Ayami's First Battle

Ayami steadied herself as she looked out the gate from the town of beginnings. It was time to leave to the safety of the town of beginnings and find out for herself whether or not she was capable enough to handle herself. She knew this was not a game but did not question that she must do this on her own. All in all she felt prepared enough with the armor and equipment she had. Hopefully it would prove itself worthy. She touched the lucky feather she had on attached to the end of her spear and said a little phrase that she had been whispering to herself since she arrived in Aincrad. "I am powerful and I worthy of those around me." Her tension drained from her shoulders and neck as she looked back up outside the town of beginnings. The time had finally come. No turning back now.
