Spoiler   IDENTITY: a promising young athlete left crippled by a devastating car accident. she was in possession of a nervegear as part of an experimental physical therapy program, and her misfortunes would only continue to pile up when a copy of sword art online found its way to her in the form of a well-meaning gift. thankfully, she did not come alone. presently: a civilian of strange repute. what does god demand, to have its will overturned? to plunge your hand into the sea of a quintillion possibilities and wrench the neck of the single outcome you desire? if there is a price, she has yet to hear of it. her life in aincrad appears as comfortable as it can possibly be. she has a house and a brother to share it with. she runs a quiet café just a short walk from tolbana and is a recognized supplier for mid-level guilds or any individual parties that may deign to drop by. she keeps an eye on groups with charitable objectives and hefty anonymous donations sometimes just happen to land in front of their secretaries. rarely, however, does she step into battle herself. you think her existence questionable but inoffensive until a few curious eyes latch onto her poorly hidden indiscretions. one's character is discerned by the company they keep, so the saying goes, and recently she has come to cherish a man whose name is descended into notoriety. but what could they ever do, but shake their heads in disapproval? tell her your name and explain to this lovelorn fool how she has hurt both you and all of player society. she is a patient conversationalist. ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: VIRTUES AND FLAWS: + conscientious: the mother was a poet, a natural-born romantic; she loved, and she only cared about that which she loved, and once when she went to sleep her heart leaked out of her body like the steady drip-drip-drip of the last bits of water out of a faucet and they were never able to scrub it off the asphalt, all the shed tears the plaque the resentment the debts the loss. the daughter did not loathe her, but she stubbornly set out to become the exact opposite. if she can chisel off all the impurities, then it would not even matter what she had once been given. + ______-______: ___ ___ then ___ __ ___ __ ____ __ __, ___ ____ ______ _______ __ ___________ __ __ __. "_____ i ____ ________ __ ____ __ ____ _ ____ __," ___ will ___ __________ __ __ ____ ___. ____ ___ ____ ____ ___ ______ __ ____ ________ ____ ___ ___ ___ ____ ____ ___ ___ ___ __ ______ _______ ___ __ ____ __ ___ ___ ____ walk. + principled: she was not raised a ________. her morality is the kind that is utterly unshaken by harsh trials, temptation, or sentiment. her actions are generally easy to comprehend, if the beholder is just as familiar with what is considered good and lawful, but should her integrity ever be brought into question, she would firmly uphold that she did what she thought was right. + knowledgeable: there was a promise (--and her mind tells her that she broke that promise, though she does not have the memories to match), but that is as far as she will let her excuses go. despite not being a fighter, she is well-acquainted with aincrad and the systems that govern it, whether it be through her experimentation in the training grounds, the books in her guild’s library, or her brother’s idle chatter. toss her into an emergency situation and she’ll likely get by just fine.  - delicate: [painted over.] - naïve: it's heartbreakingly simple. she has it in her head that the world is kinder and more beautiful than it actually is, and rather than be persuaded otherwise when it disappoints her, she elects to believe that its faults could be made up for with her own hands. a star is pulled from its reflection in the endless sea and she thinks she can catch a miracle again, for as many times as it takes. - unassertive: she, having shaken herself from her early childhood haze, sought to counterbalance the turbulent personalities of the last two people left in the world to care for her. she treasures harmony, almost as much as beauty and justice, and she struggles to balance her values when they come into conflict. perhaps there is something to be learned here, she acquiesces reluctantly. - reserved: let it not be said that the mother the unsuspecting father and sisters and brother never tried: they cleaned up all the messes, they made all the apologies, they tried to find the triggers, the cures, until it became clear that it resisted comprehension, and they did that for nine years, would you not call that love, in a sense? from the moment of its birth, the child bore an unquenchable anger. the house was thrown into a complete disarray and only then did the fire die out -- it had to.
