[F2-PP] Bees? <<Return of the Queen>> (Hikoru)

Moments after Jomei's strike left the Bee with a small amount of health, Hikoru had charged in and knocked down the rest of its HP. Letting out a quick sigh, Jomei stood up straight and watched as the insect exploded into crystals. The sound of humming Jomei then heard was different from the rest..deeper and more menacing. IT must have been the Queen, and she sounded angrier than ever. Jomei turned to Hikoru, who asked him if he wanted to wait a bit or attack her now. His eyes went to his health and energy meters for a moment, trying to judge just how long the fight may take. With Hikoru helping him, however, it should be no problem. The man gripped the rapier in his hand before spinning it once, "Lets go dethrone that Queen." 

After making the decision, Hikoru managed to jump into stealth once again, leaving the Emerald Duelist on his own. Lowering his eyebrows and taking a deep breath through his nostrils, Jomei lowered his body and entered a fighting stance. Emerging from the trees in front of him were four bees, three of them were minions from before, the other was, what he expected to be, the Queen. It shared similarities to its lower leveled predecessor, however from the looks of it, it almost seemed to mutate and become much more frightening with level.

Hikoru gave a nod as he asked to fight it then and there. He respected the man and his idea of a head on fight right after the bees. They were warmed up, and if they took too long he knew that they would lose their edge against the creatures. He prepared himself as he made sure his dagger was sheathed and held into the sheath tightly, then made his way back into the shadows. It didn't take much for him to get back into stealth. After using it so much it became really easy to fit into stealth. He found a new vantage point and made sure to keep his position strong. He gave a sigh and unsheathed his dagger. It would only be a matter of moments before the queen appeared, and he would be ready to strike her down and with her minions. He awaited for the right moment to strike quietly within the trees.

Jomei stood alone in the clearing as the Queen and her small army emerges from the greenery across from him. The man extended his arm, pointing the blade of his rapier to the sky before lowering it to his side. His eyes glared across the field at the bees as they approached his position, his feet starting to carry him forward. He moved in a slight jog at first before taking off at full speed, kicking up dust in his path. Once he activated his charge skill, he shot forward like a bullet. As his body approached the queen, one of the wasps anticipated his attack and swung its stinger towards Jomei like a sword, leaving a large gash down his left arm. However, the Emerald Delist continued forward, his sword colliding with the queen and unleashing a vicious onslaught. The use of his strongest sword art caused the Queen to falter and hover back, trying not to crash into ground. "Now would be a good time to get your ass our here, Hik. " Jomei said under his breath, his free hand covering the red and white mark that stretched down his arm, olive eyes scanning the enemies that surrounded him.

Hikoru waited for the oppertune moment. The Queen and three more minions arrived on the scene. He acted fast, wanting to take out the bigger Target. The bees they were able to handle no problem, it was the queen he was most worried about. He made haste and attacked the Queen using Swarm, which he found ironic in the midst of combat. Soon his attack was finished and he looked to see the queen struggling to stay in flight, but she was still alive. He grit his teeth and looked at Jomei.

"Okay, go ahead and finish off the queen, i'll handle the minions. Once your done join me en route and we'll clean this up, maybe head for a drink at the pub for the night." he said, then started to make his way toward the bees.  It had been an easy fight so far, no big casualties. Jomei had taken a small hit earlier, but it wasn't anything that he was really worried about. He made sure that he was good, his dagger firmly in hand and prepared to fight for his life if he needed to.

After Jomei's hit, Hikoru appeared from seemingly nowhere and attacked the Queen Bee. Just as Jomei's attack had knocked the giant insect back, Hikoru's attack had done the same, this time knocking the bee to the ground with only a little bit of health back. Hikoru yelled back to Jomei to finish it off, and he would switch his focus to the minions for now. "Got it." Jomei said with a nod of his head as he ran right past Hikoru, towards the downed Bee. As its large wings began to flutter quickly, trying to pick it back up into the air. Jomei's first cut sliced straight through the wings, grounding it permanently. With a small flare of his blade, Jomei continued to slice up the bee, turning it into more and more crystals until the Queen was nothing but a pile of glass-like shards floating to the ground.

