By now, Kioshi is swinging like mad, causing the now endangered lion to quickly dodge out of desperation to save itself. This canned meat is no longer an easy target. Now it is seeking to be at the top of the food chain by killing this formidable predator. The Zweihander glows again, like it always does, except this time it seems to be a bit brighter though retaining the dark green color palette. 

The lion advances forward at a fast pace, bearing its canines as it is close to Kioshi's unarmored legs. The opposite of lucky is still lingering around the creature as it barely misses his leg that was moved away swiftly. Immediately after that, Kioshi brings his sword down to its back, carving a deep horizontal cut through the spine and some cat flesh. The lion bellows in pain as Kioshi cuts across the side of its body, blood gushing out of the long wound. The lion falls, groaning as Kioshi is about to give it one last blow.

Pick continued as if nothing had happened. Well, nothing actually happened, anyways. He could only wait patiently and continue to tap his feet as he listened to the combat that was going on next doors. It seemed like a violent one, and perhaps it was actually a good thing that Pick was not a part of it. He hated direct confrontation with people, and was fine with animals, but he would be completely stupid if he was not scared of a lion. With a sigh, he sat back down on the ground, playing with his imaginations.

He had begun thinking about the possibilities of a villain guild - player killers, thieves, scammers - all sorts of players who acts independently on their own but ultimately can band together under one common leadership. "I can definitely sort something out like that, and without revealing my own identity too," Pick whispered to himself quietly.

A swift chop through the neck is all Kioshi needs to end the beast's life, its head flies off the stump of its neck with blood spraying from that same spot. It ends up dropping onto the floor with a heavy, audible thud. Both the head and the body soon explode into digital polygons, and Kioshi stares blankly at the kill site, now feeling frustrated that finding ingredients is taking this long. He rather go to a shop and just buy them straight away. He is also baffled that the game doesn't allow that method to progress in the quest, so much for Kayaba being a godly genius in the world of video games. 

Shaking his head, he knocks his full helmet twice and ultimately decides to call off this quest. No doubt his partner is probably sick of being a dead weight to him too. He removes the cape and looks around for any treasure chest, hoping that at least its contents would compensate the trouble.

As he continued to sit there with nothing else to do, he could only think about his future. He cannot continue to be like this - he needed a way to release his corruption somehow. The things that he has been doing are all legal things - no stealing, no killing - but that is not who he is. He was a villain, a classy villain, but nevertheless a villain. A mastermind, too, to say the least. If he was able to band together a group of bad criminals, he could manage to change this game entirely, and by the hands of one man - him. For now, he needed a concept for his costume, and once that has been sorted, he will be able to start his ultimate plan. It would take a lot of time, no doubt, but in the end, he is determined enough to complete what he has been seeking after.

LD: 15 (Found a treasure chest!)

Walking around the room as he starts thrashing the entire room, Kioshi flips the tables, chairs, shelves, and even a wardrobe. All of the furniture makes loud thuds against the floor, his frustrations channeled through the fall of wooden solid objects. As he holds onto the cape so he won't accidentally damage it in a fit of rage, he notices something odd about the wall behind the wardrobe.

A part of the pattern doesn't seem to line up with the others...could be a mistake made by the builders. Or maybe this is the actual compensation he is looking for. He kicks down that part of the wall only to reveal a very small room containing a treasure chest. Finally, he can at least walk home with a reward.

He looks around for a while, deciding to have the boy here to help himself in case the chest might be a goddamn Mimic. He walks out of the room and lightly tosses the cape around his shoulders.

"...treasure," he speaks softly while pointing upstairs, perhaps for the first time...or was that done before?

Pick had been thinking about all the information regarding his criminal guild when he finally decides to set that up. He's also going to have to get himself a costume, since he cannot afford to let people know his real identity. He probably won't even be the leader of the guild - that way Pick's name won't show up in association with the guild. Instead, he would be the one who comes up with all the schemes and unites every criminal in the world. That's his role, and that's his mission - to receive all the wealth in this world. The other criminals are just going to be the ones helping him obtain that wealth, no matter what they desire to do, Pick only cares that they get him the Col that he needs. While he was thinking silently about all this to himself, he failed to notice that Kioshi had somehow managed to open the closed door and was standing just a few steps from him. It was finally when he muttered something about treasure that Pick realized he was standing right there in the creepy fashion that he always had.

"Ah, so you want to borrow my luck, as well as my cape. Very well. Lead the way - I hope that lion wasn't too bad of a fight for you." Pick finished, smiling as he stood up from the ground that he was sitting on. Kioshi honestly has a very creepy look to him. He could honestly be a good villain with the intimidation that he has on his face, but he isn't menacing enough, to be completely honest... and doesn't seem like he has any bad intentions. Pick deduced in his mind as he walked slowly - following the man who might lead him to treasure.

Found 150 COL, 8 Materials, Perfect Armor and 2 rare consumables!

Opening the chest feels like opening a mini tomb of Tutankhamun as Kioshi is greeted with a surprisingly valuable amount of loot. 150 COL, 8 materials, though they don't count as quest materials, a perfect graded scale mail armor complete with gauntlets and a spangenhelm, and two rare consumables, each wrapped in cloth wraps tied with small strings. 

He couldn't make a clear decision to split up the loot as though he clearly doesn't want the consumables, he wonders if the scale mail set is worth selling. The COL doesn't look like much of value to him, but then again, it isn't always easy to earn COL as much as anyone would want it to be. Regarding the materials, he thinks it would be good stock for his future store, but wonders if the blonde might need it too. Whatever job he might be taking, it would certainly be more attractive than Kioshi's, judging by his manners and clothing...

He removes his full helmet and turns his head to look at the male, speaking in a soft yet gruff voice, "Take whatever you want."

Pick had not expected the man to get so lucky while opening the treasure chest. This was the first time that Pick had witnessed someone else's extraordinary luck while he was watching from behind. It was an unusual feeling, but Pick didn't mind since he was offered some of the loot as well. Looking at the available loot, Pick had no use for materials, but he certainly wanted the Col, since those were pretty hard to come by as a material gatherer. In terms of materials, he can simply get them any time he wanted, unlike Col, which required combat - something that he is not adapt with. As a result, Pick decided that he would take the Col and the consumables, since he could use them to practice identifying items.

"I'll take the consumables and the Col, if you don't mind. Also, if you would like to identify the perfect armor, I've actually got a shop set up on the first floor as a merchant, so if you'd like, you can come around sometimes." Pick advertised for his shop, ending the sentence with a high-pitched whistle. Being the nature that Pick is, he would have preferred to take all of it - including the armor, but that would be quite rude and not good for his reputation, so it is definitely not a wise choice for him to do something like that. "Well, we still have a quest to finish, right? How many materials have you gotten for the quest?"

"....you can go...f*ck it," Kioshi speaks softly, handing the cape back to its rightful owner as he decides to just do this quest all by himself. It is frustrating for himself and maybe tiring for you in his perspective. Not even the cape helps. Maybe his luck isn't really at his side, or maybe he isnt cut out to open any shops at all. Only function as a fighter, soldier, mercenary...nothing more. He sighs deeply, taking the remaining loot with him and walks out of the room, and then the tower itself.

He walks back to the main settlement, helmet currently unequipped as he retains an unsatisfactory look on his face. He even canceled the quest earlier on the way out of the tower's area. All he yearns now is a meal and rest in a nice tavern.

At least the thought of ribs, chicken soup and an iced tea is enough to ease a bit of his mind.
