[PP-F16] Assassins Creed: Blue Flag <<Swashbuckling Buccaneer>> (Jomei, Telreyna)

Recommended Posts

After finishing some paperwork, a few days after the boss meeting, Hikoru found time to explore a rumor of a new quest out with the newest update to the game. It was somewhat of a pirate-themed quest, and it seemed very interesting to him in concept. He wanted to give it a shot, but he knew he would need a crew, or at least two players that he could trust. But usually, a team was four people. Although he knew quite a few people, there were few that he truly trusted. He wanted to get into contact with Vale, but he knew that she was too busy training and resting to get her to come. He let out a sigh and turned it attention to a few other friends. He decided on two players he could trust: Jomei and Itzal, and he knew that Jomei had a girlfriend in whom he had met and he could rely on, as she would want to protect Jomei in the least. He opened up his HUD and sent a mesage to Jomei and Itzal, as he didn't have Telreyna on his friends list

After the message was sent, he made sure to set out some coffee and tea at his place, before he went to his Mega Slime Farm to get a bit of training in beforehand, to warm up with his dagger. After about 15 Minutes of warm up, and a pile of goo onto the floor later, he went back into his house to freshen up and to make sure no slime was found on his armor or hair, then went back to the living to wait for his guests to arrive.

Holding the green cloak between two fingers, Jomei dropped the fabirc to the floor. The corner of his mouth pulled into a sly smirk as his eyes looked over Telrenya, "So.. you ready?"

Jomei's shoulders would rise and fall as he inhaled and exhaled sharply, his breathing nearly matching that of Telrenya's. Beads of sweat formed on the man's forehead, the droplets trailing down his moistened skin. His olive gaze remained locked with the chocolate brown eyes of his lover, his brows raising with a breathy chortle. "Looks like you... picked up some.. new moves" the ginger said between heavy breaths, feeling the heat that radiated off of the blonde's body as the two remained in such close proximity.

"W-wait." Jomei quickly spoke out as the girl moved in an unexpected way, catching him off guard. "W-wow.. didn't realize you.. were so flexible." He said with a small chuckle, though a grunt that hinted at slight exhaustion cut his breathy laugh short. A small yellow notification flashed in the corner of his eye, notifying him that he had gotten a message from someone. Letting out another grunt, Jomei ignored the message. "Now.. is not .. the time." as it took his focus off of the task at hand for a mere moment. The ginger was quick to go back into the action, needing to switch his usually smooth motions to ones that were a bit more rough. At the climax of the two's private escapade, Telrenya surprised Jomei with another new move, allowing herself to slip around the man's body to his back. "H-Hold on." Jomei called to the woman behind him, though before he knew it, he was being penetrated from behind.

...

The ginger's gaze trailed down to the long blade of Celestial dawn as it had went through his back and out through his abdomen. With a heavy sigh, he looked back up to the sky where a box containing Telrenya's name illuminated in an orange color, signifying that she had one the single hit duel between the two. "D-damn.." he said, shaking his head "What I get for doubting your skills." he said with a chuckle, stepping forward as to move himself off of his blade. "Well, you won. So deals a deal.. I'll make dinner tonight." he said with a nervous chuckle, bringing a hand up to rub at the nape of his neck. Noticing the small yellow notification in the corner of his line of sigh yet again, the man tapped the air in front of him to read over the contents. A message signed by Hikoru, he was inviting himself and Itzal on a new quest that he had discovered, and of course, was asking Jomei to invite Telrenya along. With a smirk, the man quickly replied to the Master of Shadows, before looking to Telrenya. "It's from Hikoru.. He's inviting us on one of these newly discovered quests.. said something about pirates.. So.. down to come and be my first mate?" he said with a chuckle.

Panting heavily, Telrenya straightened her spine and lowered the golden blade of Celestial Dawn to her side. The woman wore a victorious smirk after seeing the notification that displayed her as the winner of their duel, but her brows narrowed into a playfully suspicious gaze a moment later. "And you got distracted." She said matter-of-factly, almost disappointed by the fact. She brought the tip of her rapier to its scabbard at her side, sheathing the weapon and taking a couple of steps closer to the man. "I have half a mind to call for a rematch." She placed her hands on her hips, still catching her breath as she watched him open his menus and read over a new message.

