Death_Adder 1 Posted November 28, 2017 #81 Share Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) "Death?" Seiichi scoffed, his back turned to the Ultramarine knight. The man's shoulders shuddered as he began to chuckle to himself, the laugh starting off low before becoming more audible. The swordsman's head then cocked to the side, his blue eyes locking with those of the large obsidian dragon, that now struggled to move its muscles yet again. "No.. Don't make me laugh." Seiichi walked towards the boss with a slow stride, letting the blades of Micheal and Lucifer drag along the stone ground, the sound of the metal scraping bounced off the walls of the cavern. The man stopped right in front of Tesseleth's sharp teeth, testing the paralyzed dragon, as well as proving a point to Calrex. Seiichi rose the blades to his sides as they began to glow, unleashing his Eclipse sword art yet again, dealing significant damage to the boss. Once his attack had ceased, he turned to face the blue haired man yet again, a malicious grin pulled at the corners of his lips. "I will add more to the list.. before I fall." Tesseleth the Tyrant 2 Posted November 28, 2017 Author #82 Share Posted November 28, 2017 Fools.. they were all fools. The dragon slowly moved around the cave, its large claws digging into the stone with each step. Tesseleth let out a low growl as its red eyes looked at each of the puny morsels, wondering which one would try to attack him next.. and which one he could eat first. The next to make a move was the man donned in heavy blue armor, one who had gained much of Tesseleth's attention during the fight without landing a single attack on the dragon. As the knight swung his sword, it only seemed as though he would still remained unscathed by Calrex's blade, as it merely cut wind next to the dragon's body. What he was not expecting, however, was the following attack from the other heavy armored player. Rushing to Tesseleth's side, the red and white knight drove the pommel of his blade into the side of the dragon's large skull. Like a nail being driven through his head, Tesseleth felt the shock go from one side of his temple to the other, shaking his entire body to the core, and causing all of his muscles to contract and stiffen, as if being electrocuted. Now not able to move yet again, Tesseleth's head rested on the cold, stone ground, trying to relax his body to regain movement yet again. In the meantime, the mysterious member of the last group.. the one with two swords.. seemed to mock the tyrant. Rather than making a quick attack, he slowly walked towards Tesseleth. The corners of Tesseleth's mouth twitched, bearing more and more teeth as he growled in anger, before receiving the full front of Death Adder's strongest sword art. Jomei 0 Posted November 28, 2017 #83 Share Posted November 28, 2017 Jomei felt a chill run down his spine as Death Adder seemed to mock the large dragon, slowly walking before the mighty beast and standing there before making his attack. Did this guy have a death wish? Or was he simply trying to show the players just who they should truly be fearing. Despite the help he was providing to the group with this boss, Jomei could only hope that the dragon would end that man's life here and now. The ginger shook off the thought, for now was not the time to think about Death Adder, when the boss in front of them was the only enemy at the moment. Jomei turned to look at the rest of his group, all of their health bars still mostly full, aside from a few scratches here and there. "Zandra, like Hirru said earlier. Don't heal just yet, we are all still fine. We need to focus all of our efforts on dealing as much damage as possible, which I know you're capable of." Jomei turned to look at Shield, "That includes you, Shield. I'm pretty certain that your Howl has generated enough Hate from the boss for now. Until another one of our unwanted guests wakes up to attack us, I think we should all focus on damage." Jomei rose his rapier into the air and faced towards the still paralyzed dragon, he yelled back to his group, "Conserve what energy you can, and make your strikes precise! On me!" Leading the charge, Jomei ran forward at the boss. Once Jomei was close enough, he began to activate his Over Radiation sword art, angling his body so he would run along the side of Tesseleth's body. Jomei shoved his rapier into the side of the dragon's cheek as he continued to run forward, spinning, stabbing, and slashing along the dragon's neck and body before finally breaking off and returning to where the other players stood. Shield 0 Posted November 28, 2017 #84 Share Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) Looking at the battlefield, Shield had to weigh Jomei's words. Tesseleth's top health bar was currently emblazoned with the paralysis symbol, which meant it would not be attacking his party. He swore again under his breath and clenched his empty fist, focusing his energy there until it glowed with a faint light. He swung his elbow and snapped his wrist, launching