Dazia 0 Posted April 14, 2018 Author #41 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Vigilon and Lee continued to discuss the whole "back portal" thing, but Vigilon did listen to and, with a realization, agree with Dazia. Benjamin admitted that he didn't know much about how to deal with animals, apparently due to some allergy. Vigilon and Benjamin also seemed worried for Yinangi, hoping she'd be all right. "Well, she ran so fast, I couldn't tell which exact direction she went. Sure, she has decent armor on, but she'd still be in a real pinch if she got swarmed..." Dazia currently didn't really know whether to go after her, or to keep following the path to a potential familiar. Sure, Yinangi may have a decent pair of handwraps as well, but again, if she was to get swarmed... Dazia shook off the thoughts, returning her focus to the search. "She's going to be fine...she's going to be fine... She's strong, and has enough mitigation to make it there and back here alive..." @Vigilon @Benjamin Bookworm @Lee
Vigilon 0 Posted April 17, 2018 #42 Share Posted April 17, 2018 "Heh, when it comes to things like this, we're just left to guess. Then again, since pain would be troublesome in this game, we shouldn't be worrying about it for now." Vigilon didn't know what else to say. He was also still worried about Yinangi. "Do you think I should try going back to town in hopes of finding Yinangi? I just want to make sure she's safe..." He couldn't stand the thought of another innocent child being murdered, by monster or player. He wondered, what was it that Yinangi forgot? Was it a lucky charm, an item, a consumable, or a piece of equipment? Whatever it was, he hoped that it would be retrieved quickly, an that Yinangi would return safely. Ultimately, it would be Dazia's decision, from what he guessed. Veriost hadn't heard the minor commotion, and was still asleep, that is, until the next interesting thing would happen. @Benjamin Bookworm @Lee @Dazia
Benjamin Bookworm 0 Posted April 19, 2018 #43 Share Posted April 19, 2018 Ben walked over to Dazia, trying to reassure her that their friend would be OK. Dazia, she will be fine. She wouldn't have run off like that if she wasn't sure of herself. he said with a warm smile. If you'd like, once she gets back, we can head to the market to pick up a teleport crystal for her. Just in case she runs into some sort of trouble on her own. I figure something like that would be good for peace of mind. Truthfully, he was still a bit worried himself, but was trying not to show it. Dazia had enough on her mind with everyone here, and worrying wouldn't bring Yinangi back any safer. You're right in that she's a tough cookie, and has some good equipment to back her up. She is as safe as any one of us would be out here. Things will be OK. @Lee @Dazia @Vigilon
Dazia 0 Posted June 10, 2018 Author #44 Share Posted June 10, 2018 (OOC: Just got permission from staff to continue thread without the inactive player, @Lee. However, he can jump back in anytime once he's active again.) Vigilon asked if he should try to go and find Yinangi, and Benjamin reassured Dazia that Yinangi would be fine. She breathed in, then out. She was going to say something when she heard some rustling in the bushes. She turned around, hoping it wasn't an aggressive monster. Yinangi came through, saying, "Even I'm surprised there was a shortcut to here." Dazia walked over to Yinangi. "Yinangi...please don't scare us like that again. You might have decent light armor on, but if you were to get swarmed..." Yinangi responded to that with, "Ah, no guarantees, but I'll try not to forget my amulet at the inn next time." She held up the amulet before re-equipping it. It was a simple string necklace, with something white, in a shape similar to...well, it could have been a water drop, but it also could be half of a circle. The white thing that was part of the necklace also had a single gemstone in it, black in color. This made Dazia slightly curious as to what it was resembling, or even the item's name, but she didn't dwell on that. She turned back towards the others. "Well, everyone's here, so I guess we carry on." @Vigilon @Benjamin Bookworm
Vigilon 0 Posted June 15, 2018 #45 Share Posted June 15, 2018 Benjamin reassured Dazia that everything was going to be fine. Vigilon was going to ask once again if he should go out there and make sure Yinangi was okay, but then the bushes started rustling. Yinangi came out, speaking of a shortcut. Vigilon let out a sigh of relief. It was good to know that she was fine, and that she was able to get back safely. Dazia mildly chided Yinangi, saying that she shouldn't scare the players like that again. Turns out, yinangi had merely forgotten her amulet back at the inn. What exactly were they doing while it was daytime? Vigilon could easily guess they were taking a break and resting, otherwise Yinangi would have realized she left her item earlier...right? "Whew, well, glad to know everyone's OK." Dazia decided that the party would carry on, meaning the break in this search was clearly over. "Well then, lead the way." @Benjamin Bookworm @Dazia
Benjamin Bookworm 0 Posted June 19, 2018 #46 Share Posted June 19, 2018 Ben breathed a sigh of relief as Yinangi got back safely. That girl would wander off at the drop of a hat. OK, Yinangi, I'm sure that you'll be careful next time, but remember that we're here to help out as well. I don't like to have anyone wandering off alone if we can help it. This place is way too dangerous for any of us to take that kind of risk. Ben told her, a look of worry crossing over his face as he addressed the little one. He was hoping that the combined concern from Dazia and him would get her to listen, or at least to take the ideas into consideration the next time she was going off to get into some more trouble. But Vigilon's right- we should move on from here- that familiar won't find itself, will it? So we'll follow your lead Dazia. Hopefully all of us together, as a group. @Dazia@Vigilon
Dazia 0 Posted June 20, 2018 Author #47 Share Posted June 20, 2018 (edited) Dazia spotted the normal Raven waiting for her to follow. "Time to get moving." After about a few minutes, the raven began making it's calls, out towards a certain direction. From a patch of dark that was thought to be a shadow cast by an object possibly blocking moonlight, a Shadow Raven came up, flying to a tree branch close to the normal raven. It stared at the normal raven, as if it's presence wasn't appreciated. The normal raven gestured to the players, and the Shadow Raven looked towards them. It ruffled it's feathers, then shook it's head while looking towards the normal raven. From the looks of things, it didn't like guests in it's territory. It looked towards the direction the normal raven had called out towards, then back to the players. Dazia drew close to that area, and the cursor above the Shadow Raven turned red before Dazia had a chance to pull out something for it. She looked over to the area, wondering why it's cursor would only turn red if someone got too close to that spot? It was covered up with...wait a second, it was just leaves and tall grass. Could it be something hidden? Either way, Dazia had failed at another chance to tame a Shadow Raven. This would be harder than it seemed. "It looks like we're going to have to fight aga- Wait, where's Lee??" @Vigilon @Benjamin Bookworm ID# 101842 LD: 8+2-1=9(Failure, Hostile Mob Spawned) Dazia: HP 160/160, EN 16/16 | 14 MIT | 5 Base DMG | 2 ACC Vigilon: HP 400/400, EN 45/45 | 9 MIT | 7 Base DMG | 1 EVA | 1 Bleed | 2 Recovery Benjamin Bookworm: HP 240/240, EN 24/24 | 3 Base DMG | 1 ACC | 3 EVA Enemies: Shadow Raven: HP 80/80, 24 DMG Edited June 20, 2018 by Dazia