She blinked in surprise to recognize the sender's name. A man she had met on only one occasion, but a friend of Jomei's and Beatbox's alike that she had the pleasure of sharing a drink and conversation with. "Pirates?" She echoed, taking just a moment before her chocolate-brown eyes widened and practically began to sparkle. "Ohhhmygosh, this is perfect! I have just the thing!" She hurriedly went through her own menus to her inventory. Keeping Erin's Favor hanging from her wrist and Celestial Blessing around her neck as usual, the girl swapped out her typical battle attire for something much more befitting a pirate-themed quest. A color palette of cream, yellows, and greens, Telrenya gave a small bounce in the outfit she wore, looking back up to Jomei with a bright smile. "What do you think? I picked it up in Sapphire's shop after Halloween."

Itzal got a message from Hikoru about a quest on floor sixteen that involved sailing a ship.  The last time they took on something involving sailing was the Rovian Wars event and that didn't turn out all too good.  He hoped this quest was much simpler and far more easier and less threatening.  He sighed as he walked across the floor to Hikoru's house, following the coordinates he was given.  As he approached it he noted that there were two other players there whom he didn't recognize...  wait take that back he recognized them alright.  One of them from two events and the boss raids, the valentines event being most recent, as well as the Tesseleth raid and even more recently the boss meeting, and the other from...  Actually they were both from the valentines event.  He voted for the two of them.  At any rate he didn't actually know them, he just recognized their faces was all.  And their names since, well, he couldn't vote without a name.  He walked over to the group, when he noticed something.  At least one of them was wearing a pirate outfit.  Were they doing this pirate themed?  He pulled out an item he had received as a rare drop from some monster and activated it, changing his gear to match the pirate theme.  He then moved on over to them, trying to keep up a smile and not feel totally awkward about this at all.  "Hey there.  Anyone know where Hik is?"  He went ahead and scanned the area for him but he wasn't seeing him just yet.

Soon after sitting, Hikoru realized that he hadn't told them how to access his house. He was about to send a message, but he realized that he hadn't checked to see if the coffee and tea had actually been filled. He stood up and went over to see that while the tea was still completely full, his coffee was almost gone. He grabbed the pot, dumping the rest of the lukewarm coffee into a cup, then took both out to the dining area and washed the dishes out, grabbing the coffee beans and grinding them into dust, then putting it into the coffee bot and put hot water inside. Soon the game registered he was making coffee, and it transformed into the piping hot beverage. His familiar, Sir Rolland, looked over it curiously. Hikoru shook his head.

"You make the option of the creamer, not the coffee itself." He said with a chuckle. Rolland just shrugged and went back to his corner, where his sweets and treats were found, and munched on a candy cane. He pet his head gently and looked to see Sutetchi, now looking old and withered, resting atop a small area made for him atop the area. He whistled and the familiar looked over, giving a squeak of welcome, and Hikoru tossed up a treat for him to nibble on. After both of his pets were taken care of, he put the coffee before sending a message to the three players of where the doorbell was located on the area, next to the large stone structure disguised as a purple gem.

Despite accepting his defeat at the hands of his fiance, Telrenya doubted that her win was due to her own skill, and instead gave credit to him being distracted by the message. Jomei rose a surprised brow as she took a step closer to close the distance between the two. The corner of the ginger's mouth pulled upwards into a smirk as he took his own step forward towards her, his chin dropping to his chest, that just barely pressed into hers, to look down at her. "Oh is that so?" he said with a small chuckle, "Well then next time I'll just make sure to shut off the notifications.." he lowered his head slightly towards the girl, ".. and I just wont take it easy on you next time." he teased her back with a bit of trash talk. Jomei's cheeks flushed a bit pink when he realized just how suggestive all of that sounded.

