Kisodeth 0 Posted June 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2017 Daybreak; nothing had ever come from rising so early in the morning especially when it came down to this certain female and her more particularly active night life style. So the burning glare of the sun had to be put on hold and she would sleep out the day until the sun had gone down. Snug in her bed, the woman had finally roused herself awake. Her feet hitting the cold floor, scattering bottles left and right as she wobbled to the bathroom, yawning and shaking her long black tresses to undo any sleep induced knots in her hair. She would have seen her face in the mirror had she cared to see it. A splash of cold water was enough to widen her otherwise would be bloodshot eyes. Groggy and not in the best of moods, the woman had needed something of a pick-me-up to get her night going. Yawning some more, the female took up her armory and equipped herself to get ready to strike while the iron was hot or however that saying goes. Black lips and dark blue eyes looked about her as the streets were mostly barren of people walking. Those who stayed out this late were just doing some minor routine whatever's, little did she care to hear of their ramblings. However, she had a presence with her as she walked, a confident gait as she scrolled through her list of objectives that needed to be met. One in particular in a chain of quests to help out starting players. She sighed reluctantly having to take such a quest, but it was part of the game and she needed to be above the game no matter what. Sapphires burned through the darkness as her heavy boots moved with each passing step, giving her presence domain over the pathway causing others to either step aside from her or marvel in awe at her more unique looking equipment. The shield over her back, sword at her hip, the flutter of material of her boots as she made her way to the quest objective; a Blacksmith by the name of Tealeaf. She had stood in front of the door for what seemed like ages, mulling over if she actually wanted to do this quest. She had a choice to decline, but this was easy experience. Might as well milk it for what it could be as she was already here. Sighing in grief of her on mental conversation, the dim light of the blacksmith caused her to wince, soft blue eyes giving way to the heat around her as she felt the forge not too far away. "Tealeaf." She had said to initiate the dialogue between the two. She would stand there with folded arms as the NPC spoke to her, her eyes showing disinterest, but she got to kill boar pups for certain materials. This could be worth her time at the very least. Eyes blinked as his talking finally started to flutter at the end where she could dismiss herself and start on this objective. Simple enough...Kill [censored], collect said [censored] and bring it back.
Kisodeth 0 Posted June 10, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) Winter's Discontent, the sword that was dripping with the essence of a cold aura had been brought out of the sheath it had been dormant in until it was time to execute her next plausible plan. Here, on floor one, the Beginning as they called it is where she will be making her presence known to the future of Aincrad. Well, in some small foot hold moment that it were. She had a long way before she could reach the elites that sat lofty upon their perch, but she would get there one day. Maybe. But till then, she had to fight the dregs of the system, scurry like a rat and collect every little shard of experience and tribulation. Because nothing was going to bend over just because she asked nicely. The equally named Death's Sting was a shield that had some nifty little enhancements on it. She would know better than to call what was planned and easy kill, but she was not expecting anything of the sort. But she had sighed, and using her neck to whip back the long curls of black hair from her face until the sapphire gaze of seriousness had gazed out. In this field with moon brimming with light, and with very, very little people at play, she would begin her work. And of course if she were to do something stupid and foolish, there would be less jearing. The combatant remembered what the quest had called for. Three Boar Tusks from Boar Pups. A simple matter. Her sapphire gaze honed on the weak boars called pups, and sought them out as her cold blade cut through the grass as it was dragged behind her. When she had found a small circle of these boar pups, her eyes narrowed and fixed on them clanking her sword and shield together to get their attention. "I need to kill three of you for your tusks. Come, make this enjoyable for me." When her sword had hit the shield to alert them, their focus went on to her. With red small eyes, they all attacked at once slamming into her shield one after another. With little damage they had done, they had exploded into pixels soon there after. The thorns of her shield had slain them easy enough and they popped with the prize of her fortune scattered across the grass. With her ginger brows raised, she slumped over and took up the materials. "That was barely worth it. Time to move on to the big boars." --- Kisodeth: 117/120 | EN: 10/12 | Thrns: 14 Dmg Boar Pups x3: 0/5 | Dmg: 3 ID: 85816 BD: 1 MD: 8 LD: 14 Boar Tusks: x3 Edited June 10, 2017 by Kisodeth
Kisodeth 0 Posted June 10, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) Kisodeth had slain boar pups. Weak and pathetic mobs that had been for the sole purpose of a beginner in a beginners quest. This would not do. She had to find out what she could push of herself and how far it can go before she would have to take a step back. Those same sapphire eyes would gaze of the field. She would come up to a squad of pretty hefty looking boars. This should do as a solid test of her skills and how far she could go without her breaking. In the moonlight, she once more tapped her sword against Death's Sting, the shield which sounded off the attention she was attempting to gain from the boars. As if caught in the brights of a car, their eyes widened and the slop of mess from their mauls began to drip down in a gooey mess from their mashed lips. The woman had stood there with a narrowed eye gaze as her blue eyes looked over what she was about to slay. Their HP bars were a bit more on the wild side compared to those pups, but they had presented little challenge in the ways of dealing any real hurting her. She was decked out in a suit of armor that could not be penetrated with her specific level. It was good to grind out some experience here. She wondered what she could obtain by killing these boars. It was an excitement that ignited her fire, and now she had planned to burn them all down to ash. Winter's Discontent did not seem to be too pleased with Kiso at the very moment, twice now had her blade been compromised by the charging boars. With her shield raised, the boars had pelted the steel taking damage from the thorns, but not the meat of her sword art which was unable to one again trigger. She grunted lightly from the attacks as she grit her teeth. Sweeping her blade across the air to allow the frigid blade to show itself to the enemy, the woman stepped forward, "Oh this is not going to end well for you. But it is good to know this shield is at least doing something against you. But now, if only I could trigger a sword art..." --- Kisodeth: 117/120 | EN: 9/12 [+1,-2] | Thrns: 14 Dmg || Mit: 27 Boars x4: 46/60 | Dmg: 18 ID: 85817 BD: 1 [Miss] MD: 7 [18-27= 1 Dmg x 4] = 4 Dmg Loot: Boar Tusks: x3 Edited June 10, 2017 by Kisodeth
