While traversing the uneven ground of a high mountain. Kimi stumbled upon a hut made of wood and stone. "Hopefully whoever lives here can let me rest for a bit." she said to herself as she stretched letting out a satisfying sigh. Just ass she approached the hut a NPC walked out and took notice of her. "Are you here for the «Breaking the Unbreakable» quest?" The NPC asked while taking his hat off. "Ohh there's a quest all the way up here?" Kimi said to herself surprised.

"Well if you are, it's best you have some help because i need breaking this" The NPC said while gesturing to follow him. He took Kimi to a 2 meter-high rock with a diameter of about 1.5 meters. She stood astonished at what the NPC brought her to and said "WAIT, WHAT!!! You need help breaking that!" The NPC reveals that the player must split the rock into two using only their fists and then proceeds to paint whiskers with quick-drying paint on the player’s face, claiming that the whiskers cannot be removed until the rock is split.

"I did say its best you get help." the NPC said with his arms crossed. As the NPC said that only one person came to mind, and it was of a friend of hers that she met in the beginner floor. Kimi decided to send a message asking for help "Hey, it's me, do you want to help me with a quest?" Now all she has to do is wait for a reply.

"Hey it's me, do you want to help me with a quest?"

While wandering the streets of urbus, a message came flying out of nowhere right at Kaya. She's never received one before so at first, she was taken aback by it, but as she read through it, she realizes it's from Kimi. "Oh! A quest huh?" Last she had heard from Kimi, she was already in the 2nd floor. I wonder if she's talking about the «Breaking the Unbreakable» quest. Without another hesitation, Kaya began making her way up the mountain and to the familiar hut. On the way, she complained about every from the distance of this quest to just how annoyingly monotonous this quest is.

As she reaches the top, she quickly spots Kimi. "Oh so you did mean this quest! Good thing I came, yeah sure I'll help." She quickly gave Kimi a grin as she flicks her fingers in the air, opening her inventory, and changing equipment.

Kimi was excited to see that Kaya had time to help her. She couldn't express her gratitude for having Kaya make time for her. "You made it just in time!" Kimi said while getting up off the ground. "So how do we break this thing?" Kimi asked the NPC looking frustrated. 

The NPC simply said "You punch it." 

Kimi was dumbfounded at how simple, but annoying this quest sounds. She knew this would take some time, especially since they can't use weapons. The quest however was not unheard of and all of what she seen so far was in expectation. She was doing this more so for the reward than anything else. "Why would someone do this for fun?" She thought to herself. As she began readying herself to punch it, but more so for the pain she'll feel in her hands. She took a awkward position, curled her hand into a fist, and gave the boulder all she had. As her fist made contact she thought it would send a sharp pain throughout her arm, but she didn't feel anything. "Whew... Thank the gods we don't feel pain in here." She sighed as she knelt down holding her fist. "Here you give it a try." She said look up at Kaya.

Kaya watched as Kimi punch the rock with all her might. Unfortunately  didn't do a lot of damage to it. The rougette then stepped up to the plate. She rotates her shoulders and neck to try to loosen her body - like it would've done anything. Kaya pulls on her gloves to tighten them some more before clenching her fist into a ball. For a few moments, Kaya breathed slowly. She eyed the rock as if it just took her family and she's there to get them back. As a wind blows by, she begins to rush the rock. Before she knew it, she was high in the air, her left leg extended in front of her. Within seconds, she smacks into the rock like a flying comet hitting the earth. Soon after, cracks began to spurt from the point the rougette hit. As Kaya lands back on her feet, she looks to Kimi and gives her a victory sign. "Hehehehe your turn." A grin plastered on her face. She knew for sure she did some damage on the rock.

Kimi was caught off guard at how strong Kaya is. While Kimi was on the floor she tried to assess the situation as if there was a better way to perform this menial almost degrading task. Kimi got off the ground and patted herself down and stretched a little bit just as Kaya did before she did all that damage. She knew imitating won't do much good, but if it proves to have a difference than it was all worth it. From what she could gather, she remembered that if you punch with all your force at the beginning it wont do much since you're tense. She learned a bit of fighting in real life from her brothers she. 

Kimi stood back a bit relaxed and gave a few small hops just to loosen her up. She placed her fist gently on her cheek and let out a small breaths while still hopping. For a split second Kimi felt a rush of adrenaline and let out her punch on the exact same spot Kaya hit. This dealt a considerable amount and more than her last one.

