Ruby had looked over noticing that Hestia had been getting a bit frustrated with the battle, the elves had seemed to be missing over and over and the times they would hit they would just get a critical strike upon her. Ruby nodded her head and looked forward, however as she had tried to use a lower end sword art to finish off the Headhunter she wasn't too used to how the Sword Art works, and ended up tripping on her feet. Ruby's eyes had opened widely and she had fell straight to the ground. However thankfully the enemies didn't take advantage of her falling onto the ground and instead continued to focus down the target that isn't moving. Almost all of them had hit her, two took thorns, however the other did yet another critical strike, and the other also fell onto the ground.

I look towards the group of assassins as i quickly activate my sword art as i move forward and swings my sword around as i cut into the enemies with my blade hitting every single one of them except for the already weakened one with my sword knocking them down a considerable amount. Watching as one bursts into crystals as the remaining three just glare at me with absolute hatred for what i had just done. With no words they prep themselves to strike me down as fast as they would be able to do so. I raise my shield up and having a confident smile on my face at how quickly things seemingly changed into myself and Ruby's favor for this fight as i look at the amount of enemies left figuring that it is only a matter of time till they all get knocked into oblivion.

After Ruby's pathetic display, she had tried to get up from the ground. While she had been trying to get up from the ground the Elves had tried to attack once more, and one by one they had tried to hit Hestia, all but one succeeded and one had even landed yet another critical hit. Ruby had gained a bit of a angered tone seeing these Elves just constantly get these crits that she had moved forward on the Assassin and ended its life with one punch straight to the jaw. After her strike she had taken a few steps away from the crowd and with a sigh and a smile she had said out to Hestia "Two down, two left. However their luck is insane, in fact all the monsters today that we saw have gained such incredible luck today. Maybe me or you, maybe even both of us happen to be cursed." she had giggled.

I look towards the remaining two dark elves as i move over towards Ruby and activates energize revitalizing her up to a decent amount that should be enough to handle the opponents with her melee attacks. i smile towards the blonde haired fighter with a small chuckle as i rub the back of my head. Well i am willing to bet that i am definitely cursed since this seems to happen to me almost daily at points i swear. I say towards the blonde with a chuckle as i look towards the two dark elves that are glaring daggers at myself as i just shrug use to that sort of stare from mobs. Not really being phased all that much from people glaring at me at this point since humanoid mobs do that all the time when near death or rather close to death. I glance over towards my familiar to see Kuro totally fine and seemingly healthy as i just smile rather glad that at least he is doing alright for the most part.

Ruby had giggled and said out to her "Well judging how I have nearly died like several times in the past year I am sure that my luck is somewhat terrible." she had looked to the two, each of them had half their HP left and she just needed to land two good blows for them to be easily taken out. However not being patient and thinking about her strike she had simply moved forward where one of the Elves had simply tripped her onto the ground. However the two looked down at Ruby then back at Hestia shaking their heads. The rogue had moved first however had missed its attack by a long shot, and the other had stabbed her successfully, however all it really managed to do was do more damage to its eventual doom. Ruby had planted her elbows into the ground and pushing herself up she had said out "Yeah my luck is just horrible."

I look towards the last two remaining dark elves as i charge forward myself once more activating my sword art as i cut into one of the elves with four wide arcing swings of my blade cutting its health into a range where Ruby could kill the elf as i back away from it with a smile upon my face at the rather great success of what had just happened. I look towards the last remaining one that looks relatively healthy with a cocky grin. Well that is two done, and one out the door soon Rubes. I say over towards the healer with a thumbsup and a smile on my face. Feeling rather happy that this fight is almost over, and with that it would mean being able to relax and just head back towards the main settlement. Feeling like i have learned enough from these dark elves to get an idea of what had happened to the rest of the dark elves from that war if they had lived through it like the wide had done so.

Ruby had pushed herself back up from the ground, in mean time she had watched Hestia attack out against the two, putting one of them closer towards death. Ruby had smirked when she had seen that there was a opportunity to end its life. She had waited for their attacks to be done and over with before she striked, as soon as the Scout striked and hit her, she had moved forward and slammed her fist against its jaw ending its life. Ruby had straightened herself and said out to the Rogue and said "Well, well, well... looks like you are the only one left. And with how you have been attacking how well do you think this is going to end? Needless to say this is the end for you. This was a battle you were never destined to win." she had raised her fists in the air ready to strike one last time.

