Kimi was too focused to bother listening to her companions and too busy trying to ignore the voice in her head also. As Kimi came back into reality from trying to ignore the negative and doubtful voice in her head she looked back at Boarswain Jessamine. "You gonna try at me again missy? You're only going to get hurt." the pirate officer said in a very taunting tone. The already frustrated redhead ignored her taunts, but continued forwards with her assault on her. Kimi gathered energy to her right fist as she charged directly at Jessamine determined to put her into the ground. As she repeated the events of chasing Jessamine around Kimi saw an opening while she was dodging and got Jssamine to back up into one of the other pirates. When that happened Kimi finally got a hit off on her instantly making Jessamine vanish into the air.

Kairi had watched as Kimi went forward to attack the boss to finish her up, making a smile towards her direction she was happy that the boss was defeated and we could move on to the smaller enemies. However Kairi had turned over to Hestia which had been saying to switch back to AoE's, Kairi had shook her head and said "I don't have enough energy to do one, at least one that could do something towards them. I am forced to waste my energy on a single target." she had informed her since she has no access to AoE's she could use, or ones that would do something towards them. Kairi had charged her sword once more and went at the weakest Pirate Deckhand she found and did a load of damage towards it, however after the attack had ended she had looked up to her energy... she was completely out.

I glance towards Kairi seeing her energy run out as i nod towards her. Kairi exit the combat and rest up for a few turns i am certain we'll be going through a similar process if not a longer one if their are two more deckhands around on this ship somewhere. I tell her as i give kimi a smile and a nod of my head. And nice going Kim! You knocked her lights out. I cheer happily for the girl as i focus upon the three deckhands that have their sword out and ready to attack me once more as i simply activate my sword art once more with a smile on my face determined to get another turned to stone enemy group. With that i charge at them my sword glowing ready to cut into enemies. I charge and cut into two of the deckhands as two of them graze my armor with one who hit me stumbling backwards and off of the boat. With soon after a prehistoric shark like creature jumps out of the water and bites into the deckhand killing him in that instance. The other two remaining deckhands turning into stone.

Kimi said towards Kairi, "Its alright Hestia and I can finish off the rest of them. Just save up some energy and jump back into the fight when its starts to look bad." Kimi slightly snapped out of her depressive self as she finally finished off the annoying pirate officer, but she knew that there were more to come. This was just one of many that might be around. Kimi slightly smiled at Hestia jokingly complementing her at getting rid of the pirate officer also. Even though the pirates were down a man, but more specifically an officer they still didn't stop their assault. With that in mind Kimi quickly gathered energy to use the same attack she had finished off the previous opponent. Unlike the officer Kimi didn't have to chase this grunt around the deck to fight. "Looks like you guys are out of practice. How about you go for a swim." Kimi said as she knocked one of the pirates into the water.  The jokes she told came out slightly forced as she was still under the effects of the negative thoughts that flooded her mind.

Kairi had looked over to Hestia when she had said to just leave combat to regen her energy and come back, Kairi had nodded her head, and turned around to run away from the battle. A different pirate had come up to try to stop her however Karona had shot out its tongue to trip the pirate so Kairi could escape. After she had gotten to the clear Karona had let go off the pirates legs with its tongue and chased behind Kairi. Kairi had made her way out of combat range at least where it would tell her she was out of combat. Kairi had let out a deep sigh as she had taken a seat looking over to the boat in the distance. Kairi's familiar Karona had scuttled close to Kairi and had sat as a chest. Kairi had smiled and leaned up against Karona using him as a form of a wall to stay comfortable.

I look towards the duo of pirates as they are completely immobilized with a grin on my face as i prep my sword art once more as i look towards the two totally turned to stone enemies as one is barely standing after Kimi's devastating attack against it. I charge towards the two enemies and slices into them as one just drops to barely anything and the other loses more health getting close to the halfway point if its health bar is anything to go by. I nod towards Kimi with a smile on my face. Focus on the one with the most health the other is going to die do to Bleed! i call out as i glance towards Kairi as i see her stopped by some pirate as i whistle loudly for Kuro as he quickly tackles this pirate roaring loudly and keeping it pinned with just the sheer weight of a creature the size of my familiar.

"Nice work Hestia." Kimi said as she watched her stun both of the remaining pirates and bade them bleed also. "Lets see if i can get this stun train going." Kimi said very happily. She looked back to see how Kairi was going and said, "Feel free to jump in anytime, but i'm pretty sure we got this now." She said with a very friendly and cheerful grin. As she started running towards the more healthier pirate that stood stunned along side his remaining partner. While she was running thought Kimi completely embarrassed herself as she ended up slipping on the deck of the ship. Kimi quickly picked herself up off the deck with her face red from embarrassment and backed off trying to hide herself. "Sorry about that, you can go ahead and attack." She said very nervously as she was being clumsy and not watching where she was going.