Kaya rotated her neck some more as she prepared for her second round with the rock. She cracks her knuckles as she clenches her fist. After making some distance, Kaya begins to rush the rock. Unfortunately this time, Kaya trips over a rock. Her face flew forward straight towards the rock. In one big thud, Kaya's face kissed the rock. A shock ran across her body hitting her very bones before finally landing on the ground. "Ow ow ow ow ow!" Kaya rolled over to her back as she held her face. Normally we don't feel pain, but I guess you could say there are some bugs in the system. That said, Kaya rubbed her eyes as tear began to fall a little bit. "Man that really hurt... ugh... Your turn I guess Kimi..." Kaya dragged her body to a nearby tree to relax just a little bit. She kept rubbing her face as if the pain would go away that way.

Kimi couldn't help but giggle a little bit before helping Kaya. After seeing that magnificent display she dismissed the thought of running towards the rock. Rather than that she would plant her feet, take a stance, and strike. Just like before Kimi began to stretch, but this time with more confidence in her skill. She took another look at Kaya to see hows shes doing, but Kaya looked as if nothing happened already probably trying to play off that embarrassing scene earlier. Before she began getting serious she examined the cracks on the rock. Then she proceeded to take her stance and hit the rock. This time around it wasn't a considerable amount of damage, but damage none the less. Then Kimi thought of something that could work for better or worse and looked towards Kaya. "Kaya!" Kimi call out to her "I think you might have actually done damage on that last one." Kimi just wanted to play a joke on Kaya feel better. Kimi took a few steps back to take another look at the rock. "At least you can see some progress. Sooner or later it's ought to break." she said as making her way to Kaya "Your turn."

Kaya watched as Kimi punched the cracks of the rock, only to do a little bit of damage. Soon after, the noirette walked towards Kaya. She tried cracking a joke at Kaya, but much like their progress so far on the rock, it did minimal damage. She looked at Kimi with a scowl of disappointment and walked towards the rock. This time, no more running at it. No warmups or anything. She took a step forward and reeled her fist backwards. In fell swoop she swung it forward smacking the rock with all her might. The cracks made earlier began to spread throughout the rock some more. With a slight grin, she looks to Kimi, "heh.. progress."

Kaya still wasn't having any of it. She was still bummed she ran face first into the rock. I mean, this wasn't a new thing, but that was the first time that actually hurt. She kicks a nearby rock as she mumbles to herself and sits next to a tree, waiting for Kimi's turn. "stupid bug."

Seeing how Kaya kept dealing massive damage to the rock. Kimi wanted to change her way of attacking this rock. This time she wanted to try kicking it. Unlike punching it, kicking should hold more noticeable results. Having Kaya along she was beginning to turn this quest into more of a competition. As she stretched once again, but this time she was focusing more on her legs. She slowly raised her leg above her head while standing like shes done before plenty of times. Kimi has always considered herself quite flexible. She felt a odd presence as she held her leg above her head, so she dropped it and went into a full guard. Looking at where the presence came from, it was emanating from Kaya, but this was probably her imagination so she dismissed it. 

Kimi this took a different stance now. Instead of having a boxers stance with their hands up to their face she had them at chest level. Once again she let out short quick breaths. The difference now is that instead of winding up her first, she brought up her leg and dropped it to where the crack was. The crack spread far down this time rather than centered on the middle. Kimi stepped to the side to check on her boot as she waited for Kaya to take her turn.

Kaya closed her eyes as she rolled her neck and shoulders once more. The pain from her latest debacle had finally passed. Time to finally get back to work. That said, she slowly opened her eyes. Her beaming verdant green eyes gazed over the resilient rock. Kaya breathed out before breathing back in and tightly clenching her fist. She breathed out once more as she focused everything into her fist. She had to make this go faster. She can do this all day. It's just boring. That said, she breathed in once more before beginning to walk to the rock. She wasn't going to rush it or anything, but it was going to break. A few feet away from the boulder, she stops. She takes one more deep breathe in before finally stepping forward and punching the rock. With a loud thud and loud "HHAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Crack began to spread some more on the rock. "Damnit... I was hoping that would work." Dissatisfied with the results, she walked back to her spot under the tree, looking down at the ground in disappointment.

