When Dazia failed to catch up to Yinangi, the Hostess began to explain the combat competition. Thus, Dazia would have to leave this matter of a possible bad influence for another time. "D**n...I guess I'll just get back to this later." Dazia returned to the other players, and listened to the Hostess's explanation of the fight that would occur. She mentioned something about a breakbar, something Dazia did not fully understand. "Is this something I have to break to get to the mob, or is it something the mob has or can do that can be broken?" When the combat began, and one of the battle competition participants rushed in to attack all three of the Giant Crabs that appeared, Dazia decided to try going in from behind on the one that had the lightest blow dealt to it. The Giant Crab might not have seen Dazia, but the moment she rushed towards it from behind, hoping to thrust it's underside, it's forelegs lifted as the back turned toward Dazia, and thus her blade bounced off the hard surface, not to mention the fact that Dazia herself crashed into said surface, and she found herself on the ground. "D**n it..."

And, the fight has begun. Hazado charged in and the crabs raised there claws to try to protect themselves from the axe that cleaved thru them and leved red stripes on their hard shell. The healht bars dropped but on the third vrab, also the blue bar below the health drop about a third. The three mobs tiny black eyes got focused on the male that had hit all three of them. They snipped and clicked in the air with their claws before they started to run to him. One tried to to hit the axe wielder, but failed, only snipping air. The second on the other hand, saw the guy wasn’t alone and instead tried to snip on a female with pink and brown hair, but he as well missed its target. The third one ignored both the dual hair-coloured girl and the axe dude and instead went for the third participant. But the crabs seemed to be cursed since the tird one missed as well. Not a good start start for the crabs.

It seemed like his companions in combat did not have much luck as it seemed they all missed there attack, "Well next time better," he said getting ready again. The crabs were not really focusing on Hazado alone and they were after his companions in combat as well, "Oi Crabs, I'm your main threat here, Leave those two alone and get here," he said. He got the grin on his face again as he looks around to see where the crabs all where. One at Neo and the other one was with the other girl. "Watch out, Don't want to hit you," he said and he started waving his axe around, It went left and right. It seemed that the first crab was not having anything from this and dug under the attack while both the second Crab and the last crab got hit in the back and both got knocked down to the ground not moving for a while.

After hanging back for a bit, it seemed that one of the crabs wanted to focus their attention on her. They were going to live to regret that choice. She quickly used the shaft of her parasol to knock one of the crabs onto their side, then got it underneath one of the other crabs as she opened it, flinging it out a little ways. In one more smooth motion, she brought the parasol up to her shoulder to shade herself from the sun.  She looked towards Hazado, who seemed to be doing much better in this competition in her. She didn't mind so much, it would be quite unfair if she ended up winning more than one competition.

I might need to consider making an actual weapon like this, it really is quite handy. I can have it for utility while still maintaining combat effectiveness. Maybe I'll have it made later. I don't think many blacksmiths would be up to the task of making a parasol as a weapon.

Zandra stood and watched at the combatans with a smile. Though the smile slowly faded. The opening attack was only delivered by three of the players. Zandra looked at the two players that didn’t do a thing. What was they doing? The crabs attacked the three players that had charged them, though no one had landed a hit. A black eyebrow rose when only two of the players countered. Zandra scratched her neck. So they signed up and took a weapon, but hv no intention of joining the fight? Zandra had to admit she was a bit confused.

As the two players charged the crabs for another round, the hard shell that covered two of them suddenly shattered into a wave of blue and white crystals. Not only that, they also fell to the ground, not dead but knocked out for a few moments. One of the crabs still had its shell and consciousness. It looked at the axe wielder with angry eyes and walked up to him. With its powerful claw it snapped his leg, reducing Hazados temporary blue bar by a lot.

There were few others really attacking the crabs, it was mostly just her and Hazado. She quickly gestured towards him to go after the crab that had seemed to take less punishment while she took a swing at the writhing crab that had been taking most of the beating. She was unsure if the victor would be based on kills or damage dealt, but she just wanted to work together to get through this as quickly as possible. With only two people attacking, that would mean it could take quite a bit longer than anticipated. Unfortunately, the crabs movements were a little too unpredictable and Neo ended up only hitting the sand beneath it. She jumped back in wait for the inevitable retaliation. There was no way that the crabs would stay down for that long, and she didn't want to get caught unawares by them if she could avoid it.

