Kioshi 0 Posted July 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2018 (edited) Username: Kioshi Real Name: Kioshi Hidetora Age: 26 (late 60s to early 70s in appearance) Level: 11 Sword Art Rank: 3 HP: 220/220 Energy: 22/22 DMG: 9 MIT: 39 SP: 25 HISTORY Like his dad, Kioshi Hidetora was born with a genetic aging disease that affects his outward appearance and voice. His face is mostly the victim of the disease, as even as a kid, he already has the physical appearance of a teen. By the time he has grown to his current age, the disease eventually grown his body into that of an old man, somewhere in the age valley between the late 60s and the 70s. To this day, the aging disease is still a mystery to Kioshi himself, or maybe he couldn't really remember the last time he had seen a doctor to inquire about it. Despite this setback, he is still able to maintain his health and physique of a normal human being. Socializing outside his family circle was awkward for Kioshi, especially during his late school years. On a few instances, he had to explain his true age and the genetic disease he got since birth. While some people might accepted that fact at the slightest degree, others were still skeptical of his story. Still, he was able to make only a few, if any, friends at school up until graduation. As time went on, he became less talkative to people as he was convinced that maintaining a lasting relationship while looking way older than his actual age just won't work. Now living alone and having a part time job as a data entry employee in a telecommunications office, Kioshi copes with his loneliness by playing video games and watching anime and films, Akira Kurosawa is his favorite director. Life goes on lonely but overall okay...until he bought a Nerve Gear and the magnum opus of video games, Sword Art Online. Eager to get himself into this new form of escapism, Kioshi lies down onto the bed, and putting on the Nerve Gear, he remains motionless like a mummy as he mutters with a quiet yet gruff voice, "Link Start!" Virtues Fit and strong: Despite his elderly appearance, Kioshi, as stated above, keeps up with his health and his overall fitness, making sure that he does not eat excessively and only spend his strength in really necessary instances, like defending himself or sprinting from a dire situation. He can carry two handed weapons without trouble, and dons armor without feeling encumbered. As he prefers to attack with his sole strength, he is befitting for a tank. Tolerant: Toleration is a necessity for Kioshi in his life, especially if someone comments on his 'old age' and himself being unfitting among a group of peers. Those words are nothing but dog's bark, and they are harmless to him anyway. It's not like he would run amok upon hearing the word 'hag' or anything similar. Again, empty words. Bravery: Though not a completely brave hero to the point where he would blindly dash into battle, Kioshi does not flinch to even the slightest threat in front of him. Monsters equals to living beings to kill, and money, though at a lesser rate. Not even people can make him shrink, though he is aware that he should thread lightly to certain people. Flaws 'Old' young man: His genetic disease is the biggest flaw in terms of appearance, and that says a lot. Not only he looks elderly, but he also looks like as if he is permanently scowling, even though this is his neutral expression. His mad expression doesn't really help either whenever he is pissed, he would look like a vengeful ghost. As a result, the options to being friends with anybody is pretty limited. Silent: He only speaks if he wants to. When he does, his voice sounds gruff in a moderate volume. He doesn't talk long too, as he is not confident in starting a conversation by himself. Short sentences or words would do. He could also give anyone he isn't fond off the silent treatment. Violent: Violence is rarely ever used on innocents. Which they should be glad, because when he kills his opponents, he means it. Human or monster, even if the former is an unlikely, if not rare, case that would happen in his life, he won't hesitate to destroy bodies like they are animals or robots. If applicable, he could even go so far to use his bare hands to achieve the final blow. Skills: Two Handed Straight Sword (Rank 3) (+5 DMG) Heavy Armor (Rank 2) (+12 MIT) Picking (+3 LD for Treasure Chests) Inventory: Spoiler Name: Zweihander Type: Two Handed Straight Sword Tier: 1 Quality: Perfect Enhancements: +3 DMG Description: A German greatsword that requires great strength to be wielded and swung properly. Delivers a s*itton of damage, more effective if used with Sword Arts. There is an urban legend that this zweihander was used by a player known for wearing a bearded mask and golden heavy armor. He was notorious for killing other players for nothing more than to 'pawn some f**king noobs.' Spoiler Name: Kelly Armour Type: Heavy Armor Tier: 1 Quality: Perfect Enhancements: x3 MIT (-27 DMG) Description: Armour based on the same armour worn by Australian bushranger Ned Kelly. Comes with a full breastplate, a single tall tasset, spaulders and a full helmet resembling a large tin can. Provides very good protection, but can be heavy and cumbersome to fighters untrained in wearing armor. Had seen better days. Spoiler Name: Starter Healing Potion (4 remaining) Type: Potion (Starter) Enhancements: +50 HP Description: Taste the cool rose syrup that will get your heart racing again! Spoiler Name: Basic Healing Salve (2 remaining) Type: Salve Tier: 1 Quality: Rare Enhancements: +40 HP Description: A basic healing salve, yellowish in color. Apply it to your injuries and they will go away in no time! Do not consume! Idiot. Spoiler Name: Blank Dungeon Map Description: A literal empty parchment. Magically illustrates the paths of a sub-dungeon that can be found in the wild. Only works if user decides to pursue the dungeon's enemies at another time. Spoiler Name: Wanderer's Eye Type: Lucky Charm Tier: 1 Quality: Rare Enhancements: +2 LD Description: A silver necklace with a golden pendant, a ruby resting in the center. Now you don't need to worry about not finding s**t that you need in the wild. Spoiler Name: Sand Armor Potion Type: Potion Tier: 1 Enhancements: +27 MIT Description: Potion obtained from the Sand Shark in the fifth floor. Apply this onto your armor and it will grant extra protection for one battle session. Recommended to use in a tough fight. Spoiler Name: The Hoya Description: A pendant that is very popular among players for its symbolic gift to friends and the equivalent of a wedding ring. Appearance depends on the individual's imagination. In your case, it is a glass sphere with a visible triple triangle symbol of the Hojo clan. Too bad the Hoya has no other uses for you other than being a fancy belonging. Since you have no real friends, it is now your personal necklace. May you defend it to the end.