Slowly the pair started making some "real" progress. What seemed impossible earlier began showing tons of progress. "I guess we're about halfway done." Kimi said looking back at Kaya. As she walked up to the rock hands on her hip. Kimi couldn't help, but let out a satisfying sigh and started grinning. She rolled her shoulders and neck trying to loosen up once again for this tedious and boring talks ahead of her. She started to think if there really wasn't any other way to do this, but regardless it had to be done. Kimi set up her stance once again listening to the beat of her heart for the perfect chance to strike. Another singular moment in a split second told her to strike and without skipping a beat she took this sign... "PAK!" just like her dynamic duo, Kimi's face pummeled the rock at such force she really felt physical pain along side the emotional. If only Kimi was alone she could live with herself. After being so confident in her skill. She felt as if hope has abandoned her, but one thing was worse than that. It was standing behind her, The incoming laughter and embarrassment. The only thing she knew she can prepare for without fail, is baring the incoming laughter.

"Yep, almost there," as she kept stretching her body while watching Kimi's attempts at the rock. It wasn't really entertaining of anything, but she wanted to see their progress so far. That was until Kimi's fateful moment, when she joins Kaya in the book of wipeouts. This wasn't just a simple wipeout, but a face plant that can be felt by everyone in the surrounding. Infact, it was worse that Kaya's initial face plant. It was as if Kimi was intentionally trying to outclass Kaya. But from Kaya could see, that wasn't really the case.

Kaya fell to the ground laughing hysterically. The site was stupendous. Normally Kaya herself would be in that situation, but for once she wasn't. She rolled on the ground gasping for breathe. Moments later, she finally calms down a bit and looks to Kimi. "Hurts don't it?" Kaya joked, cause she knew the pain all too well. "Anyways go rest up. I got this." She says as she cracks her knuckles. Suddenly, she swings her fist. The impact began to shatter the rock a bit. "Almost there." She thought as she looked at her fist.

As Kimi was resting a bit from both the physical pain and emotional. She took out a pair of deadly looking handwraps she gotten earlier and equipped it. Along side it was a ring she she put on that made things clearer for her in battle. From here on out Kimi decided she wasn't going to be messing around, especially how that she embarrassed herself that bad. She wanted to give herself a feel for her new handwraps and started punching the air. She felt as if she needed just a few minutes to get ready because the pain on her face was still there. "Kaya can you go another round with that rock for me. I'm still hurt over here..." Kimi said. As embarrassing as it was, she still felt her face stinging and burning from that faceplant. Kimi couldn't wait to get to try out her new handwraps. She was saving the chance to use them against a real enemy so the rock never crossed her mind. Using them now however is fine with her not only because of what happened earlier, but because that trying to break this rock is taking too long.

Kaya watched as her partner began to put on handwraps on  her hands. Off all the things, why now? She couldn't put those on earlier? This would've been a little easier had she started using them. That said, she had to get the thought out of her mind. With a grimace look about her, she questioned the noirette, "You couldn't put those on earlier? Would've helped a lot, ya know." As her words trailed off, she turned back to face the rock. She then began charging at the rock, but only to stop short and miss the rock entirely. She wasn't really able to concentrate since her mind was still on the fact that Kimi hadn't put those gloves on earlier. she turned back around with a still grimace look about her - completely ignoring the fact that she missed, "Seriously... Those gloves could've helped a lot." Kaya walked back to her little resting place under a tree as she looked to Kimi as she tested out her new handwraps.

"Yeah, it would've helped, but i was saving it for a real battle." Kimi said playfully. "Anyways lets give this a shot, yeah?". Kimi made her way back to the rock to finish what they started. Nothing came to her mind as she approached it. The cracks were still the same as earlier when she "got a close look" at it. She felt bad that she kept Kaya waiting on the fact she wasn't using her wraps earlier. She told herself she wouldn't mess up that bad again. As she took a deep breath trying to recollect her thoughts and forget the earlier mistake. She felt a great disappointed feeling coming from within her. She never like making mistakes and could never let go of them well. As she excused the depressing thought that came over her. She took her stance and hit the rock once again. There wasn't much force behind her hit this time around, but a hit none the less.

