Spoiler

Name: Thibault

ID and Roll: 96669 -- CD: 10

Type: One Handed Rapier

Tier: 1

Quality: Uncommon

Enhancements: +1 Accuracy

Description: A rapier of Spanish origin. The slender, long blade makes the weapon effective in piercing weak points or gaps between armor. If wielded properly, it can also end someone's life with a single stab to the eyesocket or the brain. Don't even try to jab it rapidly and repetitively like Mister Polnareff. You'll end up bending the blade.

Spoiler

Name: Zweihander

ID and Roll: 96670 -- CD: 11

Type: Two Handed Straight Sword

Tier: 1

Quality: Rare

Enhancements: +2 DMG

Description: A German two handed sword that can be wielded by only those who are familiar with two handed weapons in general due to its weight and power. Largely used by warriors like landschneckts, German mercenaries of late 15th - 16th Europe. Gained a trend among warriors due to a rumor that a heavily armored swordsman who wears a mask that resembles a bearded man uses this weapon to cut his opponents in half in only one to two strikes, no matter how strong they are. His blade was said to be embedded with magical fiery red powder that can temporarily burst a weapon into flames.

Spoiler

Name: Evil's Bane

ID and Roll: 96973 -- CD: 12

Type: One Handed Straight Sword

Tier: 1

Quality: Perfect

Enhancements: +2 DMG, +1 Keen

Description: A sword entirely based on the fictional Master Sword wielded by the Hero Of Time in the Zelda series. Taking in the form of a realistic version of the weapon, the sword deals great damage against evils, as well as cutting and stabbing organs and flesh to brutal results. Additionally, it has a mystical power that when wielded by a warrior, increases his or her battle efficiencies as long as they are both good in nature.

Not worthy for warriors with a corrupted heart or mind, especially if they intentionally kill innocents for sport.

The armory's interior is quite simple, if clean. From the entrance, one will find him or herself at a space where there is a wooden counter at the left for people to make their payment, the weapons section at the front, all hung at the walls or stored inside some glass displays, and armor section at the right, all displayed in the same said walls and glass displays, though full sets of armor stand on their own armor stands. There is also a door at the corner of the shop, which leads to Zicko's resting area.

In that same area there is another door that leads to the basement, and this is where he most of his work, except for cleaning weapons, which he does upstairs at the main space.

Additionally, there are also some sitting furniture in the main space, where guests can sit onto either to rest or discuss with Zicko about anything related to his shop or sales.

Overall, this entire place have peach marble tiles for floors and light, smooth wooden material for walls. This place gives off a sense of comfort in terms of space and atmosphere.

The pricing lists and order forms are hung on the walls and on a separate table respectively, the latter equipped with a pencil and eraser. They are located just beside Zicko's counter.

Getting to work immediately as soon as everything is set up in his entire shop and basement forge, Zicko tries to stick to what the NPC blacksmith in Floor 1 taught him about forging.

"Watch the forge! Make sure the metal is glowing orange."

"Not even cherry red can be considered as a properly heated metal."

"Get used to the sparks. You'll no longer feel pain whenever they land on your thick skin as time passes."

Bang! Bang! Bang! goes the hammer against an iron ingot, which is orange in color. Zicko remains unfazed as he attempts to flatten the ingot to make a sword.

The result is disastrous. As the metal is flattened, Zicko makes the mistake of not quenching the thing into water to harden it. No sooner after he hits it against his anvil, it cracks, much to his disappointment.

Same thing happens to another ingot, though the cracks are not as much as the last. Regardless, Zicko learns that quenching the metal in certain stages can help harden them.

Another try. This time, Zicko tries to be more observant to the metal ores and his forge, trying his best to at least shape them into a decent blade or blunt surface in the form of a mace or hammer. At one point, he almost succeeds in shaping into a sword. He smiles a little, but soon frowns as the metal becomes too brittle to be worked on further.

Regardless, at least he gets to reuse the metal, and tries to do the same thing. This time, he fails. Disappointing, but at least he is glad that he is making a bit of progress here.

Zicko, after reading more manuals about blacksmithing, weapons and armor, has his spirits perked up within himself as he calmly heads downstairs to his basement, relighting the forge with the help of pine charcoal. Taking another steel ingot, he puts it into the fire and waits for it to turn orange, before retrieving it with a pair of tongs and uses his hammer to work on the ingot.

Keeping his close eye to the ingot, reheating and cooling, more banging and eventually shaping are all that would take to make him succeed for the first time. After spending some hours of work, he looks at the shaped ingot glowing brightly before the system transforms it into....a rapier. Nicely done.

Zicko picks up the new weapon, his first craft, looking at the beautiful, slender blade as he admires the shiny textures as well as the appealing design of its hilt. All that is left is to give it a cleanup. But first he takes another ingot and gets back to work.

Turns out that when a rough shape of the desired equipment is formed, and if all going well according to correct smithing procedures, it will successfully turn into the complete design. Keeping this in mind, Zicko puts all of his focus to the ingot, and after around two or three hours of work (with a bit of rest), he successfully crafted another weapon. This time it is a two hander, a zweihander to be exact. Historically used by people like landschneckts, German mercenaries in late 15th-16th century Europe.

ID: 96972 -- CD: 8 (You fail, but metal is preserved. Gained 2 EXP)

ID: 96973 -- CD: 12 (MASTERPIECE! Gained 8 EXP)

A sword has come into Zicko's mind as he is polishing and cleaning his zweihander, his eyes focused on his work while his mind is working on an idea. What if he can make battle ready swords that are based on those that are portrayed in fictional media? By battle ready he doesn't mean real swords that are blunt. He perceives real as in they are literally swords that are sharp as hell and can be used as effectively and much as genuine, non theatrical medieval weapons.

The Hero Of Time's Master Sword is the first fictional sword to come into his mind. Immediately after giving final touches to the zweihander's blade and hanging it on the display walls, he quickly gets back downstairs to work on his forge.

Taking a strong, good looking metal ingot, he starts forging it while closely monitoring the temperature and whatnot, all while keeping the final image in his mind.

First attempt almost rendered the ingot useless, and he was just getting to shaping the tip of the blade too. Luckily, it is salvageable, and he resumes working, reminding himself in his heart to not rush and just relax throughout his job.

After some sweet time of painstaking work, it's finally done.

The moment when he quenches the finished blade into water, and withdraws it from the liquid, smoke emits from the hot metal before they gradually fade, and the blade glows and takes shape into exactly what Zicko wants to forge today.

There it is. The real Master Sword, with realistic proportions and parts. No oversized pommel or hilt, less 'wings', and a blade which part of it isn't too slender near the hilt.

Now anybody can be Link. Zicko actually smiles for the first time in years, though only briefly, and gets up and sits behind the counter as he starts polishing and cleaning the weapon right away. This is one of his favorite parts of his work as a blacksmith. It is relaxing and quiet..almost as if it is an interactive ASMR.

Fail. Another fail. And even another fail. Much to Zicko's disappointment as he had done such a great job on the day of the Master Sword's birth. Oh well. At least he managed to salvage some metal twice.

Heading upstairs, he sits down behind the wooden counter, the rapier on his table as well as some weapon cleaning tools. He remains silent and still as he first wipes the slender blade with his cloth, then he uses water and a polishing liquid, rubbing the blade vigorously with the same cloth and makes sure that it is as shiny as a colonel's pair of boots.