It seemed the first crab did not like Haz and went for the attack on him and hitting his leg "F*** DARN IT" He yelled out as he spoke English with quite a British accent. The blue bar he had was going down fast and he was not happy about the crab but Neo seemed to get up with an Idea and it sounded quite good, but still, he wanted to get the crab that hit him in the leg. "Okay... This time," he said to Neo getting his axe ready to attack the second crab. Moving to the crab a bit struggling with his leg and just with one swing into the air, he hit the crab on its broken shell with Full power. "Sushi tonight," He said with a grin on his face.

The two combatants charged the trio of crabs again, sadly the umberella wielder missed. Though the male axe warrior landed a powerful strike on one of the crabs with broken shell. The axe cleaved right thru the relatively thick skin of the crab. Thanks to its loss of heavy protective shell armour, the crab took even more damage from the swing then normally. Its health drop to zero and it exploded into a cloud of white and blue crystals. The stunned crab breaked out of the stun and looked at the umberella wielder. The axe swinger looked at bit scary and the crab decided to go for the least dangerous threat. It snippedi snip at Neopolitan, reducing her blue temporary bar by half. The other crab tried to do the same, but all it snippedi snip was the air around the dual haircoulred girl. Zandra smiled, the crabs was almost dead, but it had already showed an example of the use of breaking the breakbar.

Hazado Looked as the second crab dies but it seemed the Crabs did not like Him anymore and went for Neo, "Oi Go for someone your own Size," he yelled at the crabs as they went for Neo. The first attacking Grab hit Neo bringing her Blue bar down to the half, The other crab was less lucky and misses his attack completely. Haz got a Grin on his face, "No one Touches my Friends as long as I'm around," he said as he started to spin around in a circle and but sadly he ended up missing his attacks on both eh Crabs, as they dug into the ground a bit. As he stopped spinning he looks as Both Crabs where standing there, He then looked Back to the other combatants and It seemed Only Neo and Him were fighting now, while Dazia was still there but not attacking, and Vigilon and Krysta did nothing as well. "Why you all not attacking, Get in here," he yelled at them.

(OOC: I had to speak with Krysta for Vigilon's noticing of the issue, and resolving it with an explanation. Krysta can vouch for me.)

When the combat started, three of the combatants, including Dazia, being recognizable in her usual light armor once more for some reason, attempted to strike the crabs that appeared. Vigilon tried to see how the crabs fought, but he noticed that Krysta hadn't tried to deal any blows to the enemy yet. He looked over and saw her looking at the staff she was holding with confusion. Vigilon looked at the staff Krysta was holding. "Interesting design..." He thought. He came over to her, hoping to help. "Hey, Jewel, are you wondering how you're supposed to use that? I know of the two generic methods to make use of that, one of which can't work, but what might help would be to think about stick fighting, a battle style involving sticks, staves, and the like, in combination with various martial arts." He stuck his blade in the ground for a quick moment. "Seeing that Dazia was able to to try using a curved sword there, when she doesn't even have the skill, should suggest that the Martial Arts skill isn't necessary to use that thing. Here, I'll show you." He took the staff for a second(with Krysta's consent, of course), and made a few moves toward the empty air around him. "With precise strikes, which I believe the art of using a thrusting weapon might help you there, side you've used one before, you can strike the nerves of the target, stunning, or even paralyzing the target." He explained before returning the weapon to Krysta. He pulled his sword back out from the ground. "Go ahead and get a feel for the weapon if you need to. You're probably going to need to show your fierce side to those crabs if we're ever going to win this." With that, he began to advance towards the crabs, thinking he was ready to strike with little to worry about. He attempted to strike both crabs with a spin strike, Legend of Zelda style....but unfortunately that didn't seem to work. "It's been a while since I could fight freely with my own hand holding a sword...this is going to be tougher than I originally thought..."