the collection of energy at Hirru. Once his teammate had received the parcel of energy, he ducked back towards the others. "My damage wouldn't even crack the boss' defenses," he growled under the clash of battle around them. "My build is designed to take hits, damage defensively, and to keep my party members energized to keep using their strongest attacks. If the boss isn't attacking, the best I can do is make sure the rest of you can." His eyes flickered for a brief moment to Ariel and Zandra, both heavy hitters seeming to have taken a very passive role in the raid so far. It was not often that he let his temper show through, but if looks could wound, his would have. Although they had not directly harmed anyone, Shield knew their abilities, and he knew that they were not putting everything they had into this fight. This fight has been very telling so far, if nothing else, of who I can trust on the front lines. They seem to be there for each other just fine. Not so sure about the rest of us. Zandra 0 Posted November 29, 2017 #85 Share Posted November 29, 2017 Ever since Zandra purified Ariel, she hv just stood there, like in trance and looked at the beutiful woman. She waited for some kind of reaction. Not only from the cleaning, but also from the kiss. She wanted to know if her feelings was the same. Thou there was no reaction. Zandra sighed and looked down at the ground. She herd the battle behind her but didnt really cared. The attack she had recieved wasnt that hard, and the burning she had only enjoyed. "You, I thought we had a thing Ari. Maybe it dosent matter to you, but I want you to know that I lo..." suddenly she herd a familiar voice saying a familiar name. It was Jomei that called out to her, to get her back in the fight. Zandras eyes darted back and forth over the battlefield. The battle seemed to be under control. The alchemist checked her partys healthbars. A sigh of relief when she saw Jomai was unharmed. None in her party was in any need of healing. She smiled and grinned at the dragon as she started to walk towards him. "Hehe, is that the best you got? Ive felt matches beeing hotter then that thing you blew at us." the dragoness said to the dragon as she started a jog. She prepared her strongest sword art, ready to unleash a debestating hit at the fantasy creature. As Jomei attacked, Zandra activated her charge skill and flew past him, letting out a trail of black smoke from the axe as the hidden power got raised. "This world isnt big enough for both of us!!!" the berserk healer shouted. next moment a loud BANG was herd and Zandra flew the lastt meters as if shot from a catapult. "Hahaha!!!" she laughed as the heavy axeblade digged deep into his chest. Zandra delivered another wide swing, wide enough to hit tre more mobs, but insted it only cleçåyaved the air around her. Hirru 0 Posted December 1, 2017 #86 Share Posted December 1, 2017 (edited) "You say that like it is a bad thing, Shield." The hunter called back to Shield as he re-energized the green haired hunter. Between the three guys of the team, they had more technical prowess than he had originally thought. Shield had shown that quite a few times before, but never to the amount that he had creating the teams. Although, the hunter still considered the other team plans as more efficient. That goes for Jomei, as well. He had much more experience than Shield and Hirru combined for raiding, at least, that's what the hunter thought. His voice was able to get Zandra to actually move, which may or may not be something that is still between the two of them, or his commanding voice. Either way, jade hunter couldn't let that command go to waste. Bursting forward, the hunter went in for another attack against the same leg that still carried the scars of his latest attack. The series of slashes and shoulder tackles and pushing into an uppercut that can send the user backwards, if they so deem. Using the momentum, the hunter could push himself away with a jump or two before the cool down freezes him in place. " @Ariel - The Crowned Lion, do something!" ID 91443 BD 4+2=6 Non-crit hit! Tesseleth the Tyrant 2 Posted December 2, 2017 Author #87 Share Posted December 2, 2017 Ariel Takes 100 dmg for not posting Tesseleth gave a low growl as many of the players still challenged his might. Although he didn't like any of these puny players, he still respected their courage against such a mighty foe. Soon the next group took their attacks against him, dipping his seemingly endless health pool dwindle a few numbers. Although he couldn't smile, the ends of his mouth curled up as he moved quickly, flapping his wings and grabbing the meat shield of that group and biting down, going through his armor to the flesh underneath. Satisfied with how well the attack went, he gave a slash as he threw him into the nearest Slatagmite, the pillar crumbling from the sheer force of the man being thrown into it. He gave a growl and breathed fire to keep back the first group from gaining any ground against him. This was his home, his