Trixie 0 Posted August 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2017 (edited) Trixie was glad that summer was coming to an end. It had been mostly just hot and miserable for her, since she neglected the thought of going to any sort of event, which she now regretted. She decided to go up to Floor 3 to cool down for the last few days of summer, she figured it would be more relaxing up there. Trixie was walking thrpugh Delilah, looking at everything around her. The villagers acted the same as they did always, but it was nice to see them in a somewhat different place. The village still had that medieval feel to it, but it was fine. It was a bit windy today, so Trixie's clothes blew a little bit to the north, but the wind wasn't too strong. Trixie walked to the edge of the village and stared out at the open fields with all the flowers on them. It was definitely nicer than Floor 1 during the summer. @Dazia @Vigilon@Kasier Edited August 27, 2017 by Trixie
Kasier 0 Posted August 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2017 "Lemonade, please," Kasier said, as the owner of the ramen directed his eyes from the ramen bowl that he was making to her. To this action, Kasier responded with a raise of an eyebrow followed by her request for the drink before remembering to remind the owner to make it extra "lemony", in which the NPC responded with a nod before going right back to his ramen for the other customers that sat around her. The ramen stand owner would get her her lemonade in due time, and she really didn't want to drink it that bad. Instead, she had been thinking about the recent guild meeting that she had participated in - the one that caused nearly everyone to shed tears for a fallen comrade. Kasier only had a general idea of what the man, Beatbox, was like as she had only gone a few quests with him, but he didn't seem that crucial to the front lines. If the death of one person is able to cause such an effect, what would happen when the death count begins to raise as players progress in this game? That's the question that was on her mind the whole day. Finally, the famous NPC ramen maker was about to take a break and make her the lemonade that she had requested. "Thanks." Kasier whispered simply, paying the small amount of fee that the ramen maker charged before walking off with the lemonade in her hand. Carrying on with her thoughts, she found herself at the edge of the safe zone staring at a purple/violet haired girl from afar. It was an unconscious action - something that she didn't really think about and she just did while she was too busy engaging herself in her own boring mind. Since she was here, she might as well take a break and enjoy the scenery of this floor. This floor, of course, is one of the more calming ones compared to some of the other floors. "Quite calming, isn't it? Quite the place to be on a fine day like this." Kasier exclaimed, walking up to the girl and standing besides her. @Trixie
Trixie 0 Posted August 27, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted August 27, 2017 Trixie started to drift off a little bit in her thoughts while staring out at the open field. It was just very pretty to look at. Trixie jumped a little in surprise when she heard a voice near her. She turned to see a blonde haired player standing next to her. "Oh, hi there! Yeah, it is pretty calming on this floor, I just enjoy the scenery here. I suppose you've been here before?" Trixie asked, putting on a smile on her face. Trixie didn't mind the company at all, it just made things more calming. She walked forward and out of the village borders, then sat down beside a few flowers. "I haven't spent much time outside of Floor 1, but it just makes this all the more pretty. Wouldn't ya agree?" Trixie said, now lying down on her back, looking up at the sky. The clouds were just as nice to look at, if not more calming. @Kasier
Vigilon 0 Posted August 28, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 28, 2017 It was a breezy day in Floor 3, and Vigilon got tired of just sitting around lying down on the plains right beside Delilah, under the shade of a tree. Several events have made him tired out, so he was looking for nice places and good ways to tone it down for a bit. It was only going well for his familiar, Veriost. The small white frost dragon was fast asleep. "Easy for you to relax, you sleep almost half the day every day..." He yawned, and got up, causing a sleeping Veriost to tumble to the ground. The familiar shook herself off, and climbed up on Vigilon's shoulder, promptly falling asleep again. He sighed, and started walking back to town. He stopped at the edge, where along the edge, he noticed two players calmly looking at the scenery. "Well, in my current position, I might as well start getting to know more players. It could mean fore friends and allies, since I'm going to need plenty after all..." He decided to walk over to them. "So, you two enjoying the scenery?" @Trixie @Kasier