Neo was watching and standing back for a little bit after being attacked. She watched as more and more people joined back into the fight, but were unable to take out the third crab, who seemed to be very low. Seeing this, Neo went in for an attack of her own. She debated going for just a strike with the parasol, but realized she could be a little bit more creative. She opened the parasol and scooped up the crab with it. Once it was in the air, she jumped up and smacked it down into the beach's sand. Landing next to it, she was anticipating for a possible shattering of the crab. She had no idea if it was enough, but it seemed to be struggling quite a bit before her hit and knew that she had smacked it prety good just now. Either way, Neo would back up and place her open parasol over her shoulder.

When the fight started, she was about to make a move when she realized something...the weapon she was holding was a staff, how was she supposed to use it? This weapon that she had never before seen in this game boggled her mind as she tried to wrap her head around it, and understand more than one way to attack a monster with it. Vigilon came and offered some help, by telling her about stick fighting, then reassuring her that she didn't need the Martial Arts skill to use it properly, followed with a demonstration of its actual usage. "Ohhh... I see that now, thank you so much, Alex!" Vigilon left to attack the Crabs, even though his attempt failed to hit any of the monsters. She looked at her weapon once more, and swung it around, trying to get a feel for the weapon, like Vigilon suggested. When she felt that she was ready, she made her way to the Crab that had avoided the most attacks, and attempted to make a focused strike against it. The attack failed to hit, but Krysta assured herself that now since she has actually joined in with the combat, she might be able to strike this one down eventually.

Dazia got back up, and she already wasn't pleased with how the crab she tried to fight against had been incredibly lucky in terms of the attempted first strike. "Now you'll pay. No mercy for you." She attempted to thrust her blade into the Crab again, but the Crab had moved out of the way in time, and the attack missed by a centimeter. "Oh come on! You can't be this lucky, just what's causing all our attacks to miss??" She was frustrated, and the fact that her attacks missed every time so far was only fueling her anger towards this obviously lucky Crab. "I'm going to cut that thing up, and smash it into a crab cake!" Aloud, she said to the crab, "The other monsters and wildlife of this floor can feast on your corpse when we're done with you!" She knew that monsters only shattered when defeated, but that didn't stop her from saying this.

The two surviving crabs started to feel pretty comfortable. There was only two players attacking them now. Two versus two, piece of cake. They was just gonna attack the fighters when something happened. The combatant that had striked in the opening joined the battle again. The crabs hesitated for a moment. And then, two more joined in. From being even numbered to suddenly be less then half of the enemy force, the two crabs didn’t knew what to do. The two males started but both of them missed terribly. The crabs started to charge again when the umberella girl charged in and finished off the weakest of them. So it seems female players are more dangerous then male. So the surviving crab froze when he saw two more girls. Though they was as a bad as the males. The crab let out a sound that sounded like a giggle. Then he decided to retaliate. He charged the umberella girl that was only threat at the moment. But the other players skill seemed to have carried over to him. All he snapped was air beside the girl.

Hazado saw what was happening almost everyone missed apart from neo and the Crab started Giggling, "Oi Dinner" Hazado said to the crab that was still standing before he moved in with his Axe with quite a lot of speed. Before he knew what was going on Hazado Jumped into the air His Orange Summer Jacket flew in the wind and Hazado came down with Quite a lot of Momentum Hitting the Crab on its Shell. "Stop laughing and Pay attention to the one doing the most Damage, You maybe got me down quite a bit here But I'm still in the game," He said getting his Axe out of the crabs shell and grinned a bit, Taking 3 small jumps back to make sure the rest could attack as well. "Ok It is time to show this Crab who is Dinner guy, Don't Miss your attacks while it is there," He said pointing to the crab as it was sitting there waiting from something to happen or well waiting for a good opening. Hazado Grinned and kneeled down now to see what was going to happen but stood up again leaning on the axe he had with him, He was not going down without a fight. "Flank him from the left then after that get behind him and make Sure his Shell breaks as fast as possible, then attack all at the same time to end the Crab for good, I want his claws for dinner."

