[PP - F1] Titles Are Hard :c << DHA 1 >>

Kairi had taken in a deep breath in and out, she had just needed a little separation time from Hestia for a moment especially claiming things in front of Kimi as well. She had wanted to get this quest done, however, she just didn't necessarily want to do it alone. Kairi had opened her messanger and looked through the list crossing off some names trying to do a process of elimination for who she should meet up with. There was Jomei, however she had always assumed that he was too busy to talk to people. She had met Telrenya before... she was unsure about Ruby, and she shouldn't really speak to Hestia or Kimi at the given moment. So there was one name she hadn't seen before in which was Spencer, with a smile she had sent him a message:

Quote

To: Spencer

Hey, its Kairi. I know you haven't met me, but I am new to the guild and all. And I wanted to know if you were interested in doing the first Dragon Hunter quest with me? I don't want to be alone doing the quest.

Hope to hear from you sometime~

Spencer was the first floor just kind of bored. His emotions had evened out. Not to a good mood or him being happy, but not him being upset either. The Dungeon adventuring that some of the guild participated in showed him that he really needed to get around and become stronger and get some more levels, he was pretty weak. Man I need something to do in order for me to level up, I'm the runt of the guild right now, I think I really need to do a couple more quests... but I really don't know what quests I would need to do- oh I got a message. Spencer stopped his thoughts and looked at the HUD screen, an message from his guild mate Kairi appeared. Hmm... that's weird. I haven't really talked to her before. He thought for a moment and decided to see what happened in the message. Spencer opened the message and read through it, and decided that it was the perfect opportunity for him to go in and get some levels.

Spoiler

To Kairi:

I'd love to! I'm on the firs tfloor right noow, I'll try to find you and we can start this. I've never obviously done these before so I gots no idea what I'm doing, so I hope you know what you are doing lol

After a moment of waiting patiently and nervously she had received something back, Kairi had blinked a few times a little shocked that she had gotten a message back, however she had supposed that he didn't have that busy of a life to ignore anyone's messages. She had opened the message and had smiled, it wasn't a message she had been expecting at all, and she had smiled at the positivity that had came from it. Kairi had replied to him:

To: Spencer

Oh wonderful! I am near the floor teleporter sitting on a bench just in case if you were on a different floor. However, I am sure that we would be able to do it on our own, it doesn't sound too hard to me.

She had giggled and sent the message and placed her hands on the bench and began to look around swinging her feet back and forth as she had sat on the bench.

Spencer read the message that Kairi sent back, telling him where he needed to meet Kairi in order to get this all started. He heard that Telrenya and Jomei are doing these quests, and also that Hestia and Kimi might start them together. He was wondering if he wanted to message them and ask them how it goes and if he should prepare more for it. He shrugged a bit and decided that maybe he'll be safe enough and be able to take care of himself and hopefully everything will work out in the end.

Spencer made it to the teleportation center and looked around, and then spotted someone with a guild emblem. He assumed that it was Kairi, and he shrugged, walking forward towards the platform. The woman was waiting for him and he waved to her. "Kairi? It's me, Spencer." He smiled and walked towards her, the woman was not what he was expecting, but she was still adorable and looked fine,

Kairi had spent the time to just pull out a book that she had been reading to pass the time, Kairi had been doing her research about combat strategies to get her mind to wrap around certain different strategies and ways of fighting against monsters. Even though this was made by other people, she had still found it helpful and had made a little bit of sense against the different kinds of monsters that one could find so far in the world. However eventually she had heard her name being called out, Kairi had looked out and let out a hum. However looking up she had heard her name come from a male figure one that she could assume was spencer, and he had confirmed that it was indeed Spencer. Kairi had flashed a smile in his direction as she had close her book standing up from her bench offering a hand for him to shake saying "I don't believe we had met before, my name is Kairi its a pleasure to finally meet you Spencer."

"No I don't think we actually met before. And yes I am indeed Spencer, nice to meet you Kairi." He laughed and shook the woman's hand. He ran a hand through his hair and made sure he had everything in order in terms of his items and his equipment. He looked around the floor for a moment then turned to Kairi. "So, what all do you know about this quest line? I know it takes a little bit to do, but I'm looking forward to doing it and getting the experience for it, hopefully everything does well and we can get everything done pretty easily. I'm not sure the stats of any of the creatures that we are facing." He shrugged a bit and looked at Kairi, he was assuming the woman had the information on all of his questions. This should hopefully be fun. Get to know someone else from the guild, and actually have a chance in getting more levels and increasing my ability to fight and help out. I wonder when I'll see the whole guild again, I'll hopefully be a couple levels higher than before.

