[PP-F1] The Quest For THE Walking Stick (Pinball, Stryder)

Recommended Posts

It seems that all Martha is doing nowadays is complaining about how different it feels not to walk with a walking stick. She needed to get one fast and she knew it as well, or she will never feel the same again. In real life, she had become so adjusted to using a walking stick that she had never truly imagined herself without it and now that she has experienced walking without it, it truly is uncomfortable. Martha sighed, her back hunched over as she put her left hand on her back, trying to relieve herself of the body that has changed from when she was a youth. "Memories, memories. Darn ol' memories."  She said to herself, wondering what to eat for the morning. Looking around, she saw a food stand with some cookies and fries and small foods of different sorts and the one working at the stand was a youngster who seemed eager to give to a woman in need.

"Hey, you there. I see you are serving some nice food items out here. You willing to help a poor old woman in need?" Martha asked, approaching the stand and then saw that the stand was only a forehead shorter than her. "You disrespectful. Down here!" Martha shouted when she saw the stupidity of the man who was looking around to see where the voice was coming from.

"Erm, sorry, misses, I can't do that." The stand NPC said, apologetically.

"What do you mean you can't do that. People have endless opportunities and you can do anything. People like you will never be successful." Martha grunted, her eyes squinting as she shook her head.

And so an argument began.

Pinball had been walking around the first floor's starting city, as he usually found himself doing. It served as a good distraction from the rather recent turn of events, and he often found himself lost in thought as he walked the streets and alleyways of the city. He found himself where the market stalls were set up. The marketplace, it seemed, was bustling with activity, but one voice stood out to him the most. It seemed he had walked into some kind of mini game event, an old lady arguing with a... wait. The old woman he had taken for an NPC actually had a green cursor above her head. Pinball's jaw dropped at the sight of it. It was so bizarre, seeing an old lady in an MMORPG. Girls, he knew, were rare, but grandmothers in their winding down years? Unheard of. At least unheard of by him. I have to talk to her, Pinball decided. He clenched his fist, and approached the old woman.