Kaya sat under her tree as she watched over Kimi's attempt at the rock. It wasn't really much, but it did more than before. She didn't notice it, as it was slight, but as Kimi walked away, slight cracks began to spread some more from her punching point. "How's it feel?" Kaya questioned Kimi as she tested out her new weapon. It was her first weapon and this was probably a good test for it especially since after this, she'll unlock the martial arts skill - which'll give her a big boost. 

As Kimi walked away, Kaya went up for her turn. They were finally getting closer and closer to the end of this shenanigans. As they got closer, Kaya grew more impatient. Finally not being able to hold herself back anymore, Kaya rushed the rock hoping to pull off a miracle. With a quick push, she cracks the rock some more, but sadly it wasn't enough. "So close..."

Kimi really felt as if her hit was stronger than before, but still the rock wasn't broken. Now though she felt as if she was on par with Kaya so she didn't felt left behind. With this in mind Kimi felt a bit of relief as she knew she can now put in more work on the rock. She could almost taste the end of this horrifyingly boring quest. Sadly though now isn't the time to celebrate. The two of them still have a rock that needs some smashing. Kimi got a closer inspection of what lay before her and she noticed the rock is almost going to give way. As Kimi approached once again, she wanted to give her best at hitting this rock. When Kimi took another shot at the rock the cracks on it were becoming more define. "Ahh! Close i thought it would've broken that time" Kimi said looking at Kaya. "Here, give it a shot it aught to break soon." Soon the rock will break and the two won't touch this rock again... hopefully.

Kimi was finally pulling her weight in this whole monotonous quest. It now doesn't feel like it's just the rougette doing all the work. "Finally pulling your weight huh?" Kaya questioned the noirette jokingly as she began to step up to the plate. She didn't want to miss it like before. Kaya focused on her fist, then the rock. Then back to her fist again, then once more, the rock. She then took steps forward. This time, her eyes stayed focused on the rock. Soon after, her steps forward turned to running. Then to Kaya leaping into the air. She swings her arms, but sadly it was too short, but Kaya didn't want to end it there. No, she had to hit it. She focused all her strength to her feet which she flipped and turned her attack into a kick from above. It was a sight to behold really. It was like she meant to do that - she didn't.

Feeling more and more excited with how close Kimi is to finished this quest. She just couldn't keep herself wanting to just give her next hit all of the left over energy she has. As she brushed off some dirt and dust that covered her fist from constant hitting. She felt as if this was the last time she will need to see the rock. She began stretching once again. Rotating her neck and shoulders making sure not to miss a spot that might jeopardize the strength that goes into her last hit. While she stood there taking in the breeze and the sunlight Kimi felt a feeling of ecstasy. As if nothing else mattered in the world. Kimi couldn't tell if this was a good sign or bad, but regardless she briskly walked back to the rock and took her stance. Though Kimi already had her stance, something still felt a bit off. So she decided to take a few steps back as to get a good running start.

"Now's the time!" she thought as she began sprinting towards the rock. Everything was so clear to her now, but as soon as she made it to striking distance of the rock. Kimi slid and a crisp solid "SMACK" could be heard echoing throughout the mountain. She was on the ground bawling her eyes out. Out of all the things that were to happen today. She did not expect to faceplant once again into the rock. Kimi did a little too good of a job at making sure nothing was to get in her way she left loose sand and dust beneath her and on the way to the rock making her slip. No words could express what Kimi was feeling at the moment.

Kaya watched as Kimi faceplanted once more on the rock. She really was trying to out faceplant Kaya. "You okay?" Kaya was somewhat worried. That last one seemed really painful. As soon as she realizes that Kimi seemed somewhat okay, she joked around with a quick, "How's your face?" She didn't really mean it, but she just couldn't help it. "Really found that rock, 'smashing', ey?" Kaya just couldn't really hold the laughter, but she had hoped the jokes would ease the mood a bit. "Anyways, leave this to me. I'll end it here." She said confidently as she looked off into the distance and at the boulder. Cracks covered it's shell, but it wasn't giving in just yet. Looking at the above health bar, she can clearly see it's almost done. 

Kaya glared at the rock before suddenly bursting into a run. By the end of the run, she swings her first straight into the boulder. Cracks started spreading as if it's about to break, but to the surprise of Kaya, it was still alive. "Damn... Looks like you get to end it, Kimi."