Kairi had smiled when he had accepted the handshake giving a full greeting. However after a moment he had asked her about what she knew about the quest line. Kairi had looked at him with a smile and said to him "Well, from what I know, we start at a extremely easy dragon and get more information about the next dragon until we meet on the tenth floor where a mysterious castle had appeared. And to get in that castle we have to take down each individual dragon. However I suppose the best thing to come from all of this is after each dragon we get a chunk of SP as if they we're quests." she had giggled. However after a moment she had looked over and looked back to Spencer before asking to him "Well, are you ready to go?" as she had said that, her Familiar Karona the Mimic had scuttled towards her however after a moment, he had smelled a new scent and he slowly went towards the figure and began to sniff at his feet.

Spencer nodded and listened to Kairi discussing the quest, going over everything that the two of them were going to have to do in order to get through with this quest. He assumed that it was about the same throughout every single quest, so he was pretty ready to get everything started. He was about to say he was ready to go, but Kairi asked if he was ready, and he nodded and got up to leave with her. Spencer followed the woman along for a moment, and started to think of things he could say in order to fill the void. Hmmm, I don't know her that well, so I'm hoping that everything runs smoothly, maybe I'll just start with a casual question. He thought about something to ask, then he turned to her slightly. "So, what have you been up to since you joined the guild? I know you joined a little while ago, but we never really got the chance to meet... obviously cause we already discussed that." He blushed a bit and looked down, kind of embarrassed.

Kairi had begun to guide him towards the boss in which they would have to face, sure Kairi was a little worried of it not being as easy as she was told... however even then she had just taken a deep breath and thought to things in a more positive manner. Kairi when walking had went into her inventory and switched from her casual clothing to her Armor, before taking a moment to look at herself as this was one of the first times she had worn armor like this. After she had put on her armor she had looked over to Spencer that had began to speak out to her, he had asked her what she had been up to... she had immediately thought of all the stress and sadness that had been brought up, however... she had just needed to move on from it, so she had told Spencer "Eh, I haven't really been up to much... Just getting quests done, gaining levels... you know the same ole, same ole. What have you been up to since you had joined yourself?" she had asked him.

Spencer followed along with Kairi, watching as the scenery slowly went by as they walked towards their destination. Spencer trusted that Kairi knew the way to where they were going, but Spencer still had his map at the ready just in case something happened and they couldn't really find their way. Spencer continued the trek with the woman, then she said something about what she was up to since she joined the guild, and then she asked him what he had been up to. "Well, I've been apart of this since the beginning, so it's been a major part of my time here. I got a familiar, a shop, a bunch of levels, some equipment... so basically everything I've done has been inside of this guild." He smiled and then looked down, seemed as though he had like no life what so ever. "I probably seem a tad bit boring considering the fact that I only ever do stuff with guild members, but to be fair guild members are the most fun to hang out with."

Kairi had walked and listened to Spencer speak out learning that he has been a part of this guild since the very beginning of the guild, and it has been a major part of his time here... he got a familiar and a bunch of other things and he probably wouldn't had gotten all of them if it wasn't for the guild that had been created. Kairi had looked over with a smile and said out to him "Well it's nice to hear that the guild had been a good portion of your life here. Some people need that sort of thing to be truly happy with themselves." she had looked forward and took a deep breath "However for me, it hasn't been the same way for me. However I will be alright. Just a little upset over things and just a little stressed out about decisions that I soon have to make." she had let out a shrug and said "It's nothing extremely bad, I will be fine at the end of the day, I am not going anywhere Physically at least." she had giggled.

Spencer smiled a bit and nodded when Kairi started to discuss what she was feeling, and how she was happy that he was getting where he needed to be. He bit his lip a little bit when Kairi started to talk about herself and the different things about her, how things weren't going the best for her and her decisions weren't going that well. He was glad that she said that she was going to be sticking around. "I'm glad you will be sticking around. Obviously I just got to know you, but I'm glad you will be around for the guild to get to know more, and for me to know more. You seem like a great girl, and I don't think anything will be changing my view of that statement." He smiled and looked down at her, their height a big difference. "So... how long till we get to the cave do you think?" He asked her and looked around the floor, he had no idea where the caves were. Wow, for someone who has been on this floor a lot, I really don't know where I am going. He shook his head mentally.

Kairi had looked over and smiled when he had stated that he was happy for her sticking around, she had chuckled a little bit and said out "I just needed to find a place to call family in this game, I would had probably done killed myself if it weren't for finding and talking to some people." she had spoke with the honest truth, even if it had sounded a little depressing there was just nothing for her to hide honestly "So thank you for being a part of it. Don't know where I would be without every single one of you guys." she smiled. After a moment he had asked out how long till they would arrive at the cave. Kairi had looked up at him and said "Ah we should be pretty close, it shouldn't take us too long, its more than likely possible we could get to more than one of these today, I dunno that is only if you want to do it." she had giggled.

