spider hissed, but was unable to do anything due to its state of paraylysis. She stepped forward toward the creature and would find it uncappable of much movement. She raised her dagger, but a rustle her elsewhere caught her attention and she drove the dagger into the ground beside the creature. Its health still lowered a bit due to her bleed effect, but that was a large amount of damage that was just wasted. Hopefully it did not effect her battle too much. Her energy was quite important and if she missed, she would lose far too much of it to go on. That was why she had to finish these guys quickly. Hidden 1 Posted May 20, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted May 20, 2017 (edited) The spider stood there, hissing at her. She knew she had to deal some solid damage this time. Her energy was starting to run lower and lower, and without another critical, she would most definitely be pushing it. She darted forward, thrusting her weapon forward at the spider. It moved to the side and tried to strike her back with one of its barbed legs. She dodged and ducked her way out of the blows and launched herself backward away from her attacker. She was starting to really run out of energy, and without the bleed effect, the spider no longer had a constant stream of damage on it. She looked at her opponent and knew that she had to start hitting now. If she missed again, there was a chance that she wouldn't be able to finish this battle. She took in a breath before darting forward. She slashed with her dagger at multiple angles, but the spider seemed to know when she was about to strike and move accordingly. She made one final attack attempt, but was stopped when one of the spider's legs jabbed forward into her chest. It was as if she was getting hit my a hard pole. She fell back, rolling onto the ground. She grimaced from the brief but intense pain of the blow. Her head was a bit dizzy from that one, and her breathing was unstable. The spider made a cackling sound of delight as it began to inch back towards its prey, wishing for more of her blood to be spilt. Red shards floated in the air from their battle. She was running out of energy, her luck was running out, and she still had more than half of this spider's health bar to knock down. It bounded toward her, getting closer and closer. She had to stop its advance now. She retrieved her weapon which had skidded only a few feet away. The spider got into range and she burst froward, lacing over the top of the creature. She slashed open the top of it, and now red shards began to pour out of the new wound. It shrieked and fell back to the ground as her paralysis came back into effect. Her luck appeared to have come back and she was ready for the battle. A good amount of damage was coming from her bleed effect, and its health dwindled below half. Hidden stood walking forward to her opponent. It was almost deja vu as this just happened in reverse. The problem was, was that the spider was paralyzed and did not have any tricks up its sleeve. She could attack and attack, but it could not do anything. She raised her dagger, its orange light brightening her face to reveal what lay underneath the hood. Her expression was blank and her eyes remorseless. This creature would obtain no mercy from her, just like everything thing else that this world had in it. She raised her dagger high into the air, the sun glinted off the dark dagger. "Mercy is for the weak. You would be suitable, but not even the weak escape my grasp" She thrust her weapon down into the spider, watching its health sink to nothing. It shattered, leaving pixels to litter the air. She sheathed her dagger and sighed. She could move on now. She would begin to search for the pendant, guarded by the two minotaurs. Each of those should be a relatively easy task. She was growing near to the end of her journey, and she had gained a bit of col and experience from such endeavors. She was getting close to taking on the big quests. Gemini and Arabain Nights. She heard Arabian Nights had more story to go along with it. That was exciting. She had read a bit about it, and she needed a rank in her sneak and hide skill by then. That was fine with her. Her battle experience was getting much wider, and soon she would be soloing quest bosses with ease. The harder ones, that was. She sighed as she began to move into the trees, wading through the sticks and branches that crossed her path. She would have to find the little section of the forest in which the treasure was to be found. She was in no shape for battle at this point in time, but she was sure that she could manage to get past anything that might be coming her way. She would no stick to hunting materials, and avoiding fights. Her eyes scanned the area for any missed materials left by the original players that had scoured the area. Hidden 1 Posted May 30, 2017 Author #14 Share Posted May 30, 2017 Hidden walked through the forest, hunting for the quest location and materials. Due to her scouting abilities, she figured that she would find them easier. She would admit, Rank one was not going to assist her as much as she wanted it to. Search and Detect would be one of the last things on her list for completion. She had many other skills on her mind, especially ones that improved her damage capabilities. She was getting close to where she needed to be with the dagger, but she would be getting Sneak and Hide afterwards. It was required within the Arabian Nights quest. She really wanted to do that story quest, but she would have to ensure she got Gemini done first. The skills quests were quite important as they contributed to getting her stronger, not just getting her Skill Points. Now, the skill points were very important as well, but she needed those extra passive skills. Meditation and Gemini were quite important in the land of needed skills. She would max out her dagger and get precision and t]hen max out Light armor, at Rank 3 getting the athletics mod. Then get Sprint mod, then get Meditation and then Sneak and Search. She would have her tree done by then. Then she could move into other important items. 2/3 EN Regen posts.
Hidden 1 Posted June 8, 2017 Author #15 Share Posted June 8, 2017 She walked forward through the thick wood and knew that she had become to come close to her destination. She kept her weapon in her hand for comfort, but knew that she could take on just about anything on this floor safely. Her skills allowed her to do as such. She kept moving forward though, hoping to bring this expedition to an end soon. Gerstein here had actually been a bit boring and she knew her goal ahead of her was guarded by even weaker knobs. This meant that this entire strip would be of no challenge to her. She listened carefully for moves, her careful steps not interfering. Her foot always fell with no noise. That is why she was always good at hiding. She had managed to stay out of Hikoru's sight once. That surprised her even. Just a little bit though. Hikoru was a rather jice man, but also a little bit of a challenge he was her, but better with a unique skill. This wanted to make her stronger than he had prove to him that she could best him without a fancy skill. That would be a fine day. She would have a unique skill of her own one day, but that day was probably far off from now. That would at least give her enough time to play catch up with him in the very least she hoped. There was others standing in the way though that she had to surpass first.
