Virtues:

 

 

Honest - Having seen the full extent of what lies can do, Jax found himself believing that lies were evil things, and always thought it was better to stay quiet than say anything that could be considered dishonest. When he was younger his father’s adultery caused his mother to become a different person, ever since Jax felt disconnected and he blamed this on the nature of lies.

 

Determination - It doesn’t matter what Jax’s goal is he will work hard and stay motivated to achieve it no matter the cost whether this is protecting someone close to him, or not  putting up with someone else it doesn’t matter. Naturally he wants to help people because deep down he wants to be accepted himself.

 

Loyal - Whilst this trait hasn’t been seen much in his life because of the ways others have treated him and his lack of self-worth, when he does find a group he feels a part of he will do everything he can to make sure they are safe and secure.

 

 

 

Flaws:

Blunt - The people around Jax tend to walk on eggshells simply because of the fact he can be so brutally honest with them. Sometimes the truth hurts and if roused from his generally quiet state expect, a calm calculated truth that cuts sharper than his dagger.

 

Unsociable - Jax can cope with people if he has to, but long years being around people who have been unkind to him has left his like for people tarnished somewhat and his tolerance only goes so far. He lacks the social skills that so many his age have and as such can find himself feeling awkward and out of place.

 

Foolhardy - His determination and his care of people can often lead him to doing things that are considered dangerous and sometimes stupid. Whether he does it for other people or for himself, he has found himself in trouble many times because of a lack of thinking.

 

Self-Loathing - His disfigurement is something he is stuck with and while he is used to it, other people aren’t and he knows about it. There are times when Jax finds himself questioning whether these people are right and he tends to keep people in the dark about himself because of it.

Story Thus Far

Jax joined Sword Art Online as ‘Asylum’, Two years ago to get away from the attention his eye brought him from the people in the real world. He joined because he could be whoever he wanted to be with no judgement befalling him. When the system closed and changed everybody’s avatars to a likeness of their real bodies, Jax stooped to an all time low and spent much time wallowing...he felt cursed, even in this world he couldn’t be someone else. Now he seeks to regain some sense of composure by getting stronger.