Spencer smiled and gave Kairi a soft sighed hug. "Well thank you for the Kairi, I understand the feeling of being lonesome, I really do, I'm glad that you have been able to get somewhere in your life that you are feeling a bit better about yourself and your standings with your life." He smiled again and let go of Kairi, continuing to walk. Spencer heard Kairi say something about how it shouldn't be that much longer and the two of them should be reaching the place pretty soon, She also asked Spencer if he wanted to do another one today, and he thought for a moment before nodding. "You know what, Yeah I think I would like to do another one before the end of today, give me some more experience and something to do." Just when he was about to complain about how far away it seemed that they were, the cave mouth slowly started to come forward. "Looks like that is it apparently, are you ready?" He asked the girl and looked at her, hoping she was prepared for all of this that was going to happen.

Kairi had blinked a few times in shock feeling Spencer hug her, saying thank you and he understood the feeling being alone. Kairi had smiled and said "I am pretty sure a handful of people can understand the feeling. It's probably one of the most common things to feel in a lifetime." she had giggled "From here it's just piecing back things together in my life, then I am back to normal basically." she had smiled. After a moment of walking towards the cave she had looked to see Spencer nod his head saying that would think that he would like to do another one before the end of the day, Kairi had nodded herself and said "Then we'll head to the second floor and get another one done today." Then before long they had made it, looking to Spencer she had nodded her head saying that she was ready and walked in. Upon entering a Egg could be found made of Quartz and it had hatched. Kairi had unsheathed her sword as the Dragon had looked their way and with one movement! It... got one shot. Kairi had looked toward where it originally was and blinked a few times "Well... I didn't expect it to be... that easy..."

Spencer nodded when she said something about the two of them going to the second floor and starting it as soon as this one was done with. Spencer gritted his teeth and expected the worst, not knowing how strong this Dragon really could be. Spencer rolled his shoulders and hot his shield and his mace out, ready for anything. "Okay here we go." He said to himself, and was about to get into a fighting stance, but Kairi went forward and struck the beast.... it getting one shoted. Spencer stood there for a moment, in shock. Oh wow that girl is strong. He thought to himself for a moment before taking a step forward, looking at everything that was left of the creature. "Oh wow, that was.. a lot easier than I thought it was going to be." He laughed and rubbed the back of his head. "Looks like we are going to be going to the second floor a bit faster than expected huh." He smiled and clapped for a bit to Kairi. "That was really good though Kairi."

Kairi was shocked to see that it didn't take too much time at all to fight the boss at all... matter of fact, it seemed a little too easy. However the only explanation that she had for this was that this quest was designed for people who were much lower leveled. However she had straightened herself and sheathed her sword not really going to ponder much on what had just happened. She had turned to Spencer and she had said after his response "The only thing that I can say to explain what had just happened was that this boss was just designed for people who were just a little less leveled than I am... so really what I did I guess was a bit of overkill." she had giggled. Then she had shook her head as he had began to clap a little bit saying "No no, no need to do any of that. There are people who can do much more impressive things, I just have Rank 5 in a weapon is all, nothing too special to be clapping about."

"Oh well if it was over kill, still pretty great that you were able to kill the dragon so easily, that takes skill no matter who you are." He smiled at Kairi, then looked at the time. He was surprised that it was actually still pretty early in the day. Of course Kairi had killed the dragon in one attack, but he was still surprised that it happened so quickly. He sighed a bit and opened up the quest line that he was following, and saw that he was going to have to start working on the second quest with bit stronger dragon to fight instead of the weaker one the two of them took on. "So, we are heading out to fight the second dragon today. Do you want to put another one into our plans today? I'm basically open, just crafting a bit once a day and now this quest line. Up to you really because I'm definitely good to go." He smiled a bit and shrugged to the girl, he was up for really anything. I wonder what all we could do today, it would be great and weird if we did all of them today, but that sounds hectic and tiring.

  • 3 months later...

Kairi had giggled and said out to him "Well, it doesn't take much SP to get to where I am... if anything I feel like I was trying to show off more than anything which wasn't my goal at all. So... I am sorry about that." she said that with a bit of a awkward tone, however eventually she had brushed it off and continued to walk forward with Spencer back towards the main settlement, eventually he had said to her about how he was free, Kairi had smiled a bit and said out to him "Sure! I really don't have much else to do today, might as well get some more done. Plus the more we get done the more we grow." she had giggled. "However we must be a little careful, as it goes along the bosses becomes much more powerful... who even knows how strong the last portion can really be..." she had said with a bit of concern.