home turf. He knew about everything there was here, and he knew where and when he could strike from being unseen. He was born and raised in this cavern, his father before him the last mighty king before he crumbled and turned into a dragons egg, where he emerged as the next King. He prepared for the next onslaught of attacks, but he knew that he would win this in the end, as he had done when the workers had rebelled against him. Morgenstern 1 Posted December 3, 2017 #88 Share Posted December 3, 2017 The blond watched as the dragon opened his gaping maw. He leapt to the side as a jetstream of heat was shot at him and his party. Fire was not something he could protect his friends from. He looked to the other groups health bars. Group one had taken some hits themselves, but group three had taken some large hits. One player in particualar held two swords up, gleaming brightly. He seemed cocky as he attacked, but he seemed pretty cool with the swords. "Who is that guy? He is awesome with his two swords and is dealing is much damage!" Jonathan watched as the dragon attacked Shield with a merciless fury."Let's go!" Once again, he was the first to charge into the fray. His sword gleamed a bright blue as he faced the oversized amphibian. He let out a roar cry of battle, charging the dragon head on. The dragon returned its attention to him, its razor sharp vision brinign a precise throw off. He dodged the incoming swipe from the tail, rolling into a crouch. He let out an annoyed tsk sound due to the fact that he had not gotten a hit on the thing yet. "Get some damage in guys!' Beat 0 Posted December 3, 2017 #89 Share Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) Almost half done...I bet he summons more adds once he hits half since the last one was at three quarters... Beat's eyes darted to his HUD and narrowed as he eyed his dwindling energy supply. He looked over the his partner and called out, "Hey Shield! if you get a spare moment, toss me some energy so I can keep pummeling this guy!" His body moved on it's own as he charged forth and used the last of the boon Ruby had given him, driving a harsh cross into the face of of the might floor boss. His handwraps shimmered as the sword art faded from his fist and released two coils, one of yellow electricity and one of bright, blue ice. They wrapped themselves around the mighty boss and held him fast as Beat dropped through the air landed softly. "Nice! I love these things! Let's see how you like that big guy!" He said, looking triumphantly at the large dragon, proud of the flawless puncvh he had just thrown and the brilliant result. Now, let's hope that holds... Hikoru 0 Posted December 3, 2017 #90 Share Posted December 3, 2017 Hikoru watched as the fire around him engulfed some of his comrades, but the flames didn't even come close to him. He was lucky enough to not be hit, or he wasn't the main target. He gave a smirk as his Unique Skill made him seem to blend in, making it almost impossible for creatures to notice him in groups. He took this chance and stuck the boss on the side of his neck. He was able to take a small chunk out of it's seemingly endless supply of health. He gave a sigh as he knew that he could really use the help of Ariel or Zandra to hit the boss a few more times. He gave a small sigh and gave a nod to the others within his team and the others. They had done well, almost depleted it's second health bar, which would mean either more minions or the possibility of a new attack or ability. He had been lucky thus far with not getting hit. He was the only one as far as he could tell, with a safeguard still protecting his body. He thanked the stealth for that, and the Vanish mod he had picked up previous. It had come in handy quite a few times, and it gave him a second chance to attack others and deal major damage to a second creature. He just wished the cooldown wasn't as long as it was now. Ruby 0 Posted December 4, 2017 #91 Share Posted December 4, 2017 What had she gotten herself into? The blonde healer struggled to dodge the rocks and debris that fell from the ceiling, each taking a large chunk out of her health as they slammed into her. She could not help herself, she was scared stiff of the large dragon that threatened her very life, towering stories above her head. The sight of the dragon's piercing red eyes sent chills straight down to her bones. Clamping her eyes shut and gritting her teeth, she shook her head, trying to get rid of the fear. No, I have to help. I can't just stand here, she thought to herself. Throwing her arms out in front of her, palms facing outward, she concentrated her healing energy. A blue aura encased her hands, as well as all of the members of her party, bringing all of their health bars back to max. Her own health had increased as well, though not the max as the others. As long as I can keep them alive, then maybe I will make it out of this.Field Medic Used - (18 EN). Itzal 0 Posted December 4, 2017 #92 Share Posted December 4, 2017 The battle was going rather slowly, and