Ichi 0 Posted September 6, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted September 6, 2017 (edited) C.P.S.M (acronym for Choleric Phlegmatic Sanguine Melancholic) is a fancy little alchemic shop located somewhere in Delilah, which erm, I think from the entrance, you gotta go straight, walk over the first bridge you see, then turn left, then walk among the grassy stairs, river's gonna sound nice at your left ear. Now just turn to the right as you reach the intersection and...then pass six buildings. See the logo in the form of a bottle with creatures inside? You found it. Step inside into the shop, and one will find that it looks like a literal tree house, with the walls having the same texture as tree trunks, alchemic plants here and there, and the floorboards being wooden. Oak wood...I think. The visitor will also notice numerous shelves with the potions, crystals or lagoons that they need, with the price board noticeable between the shelves. There is a table for Ichi to work on his stuff, and another where the visitor can fill out an order form or relax for a while. Alternatively, they can chill on some comfy chairs at the corner. This shop has one room, and that's for Ichi only. His personal resting area is equipped with a bed and some drawers, a lamp, and for some reason, a cabinet of some non perishable food and drink. Just that. The room is sealed by a wooden door, which has a simple lock that can be accessed from inside the room. And now, with the intro aside, Ichi then sits onto the chair, having returned from his first adventure with another player. He almost got himself killed there, but at least he has materials to spend on now. Preparing his equipment as he smiles at the fact that he now has his own shop, granted by the Aincrad system, Ichi gets to work right away. ID: 88369 CD: 4 (You fail! Ichi 0 Posted September 7, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted September 7, 2017 (edited) Trial and error, Ichi. Trial and error, he thinks to himself as today, he is attempting to craft a simple healing potion. The ingredients are simple. Just two teaspoons of rose water, some healing herbs, sugar, two different bases, and erm...Orpiment I guess? Let's try that to the mix. Working through alchemy is like listening to your own ASMR. The gentle sounds of mixing, grinding and so on brings Ichi's ears to an orgasm as he feels relaxed each time. After combining these materials altogether, he boils the mixture with an alchemic boiler, the initially red liquid soon turns to a bright orange, similar to a carrot. Ichi's eyes glow up as he thinks he can make it... Nope. It turns to a different color, mostly colorless, and fail to turn into a healing potion. Confused, Ichi flips through one of the alchemic books that are provided in the shop, trying to find his fault. It doesn't take long though, as he soon found the solution. Zincblende. That should have been used instead of Orpiment. With that ingredient in mind, he brews another potion, and as it boils, it turns orange again...and it remains so. Ta da! Taking the bottle in hand, Ichi looks at his first healing potion, which looks like orange juice if you are thirsty enough to hallucinate to see one. Corking the bottle, he puts it into the 'For Sale' shelf. ID: 88379 CD: 2 (You fail! Lose 1 Material) Gained 1 EXP ID: 88380 CD: 10 (Success! Ichi 0 Posted September 8, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) Ichi starts to wonder what kind of lagoon he can make, and how can he make them unique, interesting or grotesque from whatever drug that exist in Aincrad...if there are some apart from the acid he received. He has been reading more on making potions and crystals, and other alchemic stuff that he can try. Some of them seems false, some may be real, but the chance of success isn't really that high... Regardless, he tries to create any of the lagoons described in one of the alchemic books that he is skeptical about...but looks like luck isn't with him today. Both produce poor results and this saddens him, for his efforts are nothing but a waste. Oh well...guess he has to try again tomorrow. He keeps the books in the shelf and cleans up his work table before retreating to his resting room, eating some cans of sardines and a bottle of water before lying down onto his bed for some sleep. Ichi 0 Posted September 10, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) The next important potion besides HP recovery is antidotes. Very important for every adventurer no matter where they are. Health ain't a problem once they are equipped with armor and recovery items. But then there are status effects like poison and bleed, which ignores armor entirely and affects the player at the probability of 100%. Now this can't be avoided at all once they are hit with these nasty things, thus the importance of antidote. Ichi had learned about this a day ago, and spent the whole time reading about antidote recipes. He has to make the first try a success thanks to the low supplies of materials he is having. Welp. Now that is done, he sits onto his chair, and begins his work, mixing and measuring ingredients in flasks, keeping watch on the changing colors of the liquid...and trying not to fall asleep too. After mixing the potion, he places the flask onto the boiler, and boils it...and waits. From green, to pink...hah, then...purple. And it remains so. Ichi checks the book to see if he does it correctly. A smile spreads across his face as he finds himself successful again in making another potion. ...Some time later, he decides to try to create another potion or a lagoon, just to see if it works this time. Nope. Still the same. ID: 88407 CD: 10 (Success! Created Uncommon potion) Gained 3 EXP ID: 88408 CD: 4 (You fail! Ichi 0 Posted September 11, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted September 11, 2017 (edited) Crap, crap, and crap. Each time Ichi attempts to create lagoons, they all fail miserably. Meanwhile, whenever he makes a potion, it is sometimes successful. What the heck. Maybe lagoons aren't fit to be in Aincrad. Hell, they probably aren't created through alchemy. These rumors may be nothing more than false stories that are told out of entertainment...or do they? If lagoons exist though, who would make it? An AI? A monster? Maybe...that developer himself? Either way, Ichi is still stumped that he can't even try to duplicate the acid that was given to him days ago. The acid...wonder what the alchemist used to make it. The effects felt real, as if he was teleported into another dimension. An europhia in heaven in other words. Sighing, Ichi leans against the chair as he looks at his ingredients. Only very few left and...he would have to find them as quickly as possible. Maybe people can still visit the shop and drop their orders here. ID: 88426 CD: 6 (Crappy potion.