Dazia 0 Posted August 28, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2017 "I'm fine, I'm sure I don't need anything else at the moment." The NPCs at the stalls really know how to tell you what they have and why you should have that along with what you already received in such a not-so-subtle manner. Dazia walked away, slightly shaking her head over the matter. She began to recap to herself the skills she planned to use, for she still had yet to know what order to get them in. "Battle healing, perhaps light armor...Energist, maybe? There's so many skills I could utilize... Maybe even search and detect, or sneak and hide, whichever helps me more..." She was a bit exhausted over the past few days, which were the first days that she was out in the field, rather than in the Town of Beginnings, where she had been thinking of countless strategies for who knows how long since this forsaken game began. She soon saw a familiar player, talking to two other players. Did she see the blonde-haired one before? She probably hadn't met her yet, but perhaps getting to know other players wouldn't be such a bad idea today. "Mind if I join in the conversation?" @Trixie @Kasier @Vigilon
Trixie 0 Posted August 28, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted August 28, 2017 Trixie started to hum a little tune to herself while looking up at the clouds when she heard another player. She sat up and turned to see a brown haired player standing near her with a small dragon. Trixie gave him a smile and nodded her head, "Yeah, I'm enjoying the scenery. You doin' the same I assume?" Trixie replied. Trixie then heard another voice, from behind her this time. A black haired player was walking up to the three of them, asking to join the conversation. "Sure, you're welcome to talk with us. I wasn't expectin' so mamy peeps to enjoy the scenery." Trixie responded before lying back down on the ground. Trixie was thinking of something to say, then remember she had forgotten to ask for their names. "If I may ask, who are y'all? I'm Trixie by the way." Trixie introduced herself looking around at the three players beside her. @Kasier @Vigilon @Dazia
Kasier 0 Posted August 28, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2017 Kasier watched as the girl decided to walk out of the safe zone and lay on her back facing the sky. Doing so was an extremely dangerous rookie mistake because she had not met Kasier before. As far as she was aware, Kasier could be someone of extreme danger despite the fact that she is green. One can never be too careful and cautious in this game. Whatever, Kasier thought, walking out of the safe zone but refusing to sit down next to the player - instead, she would stand next to her, looking into the distance as well. It was still early in the morning, meaning the atmosphere was capable of providing the two players with a small breeze that was enough to give a calming, heart-lifting feeling, and Kasier throughly enjoyed the moment. "Yeah, I've been here before." Kasier exclaimed, not lifting her eyes from the horizon. Before she knew it, two more players had approached the two players - one who asked whether the two were enjoying the scenery while the other asked if she could join the conversation. The two players looked familiar but she was not aware of exactly who they were - she had only seen them but not properly become acquainted with them. Kasier looked over at the two players, wondering what level they were and attempting to find out exactly where she had seen these two players before. "Kasier... Kasier of the Celestial Ascendants. Pleased to be of an acquaintance." Kasier introduced herself when Trixie initiated by telling the players of her name. This girl is either brave or extremely stupid... Telling her name to a bunch of strangers. @Trixie @Vigilon @Dazia
Vigilon 0 Posted August 29, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 29, 2017 Vigilon noticed that Dazia arrived, and asked to join in the conversation. "Sure, it was about to begin anyway." The lavender-haired player introduced herself as Trixie, and the blonde-haired player introduced herself as Kasier. She also mentioned the Celestial Ascendants. Well, guess it was up to choice here for Dazia and Trixie. He'd wanted to start a Guild for a while now, but the newer players usually weren't around at the time, or were being absorbed by other Guilds, like the Emerald Harbingers for example. He'd always considered their leader, Atzo, to be like a fox in his opinion. However, he remembered that Itzal was in the Celestial Ascendants, so on that note, he had absolutely nothing to worry about here. He trusted Itzal, so he had a reason to trust Itzal's fellow Guild members. "I'm Vigilon, future leader of the Guild-to-be, The Rising Dragons." He may be a little overconfident right now, but as long as the players had little to worry about, he had no reason to worry. (OOC: If we are indeed out of the safe zone, we can still gather materials as our characters chat if we want to.) @Trixie @Kasier @Dazia
Dazia 0 Posted August 29, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 29, 2017 The lavender-haired player clearly had no sense of caution, welcoming a player with such open arms to a random conversation outside the safe zone. Dazia could have easily been someone looking for trouble against other low level players. Although she wasn't, that might depend on the future. For now, she had to work with the present. The lavender-haired player then asked for the players' names and then introduced herself as Trixie. Then the blonde-haired player introduced herself as Kasier of the Celestial Ascendants, and finally, Vigilon introduced himself as...a future leader of a Guild that hadn't even started yet. "Aren't you getting ahead of yourself there, Vigilon?" Dazia turned to the other two players. "...I'm Dazia. My only goal is to survive, by any means necessary." She took in the situation mentally, and began wondering, how exactly will Vigilon feel when he realized that he is the only male in this conversation? She may have a straight face on the outside, but she was smiling inwardly, eager to see whether or not Vigilon would respond, and/or how. She knew he was a kind, yet easily provoked person who's only shenanigan was actually hitting a target. "Vigilon, tell me you're not upset that you could hardly make a hit on the Dark Elf the other day, are you?" @Trixie @Kasier @Vigilon
