Gemini clutched the gash in his chest and staggered. Miaki noticed Gemini's right foot begin to glow and knew it was a <> sword skill. "Shi-" Miaki jumped back as Gemini performed a backflip technique called <> an unarmed counterpart to the katana sword skill. The attack just barely missed Miaki's face as he moved to evade. Miaki decided while Gemini was still in mid air to use a sword skill himself. Crouching low to the ground, Miaki charged his blade then leapt in the air, turning his body. When Miaki landed he released the sword skill, «Tsumujiguruma», a 360 degrees attack which damages everyone in range of the attack and stuns as well. (OOC: Roll 8 to hit with 1 additional DMG and roll a crit to stun for (1) turn.)

Gemini landed back on the ground just as Miaki was releasing the sword skill and had no time to move. He was thrown back several feet and landed on his back.

Gemini flew back several yards on the battlefield before he slid to a stop to attack. He had no time to recover before Miaki was already rushing forward with his blade held high to damage him. "What's the matter Gemini? Losing your edge?!" Miaki yelled with a sinister grin on his face. The blood lust was quelling once again inside him as he closed in on the downed fighter.

Miaki came baring down with his blade and stabbed Gemini in the center of his chest. Leaning forward Miaki formed a smile and looked Gemini in the eye. "How does that feel for you? Huh?"

Gemini reached off to the side and grab a fist sized rock that was in arms reach. With it he bashed Miaki in the side of the head just shy of hitting his temple. "Gaaah damnit!" Miaki yelled as he pulled away from Gemini. Gemini stood up and saw he had time and ran for his katana laying on the ground several meters away from the two. By the time Miaki recovered Gemini was armed once again with his copy of <>. Miaki looked at the blade in Gemini's hand while still holding the side of his head with his left hand. "Well you sure have resourcefulness down when it comes to being my double."

"Just using my resources. Isn't that how we phrase it?"

The two ran towards each other looking for blood.

As Miaki slashed at Gemini, Gemini used a thrusting-type sword skill and stabbed Miaki in the abdomen. Miaki took a step back getting the blade out of his body and took a swipe at Gemini's face.

Miaki's swing wasn't extended enough and he missed the attack.

Gemini pressed the advantage and continued attacked Miaki, managing to hit him again this time in the arm. Miaki blocked as many incoming attacks as he could but he was getting tired and the rage inside wasn't fueling him at the moment. Miaki managed to block and move around Gemini as the imposter was still moving forward with the momentum.

Gemini's speed in moving forward was too fast for Miaki to go for a hit.

Gemini spun around on a dime and hit Miaki again. Their health bars were tied for the first time since their duel began. "Getting a little close aren't you Miaki." Gemini said as the two encircled each other. "How's it feel nearing death?" Gripping his blade, Miaki lunged forward to attack.

Miaki struck Gemini with decent chunk of damage and was ready for Gemini's counterattack. Holding his ground until the last second Miaki dodged Gemini's sword skill attack.

Miaki's health was in the single digits. He stopped looking at the HP bar and channeled out the low health alert ringing in his ears. The blood rage inside him started to swell up and fuel him with anger towards the poser before him.

Miaki's HP was nearly on the ropes. Two more critical hits from Gemini and his avatar would be killed and the NerveGear on his head would send a microwave charge destroying his brain and ending his life. This wasn't what was on Miaki's mind however. His mind was now fueled with anger and the obsession with killing the imposter before him. With his katana firmly held in his hands, Miaki charged forward planning to bring this long-term fight to an end.