Hidden 1 Posted June 8, 2017 Author #16 Share Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) She pushed her way through the brush and thicket, keeping an constant eye in her surroundings. Then finally she had found it. She had pushed into what appeared to be a trail. Examining direction, she found which path would lead to the starting point, and the other into the center where the ruined temple would lye. She sheathed her dagger, knowing her targets were near but unsuspecting. She advertisers through the trail, keeping herself sure footed the entire way. Her adventure was almost compete, and then she would be able to continue on with other business and tidings. If this journey got her enough skill points, she could begin to focus on Gemini. If not, then she would have to complete another boringly easy quest. Her entire point of taking this quest, was due to the fact that she needed the experience. Right now, this quest was a large factor in that. So she would waste her time, striking through the trees to find herself a pendant. Perhaps she could give it to Sey. She heard grunts nearby, and slowed down her speed, moving into a crouch as she began to hide. Her hiding skill needed to be invested into before anything else other than her dagger at this point. It was the perfect mixture of rotting flesh and wet animal. She looked around the corner and found a ruined shrine, it was a reduced to rubble, salads of stone here and there. In front of her about twenty feet away was the first minotaur, and another passage was seen quite far away with another minotaur. In between the two was the shrine where at the peak of its rubble was a gleaming object. That was her target. She grinned and darted forward, keeping in her hiding skill until she got closer. As she got close enough, she attacked, moving in with an uppercut. She did not have the sneak attack mod, so the minotaur saw her just at the last second. By then, it was already far too late. She slashed up its chest and began her barrage there, striking it menacingly. Within seconds, he target was vanquished. Smiling with pride with her work, she crouched down again, allowing the shadows to surround her. Shroud her. She heard heavy grunts and seen the second minotaur coming to observe what had happened. From here, it appeared she could just dive in grab the pendant. She would rather see the second minotaur die before then. Hidden 1 Posted June 8, 2017 Author #18 Share Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) She began to creep forward and the second minotaur was looking around, it's hand gripping around its heavy looking axe. The ace looked heavy, but also quite dull. Which meant it was a blunt weapon, more capable of stun then killing. She crept in front of the beast and then stood tall, revealing herself. It snorted in fury and began to charge with full speed. She grinned and flicked her dagger forward, sending it flying at her opponent, precisely for its chest. The dagger sailed forward striking into the minotaur's chest. From there, she darted forward. Her ultimate speed over the situation allowed herself to make it to her dagger, flip over the minotaur, all while slicing up through its chest and its its shoulder blade. She removed her dagger from the beast and sheathed it before it shattered, wild eyes sullen as it realized how quickly it had died. She smiled, catching one of the shattered data fragments in her hand. It broke further in her hands and seeped away. She looked back over to the ruined shrine and began to walk forward, prepared for this journey to be ended. 85763 BD:7+3=10 MD:5-3=2 Hidden 400/400 <> 30/40 Minotaur A 0/30 Minotaur B 0/30 Edited June 8, 2017 by Hidden
Hidden 1 Posted June 8, 2017 Author #19 Share Posted June 8, 2017 She walked forward to the shrine, looking at it with curiosity. What could have weathered it away this much? The grandness of it all, lost away. There was still a gleaming object at the top of the fallen structure. It stood high on a pedestal that appeared to be still all in its beauty. Somehow, untouched where yet everything around it completely decimated. She climbed up the rubble and reached up and grabbed the object. It began to gleam brighter, a brilliant blue light encased the object. The light began to fade and in her hand sat a pendant, one side completely black, the other completely white. There was intricate patterns over the smooth metal. On the dark side of the metal, etched in was an image depicting a cloaked figure, a shadow where black wings protruded through its back. A dark blade was seen in its hands. On the white side, etched in the metal was another figure. This one was uncloaked and appeared to be wearing shining golden armor. White wings protruded its back and a brilliant gold sword sat in his hands. He looked like an avenging angel, striking against the darker side of the pendant. The pendant appeared to be at battle with itself. The tapped the pendant and looked at its stats. It was a vanity item called <Dawn Pendant>. The dawn pendant was almost weightless, but yet she put it into her inventory for rather safe keeping.

She ducked through the woods and thicket, ensuring she was careful the entire way. Supposedly, this path would take her completely out of the forests of wavering mists. Night was beginning to fall, and she began to hear quiet moans and lamentations from the shrine in which she retrieved the pendant. She found her way to the exit of the forest and stopped at the end of it, looking back to ensure nothing was following her and she took a deep breath and moved throughout town and to the teleport pad. She stood on it and commanded for it to take her to the dawn. She teleporteD outside the front door and began to twist the knob. Sey appeared to not have returned home yet, but there was a steaming bowl of spaghetti on the table for her. There was a note mentioning that he was out on the twenty-first floor and would back around ten. She smiled, removing her hood of her cloak. Her hair fell to her lower chest and she began to eat the spaghetti, waiting for Sey to return home. RP Completed! 3 SP 2600 Col Dawn Pendant