I look over towards the last Dark elf with a smile on my face as i rush forward while Ruby is talking to it as i quickly cut into it with rapid strikes moving around it like a dance while cutting into it with powerful strikes watching the health tick down bit by bit. Once i see the sword art end i back away from the elf as i just smile happily knowing that the next strike against it is practically its death if it procts my thorns and Ruby misses i could then go in and end the fight with my strongest Sword art. I raise my shield upwards with a smile feeling rather excited at knowing that this will almost all be over. You're up Ruby! I call over towards the healer with a nod of my head. My familiar Kuro just flies on over towards me and stands by my side its front part of its body lowered towards the ground while growling at the dark elf.

Ruby had looked over to Hestia and simply nodded her head as she had been up after she attacked it putting it into range for her to end it. Ruby had made the motion of cracking her knuckles and walking forward she had slammed her fist against his jaw dealing a critical hit to end it off. Overkill, however Ruby still liked the fact that she had ended it in a critical attack, or in a way... in style. Ruby had taken a deep breath and was thankful that she had just enough energy to get past this battle, opening her eyes again and blinking a few times the rewards page had appeared before her eyes, she had looked back to Hestia and said with a bit of a smile "Man, getting high loot like this brings me back to a time when I barely got any form of loot, needless to say I have been broke for the majority of my time here in SAO." she had nervously chuckled rubbing the back of her head.

I chuckle a bit at Ruby's words as i shrug my shoulders towards the blonde haired healer. Well at the very least during our time looting we did get a unidentified weapon we can have Kairi identify for us. She might get you some unique hand wraps if we get lucky you know? That or we could try to get a rapier for Tel, or Jomei to use since i am certain they wouldn't mind some help with that possibly. I say with a small shrug trying to think of people who wouldn't put damage on there weapons and wouldn't mind the idea of a weapon unique enhancement in the very end as i look towards Ruby. Well i guess that is something we can talk about on the way back. Lets go back home ruby i think i've found out enough to get an idea for what is going on here. i don't know who is ordering this to happen, but the why has become rather obvious to myself. I say towards the girl with a nod of my head as i then start making my way back towards the underdark with my familiar at my side.

Ruby had nodded her head and said out to her "Well, we can only hope. Finding unique enhancements is very hard to find, and due to the fact Kairi is still a really early rank, its almost unlikely that she would even find anything cool on the weapon." she had looked over to Purobolos which had floated back down from the sky from being in lookout duty, kissing the top of his head she had said to him while patting his head "You did a good job my little monster, however you could of been with me to fight against them." she had giggled. Afterward she had looked back to Hestia which had said it was a good enough topic to speak about while walking back home, Ruby had smiled and said "Alrighty Ember, lets head on home. Speaking of which what kind of enhancement would be good enough fo-" before she could finish her statement she had taken a few steps forward and tripped. Seeing a bulge in the ground she had began to dig a bit and found some form of a Ancient Treasure Chest.

I chuckle softly as i rub the back of my head at hearing Ruby's words knowing that they are most likely true, but very easy to overcome considering the  amount of COL that i have on my person. Well i'm certain by the time we get to Kairi she will have enough ranks in merchant for us to be happy with in terms of getting us a possible enhancement. i say in a positive and optimistic tone of voice towards the blonde fighter as we make our way back toward the underdark until Ruby manages to find a chest as i glance on over to it after she would point it out. Huh...seems like you are a chest magnet really. Well lets see what kind of loot that it has. I say with a nod of my head as i glance towards Ruby to do so assuming she has some secondary skills to help with loot finding in chests possibly. Well honestly for a weapon enhancement depending on who would end up getting it would be difficult to see. For something like a rapier user maybe something like fallen. Or if it was Spencer definitely some lifesteal would be real good for him to have on a weapon to make sure he can continue gaining some health during combat. I say towards Ruby with a nod of my head.

Ruby had looked up and giggled playfully and said "I can't help it, I am just so attractive that so many chests want to end up in my hands. Both actual chests, and you know." Purobolos had rolled his eyes at her comment before shaking her head and letting out a grumble. "H-hey! I'll have you know many females call me attractive okay?" Purobolos had shook her head again and looked the other way, Ruby had sighed saying "At least I just hope so...", then moved to unlock the Treasure Chest. After opening it, speaking of the devil they had found yet another Unidentified Weapon, Ruby had smiled and said "Well... looks like we have two in our possession to hand Kairi. All we have to do is hope that it can get something cool. I think Holy, Fallen, or even Phase would be something the two would use."

I chuckle at Ruby's rather bad joke while shaking my head from side to side at how bad it is. Mmmhmm keep telling yourself that Ruby. I say in a joking tone of voice towards her first little sentence as i pat her gently on the shoulder with a amused smile on my face as i pass right by her as i then continue on our way towards the underdark as we have to travel through the rather big forest that might've taken us awhile to get through. Having not checked the time at all, so not knowing how long it would take to get back towards the settlement in any capacity. When hearing mention of another unidentified weapon i do smile and nod my head at that fact as i make a mental note to take them to Kairi after i buy a large amount of stock from her with the COL i will be needing to spend to get her up to speed on her merchant ranking. Not caring to support Shield's monopoly of goods when we can have our own Shield but for are guild.

