Life in England

Irene Thomson, a young medical student studying in Japan at the Aichi Medical University. Japanese culture was a fascination she had, ever since she was a fan girl of manga and anime. Late nights with her friends were wasted away, hours at a time, as they binge watched series, movie or comic they could find. The clique she belonged to wasn't obvious, her crimson waves stuck her out among the crowds for compliments and insults alike. Her winning attitude however was what won so many over among those hormonal halls. Irene Thomson's great grandparents moved over from Ireland during the great potato famine, a key ancestral element to her DNA. A few years down, her mother however married into the family of an English man who brought her back to England where she was born and raised. Hardship and friendship both rocked the world of Irene, her recent friend group introducing her to the life of mmorpg's. She was awful to be put politely, though the simple fact she was a female often helped the male gamer's to disregard that failure. It was also here where she believed to find her love of her life, Arthur.

Life in Japan

The world only grew more complicated as she matured through the final years of high school, dreams and emotions merging into complex fantasies as she fretted about college. Arthur was flying over seas to become an architecture in America, and her own parents urged her to discover her own passion. Nearing the start up of College she had decided though, she moved to Japan with next to know scholarships to attend a medical university where she was praying to become a neurosurgeon. With the gag reflex of a cat and the wisdom of an owl, medical was an interesting time Her first year was completed after countless accounts of unpleasant smells and sights. After the third of fourth week of dissecting a corpse though, one manages to find themselves with a new strength in their ability to deal with putrid smells. After the first few months she discovered a new group of friends who had been engrossed with the new technology, featuring the brand new virtual reality games that were to come. SAO was bought by her friend who urged her to try it first on her behalf, not knowing the end results.

Virtues:

• Dedicated: Irene naturally was raised to honor and obey her parents, thus bringing out a dedication that is usually lacking in the normal child. The thirst for knowledge and hobbies had always driven her to larger goals and her ability to focus wholeheartedly upon that subject is her gift. Academia is not the only field that this characteristic parallels as she also used it was also a drive while taking a self defense course in Japan where she found herself back against the ground hundred's of times due to her sensei's teaching.
• Energetic: The use of caffeine hardly can compare to the natural energy which Irene possess the moment she leaps out from her comfortable bed. Starting at five o'clock sharp, Irene has already dressed and started her ten mile run. This routine is a means to set her up for success as she then takes a soothing half hour bath to be fully prepared to start off her day.
• Adaptable: Different circumstances always can be handled through different means, Irene often takes the great interest in exploring those paths. While in high school, her first day at a preppy English private school she developed a way of life. "The only person who can crush one's dream is themselves." The world will keep spinning and the clock keeps ticking so a single hesitation in one's life can cause an unwanted mark upon their social status. Irene hated the idea of inequality between friends thus developing trust and harnessing truth above all which is all people really need to here.

Flaws:

• Dishonest: Irene's general demeanor does not scream out, deceptive and in her heart she tends to hate lying to others despite the regularity she partakes in it. The majority of the populous take Irene at face value when she says something even if it's untrue. On more then one occasion Irene lied to protect those closest friends which she cherished, most lives however are changed for the better from her simple white lies including Arthur who she admitted to have lost all feelings for through their last chat.
• Liability: A side affect of Irene's dedication is her ability to fail when under enormous strain, in school she had always gotten good grades through her own effort though she didn't pass every project. An honest mistake for Irene she shoulders far to much of the burden to an extent that she is known to burn herself out. Her exhaustion is always a physical drain upon herself as she tends to work till she legit passes out from fatigue or dehydration. The irony being her wish to take care of others, at the expense of her own well-fair.
• Yokelish : An egg head in school, Irene has always lacked a certain grace to her movements losing her footing or handle over fragile loads. In science class, Irene once caused a chain reaction that implemented the domino affect of beakers shattering across the ground, her parents paying a fairly large fee for the expense. Her ability to destroy private property is only unmatched by the number of bones she broke or sprains she got. Irene had gone through a fair number of casts that kept one or the other of her arms in place forcing her to be ambidextrous.