After checking over the message from Hikoru, and letting the blonde know that the invite was forwarded to her as well, Telrenya expressed her excitement to be dealing with Pirates. His head cocked to the side curiously as she swiftly moved through her menus to find whatever it was that was related to the task at hand. Moments later, Telrenya's avatar shone a quick white light, and her usual white and gold battle attire was swapped out for an earthy toned outfit that did fit the occasion perfectly. Wide olive eyes looked over the girl, who now sported a baggy, low cut shirt topped with a corset, and various colored cloths that serves as a belt hanging at her hip. His cheeks burned red at the new sight before letting out a breathy chuckle, "W-wow. I was not.. expecting that. You look ho- I-I mean.. you look amazing!" he stammered, his face turning more red with his slight slip up.

Following the coordinates that Hikoru had sent out to the group, the two traversed into a small cave off the beaten path. "Normally I'd think that we were going the wrong way... but knowing Hikoru.. this has to be the place." Just inside the cave, the two came to a large circular door, a skull with crossbones carved out in the center. Jomei was a bit shocked by the sinister appearance, but moved forward nonetheless. Soon after the two had arrived at the door, the third member of their party had arrived. Jomei turned to dark haired man with a small wave, "Hey Itzal. Good to see you." Turning his attention to the blonde beside him, he introduced the two. "This is my fiance, Telrenya. Tel, this is Itzal. He is another one of the front liners... Well, since we are all here.. We might as well head in and not keep Hik waiting." Following the instructions given to them by Hikoru, Jomei found the false purple gem, which served as the house's door bell. After pressing it in, he awaited for the Master of Shadows to answer the door and let them in.

Once her own cheeks had returned to their normal color with the passing of their embarrassing exchanges, Telrenya continued to wear a persistent smile nearly all the way to their destination. The excitement of the adventure that lay before them was almost overwhelming, and her eyes worked more actively than they normally would to explore and take in their surroundings as the scenery changed with their travel.

Upon arriving to the twenty-first floor and straying towards the outskirts of the main settlement, chocolate brown orbs fell upon the skull-shaped carving that was to serve as the entrance to their host's home here in Aincrad. Telrenya had to stop herself from making a face, settling for blinking in incredulity instead while Jomei made mention that this was, in fact, the place they were looking for. "This...is a home?" She asked in little more than a whisper, hardly expecting a response as her gaze ran over the foreboding exterior. Only seconds after she had begun her inspection, however, a stranger approached them. The raven-haired man seemed to be familiar to her partner by way of their introduction, in which Telrenya straightened her spine as the concept of manners returned to her. She right hand lifted to place itself lightly over her heart, and her upper body leaned forward into a bow. "Nice to meet you, Itzal." The blonde greeted with a friendly smile and a small nod.

(OOC: Since it's been awhile, Itzal is gonna be booted from the quest line and we will continue as such. Love you Itzi <3)

Hikoru heard the familiar sound of a doorbell going off. He stood up quietly from his desk, giving a low whistle to the Pumpking familiar he had, and he gave him a small pat. "Alright, be good, and no chewing on legs." He spoke quietly, but obviously playing with the familiar. The familiar nodded and covered his mouth. Hikoru just gave a small chuckle and stood, pulling up his hood as he pressed the button. From the outside, the stone rolled away, shaking the ground a bit as a tall, dark-oak door appeared behind it. He opened the door and saw the pair of people he invited with a nod. "Good to see you two. please, come in so we can plan for a moment." He spoke. He motioned through the door as he showed them the inside of his building. (photo here: Furniture is Black instead of yellow) He waited for them to enter the building, then closed the door, the stone rumbling behind them as it closed tight.

