[SP-F1] <Earning A Living> You'll pay to watch me train?

Recommended Posts

I've laid low for nearly 5 months now. I'd say it is about time that I started working on integration, I doubt people remember enough of the real world to be too concerned with who I was at this point and time.

Magnus stretched, reaching his arms to the sky. Sky, hah, that was a joke. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he hoped he would see the sky and all of his old crew again but today was not that day. He'd been staying in the shadows of Starting City on Floor 1 ever since he joined the game, intent with finding a way to log out for the first few weeks. Theory crafting on methods of escape from the virtual world ran rampant in the first weeks, and he felt quite at home among the discussions of ways to force the game to log you out.

I've laid around doing nothing long enough. Clearly, if I want out, I'm going to have to earn it.

In the time he'd remained in the shadows, people had begun setting up shops and learning trade skills to make this virtual nightmare seem more like the world they had left behind. The entire idea was smart, too, since integrating yourself into the ins and outs of of the society meant that you were far less likely to be killed off by the others.

Given any other game, it'd have been what I did.....

Magnus laughed heartily. One of his favorite pass times was watching horror movies in the real world with......

Suddenly, he shot up from the dirt he was sitting on. Every game he had ever played, he had a purpose and a drive to get to endgame. Normally, he had his guild and his crew, but they had been unable to acquire day one copies as far as he knew. No, the purpose this time was to get home to his Bassett Hound, Sherlock. He was sure someone had been taking care of it, probably his fraternity brothers upon discovering he'd been locked in this game, but he was gonna get out of here and get back to watching Horror Movies with his dog.

Well, I better go ahead and see what I can do. I don't want to craft, and I don't want to gather. Wait a minute!

The light in his head clicked so violently that if there had actually been a bulb, it would have shattered. He'd seen performers in the streets, singing and dancing and players enjoying them heartily. THAT was it. He could get himself acquainted with combat movements AND entertain. Perhaps a good place to start is with a simple backflip.

(OOC - Waiting on a confirmation on how the Performer "craft" functions before continuing)