while players were receiving damage it didn't seem to be too life threatening. Then again, it seemed this boss' true strength would be the multiple dragon knights that dotted the area, which would more than likely be freed more often as the dragon's health dropped further and further. So far the one player who had been helping them greatly was the player with two swords. Jonathan spoke up, complimenting the player's abilities while also wondering who he was aloud. Itzal wondered the same thing. The player seemed arrogant the way he fought. That was one of the downfalls of getting powerful and unique skills. People thought they were so great when it was really just the skill that did it. If he had a normal sword skill he'd be no better than the rest of them. Itzal knew it was his turn to strike, despite his pathetic damage output as a scout. He charged at the boss and released Meteor strike, dealing a grand total of thirty damage. He retreated back beside Jonathan. "Remind me to talk to you about the new guy after this is over, k?" Tesseleth the Tyrant 2 Posted December 4, 2017 Author #93 Share Posted December 4, 2017 As piercing red eyes laid upon the second group that would make their approach to gargantuan, his teeth would bare in a sort of taunting laugh. One of them would surely make nice snack to get him through the rest of this fight, before wiping out the rest of them. The first player of the group to charge in, the blonde haired swordsman. His movements were quick, hoping to get a hit on the Tyrant before he took notice. However, the dragon's eyes locked on the man, before his large spiked tail came whipping around the side of his body to bat the fly away from him, throwing off his attack. Following soon after, the unarmed fighter of the group went to attack. Tesseleth would merely chuckle, what could a puny man's fists do to hurt his thick scales. What Tesseleth was not expecting, however, was for a combined force of electricity and ice to overtake him. The boss felt all of his muscles tense up, yet again, while his scaled began to freeze over. He could only growl as he tried to move, but was met with the extreme force of his unarmed attack, as well as the following players swords as well. The dragon seemed to rumble after the groups attacks had finished, before letting hot fire seep from the corners of his mouth. The ice on his scaled began to turn to water and melt, eventually letting the dragon break free, as he extended his wings to their fullest, and let out a vicious roar. Macradon 0 Posted December 4, 2017 #94 Share Posted December 4, 2017 (edited) Slowly chipping away slivers of the giant dragon’s health, Macradon would see the 3 parties wither down the healthbars to what seemed to be half the maximum health of the great dragon. This meant that they were half way of defeating the first tier 3 boss. Quickly getting a look around before the second party would finish off their rotation, Macradon would notice the last 2 frozen knights, ready to fight at any moment. He had not fully noticed when the first knight was released, but if it did occur at the right time, he’d have a slight grasp on when and why the knights would come forth. With Itzal dealing the last strike in the second party’s rotation, Macradon would quickly get into position and angle himself to go in for a straight simple heavy attack. Lowering his guard to a lower guard, Macradon would begin to sprint towards the dragon as his sword began to emit a bright light, coating his entire sword. Making a skip up into the air, Macradon’s body would be guided by the Cardinal system, swinging his sword for him, cleaving straight down into the body of the dragon, dealing a small amount of damage, closing in on the halfway mark. "We're getting close to half!" he said out loud, hoping it would spark enough hope for everyone to keep on pushing their limits. Calrex 0 Posted December 5, 2017 #95 Share Posted December 5, 2017 <<Rampart>> Activated (8 Energy Used / 136 Remaining) Rampart: Reduce final damage by 25% His third teammates' words sunk into his mind as the bluenette felt his lips purse upon hearing the young man's reply. However, it was not out of fear for himself, but of concern for what may come in the future. The sentence wasn't a threat, but made more like a promise, a promise that Calrex figured would potentially lead to the unnecessary deaths of more people before the man fell. It was likely the reason why he saw the hesitation and held back aggression from Jomei before the raid commenced, "One thing's for sure, this guy is no Zelrius. He may sport some form of elitism, but his presence here is one of a hesitant volunteer, rather than Zel's actual participation. If it came down to it I'm pretty sure he would have no qualms with leaving us high and dry. It just might be that if things don't change I'll likely have to face him sooner or later, and with the changes Achilles has gone through since Tristan wielded it it'll likely still be a close fight. However, whatever he has in raw power I