Mint 0 Posted February 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2018 (edited) P R O F I L EUsername: Mint Real name: Aris Adair Age: 16 Gender: Male Height: 5'4"Bonus: Set D 'Support Package' Profession: N/A I N F O R M A T I O NHISTORY Aris Adair, youngest child of three as well as the most annoying baby, was born to a middle-class family living humbly in a surprisingly spacious home situated in a small town. Their residence was the perfect place for Aris and his two older sisters to grow up, their parents and grandparents spending plenty of time with them and even spoiling them just a little. During his first dozen years, Aris didn't have to face many issues at all. He had plenty of friends, plenty of toys and plenty of free time, though he sadly did struggle quite a bit with school. His grades were below average right from the start, but he did quickly discover an aptitude for drawing, something that he thoroughly enjoyed. It wasn't until his teens that video games started playing a role in his life. Playing all kinds of games outside with his friends slowly but surely was mostly replaced by the virtual world, Aris finding the internet and RPG games much more intriguing than aimlessly kicking a ball around or playing hide and seek. Once he hit the age of 13, playing games became an almost daily activity despite his parents' active attempts to prevent an addiction from occurring. Luckily for them and sadly for him, Aris ended up having to spend a lot of time on school to achieve average grade, regularly filling his days with almost constant studying. It made life incredibly boring, but it would eventually be worth it (hopefully). Although having his nose dug deep in large dusty books made him almost forget the joys of life, Aris's liking of RPG games didn't disappear. He still actively kept an eye out to see if any new creations were put on the market, SAO quite quickly grabbing his interest. The game almost seemed to good to be true, and Aris knew he would have to get it. Months of saving eventually lead up to enough money for him to buy all necessary items, a free ticket for imprisonment secretly being added to his purchase. Excitement quickly turned into despair as he, amongst many others, realized the truth of the situation. It was very painful, especially painful for someone as young as Aris. This is why he stayed safe in the unlocked cities, not really doing anything useful for an extended amount of time while he relied on others. Soon, however, this will change. VIRTUESSociable: There are many things that Aris is simply not good at, but he most definitely knows his way around words. He has no trouble talking to a stranger, acquaintance or friend, their position of power/wealth etc. not having much influence on him. He's not afraid of asking for help or engaging in a conversation, seemingly having a natural talent for talking. Being sociable has been his main tool for survival for a very long time, so it's needless to say that Aris values this skill greatly. Hardworking: Though he does have lazy moods once in a while, Aris will work hard to achieve his goals. He won't slack off the moment he gets bored or loses hope, only quitting when he's certain he will not succeed. This makes Aris quite a productive and passionate individual, aiding him in potential crafting/other tasks Creative: Aris happens to own quite the creative mind, being rather artistic thanks to 'raw talent' and dedication. Having a broad imagination and the ability to quickly form unique ideas mostly helps him when attempting to create some form of art, but can also aid him in regular situations by thinking of different ways of tackling a situation. Creativity is another potential way trait that can aid him in his survival, specifically by perhaps rising the ranks as a crafter. FLAWS Quick-tempered: Behind his seemingly everlasting smile, Aris hides a temper that most people that stick around him get to see eventually. It doesn't take much at all for him to get frustrated, a wrong choice of words being enough to make him lash out surprisingly aggressive. His 'minor' anger issue is often the result of reckless, inconsiderate choices, making it quite the less desirable trait that Aris would love to get rid of. Aris always does his best to keep this flaw hidden as best as he possibly can, knowing that it only causes negative results. Childish: Partially thanks to his short fuse, Aris sometimes happens to come off as a bit childish. Being thrown into the virtual world didn't magically get rid of the occasional "no one understands me" tantrums or being incredibly stubborn for seemingly no good reason. Disobedience and Impatience add to the reasons why he's still often being treated as a child. Aris also has yet to have really seen the dangers of the online world, not taking the situation all too serious while he should really be concerned. The thought of dying in real life when dying in the game also seems rather surreal to him, but he's still cautious just in case. Dependent: Getting stuck in SAO essentially forced all children to quickly grow up, but Aris failed to do so. He is not the smartest, nor the strongest or the most individualistic person around. Frankly, he's pretty weak both mentally and physically. Emotions can quickly turn him into a mess just as much as a low tier mob considering his major lack of experience. In other words: he's not very good at taking care of himself at all, which is why he relies a lot on kindhearted, strong people willing to help him out.I N G A M ESKILLSNon-combat: » Passive: » Combat: » Weapon skills: » One-Handed Warhammer [Rank 1] (5 SP)INVENTORYEquipped: »Starter's flanged mace (Vanity) »Starter's light armour (Vanity) M I S C E L L A N E O U SSpreadsheetRELATIONSHIPS» [Positive/Neutral/Negative] Player name here » [Positive/Neutral/Negative] Player name here Edited February 17, 2018 by Mint
