[PP-F22] Fishing Trip

Recommended Posts

Jonathan waited silently as Hei took his turn holding the rod. Hei's expression told him that there was not even a nibble on the line. Jonathan turned towards the NPC"You sure this thing even really exists?" The NPC looked aghast at his words. "What do ye' mean is she real? She's real alright! I seen her with my own to eyes! The lassie is big alright!" Jonathan would turn toward Hei as he mentioned that it may be sleeping. "Well, than its up to me to wake her up!" Jonathan grabbed a nearby large rock with both hands, putting all of his strength to throw it into the center of the lake. A splash would happen and the rock would vanish under the waters. "Alright, hand me that pole!" Holding the rod in his hands now, he would wait to see if the hopefully now angered fish would take a bite on his reel. A large jerk would instantly pull upon the reel. "GOT IT!" Pulling on the rod as hard as he could, the NPC started to sprint away. "Hey! Where are you going?" The line snapped and he fell to the ground. He looked back and seen a monstrous four legged fish barreling towards them. Quickly opening his menu, he switched back to his weapon and prepared for a fight.

Hei heard Morgenstern yelling that he got it and saw how the NPC started running away. As he didn't know what kind of monster they were fishing for, he got ready to fight, and when he saw the huge four legged fish run-swimming at them, he was shocked. The beast was way larger than he had thought, and it was coming right at him. Hei pointed at  a point some where afar, so Huatli would run away and would not be to close, when the beast would arrive. He himself was raising his shield and spear, but the king of lakes was not even slowing down.
Once it was there, it bit at Hei and grabbed him with its teeth. Hei started flailing around with the shield, but he was not able to free himself until they were somewhere on the lake. The monster released him and Hei saw how it quickly made it's way back to to shore while he had to swim back way slower than the monster. Besides that he noticed that his HP had dropped by a quarter, which was not really good, as he supposed the fight would take a while and he might have to take a few more hits before it was killed.

Action: Focused Howl (-8 EN)

As the fish barreled towards them, Jonathan did not have the ability to switch out fast enough. The fish was upon them before his weapon was in his hand. He watched as the enemy grabbed Hei and dove with him back into the water before resurfacing. He watched Hei swim to shore, but seen that his healthbar had dipped a bit. Opening his HUD, he would activate the howl skill, a loud roar filling the silence. He would then focus this blast at his opponent, dominating the hate for the  battle. "Alright Hei, I got the attention. We can start hitting it now!" The fish's eyes would flash red at him as he became the new main target. Raising his sword in defense, he would await its charge before choosing the exact correct moment to counter the enemy. Judging from its size, he expected it to have a large amount of health, however it couldn't have a large amount of mitigation because it didn't have hard scales. Hei and him could pull it off, they just had to ensure Hei was not taking any more damage than he already was.

After he had reached the shore again he saw how Morgenstern used one of his skills, probably howl to taunt the giant fish monster, as it now turned its attention to the tank player. The same time the monsters red eyes started glowing Hei heard his comrade tell him, that he now had the monsters attention, and that it was time for him to start attacking the monster. With his trident back in hand he started whistling, so Huatli would come to help him, but before the raptor could attack the fish, it charged towards Morgenstern, who just moved his sword a little bit to negate the attack. The fish that hadn't expected that simply stopped in front of its supposed prey and Hei got a chance for attacking it.
Huatli ran at the beast and started clawing at its hindlegs, and the moment one of the scales came loose Hei arrived at it, his trident glowing as he had charged a swordskill to use. He released it and started a series of attacks, that hit the leg multiple times, dealing some damage, but in comparison to the monsters HP bar it wasn't very much. - Danm, it has quite a lot of health, I hope Morgenstern can deal a lot of damage himself, or this fight will take all day. And what's with Kasier, she hasn't said a single word since we had arrived at the mountain, I wonder if she will help us in this fight - Hei thought while he moved away a little, just so he have a chance to react to what ever the king would do.
