Zehro 0 Posted April 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2014 ( Just Random Encounters Within 'Town Of Beginnings' anyone can join. ) It had been a week that the first Players of Sword Art Online had been made prisoners in the first ever death game, the could careless about the vast thousands of peoples lives in need of saving...protecting...they needed a savior. Zehro, was not that savior...there were 5 souls in this game that she only cared for, they probably are happy to be in a place where their murderous hearts can be fully content; they were in a cage and like everyone else...there was no where to run from her revenge; no one to protect, no like THEY needed much protection anyways. Since that week Zehro had prepared for her journey in Sword Art Online with the programs that DeLa Croix Technology had at hand, she made herself specialized clothing & weaponry but to avoid any suspicion from any security programs running within the game she had not given her specialized clothing or weapons any status altering effects, they were just like every other newbies weaponry...this was purely aesthetics, her TRUE self shown in the game of Sword Art Online. No doubt, her sisters had the same idea before they had entered this game to make their avatars more customized than most, they always sought out to be visionaries with every aspect of their lives "I'm coming for you all." she muttered to herself looking down at her opened hand, closing it and opening it "So real." she pressed two fingers against her expose tummy sliding it up until it hit clothe "Every touch." her face was stricken with grief, a dark lament growing within her soul "That means..." she moved her fingers away from her flesh and clenched her hand into a fist "...they will all feel the pain I've felt." she looked up from the 'Town Of Beginnings' starting way point and continued deeper into the city towards the towns Square, getting used to her bearings before trying anything too extreme. The SwordsWoman's long beautiful white hair flowing behind her as she walked, eyes were fixated on her & unique clothing that clung to her skin concealing all that needed to be concealed but still exposing parts of flesh about her body, she looked almost ghostly in comparison to the other players. Elyth 0 Posted April 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2014 Walking down the street, Elyth took in the sights. It was but a week since the floating hooded person who kinda looked emo had announced that all the players were trapped in-game and the logout button had mysteriously disappeared from the HUD. Slowly, everyone would get used to this new reality, though inevitably some would die before the completion of this game. Elyth frowned, trying to list the all the possible ways to die, then all the ways to avoid dying, which was a more prominent issue. For clarification, Elyth didn't want to die. She wanted to be able to experience space-age technology before she did, but that was a long way off. Sighing, Elyth redirected her eyes and mind to her surroundings. When she didn't think about it, the Town of Beginnings was truly a beautiful site to behold. It looked like a bustling city, albeit historically inaccurate and fantasy-based. Really, she wouldn't mind living here. The only thing she would regret was leaving her family behind, and that was something she'd rather not happen. In fact, wasn't her sister also in-game with her? Where was she? Honestly, people in Elyth's family get lost so easily! With nothing else to ponder, Eluth decided to return to the inn and listen to people complain and moan- actually, no. She was going to keep walking. People like that usually started crying or yelling or getting into fights, and Elyth'd rather not see that happening. So she kept on walking. Up ahead of her, she saw a ghostly figure dressed in white, with long white hair. Her clothing and hear surpassed that of an ordinary beginner player, and she seemed to be... mad? Curious yet cautious, Elyth slowly approached the woman, hoping not to startle her.
