Macradon 0 Posted February 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2018 (edited) Walking away from the waterfall with his trusty cerberus by his side, Macradon would walk towards the main settlement of the third floor once again. He was at peace, said goodbye to Dom, salin both Opal and Teayre, and had finally overcome his weakness, who was just himself, standing in his own way. Now, Macradon was ready to go on, to reach new heights he wouldn’t have been able to do before taking care of those errands. The three headed hound barked up to its master, still confused to what had happened with Macradon as he sat on the rocks under the waterfall. Crouching down on one knee, Macradon was met with three heads happily licking his face. The great hound would have enough strength to push its master to the ground and shower him with lover. Macradon giggled as he tried to hold the hound back "C'mon, Bel, stop it", but Belphegor liked his master way too much, especially after what had happened when the two met. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #2 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Finally taking his time to do what he should’ve done from the start, Macradon was headed for the first floor’s Monument of Life, he hadn’t been there for quite a while now, and it was finally time. Walking together with Belphegor, Macradon took it slow and easy, making it most comfortable as he knew he would face something he wasn’t the most fondest off, his name on the monument. The two walked together for about an hour to get back to the main settlement of the third floor, and the two followed down to the first floor’s teleportation plaza. Walking by his shop first, Macradon would send Belphegor in and stay for the while as Macradon needed this journey to be another solitary adventure for himself to complete, Belphegor wasn’t really getting what was going on, but just went into the smithy and sat down, looking out of the window where he could see Macradon. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Wandering on the first floor in the town of beginnings, Macradon moved with haste and a certain specific point in mind. He did not have long before he came to the Black Iron Fortress, the place where not only prisoners go, btu where the Monument of Life was placed. Standing before the big black iron gates, Macradon would take in a deep breath and exhale slowly, closing his eyes as he calmed his mind “It’s time” he said and opened the gates, walking into the great dark fortress. He knew someone in prison, and he was sure that he was not to go by there, he would ignore the existence of the prison and would now go to the monument of life. The first he would search for was Dagger_Guy. Already the first name on the Monument triggered Macradon’s memories, a prey of Teayre. Not long after grazing by Azide, a person he knew and had spoken with before his tragic end at Rohk.
Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted February 20, 2018 But a name he had not anticipated being there was BeatBox, he knew he was gone, but didn’t know he was dead, and by all means by Death_Adder as well. “No!” Macradon roared out as he slammed his clenched fist upon the monument, as this Death_Adder was no more than a pestilence, an egotistical germ that was to be cleansed off of Aincrad’s surface. This wasn’t why he had come, so he would yet again try to calm his soul and continue. He finally came to Dagger_Guy, the one Macradon had killed, the Laughing Coffin member he murdered in front of a crowd because he tried to run, instead of actually capturing him and putting him to prison, Macradon displayed what would be done to those that try to kill others, they would be slain by his hand. Taking in a deep breath, Macradon would look further upon the monument of life, seeing Ebony, the girl Teayre murdered in front of everyone, and no one did anything against it, no one did anything toTeayre, the hatred began to grow inside Macradon once again. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted February 20, 2018 The list went on, at least until one particular name, Lowenthal. Macradon finally asked the question “W-was it true, did she just kill him?” he thought and looked at the name, it was indeed correct, Ariel was the murderer of his former Vice Commander, something he would not accept and confront to her about at a later date, as he would not just stand and see his superiors and subordinates be slain like flies. Another victom of Teayre, Manta, someone he hadn’t talked with a lot, but he knew her. Then came what wreched Macradon’s heart of justice, the death of Opal. “W-w-what?” he muttered and looked closer. Opal’s name was indeed on the monument, and he would look at the killer … Volcano? “Was it that Laughing Coffin dude?” he thought and would look further into the monument. Macradon noticed but would try not to look at it, Ssendom, his mentor was there, but as he had tried to before, he wanted to calm his composure, and the sight of Ssendom’s name would not help him. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Though Macradon had thought some great deeds would be shown by Opal, lots of names Opal had killed since she were killed herself, nothing really stood there except a single person “Pathetic, to even think that someone like you was able to take him out … disgrace” he thought and would follow the names of the monument, but it soon ended on an empty spot, nothing more. These were all the dead people on the monument. It was quite the amount of names though. He was quite amazed, this many people had died, and he couldn’t even remember how long they have been in here, it was quite the thing going on. But one thing was certain, this Death_Adder was a severe problem. Teayre was a murderous menace as well, but since Calrex has locked her away in their house for her to sit and await the rest of the players to take care of the ordeal that is surviving, Macradon deemed her presence irrelevant. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Opal was dead, the one he had thought to slay himself, what a shame. The evildoers that had halted him from going forwards, they were all gone, they were non existent and they weren’t even a danger anymore. What he couldn’t do back then, he could now. Opening up his inventory, Macradon switched from his heavy gear to his black and green monk robes. He was on a journey, but he needed Belphegor for this, he really did. As he ran out of the Black Iron Fortress, Macradon would make his first priority to take Belphegor with him. As he approached the shop, he would lock the door up where he was met by Belphegor knowing his master by the smell. Without much hesitation, Macradon would write on a piece of paper and slap it onto the window of his shop, saying that his shop had been temporarily been shut down for renovation. Locking up his shop again he went off to someone else, Piera, an Alchemist who would be able to provide potions for him that would aide him on his way towards what he needed. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted February 20, 2018 As he made the way towards Piera’s stall, Macradon would make sure he had everything he needed for him to succeed on this. The first place to visit was the third floor in the grassy fields. A small house was located out close to the forests, this was where Piera’s shop was. Entering the shop, Macradon would be adorned with green and black robes. Templar’s Redemption on his back harness. His right hand with a pouch with payment, his left hand wrapped in chains that chained down the large three headed cerberus Belphegor. Belphegor did not like being with strangers, but because what Macradon had shown to him earlier, he tried to be nice to those he did not know, that was including monsters, familiars and buildings. “Hey Piera, I’m in need of some potions, can you make some quickly, unless you already have them in stock, then it would be perfect” he said and would hand over a small piece of paper with what he needed written onto it. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted February 20, 2018 After taking care of the amount of potions that would help him succeed, Macradon was on the look for some more things, food. He needed something to boost his aptitude, it was now or never, the hunt was on, and his prey was the most dangerous prey he had ever thought of going toe to toe with, but that’s how it is. Without much more thought macradon would go to his next stop, he now had damage and mitigation galore, now he just really needed the good, and he was in need of a cook. Knowing many different people, Grave came into mind, he was a cook, but he has had his absence lately, not thinking that he even wanted to be nor help frontliners anymore. After Mack’s disappearance, the guild had been falling into shambles with only Hirru and Mac left. It was a shame, though something came to his mind when he thought Cook. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted February 20, 2018 He remembers that he had helped a Cook make some cooking utensils, the cook’s name was Sey. The other white haired person he knew here on Aincrad. Just like last time, Macradon would be in need to go further up the floors to get to his next pit stop, Halcyon’s Keep. Walking up and finally into the shop on the 11th floor, Macradon had no time for nice talks and would just get to the business. Despite his already bad attitude and mood, Macradon was clad in not the red and white of the KoB, but was instead wearing black and green robes, his own colors that he wore back in the days, these robes were ominous and wasn’t like Macradon at all, he had the big broad hood up, shielding his face from most view, but his scarlet eyes pierced through the darkness of his