"Alright, hold on a moment." He spoke, then went to his desk in the small elevated corner of the living room, searching through the papers and files until he found what he was looking for. "There we are." He brought it down and brought the file with all the found info about the quest. "This is a rough draft, but it's the info I have. We have about 7 or 8 enemies, but the three strongest won't be brought out until the end after we defeat the lower-levels. Since I'm the strongest out of the three of us, I can take out the strongest, and I can leave you two to finish off his two lackeys. Sound like a good plan? I'm open to others"

After a moment of waiting, the the large, circular stone that sat before them began to turn, shifting to the side. As the sound of grinding stone filled their ears, a dark oak door came into view. Jomei's eyes were still on the engraved stone that had rolled out of the way when the entrance opened inward to reveal Hikoru, who invited them insdie. "Hikoru, always one for the dramatics." he said with a friendly smirk and chuckle before extending an arm and turning to Telrenya, allowing her to enter his friend's home first. The inside was almost as Jomei would have expected, cozy, yet adventurous. The large bookshelves built into the wall housed a variety of books and journals, with some deep black couches and tables set up in front of them for himself and guests. A raised portion of the room, which seemed to serve as an exposed office of sorts, contained a desk covered with scattered parchment, the wall adjacent to it also had different papers pinned to it. The ginger blinked in astonishment, "Quite the set up you've got here.." he said with a whistle, the sound of the circular stone rolling back into place convincing him to take a few more steps away from the entrance to avoid the shaking ground.

As the man moved himself to the raised portion to retrieve some papers, Jomei took a short few steps to the opposite side of the chamber to look at the bookshelves that stood a bit taller than him. The tips of his fingers ran horizontally along the leather binding of the books, taking quick glances at the title of each. Jomei vaguely remembered Hikoru mentioning something about being an info broker.. was this all information about Aincrad and SAO

Once Hikoru had retrieved what he was looking for, he returned to where Jomei and Telrenya waited for him. On the parchment, various notes were scribbled on it about a possible quest containing pirates. That definitely was something new that he had not heard of before in this world. His plan, so far, was for Hikoru to take on the strongest of the enemies, while Telrenya and Jomei handled the other two mini-bosses. "Alright, so that still leaves 4 or 5 other low leveled pirates. How do we want to handle them?"

Telrenya bowed her head ever-so-slightly as she took the first couple of steps into Hikoru's chambers. A soft smile played on her lips as she vaguely recognized the player. Their first and only meeting had been what felt like ages ago, but it was an encounter she wouldn't easily forget. "Thank you," She breathed as they were invited in, and just as Jomei's did, her chocolate-brown eyes began to wander over the study that served as Hikoru's home. Telrenya hadn't seen much of a library outside of the shelving that lined various shops. None of them seemed to have so much in the way of literature though, and so the cozy room quickly reminded her of the sights she was more used to seeing back at home.

Talks quickly made their way to the task at hand: this quest about pirates. The blonde absent-mindedly brought her hands up to adjust and needlessly tighten the pale yellow sash that sat across her forehead, giving a tiny nod and chiming in with what little she could think to offer. "We're all damage dealers, right? I have passable defensive stats, but bringing along some potions wouldn't hurt. Do you know if we have the option to take them on one at a time? Or will we have to go in five-on-three?" She frowned with curiosity.

Hikoru listened to their thoughts and scratched his chin. He picked up the paper and read their stats. Fairly low, something that he didn't really think that they needed to stress about. He gave a sigh and thought. This fight would take place on a giant ship, so for them to get this done quietly and quickly, he would have to use Vanish, and have to use it quite a bit. He opened up his skill list and read the mod he had, and saw that it had an ability of immediately entering stealth after killing a mob or opponent. His eyebrow raised a bit and he nodded. "Well, after some quick double-checking, I can see that I can take out an opponent, eliminate him, then immediately enter stealth and attack from it the next round." He said with a smile. "So that's 2 out of 5 taken out in the first few seconds of us being there. After that, both of you charge in and take one out, then I'll attack the last one. Then, I leave the two strong ones to you two, and I'll enter stealth and take out the captain once you're done. Sound like a plan?" He asked, a proud smile on his lips. His build was made for situations like this. Take out enemies one at a time stealthily, and nobody would even notice before they were ambushed and out-numbered.