Hikoru made quick haste as he located his next target, the farthest bee from his location. Using his <<Charge>> skill, he quickly made his way to the bee and attacked it mercilessly, finishing it off in an array of pixels that surrounded his blue cloak like confetti or snowflakes. He looked back to see Jomei finish off the bee in what looked to be a complicated and high-ranking sword art, and he ignored the fact that he wasted that much energy on a creature on such low health. His mind always thought of conserving energy when he could, but when it came to these bees, he had used Swarm much more than he had in a long time and it was starting to tire him. He took a gasp of air for a moment before focusing back onto the fight. He was almost done and his Vanish's cooldown was almost done. Although, at this point he shouldn't need to use it. They were almost done and once he finished off one of the bee minions, he would fight and finish the last one. He gave a sigh and awaited Jomei's next move.

"Dammit." he cursed to himself, looking at the small energy meter under his health. He had accidentally used his strongest Sword Art in the heat of the moment, when he could have finished off the Queen with a much lower ranking one, one that would have preserved much more energy. Now, however, the bar began to hang low, leaving only a few more attacks in him before he would need to rest. Jomei looked at the three minions that remained, until Hikoru made quick work of one of them. Alright then, two left. Jomei chose on as his target and shot forward with his charge skill. His the man's first rapier strike hit the thorax of the bee with much force, causing its whole body to shudder, before Jomei unleashed a swift assault, knocking it to the ground. It was still alive with very minimal health yet. His eyes shot over to Hikoru, had Jomei really fallen that far behind everyone? Was it even worth trying to get back to the front lines.. let alone hunt down this Death Adder? As he was distracted, thinking on his inability to defeat these monsters on his own, the wasp he had just attacked desperately aimed its stinger at Jomei, shooting it front its body like a cannon. The sharp sword-like object pierced Jomei's shoulder, knocking him momentarily to his knees.

Hikoru saw that two bees still remained. One with extremely low health and the other with a full bar. He knew that Jomei could take care of the weaker one so he charged forward towards where the strong bee was. He quickly sidestepped out of its eyesight and struck from underneath, finding its weakest point and easily taking it out. He gave a buzz of defeat as he stood and sheathed hos dagger. They had finished for the day and it had been far too easy for them to do. He gave a sigh and looked around to see if any were left, but nothing else could be seen except the bee next to Jomei. He put his hands beneath his cloak and gave a small sigh.

"Alright, finish that one and lets head for a drink. We can talk more then." He said with a nod.

Jomei stood up and grabbed at the stinger in his shoulder, ripping it out and wincing from the discomfort. The bee that had shot at him slowly rose up, another stinger growing from its bottom half. Hikoru had made quick and easy work of yet another bee with no problems, making Jomei feel a bit insignificant again. "Alright, I'll finish this guy." Jomei said as he ran at the Bee. However, with the last of the Bee's energy, it decided to go on the attack and prevent the ginger from dealing any more damage to it. It flew high up into the air before dropping down towards Jomei like a comet. "[censored]!" jomei cursed out, diving out of the way. As he hit the ground, he popped up quickly and spun around to stab it with his rapier, missing multiple times. "Tch, never have I ever regretted giving a girl a gift this much.." Jomei joked in reference to giving up his trinket to Telrenya.

Hikoru looked and gave a sigh as he missed his mark on the bee. Quick as a flash he moved and attacked the bee, striking it in its discovered weak point and finishing it off in a flurry of blows. He landed gracefully as he sheathed his dagger and the pixels rained from above. He gave a small sigh as he looked at Jomei as he shook his head with a sly smile. 

"My my arent we rusty on the battlefield." He said with an outward laugh. "Come on, lets head to the pub amd get those old bones some r&r." He said, then turned his back and headed back towards civilization.

After missing his attack, Hikoru picked up on the slack and took out the bee's remaining health points. Jomei's shoulders dropped, gently sliding his rapier back into the scabbard on his hip. Hikoru teased Jomei, calling his skills a bit rusty. Jomei let out a heavy sigh. "I gave up the charm where I got most of my accuracy from to Telrenya, Beatbox's sister..." he chuckled and shook his head, "Ah well.. she'll need it more than I will, at least I still have Adere's help."  Hikoru then invited Jomei to go with him to a pub, where the two could get a drink and catch up on old times. With a smile, Jomei nodded and followed the man back towards the town. "Thanks Hik.. if I get that lust for revenge take over, I probably would have gotten killed out here alone. So your drinks are on me tonight." The two continued walking down the path until Urbus came into view. A concerned look formed on Jomei's face before he turned to Hikoru, "Wait... are you even old enough to drink?"