Ruby had sighed as she had looked back to Hestia then back at the chest making her comment about how she at least hopes so, feeling her pat her back had made her feel a bit better about it though, she had been single for a while and ever since then she hasn't been able to get back into a relationship which has made her a little depressed. However pushing her own problems aside she had stood back up and declared about the new weapon that they had acquired. She had looked back forward and looked down at the ground, afterward she had looked up to Hestia and asked out to her "Do you find me... attractive? I am not trying to be forward or anything, its just..." she had sighed and looked back down onto the path and said "Sometimes in this world is hard to believe such things. Especially with so many people with their own agendas and really don't have time for any of the romance stuff. It makes me feel like I am just here as a healer you know?"

Upon hearing the question i immediately look at her feeling rather awkward about having to answer such a thing as i look towards the ground trying to figure out how to accurately respond to such a question. Feeling my cheeks slightly burn up with a blush in embarrassment as i think about that. Well uhmm...you shouldn't need like my approval or anything Ruby. You have to have confidence that you know what you are doing, and that you have to have confidence in yourself and your appearance you know? I say towards her while looking slightly towards the ground while i wait for the blush to fade away. I keep to the pace that i am going at to not seem like i wish to avoid conversing with Ruby the entire time, but really wishing she picks up on the obvious body language that i don't find this a comfortable subject to speak about. My familiar glancing between myself and Ruby with some confusion on my reaction.

"I know but..." she had said out as Hestia had spoken out, she had almost seemed like she was really emotionally distraught about this sort of thing, she had gathered her emotions back together and said still looking down upon the ground "I can't control how others feel about me, I feel like I am stunning but... to some like those thugs that tried to find me again called me nothing more than a sl*t, and it really hurts to be called such a thing. Especially here when teamwork and working with other people is very very important. And just... it does hurt my confidence a little. And... I try my best to compliment everyone, but... I just never seem to get anything in return. Which is why Purobolos is always reminding me of it." she had raised her voice a little bit looking at Purobolos. Purobolos simply looked at Ruby and blinked a few times, he didn't know he was doing something wrong, he just looked... confused.

I rub the back of my head as i look towards the ground really wishing Ruby had caught on i didn't wish to talk anymore about this. Just feeling a bit awkward about all of this, but knowing that this is kinda important for the blonde healer for some reason also. Well it is more so important what you think about yourself Ruby, and i am certain people appreciate the compliments you can give out. However, it is about how they look they will most likely just seeing it as you flirting with them or something if you do it frequently and they don't really feel obligated to return a compliment that was meant to be flirty you know? I say trying to offer maybe some insight to what is going on for the girl to try and understand what is happening. Feeling that i am possibly doing more harm then actual good for the girl with my comments as i can only hope in the end they help her out to some extent. I glance forward and finds the entrance to the underdark as i take it down all the way and makes my way towards the main settlement.

Ruby had listened to Hestia speak and with a sigh she had said out to her "Yeah... I suppose you are right. I am sorry for bringing this sort of thing up, I know you aren't the best at this sort of conversation, I just wanted to let some frustration out I guess. Sorry for asking you, you don't need to answer it." she had smirked a little but trying to get her out of the depressing mood, and with a wink and in a somewhat cheered up mood she said out to her "Because I already know you find me attractive." she had giggled walking down the staircase with Hestia. After a moment they had walked toward the main settlement in which Ruby had turned to face Hestia and hugged her tightly for a moment saying to her "Thank you for keeping me company today, and getting a handful of things done with me today. I really appreciate it Ember." she had then let go after her statement.

I breathe a sigh of relief with the conversation over with as i hug the blonde healer when she does so to me taking the rather comforting gesture as i look over to her. Yeah thanks for being here for me the entire day basically i kinda needed the support since today has been a rather interesting day i will call it. I say as i glance towards the side as i then take out my notebook and write down the newest information that has been gained about this floor as i then glance right back up towards the blonde haired healer and gives a gentle smile. Well i guess this is where we part ways. i will take the weapons to Kairi, and you can just relax and enjoy your day and do what you want really. I say towards the healer with a shrug of my shoulders and a smile as i give a small wave as i take my half of the loot we have made today and then goes on over towards the teleport gate and stands upon it alongside my familiar. Teleport, Snowfrost. I say as i get transported.
