[PP-F21] Hot Springs Gone Wrong (Telrenya)

Grasping Telrenya's hand loosely in his own, Jomei walked with the woman by his side up the incline of the tunnel. Jomei could heard the sounds from the city on the outside of the cavern, a wave of relief washing away all of his worries about getting Telrenya back there safely. The two continued in silence, yet a satisfied smile sat on Jomei's face. Eventually, Jomei heard the blonde speak up, starting off with how today did not exactly go as Jomei had planned. Turning his chin slightly to look at her in wonder, his olive green eyes meeting with hers, immediately feeling that fluttering feeling that he always did when their eyes met. The volume of her voice dropped a bit, as if her shyness had gotten to her again, yet spoke her heart and mind, telling Jomei that she had enjoyed today for what it was, and that was merely because the two of them spent it together. Jomei's cheeks flushed red as his eyes opened wider for a moment, only to be closed slightly by his lower lids, as his cheeks rose from the bright smile that grew.

Jomei let go of Telrenya's hand for a moment, letting her take another step up the incline, so she stood more at his level. Jomei still wore the same, bashful smile on his face as he stepped closer. "You're adorable" he said with a chuckle, placing a hand on her cheek and leaning his head in to kiss her one on the lips. "and I love you." Keeping his face close to hers, and looking into her eyes, his thumb gently caressed the skin of her cheek before falling back to his side, taking her hand once again. Jomei smirked and gave the woman a sidelong glance, "Yeah me too. Next time I won't stick my neck into business that'll get us in trouble." he said, rubbing the nape of his neck with his free hand. His cheeks flushed red again as he was lost in thought, eventually speaking his mind after a short moment, "Hopefully next time we get a bit more privacy." his tone was lower, as some of his own shyness took over.

As the two finally reached the mouth of the tunnel, they were exactly where they had hoped, right across from Tomoiko. Jomei let out a heavy sigh of relief, "Finally.. and i don't see any of those cultists in sight." Jomei looked over to Telrenya with a bright grin, giving the girl's hand a small squeeze. With her by his side, they walked back through the town to the stone platform that housed the blue ring players used to teleport from Floor to Floor. For a moment, Jomei almost offered to walk Telrenya back to her shop.. Force of habit. The man smiled warmly and looked to the woman at his side, "Lets go home."

With a light blush still resting across her cheeks, Telrenya turned with a touch of surprise in her expression after Jomei had stopped behind her. The color in her face only deepened with his few words, and she felt her heart flutter happily inside of her chest when their lips met. Even such a short and simple exchange between the two lovers filled her with warmth, and the smile that stretched across her face after they had parted did well to reflect that feeling. When his hand dropped and returned to find hers she returned his hold tightly at first, as if to affirm that she wanted to keep the man by her side for as long as she could manage. With her feelings of adoration plentiful, she let out a small giggle at Jomei's mention of having a bit more privacy on their next visit to the hot springs, giving a small, shy nod in agreement.

Telrenya perked up when the mining town came fully in sight, giving a breathy response after they made note of the lack of crazed cultist NPCs. "Thank goodness." She chuckled. When they reached the center of town and the couple paused for a moment, she turned to look up at Jomei. Another few, simple words from the Irishman caused a loving smile to match his own warm expression, and she gave another, more enthusiastic nod, "Mm, yeah!"