"I would assume the first five lackeys would be at the same time.. though I may be wrong." He brought a hand up to rest on his chin in thought, "If they are separated.. it may work to our advantage.. Either taking out one group before the second caught wind of us, or attacking both groups at the same time." Jomei's armored covered shoulders rose and fell with a small shrug, "But really, we won't know that information for sure until we get there." His eyes rose from the papers Hikoru had laid out in front of them to look at Hikoru, "Another question is where we will be fighting them.. If they are pirates, I could bet it will be on a ship of sorts.."

Jomei snapped a finger as a small idea came to him, "What if we try and catch the pirates as they are loading up their ship. If they are docked, there's a good chance they will be prepping their boat for their trip at sea. That way, we may be able to catch them off guard and separated, before taking on the crew's higher ups."

A wide smile was growing across Telrenya's lips as Jomei mentioned the simple subject of the venue for their climactic battle. She'd gotten to do more than she'd ever imagined possible in this make-believe world up until now, but clashing swords with a band of cutthroat pirates on the high seas was sounding more and more like some childhood dream she'd never even realized until the opportunity quite literally presented itself. Once again, out of habit, the blonde duelist adjusted herself and fiddled with her rapier as it sat on her hip, balancing the golden hilt and resting the palm of her hand against the pommel.

Telrenya rocked onto the balls of her feet just once before planting back down onto her boots. She was eager, and while she knew the importance of planning and forethought, she was also bored by the speculation they were left to. Without crouching hidden behind barrels, whispering amongst themselves while observing the resources and patterns of a pirate crew in front of them, Telrenya felt she had nothing more to contribute. Instead, she considered goading the lust for adventure that surely drew them all to Aincrad in the first place. "Do we have a location, at least? We've got an idea of how many enemies we'll have to face, so maybe it's best to get going. If it really is at a dock or on a ship, we might have a chance to scout the place out beforehand, too. Then we can really have a plan of attack." She suggested, forcing some reason to her rhyme.

Hikoru listened to the two of them and nodded. He listened as they speculated and he had to agree, scouting would be good for his notes, plus it could help them to learn their patterns as to get them all grouped up and take out quickly. He scratched his chin, then grabbed the papers to take another look. "It says that they are docked, on the 16th Floor. That should be pretty easy to find. Just look for the Jolly Roger flag on top of it and go from there." He spoke, reading what his info brokers had written. "I'm guessing there will be a large amount of barrels. If we wanted to get crafty, we could hide in them to get aboard, but I don't like that idea. If they find us we're trapped and they could throw us overboard." He said with a chuckle. "And I don't want to find out how it feels to drown." He looked at them. "So lets hide around the barrels, find their pattern. I myself may go to the Crows Nest to get a better look, then when I find my targets I'll jump down and strike, then disappear again." He looked at them. "It's at that moment you guys jump in at your targets and take them out. The Lackeys are priority. They may not hit hard, but the DoT they can give if we ignore them wouldn't be good."

The Sixteenth Floor, so at least they had a location. From there, it was just a matter of finding the docks and looking for the tall masts that housed a flag with the typical skull and crossbones on it. "Alright then, so we have a plan, we have a place.. Might as well get going then." Jomei said with a smirk as he gestured with his thumb towards the door. He could tell from Telrenya's fidgety movements that her excitement was still bubbling up inside of her and that she just really wanted to go and fight pirates. The man's lips curled into a soft smile at the look of the girl, still dressed in her pirate themed garb. "Lets head down to Floor Sixteen then!" Turning on his heel, Jomei strode towards the door to Hikoru's house, pausing at the stone in place that guarded the actual door, waiting for the home's owner to open it for them.

After a short trip back into the center of Tomoika, the small group of players vanished as the teleporter warped them down to the volcanic island that was Floor Sixteen. Zugaikotsushima, the floor's main settlement, was tough enough of a word for Jomei to pronounce, even without his Irish accent making it even more difficult. The town, or village would have been a more appropriate word, was mostly formed out of huts made from animal hide and bone, the natives of the area wearing outfits of a similar make. As his eyes scanned the city around them, his vision trailed up to the huge volcano that towered high above the settlement, continuously puffing out plumes of dark smoke. "Alright, so lets start moving towards the shore and see if we can find these docks."