Kairi had looked over to the ship and sighed thinking to herself on how much she had messed up losing her cool just like that, without warning. And she had obviously made Kimi upset with her actions, and Hestia a little frustrated with her actions. Kairi knew that she had to make it up for them, however she didn't really necessarily know how to make it up for them. She had thought for a moment on what she needed to do to make it up, possibly after this to give a full pledged apology? Getting them a small gift? She had sighed confused on what she should do to make it better... she had looked down to Karona and gave him a few pats on his chest shell. "Where would I be without you and everyone I know..." she had whispered with a giggle.

I look towards the last remaining deckhand as the other just disperses into nothing as it crumbles into nothing then shatters into pixels unable to keep itself afloat anymore. I then glance towards the remaining dekchand and quickly charges at it and tries to cut into it as i end up like kimi slipping and sliding along the deck near kimi as i then slowly get up and looks over towards her. So then...don't talk about messing up like that? I ask kimi with a embarrassed blush upon my face also. I glance towards my familiar who is fighting off any extra pirates that are trying to attack us while our backs are turned so we can fight off only this deckhand to make the fights easier. I then blink realizing i don't know where Noodle is as i look around the deck trying to find the shark doggo.

The second pirate disappeared from Hestia's bleed effect, but she knew that she can celebrate just yet she had to finish off the remaining pirate that just broke out of its paralyze effect. "Well then Mr. Pirate. Looks like you're all alone now. How about we end this." Kimi said smirking. With the fight going on Kimi nearly forgot about the voice that had spoken up inside her when she messed up during her fight and from the argument on the boat. As Kimi gathered energy to her fist to chase the pirate she made sure she wouldn't step into any wet spots on the deck. Unfortunately with herself being preoccupied with trying to avoid possible spots on the ship she couldn't catch up to the pirate who was already accustomed to living the sea life and knew how to navigate around the ship. "Gah! Stop moving!" Kimi yelled in frustration. She slowly started to feel a dark essence sit on her shoulder as the voice in the back of her head snickered saying, "Failing again are we?"

Karona had let out a small grunt hearing his master speak out, Karona was a little worried about his master, he could smell Kairi being a little scared, however he trusts that nothing bad is going to happen from her. Kairi had patted his shell once more saying out to him "It's going to be fine Karona, just a little worried about Hestia and Kimi is all." she had informed him. Karona had let out almost a "I don't trust you but okay" grunt. Kairi had let out a giggle and said to him "Well, you don't have to believe me, but trust me Karona... I am going to be fine." then he had let out one slow grunt that basically said "Ugh... fine." Kairi had let out one small giggle and one more pat on its shell. "Thank you Karona, just put a little more trust in me alright buddy?" she had smiled towards him. Karona had given a acceptance grunt in response to Kairi's demands.

I sigh softly at another miss as i shake my head just figuring that it is a string of bad luck and the enemy having the opportunity to dodge all of this. I glance towards the enemy and focuses my sword art once more knowing that i will not have any other reason to use my energy.  I go to attack the enemy as it suddenly takes out a horn and blows directly right in front of my face as i get disoriented from the noise as i stumble backwards my sword running out of energy as i then feel a sword go through my neck as i look towards the enemy and quickly forces the blade out of my neck as i glare at the deckhand. Surprised that my health actually feel a scarily big amount along with having my attack ignored. Having not expected something that did no damage to doing all the damage.

Kimi was starting to feel very exhausted at all her failed attempts at attacking and chasing the pirates around their ship. She couldn't really complain though since they were indeed pirates and had 'home field advantage'. With that in mind Kimi decided to try a different sword art which had proven to be very useful to her in the past. As she looked back at Kairi she noticed her talking to her familiar which was normal in her eyes as she did the same with Noodle. Kimi charged energy into her limbs as she made her way back up to the pirate who was casually taunting her just like the officer she disposed of earlier in the fight. She quickly burst into a sprint putting all her energy into trying to actually catch the pirate and this time following just behind them to get a good hit off. "Hopefully this will do the job." Kimi thought to herself as she actually caught up and planted a well placed kick to the pirates leg before unleashing hell upon him. While she was repeatedly punching the pirate she noticed a familiar white glow with golden streams emerge from the gloves increasing her damage to her opponent. After she finished beating pirate, the deck beneath where he laid showed cracks. "Whew... Finally."

