Profile
Username: Myth
Real name: Roy Amaryllis
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 5’11”

About: History/personality

Roy was born to a loving family. He was raised by supportive parents and overall had a great childhood. His family was well off or anything but they had decent jobs and kept the household stable. From a young age Roy got into a few hobbies such as soccer, skateboarding, and even fishing. Growing up he kept to these hobbies, even joining multiple high level club teams for soccer to develop his abilities further. Roy also started learning tricks on his skateboard but skateboarding and fishing were more of hobbies for him that he did every incentive in a while or with friends. Like many young boys Roy also got into video games. He enjoyed them and he found them fun, he played many different genres of games ranging from action and adventure to even first person shooters.

Getting into Highschool Roy joined his school’s soccer team and won state his freshman year, with him starting varsity and even leading their league in goals scored and getting fourth in assists. With such an amazing career he was projected to carry the team to the championship again his sophomore year. Around the end of his freshman year a revolutionary type of gaming was released, VR. The newest game that was about to release was called Sword Art Online, SAO for short. The beta testers gave positive reviews about this game and sales were going to be off the chart. With such good reviews and feedback Roy decided he definitely needed to try it. His friends were gonna be totally jealous when he showed them.

Staying up all night waiting in line, Roy was finally able to get his hands on the VRMMO Sword Art Online. He raced home and set up the nerve gear and instantly got started. When he booted it up he was amazed at what it could do. It took a bit of time but soon enough he made it through the tutorial which included setting up his character and finally got into the game. The Town of Beginnings. When Roy logged on as Myth, he looked at his own body to see a large muscular man. He had slicked back black hair and a scar over his right eye. He truly looked like a badass that would run around swinging two handed greatswords with one hand.

Not long after he logged on however he was teleported into the main plaza where some hooded figure, soon introducing himself as Kayaba, began speaking to them, delivering bad news. The log out button was gone and if they died, they died. Like really, they’d actually die in the real world. Their only salvation was the best all 100 floors and their respective bosses. The next part was they were at least given a gift. Kayaba may not be such a bad guy after all right? I mean, free stuff is always good. When Myth took it out he was disappointed to see a mirror, and before he knew it he was looking at himself square in the face. Macho man Myth was gone and in its place was your boy Roy. Looking around it seemed everybody else was also changing, changing into their real selves.

Everybody had one thing in common though, fear. Everybody had fear and panic spreading through them at the news of they were trapped and could very well die. Roy, now Myth, being a realist looked at the situation from an outside and calm perspective. All they had to do was beat the game right? Lance nodded to himself before wading through the crowd and heading out into the plains. This would be easy! Did these people not know who they were in the presence of? Destroyer of worlds, world record game smasher, the man, the myth, the legend himself! He was the almighty Myth! Two days and he’d have freed everybody of this tower! And it all started here.

THWUMP! Myth fell and landed on his rear as he watched his HP drop into the yellow. “Damn, this must be the floor 100 boss in disguise! The boss snuck down here to take me down before I could rush through the game!” Myth stood up and glared at the basic Boar standing in front of him. Once again the boar charged him and Myth closed his eyes and stepped to the side. When he looked again he saw the boar on the ground, seemingly tripping over his foot. Myth grinned a devilish grin and sprinted over to the boar and began bashing down on it with his sword over and over. “I am the mighty Myth! Boar slayer! Eh? Wait this ain’t a boss.. I barely got any EXP.”

Oh~ what a journey this will be.
Virtues:

Calm- Myth if anything can be known for being calm. Despite the situation no matter how stressful or tense Myth is usually able to stay calm even under all the pressure. While at times he does buckle down and get angry and such, it’s only normal. He’s human, however he is able to ‘reset’ rather quickly.

Realist- There’s a saying that goes the pessimist walks with his head down and hits his head. The optimist walks with his headband up and loses his footing. And the realists walks with his head straight and adjusts his path accordingly. This describes Myth as he is able to take good look at a situation and try to see things from multiple angles, being able to take a step back and observe.

Brave- Myth is very courageous, while many may run in hide from fear Myth isn’t the type to do so. He feels that being brave will inspire others to join him and by having this courage he can help others become stronger and bring them up with him.

Flaws:

Overambitious- Myth his big goals, one of them being to clear floor 100. That is easier said than done and to others it isn’t unfathomable. A lot of times he may put oddball the difficulty of the situation at hand due to him thinking it’s nothing compared to floor 100.

Stubborn- Myth doesn’t give up on things that aren’t important to him easily. If he sets his mind on something he will do everything he can to carry it out. This makes it hard for him to listen to other reasoning at times and sometimes clouds his judgement.

Sarcastic- While he mainly uses sarcasm for humor, it is possible to take it the wrong way. Myth uses sarcasm in a way to poke at people and tease them jokingly but others could take offense to it mistakenly.