Zehro 0 Posted April 27, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted April 27, 2014 The SwordsWoman was not one to be cautious, the 'pitter patter' of foot steps were heard all around her...from children, men & women alike...but these specific footsteps were following behind her as she made her way to the Town Square, it wasn't a coincidence. Zehro did not want to scare the person off just yet if they were an informant for one of the Five, she continued down her path, reaching the Town's Square...many people congregated here in this location, laughing, smiling, couples embracing one another, children running around; almost hard to forget they were in a Death Game. Zehro stopped at the large fountain staring down at her own reflection she could feel the other persons aura from behind "If you need Col or items, I have none to spare." her back still turned to the girl. The shimmering stars from the night sky reflecting off the pooling water at the bottom of the fountain, the moon's light barely helping to light up the town square since it was all well lit with street lamps. Kane 0 Posted April 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2014 The night was full of stars, much clearer and brighter than could be seen on Earth, but still not as bright as the lights in the Starting City. A week had passed since that madman Kayaba had trapped them all inside a beautiful prison, a gilded cage made of earth, wind, and fire. A lot had happened in a week... All over this brand new world, across the floating continent of Aincrad, people were learning just who they really were. Cowards became acutely aware of their cowardice, desperately burying their heads in the sands and losing their minds as the truth of their situation became more and more tangible. The suicides had picked up, as the days began to add up, and it became clear that their rescue would have to be self-made. People were still muttering muted threats against Kayaba, cursing the careless god of their new world for his cruelty. And yet, in this darkness, there was light. Heroes had been born from this adversity, as courageous Players began formulating plans to take the levels on, one by one, and people began to let righteous anger and the will to survive drive them though those first, dark days. Already, fighters and crafters alike were improving their skills, gaining experience in this brave new world as they prepared to face the oncoming storm. They say luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. If this was true, then it was a good thing that Kane had been preparing for something like this his whole life. An arrogant and brash youth, he'd studied medieval European combat arts for his own self-confidence, a boasting point at parties and something to impress girls with. No longer. That first day of darkness had seared his soul, striking him with the realization that he might never be able to truly atone for the way he'd waltzed through life without compassion. Now, fortune had favored him once more. As Kane strolled through the cobblestone streets, illuminated by the lamp-posts and the moon that hung low in the night sky, he adjusted the immense greatsword that was slung across his back. The <> was a unique weapon, a -Rare- piece that had been a reward from the <> quest. He ran one hand through his dark blonde hair, while the other worriedly rubbed at a dent in his breastplate. He'd been fighting a quest boss, and had taken some brutal hits. Returning to the first floor to make some light repairs seemed like a good option, and he had arrived to the city at night, just in time to see the city glow. As he walked past the Town Square, he did not intend to pay it attention. But he paused as his hearing caught a voice with a decidedly French accent saying, "If you need Col or items, I have none to spare." Turning, Kane looked and saw what was probably the most strikingly beautiful woman he'd ever seen. She looked like a pale spectre, almost angelic... but some sixth sense told Kane that she was no angel. Her clothes looked unique, a custom piece like his blade. As he slowly walked forward into the Square, he could see there was another conspicuous girl there, behind the white-clad one. Kane decided to walk slowly, purposefully into their line of sight. Not too close, but enough for them to realize he was there. "Apparently I'm not the only one who enjoys a nice evening stroll." He said in a voice that was low and strong. The ball was in their court now.
Dray958 0 Posted April 28, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2014 Dray was walking thru the town mostly keeping to himself, anyone that came p to close, being real players or npc's, were shrugged off by Dray. he kept the distance he could from people but this town was crowded and loud. As he walked his starter gear made brushing sounds as it rubbed against him. Even though he was tall, Dray was mostly timid, he didnt know if there was anyone he could trust yet but after hearing the announcement that the creator of this video game had basically turned everyones mind into a prison, he knew he would have to at least make one friend to get to the higher levels of this game and survive. As he walked into the town square he immediately sat down on a bench and relaxed for a bit. He closed his eyes to listen to the sounds of this artificial town. The win picked up sending his ark, sandy colored hair flopping around his head. He didnt have enough hair to cover his eye brows, but even so it i flow with the wind. After awhile Dray did open his eyes, when he did the sight of three random strangers caught his attention. He noticed that all had gear which made them look like they had been veterans of this game even though it had only been a week since the server actually went online and everyone began playing. He wasnt sure whether to stay in his spot and follow the actions of the strangers or just let them be and walk away to mope around for another who knows how many week. He had to get a start to this game somewhere, and he decided sitting on this bench and waiting for the three was his start.
Edwyn 0 Posted April 28, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 28, 2014 Edwyn was on his back staring at the sky above the Town of Beginnings. He was on the top of the inn he was staying at, he had brought a blanket up to the roof after dinner and had been laying there ever since. The sunsets were always beautiful here in SAO and the night sky was unbeatable. Tonight the stars seemed even more brilliant than normal, and the moon was full, but still low in the sky. It was going to be a truly beautiful night. Luckily Edwyn had remembered to bring some whiskey up with him, so he could stay up here all night if he wanted to.