hood. “Sey, I need you to help me with something, it’s urgent” he said and would hand over a piece of paper with written words, indicating what Macradon was in need of, why he had come here and what he was after. Macradon 0 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #11 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Only waiting a short while more, Macradon would receive the food he had ordered and would be on his way without more words. Stepping outside into the 11th floor, Macradon would look around himself and think “Where to go now …” he thought with Belphegor in the chain by his hands. “Now let’s go look around for today” he said to Belphegor and would set into his scout mode, the one he had used back when looking for the boss rooms. The first place was to think back … think real back … where did Death_Adder flee to? “Uhm … uhhh …” Macradon thought, doing his best to think of what had been going on and what happened. As his mind surged, he heard the words as sharp as when the “Hero” said it with his tail between his legs. “Floor 21. Tomokia.”. That’s where Macradon would start his search. Macradon 0 Posted March 9, 2018 Author #12 Share Posted March 9, 2018 As he walked his way through Taft to the warp Plaza, Macradon would think of what would go on now. He would arrive at the 21st floor at Tomokia, but what would he be doing from there? He had to think about this, what he could possibly do to find this Hero of Aincrad as fast as he possibly could. Stepping out of the warp plaza in full incognito, Macradon would begin to walk around, asking people if they have seen this man with two swords on his back, or something like a man wearing a dark trench coat and had short hair. He would ask around for the entire day before taking a break when the sun would begin to set. Finding a small inn on the 21st floor, Macradon would chain Belphegor outside of the inn to stop any possible destruction the hellhound would be able to do inside.
Macradon 0 Posted March 9, 2018 Author #13 Share Posted March 9, 2018 Macradon sat down with a heavy sigh at the bar counter. He would pull down the hood of his robes and order a glass of water with a few ice cubes in it. He would be handed the glass and take a sip as the bartender asked him “What’s the matter?”. Macradon would look up at the bartender and reply “I’ve just been on the look for someone”, “Oh hun, that’s not how you get a partner” the bartender said with a smirk on her face, “Please, I’m not in the mood for jokes. I’m looking for a red player, named “Death_Adder”, have you seen or heard about him?” he asked and took another sip of his glass. “Oh … I’m not sure if I have heard of this person … hm … my memory isn’t the shar-” the bartender proceeded to say, but Macradon cut her off as he threw a small pouch with a good amount of col on the table and had a stern look at her, like he had the killing intent any other murderer would have. Macradon 0 Posted March 12, 2018 Author #14 Share Posted March 12, 2018 (edited) She quickly averted her eyes from Macradon’s, as the fear that the sight engaged seemed to be too much for her to handle. She would proceed to push the pouch back in fear and take his glass when he would finish drinking, ignoring Macradon for the rest of the time. “Great” he thought and would turn around and leave the bar “Macradon, level 74, seconds strongest player in the game. And this is the way you treat me? I’m still baffled that I play to release you guys from this place. I guess it’s not worth it anymore” he said and left the inn, grabbing the chain of Belphegor and left the premises. As he was beginning to leave, another person would come out of the door from the inn “Wait!” the person exclaimed. “I’ve heard about him!” the person said. Macradon would look around and see a young man, he must’ve eavesdropped, which was fine. Edited March 12, 2018 by Macradon
Macradon 0 Posted March 14, 2018 Author #15 Share Posted March 14, 2018 “Spit it out, then” Macradon said, looking at the boy. The boy was hesitant, like he wanted something for his words. “I don’t have time for this, say something” Macradon would say with a stern voice. Every second that went by with this boy was a second wasted, if nothing would come out of this. The boy hesitate even further, but would finally utter some words “I saw him not too long ago, seemed like he was rushing towards the north”. Macradon would turn around and begin to walk towards the north of the floor while the boy would come up and tug onto Macradon’s robes. With a quick notion Belphegor would ignite its flames and with one of its heads chomp onto the arm of the boy, sending him flying down to the ground as the two other hound heads would growl and bark at the boy. Macradon would turn back to the boy with a killer look in his eyes “If you want a reward, I reward you by sparing your life” he said and would walk away.
