[SP-F9] Recollection

Keres was resting uneasily in her section of the shop, still locked up of course.  When she was going through the first stage of her withdrawal, Domarus had no way of knowing what to expect.  Most of the time, the first stage involved physical anomalies, but since SAO deleted that factor entirely, it was unexpected what would happen to her.  What ended up unfolding was merely anxiety, irritation and other things of that sort.  She seems to have reached the second stage which was more emotional and mental than anything.  Now she was experiencing mood swings, variable energy, variable concentration, tiredness, low enthusiasm, disturbed sleep as well as irritation and anxiety.  Domarus had never seen her like this and he was genuinely concerned something was going to happen.  Unfortunately there was little he could do at this point but wait.  He wondered how her personality would alter after this was all over.  That however, would need to wait.  He needed to go over his entries today.

Domarus had chosen to review his notes on the ninth floor.  The volcanic, ashen covered landmass was perfect for his nature as well as a place most players rarely visited.  With the lack of visitors he would be able to do as he pleased.  He pulled out his notes, all of them written in greek, and began to look at them one by one.  All of them were written in greek to keep players from deciphering them.  Domarus had used it so long he could read the font right off.

Απλώς μαντεύω από την κορυφή του κεφαλιού μου, το τσεκούρι φαίνεται ότι είναι πιο πιθανό να αντιμετωπίσει τις περισσότερες ζημιές. Βαρύ πανοπλία μαζί με αυτό θα πρέπει να λειτουργήσει.

Most players would be unable to read this of course, let alone translate it.  Domarus however, had mastered it, as said above.  While most players saw unknown font, Domarus read this:

Kayaba has sealed everyone in this game and now acts as the god of this world.  Players cannot respawn and in order to get out players must clear the game.  It is clear that he is telling the truth which means my plans in the real world are forcibly put on hold.  Unfortunately Keres has run off and thus I’ll need to find her.  She’ll regret wandering off.

In the meantime I need to decide how I’m going to proceed in the game.  Heavy weapons is an obvious choice.  They deal the strongest blow.  Just guessing off the top of my head, ax seems the more likely to deal the most damage.  Heavy armor along with that should work.

 

That was the day that started it all.  Keres was separated from Domarus and it was declared that they were all trapped.  Domarus had chosen to begin gathering intel and info before anything else rather than become furious or terrified like most players.  He had chosen a tactical path and sought to learn not only the best way to win the game, but also wanted a good idea at what he'd be dealing with when it came to his more...  Personal vendetta.

There were many notes written from that one entry but Domarus would observe them at a later time.  Most of that info was made void with the intelligence he had now anyways.  However it was always good to compare previous notes with current or future notes, no matter how invalid they were.  It was always a good idea to get a read on how fast things were changing.  Perhaps they may give him ideas as well.  For now he'd turn the page and take a look at the next entry.

Πρώτη προσωπική συνάντηση σημείωσε: Μαύρα μαλλιά, καλύτερος εξοπλισμός που δείχνει ότι ήταν υψηλότερο επίπεδο. Προσέγγιση λόγω της έλλειψης "φόβου" μου. Arc, ένας μισθοφόρος, απίθανο να σκοτώσει τους παίκτες αλλά όχι εξ ολοκλήρου. Πρώτη πραγματική πάλη με τον όχλο πριν την έξοδο από τον αγώνα και την παρατήρηση του τόξου από το εξωτερικό. Θαυμάζει δύναμη που σημαίνει ότι δεν θα είναι πολύ δύσκολο να τον εντυπωσιάσει στο μέλλον.  Το Arc πραγματικά δεν φαίνεται να νοιάζεται για τίποτα, εκτός από τη δύναμη. Είτε ενδιαφέρεται για οτιδήποτε κάνω είτε όχι, δεν έχει ακόμη βρεθεί, αλλά από αυτό που έχω δει προσωπικά μέχρι τώρα. Μπορεί να κάνει έναν εξαιρετικό γενικό στο τέλος.