do make up for in experience...in any case this is no time to be thinking of that. First tackle what is in front of me." Hearing Macradon's alert the Ultramarine Knight gave a nod of acknowledgement before giving a quick comment to the supposed new "Hero of Aincrad," even if it was a title by skill association only, "I'd be careful with those kinds of promises, they tend to come true sooner and never in the way you want them to. Both this game and the real world has a knack of taking such things and throwing them right in the speaker's face." Stepping in front of his teammates Calrex slid the Grand Blade III back into it's build-in sheath within the Grand Guard III as the massive shield began to radiate a pulsing blue aura, the signifier that his <<Rampart>> mod was at full charge. With a single punch-like thrust he impaled the tip into the earth beneath him, a projected barrier now hovering a few inches in front of him, while large enough to form a partial sphere, "Putting up another Safeguard potion right now would only serve to spare me from the dragon's attack, but if there's a chance that more of the knights are going to spawn soon, it's likely they will attack right when they are free." Death_Adder 1 Posted December 8, 2017 #96 Share Posted December 8, 2017 Seiichi turned to look at Calrex, who had passively redirected the man's threat right back at him. "And who is going to make sure that happens? You? Ultramarine Knight?" Seiichi said, using a mocking tone to speak Calrex's title. Without any other words, the man turned to the obsidian dragon who stood in their path, brandishing his two weapons and spinning them at his sides, "Neither of those are going to happen with this beast still in out way." he said with a malicious smirk before breaking off in a sprint at Tesseleth. Before the dragon had a chance to even react to the dual wielding man whom dealt most of the damage to him already, his swords were sinking past its rough scales, taking down another chunk of the boss' health, now leaving him a bit under the half way mark. "And ladies and gentlemen, thats how its done." the man said, under his breath, mocking the weak attacks his fellow players had thrown at the dragon so far. Tesseleth the Tyrant 2 Posted December 8, 2017 Author #97 Share Posted December 8, 2017 2 Dragon Knights have awoken. Tesseleth attacks Group 3 and then retreats to perch until next turn. With the last member of the third group digging his swords deep into the armored skin of the mighty dragon, Tesseleth stumbled backwards and rose to its hind legs, letting out a shrilling, pained shriek. The entire cavern shook, knocking some players off of their feet, while throwing the more dextrous players off balance. Two of the large health bars that floated in front of the boss had been depleted, meaning the players had reached the halfway mark with the boss. ...And that was as far as they would get... Tesseleth landed on all fours again, immediately spinning around and whipping Calrex with his spiked tail. Despite the blue shield that absorbed most of the damage of the attack, it was still enough to send the man's shielded body back. With another loud, piercing wail, the crystals that encased two more of the knights that scattered about the cavern seemed to break apart and shatter, bringing another two of his faithful followers to life. Leaving the minions to deal with the players, Tesseleth's large wings spread out to the side, flapping them and lifting into the air to take place on his perch yet again, smoke beginning to ooze from the corners of his mouth. The first of the awoken dragon knights had his eyes locked on Macradon, as he lowered his shoulder and entered a bull rush. Its shoulder collided with the man, sending what felt like a jolt of electricity through his body. The knight then followed up with a powerful swing of his blade, knocking the now stunned warrior off of his feet. The second of the obsidian warriors took a stand aside its comrade and conjured up a whirlwind with his mighty blade, sending the shockwave hurdling towards all three players of the third group, dealing another chunk of damage to each. Shield 0 Posted December 8, 2017 #98 Share Posted December 8, 2017 (edited) The fight was getting nastier, and with new enemies on the field every time the boss lost a health bar, Shield did not have time to delay. He flicked his wrist and his little bush viper familiar poked he head out of his sleeve. She tested the air of the cavern with her tongue, turning her slitted eyes up to Shield. "Now, Lilith," he hissed to the serpent. Obediently, the serpent unhinged her little jaw and sank her fangs into Shield's wrist, injecting him with her hypodermic healing. His health bar replenished, along with his own natural regeneration, back almost to full. He had a feeling he would need it. "Right." With that, the snake familiar vanished back into his garment, and he leveled his eyes at the dragon knights. He took a few slow, intentional steps, driving his heels into the hard stone of the