Dazia saw how the other players were faring against this one last crab, and it wasn't looking good until one player successfully struck it at last. Finally, its luck had run out. She saw this as an opportunity to strike, and she did so by stabbing it from under, for she guessed that there wouldn't be much "natural armor" to protect it down there. "Finally, at last!" Hopefully, she would had dealt the last blow against the monster. She wasn't in the mood to continue fighting this thing. She wanted to finish this and move on.

Meanwhile, Yinangi looked around the areas with her new friend, and saw something in the forest area. Some player not in the event found a chest, opened it, and left the empty chest behind after looting it. "Hmm...maybe if one of us was to put something of value in that empty chest over there...you thinking what I'm thinking?" She asked Kanari.

Things were turning around in this fight, even though in his case he was kind of late. The last crab was surrounded, and it was pretty much doomed, judging by the fact that two players managed to strike it after it missed its target. Vigilon aimed at where there might be a nerve in the crab, and landed a paralyzing blow for good measure, in case the other attacks didn't finish it. "There, that should do...I think."

Meanwhile, Kanari followed Yinangi to a spot near the forest, where the child spotted someone looting a chest and walking off. Yinangi then spoke of possibly putting something of value in the chest. "A filled chest...bait for the trap, I see...that ought to get his attention if we can't lead him to it otherwise." She rushed over to the empty chest, then looked at it carefully. "Hmmm...how could we make this a part of a trap...?" She soon heard a familiar voice. "I don't think it would work that way, Freewind." She looked up to see someone she knew. "No way." The young man who stood before her shrugged. "Hey, I told you guys about the game, so how could you not find me in here? Anyways, you making a trap for someone? What is it, and who's the target? ...It's not me, is it?" Kanari chuckled and said, "Don't worry, Allen, it's not you. My new friend here and I are hoping to set up something for me to get some payback. A little honey and birdseed, leading to a chase scene."

The final crab bursted into crystals as the players chopped away the last of its health. Zandra nodded. This was an ok fight. Though she didn’t get why some just stood there, doing nothing. Well, maybe its different for the lower levelled players now adays. Back when she was at their level, she attacked every round to make sure the mob dies before her. As the final crystal had shattered, there was a low deep sound vibrating thru the air. From the beach, suddenly two big scorpions appeared and approached the players that had just killed three giant crabs, next opponent would be a pair of scorpions. The players though saw their blue bars getting a little bit wider and refilled as well. ''Are you ready? Here is your next opponent, may the best species win!’’ Zandra said as the scorpions stopped ten meters from the players, clipping with their black claws.

Hazado puts his Axe in the sand before he looked at some people in the back, He does notice that the girl that wanted to do some payback was near a chest there in the distance, He turned back quickly to the battlefield as it seemed like the Next group of Monster moved up. Hazado took a Grin on his face and picked up the axe again with two hands. "Time to make some Scorpion bleed today," he said before he moved up to them as she started to Spun in a circle trying to hit the monsters but it seemed they were a bit faster moving then the Crabs and he missed them both. "Darn," He said before moving a bit dizzy back to his teammates and holding his head, "Okay, remind me not to do that again," he said leaning on the axe a bit and holding his head as the world was spinning a bit. But it was no time for slacking of And Hazado moved to his knees just making sure he did not lose balance for his next attack and all the while holding his Axe in front of him to protect himself from any attacks of the Scorpions.

Neo had been hanging back after her last attack on the crab. She could tell that it was going to be going down to the onslaught of others going against it. instead, Neo kept an eye out for any other aggressors. Thankfully she did, and was able to dodge out of the way of the large scorpions that suddenly revealed themselves. Whether the hostess had them lying in wait or it just a surprise for her to play off of , Neo oculdn't tell. What did matter was that she couldn't get an attack in right now. Hazado's wild swing had already made it so that she couldn't get within a safe distance of the creatures. For now, she would have to continue to stay back and get herself into a much more advantageous position.

Just need to take these things down, that will help get my mind off of things. No time to waste doing nothing, no time to waste at all.