Macradon 0 Posted March 14, 2018 Author #16 Share Posted March 14, 2018 This was a good lead, at least an overall direction to where Death_Adder could’ve gone to. “I can probably use this one” he said to himself and opened his Tracking HUD. Entering the name “Death_Adder” into the HUD, Macradon expect tracks to follow to find the man, but nothing appeared before him. Either the kid lied to him or Death_Adder was too far for him to track with his skill. Either way, he would have to travel about half a day before he could check again to see if Death_Adder truly was within the vicinity of this floor. Both Macradon and Belphegor were ready to travel and camp out in the wilderness as well as having enough food to survive out here. The two would walk the most of the night and settle camp when the time would get close to midnight. Belphegor would lay outside of the tent at the entrance, guarding its master while Macradon rested for now.
Macradon 0 Posted March 14, 2018 Author #17 Share Posted March 14, 2018 After a good night's rest, Macradon would get up early in the morning, quickly getting his robes back on and on the walk again. It was cold up here, but he had to press on and look for this guy, he had to take out this danger once and for all. Opening up his HUD Macradon would proceed to try to track Death_Adder again, hoping it would trigger for now, but it didn’t. He would click his tongue and look around, there was still a lot of ground before he would be half way through to the edge of the floor, so all he had to do now was to go until he was halfway and give up on this floor and the general direction he had been given. The two would walk together and go around, thinking of where to look for next, Macradon would continuously check his HUD to see if he could track Death_Adder while Belphegor would roam around in Macradon’s vicinity, trying to find something that could lead them to Death_Adder. Macradon 0 Posted March 14, 2018 Author #18 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Macradon would use the entire day together with Belphegor, walking north until they would get to the halfway mark towards the edge, if they couldn’t find Death_Adder by now with Tracking, there wouldn’t be much for them to do on the 21st floor anymore. As he opened up his tracking HUD, Macradon would be disappointed once again as he wouldn’t get any answer from it, Death_Adder was not in the vicinity for them to find him. Macradon would sigh and turn around, walking towards the main settlement again, slowly trying to find more clues to where Death_Adder could be hiding, where he could get asylum, where he could stay while recovering from the loss of what made him strong. Macradon despised the thought of a being like him able to wield the skill that could help the frontlines immensely, instead he uses it egotistically, he does it for his own sake, instead of pushing forward, he just hides. Macradon 0 Posted March 14, 2018 Author #19 Share Posted March 14, 2018 As he would get back to the main settlement, it was almost nearly morning again. Macradon was tired, exhausted from all this moving, once again, activating his Tracking just for the last time before leaving the 21st floor, but then it happened. As he entered the name "Death_Adder" into his Tracking HUD, a crosshair would show itself, showing the way to where tracks of Death_Adder could be followed, could be tracked. "I finally got him" Macradon thought for himself as he would see footprints on the ground, circling around the great main settlement of the 21st floor, that's how he diverted Macradon's attention, he initially went north, but went south directly after getting out of sight. The plan fooled Macradon, but the prints were still fresh enough to track, so he took the opportunity, running after the footprints in the ground as he went through his friends list on who could aide him in this battle against evil. Macradon 0 Posted March 14, 2018 Author #20 Share Posted March 14, 2018 (edited) The time has come, the time was now. Macradon didn’t have much time to gather and rally a group of people, all he had to work with now was to get someone to come and aide him fast, before Death_Adder could escape. He went through different people, thinking of either Calrex or Hikoru would be able to aide him here. With a quick thought, Macradon would take off Hikoru from the list. He wasn’t one to go after a player, more of a passifict player than an aggressive one. Nor would Calrex be a candidate for this team, he would probably not carry out this mission. He would freeze in place as a peculiar name would appear on his friends list, a person he hadn’t talked to in a long long time, Zandra. She was an adept fighter and very possible of giving a hand to this battle. He would grit his teeth but would still with little hesitation press the name and send her a private message.