floor as he filled his lungs to capacity. He felt his ribs straining with the pressure inside of them, and with a tightening of his core, he pressurized the air, unleashing it in a wave of sound. "Come and taste the pain of my thorns, lackeys!" he belted in a deafening <Howl>, kicking up moisture from the pools of nearby water and spattering the knights with condensation. "Do your worst!" He lowered himself into a guarded stance, his shield blocking all but his feet, eyes and the top of his head from view as he stared down the armored sentinels. Zandra 0 Posted December 8, 2017 #99 Share Posted December 8, 2017 (edited) As soon as Zandra had delivered a hard hitting blow on the dragon, she turned around. She had been sure that Ariel would attack together with her. The Lioness and Dragoness, side by side to take down the enemy. But there have been no one there. Ariel didn’t do nothing. The axewoman walked up to her while she kept eyecontact. Well, from her side at least. ‘’Ariel! What are you doing?’’ she said without even the slightliest response. ‘’Come on, whatever it is, snap out of it!’’ when she still not got any answer Zandra took a steady grip of her shoulders and roughly shocked the tailor. ‘’What is happening to you? Wake up! Don’t leave me alone with these people.’’ Zandra kept on shouting. But still, nothing. Zandra got deperate and didn’t knew what she would do. That was when she got abrupted by wings flapping. Glanced over her shoulder and saw the dragon had retreated once more and two knights have appeared. It also seemed to be their turn now. ‘’See, two new enemies. Lets wipe them out!’’ Zandra said, took a steady grip of her axe and started running towards the new threat. She had to take care of Ariel later. Zandra picked up speed towards the two dragon knights and her troubled face got replaced with a smile. ‘’Zita!’’ she shouted as she activated her charge skilled and doubled the speed. Thou that was nothing compared to the arrival of a new threat, a threat to the dragon knights. From the roof of the boss room was herd a loud cry as a kingseagle dived towards the dragon knight in high over 100km/h. In just a second it had landed on the first knight, digged her claws thru the armour and into the flesh, dealing damage to the creature. Before it could react, the feathered predator had, in bare moments, flewed over to the other target and pecked its eyes with her knifesharp beak. ‘’Nice work!’’ Zandra said as she just arrived to her familiar and activated the most powerful aoe attack in this death game. The mighty axe swung in circles, cutting thru the knights and leaving deep red stripes. From only a single attack, the eagle and dragoness had reduced the knights health by a third. ‘’Its now we move back Zita.’’ She said to the eagle and disengaged the two knights, one by foot and the other rode the wind. As Zandra was closer to Shield looked at the tank. She had done some quick calcultaions and saw her energy was dropping at an alarming rate. She started with most energy in the party, hv only did half as many attacks as the other two damage delaers in her group, but still they was at the same energy amount left. ‘’Hey Shield, do you have some of that energy to spare? It feels like it soon going to be needed.’’ She said as she did remembered their hunt for the boss room and how useful it have been to not run out of energy. Jomei 0 Posted December 8, 2017 #100 Share Posted December 8, 2017 With two of its health bars now gone, Tesseleth seemed to up the ante for the fight. Not only had another two knights, who were once encased in crystal, join the battle and deal damage to all members of the third party, but Tesseleth himself managed to land a nasty hit on Calrex. Jomei's blood ran cold at the sight on the small party being attacked as such, even though their armor could handle it. Even Death Adder, who was proving to be a useful asset to this fight, he did not want to see perish so soon.. at least while there was still a boss to fight. After dealing his damage, the dragon retreated to the safety of his perch yet again, watching the players and catching his breath, while preparing to strike his group. Jomei gulped hard as his focus returned to the dragon knights who stood in their way. Shield did what he did best and got the attention off of them with his Howl skill, while Zandra dealt massive damage to both of the knights with a mighty swing. As the man passed her, he smirked at the woman. "Hell of a hit, great job." he said to her, activating his own Charge skill and jumping into the fray. His shoulder collided with the second of the knights, knocking him off balance and setting him up for a devastating combo with his rapier. The attack may not have done as much damage as the berserk healer, but it still put a dent in his armor. The man turned to look at Ariel, the one who had struck down his best friend in a duel and scowled, "Zan! If you don't want Ariel to die, get her to do something already! Or else this dragon is just gonna make a joke out of her!"
