When the hour of judgement had descended upon them, Bistro was nowhere to be seen.

Intriguingly, she'd been hiding out in one of the tower's higher floors. And it was at one of her client's calls that she would even bother to show up at the fight. But the message in her mail wasn't exactly a rally for novices to initiate combat.

No. The only reason she would even toy with the idea of stepping foot into the Town of Beginnings this day was to run the army supplies. And this time, she would need some lullabies.

Bistro showed up, but the shopkeeper of Magnolia wasn't present. A fighter, then? In the time of such duress, perhaps they might not know of a handful of missing crystals. But of course, the broker would leave her payment. There had to be some structure still in a lawless land, she decided.

But this? She tossed the crystals around in her hands. This was a necessary evil.

Business as usual even in a time of crisis. NIGHT slipped through Magnolia's front door with a handful of music sheets she'd spotted from another player's store just the other day, and a small pouch full of col. For some reason, the physical representation of money always felt much better for her to trade with, the weight of it shifting from her palms to the papers as she set her items onto the musician's counter.

"Some col for your time?" Neither of them would need to see either ends of their transaction had they managed to escape the game, but formalities were formalities. "They seem like tough orders, so I'll be patient."

NIGHT didn't stay long afterwards, stepping away from the counter with a shifted gaze and an aura of unease.

The music sheets were greatly appreciated.

And NIGHT gave her the loveliest songs once again! …Maybe it was time to apologize to Claude for looking down so much on video game music. With two songs she greatly liked on the music rack, the past couple of weeks hardly felt like a chore. 

She didn’t give the quiet woman a date for her to come by and claim her crafts due to the tough nature of her request, so she figured NIGHT could just come by whenever she felt like it. And when she spotted the player’s familiar visage from her counter, Arabelle would have all ten crystals prepared for a trade.

“Thanks for the songs; they’re just as good as the one before,” the performer said, smiling. “Please come by again.”

And so NIGHT was patient. After all, she'd given her word to be so. It was when she'd realized how low her stock was after sorting out her inventory did she finally decide to return. Just in luck when she found out her songs were ready.

"--Hold that thought," she'd mention after receiving the performer's crafts. A few rounds about the display cases and she'd retrieved another handful of crystals, her sharp eyes desperately clamoring for the instant Clair de Lune the moment she'd spotted it. Once they were laid upon the counter, NIGHT paid for them. Then and only then did she take her leave.

"Thank you very much!"