Kairi had looked up to her energy, her energy pool was finally growing to a point where it was back to full. Kairi had taken one more glance towards the ship, she still had no idea how she was going to apologize to all of them... or how she could make things right and everyone is happy again. However, a part of her was just worried if there was nothing that she could do to necessarily make things better. She had gulped and thought that the only thing that she could do to try to make things better was to just apologize when this quest was all said and done. Kairi had looked up to her energy pool and saw that it was 100% full, Kairi had let out a sigh and stood up. Karona as well had entered Mimic mode feeling Kairi stand back up. Kairi had made her way back to the pirate ship as Kimi had finished the last Deckhand... however she had felt like this battle was far from over.

After the last pirate is taken care of within this group i nod towards Kairi as she walks on over towards the two as i glance towards Kimi. Kimi get a rest for a turn or two that way we can be prepared to the best of our ability. kairi join me for trying to barricade the door as much as possible. We need to delay long enough for kimi to gather some energy, and while we're on it we will need to make sure the deck of this belongs to us.Which means somebody will need to check the crow's nest while the other barricades the door. I say as i glance up to the very high point as i just shake my head not wanting to be the one that has to do so. Preferring to remain comfortably upon the ground, and with that sentiment i start moving crates and barrels to block the door to the lower part of the ship. Knowing that the deck will be where we fight, and hopefully won't have to deal with another boatswain suddenly appearing to want some fight between the two players. Not wishing to deal with one while they are still recovering. Hoping silently in the back of my mind that Kairi will check the crow's nest so i don't have to deal with the very top heights of the ship.

Kimi sat down and thanked Hestia for giving her a moment to catch her breath. Luckily for her she had a house and was still under the effect of her buff that would let her recover sooner than the normal timer. She stretched her arms and legs while she sat on the ground seeing if Noodle was alright. Kimi looked back towards Hestia and Kairi with a fairly sad look in her eyes. "Sorry, I kept messing up during that fight. They were a lot more agile than I thought they would be." She said as she turned her head down to look at her feet. "I'll be sure to be more useful for you guys in the next fight...  Or at least try harder." Kimi said. She didn't hear the doubtful voice from the back of her mind, instead she was just admitting to her being a problem during that fight only helping very little than what she could've done.

Kairi had looked over to Hestia when she had told Kimi to rest up while we would barricade the door, Kairi had looked a little confused on why in the world this would help them in any way shape or form, however she had just played along with it and helped her move barrels and other things to block the door. Kairi had looked over to Hestia and said to her "So... why in the world are we blocking a door again? It's not like he could just be strong enough to open it, or just simply kick it with enough force. I am not too sure how this is entirely helpful to us." However afterwards she had said to her "I suppose I will check the Crow's Nest, however tell me... what am I looking for? I don't know what I am even trying to find really." she had asked. She could check up there if they had needed her to, however she just didn't know what exactly she was looking for to begin with.

I hear your questions and rolls my eyes ever so slightly. The goal was to delay for awhile till both of you can get energy as fast as possible. However, it seems i underestimated how fast Kimi can regenerate energy. I say rather surprised to see Kimi already almost back to full energy as i just shrug and moves the barrels out of the way once more. Doesn't matter i guess. Let's just wait for Kimi to be at full and then deal with whoever else is here on this ship. I say calmly as i rest on the railing and looks towards the inside of the ship as i glance up towards the crow's nest as i then see a man starting to make his way down on a piece of rope holding his sword within his hand as he slowly gets closer and closer towards the ground. Having what looks like braided hair as i glance towards Kimi. You ready to fight once more so soon? I ask the red head quickly as i hold my sword and shield.

Kimi heard what Kairi had to say and she could agree that she wasn't wrong with the door being very breakable, but trying would be hard either. Kimi slowly felt energy come back to her as she sat waiting. She followed up with a little bit of stretching and stood up to say, "Alright. I think im just about done and ready to go fighting again." Kimi felt a bit better about herself as she sat and thought for a moment about the things that happened. She shrugged off the voice finally once the confrontation was over, but she knew that there was still more to come and she wasn't looking forward to that. Kimi walked up the the railing of the boat to look down to see if there were any pirates waiting for them, but none could be found. "Hmm do you guys know where the rest of them are?" Kimi asked looking over to both Kairi and Hestia.

Kairi had looked to Hestia with a little bit of concern, she had just asked because she was wondering why they had been doing so as she had seen it a certain way. Kairi had looked down though a little upset and said "I'm sorry... I just wanted to know is all and thought that the AI would one up us was all..." Kairi had looked at Kimi and looked at Hestia. Kairi had looked down at Karona in which it had let out a grunt saying to just say it. Kairi had let out a small sigh and went to try to say something, however before she could speak she had looked up to someone that had been going down the crow's nest. Kairi had blinked a few times and thought how bad of an idea it would had been if one of them had climbed up there, possibly one of them would had been pushed off and fell all the way down to take some fall damage.