Kasier 0 Posted August 30, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Kasier glanced at the two players who had come into the conversation only to start a conversation between themselves. Or rather, the girl who introduced herself as Dazia started some sort of conversation between the two players. However, before that, Kasier's curiosity perked as the male player said that he wanted to start a new guild called The Rising Dragons. Judging from the name, it will probably be another guild designed to bring players to the front lines - as if there wasn't enough of that already. It wasn't Kasier's place to criticize the idea, though, because there's a low possibility that the guild will actually be successful. Thinking about this, Kasier's thoughts soon redirected to her own guild - a guild torn to pieces through the death of one member. Well, perhaps, "torn to pieces" is too strong of a term for it, but if the paladins don't do anything about the morale of the guild, who knows what will happen to it? Sure, the guild members have claimed that they are all family, but when certain temptations come into the factor and when loyalty is tested, who knows how many will remain? Suddenly, after she snapped back into attention, she heard Dazia asking a question randomly out of the blue. Kasier had no idea why she had asked such a thing - whether out of good or bad intentions. "Struggling to hit mobs? I suggest going to an artisan for a lucky charm that can boost your accuracy. Makes you hit things easier." Kasier recommended, cutting into the conversation between the two players. @Vigilon @Dazia @Trixie
Trixie 0 Posted August 30, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Trixie was completely lost in the conversation, she had almost no idea what they were talking about. All she knew was that they were talking about guilds. "So Vigilon, you're starting your own guild too? I'm going to be part of a new guild that's being started by Domarus. He still needs members, so maybe you might be interested." Trixie said, trying to get involved in the conversation. That was all she really could think of to say. Domarus had told her to spread the word, which was what she was trying to do. Trixie liked the name "Rising Dragons", for the guild. It sounded heroic, her group had yet to come up with a guild name though, so maybe this would prove to be helpful. "So all of you are in guilds or starting one? That's pretty neat." Trixie said, not sure what else to say. She just decided to listen and see if there was anything else she could comment on. @Domarus
Vigilon 0 Posted August 30, 2017 #12 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Vigilon didn't exactly think he was getting ahead of himself. In fact, he believed others were getting ahead of him. Then Dazia asked him if he was still upset over the fact that he could hardly land a blow on the Dark Elf. "...Yes, yes I still am. It was completely ridiculous...." Kasier made a suggestion about a lucky charm with an accuracy boost. "You mean, like the one I have right now?" He replied, lifting the useful yet unusual iron chain necklace. "Yeah, I had it during the fight with the Dark Elf, but if only she didn't move so fast..." Then Trixie happened to say that she intended to join a Guild that would be started by Domarus. Shoot. Someone already beat him to it. Of course, it happened to be that moment, when.... "Struggling with competition, are you?" The lucky charm just had to whisper. Vigilon placed his forehead on his right hand. "I think I should also mention that this lucky charm occasionally and spontaneously whispers for reasons unknown....I'm actually wondering if it will ever shut up and be as quiet as a typical necklace..." @Trixie @Kasier @Dazia
Dazia 0 Posted August 31, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Kasier seemed to make a suggestion saying that a lucky charm with accuracy boost would help. Sure, Dazia's weapon had accuracy, but at one point it wouldn't be enough. Thus she took note of that in her mind. Trixie mentioned a Guild she already intended to join, and that Vigilon could look into that if he was interested. Vigilon's lucky charm then whispered, it's sound audible to the four players in the vicinity. However, Dazia had already heard the thing once, and was told about it, so it didn't surprise her as much this time. She turned to Vigilon. "I'll say. You might want to step up your game at least a little, in that case..." She turned to Trixie. "In my case, not really. I don't exactly know whether or not leading a Guild is going to help me survive, nor do I have enough info on the available Guilds, let alone those yet to start, to join any of them either. So, perhaps you can tell me what you know? I might be interested, if not curious." @Trixie @Vigilon @Kasier
