[SP-F05] Shark Hunting without water, <<Blood in the Sand>>

Hazado came back to the only floor he did not like, for one reason only or maybe more, but that did not matter at this time. He was here for a field boss he heard about one that he skipped as well, He was not letting go of the monster as well and was ready to fight whatever this thing was sure it was going to be something that moves in the sand and hides its self. People say they see a fin from the sand popping out as they move around in this location. Hazado was thinking of something fun as he heard this, it will be like fishing with a trident but then not for fish or bigger things now it would be for something like a land shark or even a land fish that moved around it the sand. Sure this was going to be interesting as Hazado was a bit off a water person and he did not really care for what he was doing, his new rank in the sword art would help him almost killing the beast in a few hits and making sure that happened Hazado got ready to kill whatever was going to show his head.

Hazado got into the settlement and was ready to find this monster to make sure it was going to give him quite a boost in XP, sure all field bosses did do something like that. and taking out the weaker one will be easy without any trouble. this Land fish thing was going to be a walk in the park and sure it made quite a fun thing to see a fish that moved in the sand and not in the water like a normal thing. Hazado was happy it was not that warm here like on floor nine and he could just walk around in this normal armor without any trouble. "Piece of cake, I'm going to have some fun for sure," Haz said low to himself getting out his trident and making his way around the settlement. It was calm here and it seemed like players did not move a lot here, nobody seemed to like the sand as he then started thinking about a movie where a character said the driest quote ever, being, I don't like sand, it gets everywhere. Sure it was true but so dry and dead.

Walking a bit Hazado noticed a few players that started the traveler quest, two girls and a guy we're talking to the NPC, as he looked at them Hazado started thinking about the first time here and he saw the past in front of him. Sunova, Neo and him were here, Sunova invited the two to come here and do a quest together. Both parties did not know what Sunova was planning and surely did not know who was the other player that was tagging along with them. He played the seen in his head and saw everything in front of him from start to beginning, Neo was quite back then and did not really talk well she never talked but not talk in her way, not like Haz and her were doing by looks and thoughts. It felt so nice as he thought about it for a bit and seemed to lose track of what the time was and spotted all soon that the time went a bit faster then he was hoping as he snapped back to reality but still thinking about the day he met Neo.

Hazado started to walk out of the settlement and was slowly getting to were this so-called land Shark or fish was. It seemed people did not like coming around this part as it seemed the field boss moved quite a lot it was just your luck to find it and mostly you kind of had to follow it for a bit. Hazado then seemed to see something, pieces of burned wood and something else the sand did not cover up it completely and it seemed the moving sand moved over here. On closer look, it seemed to be a camping spot from something. Surely it was almost the same place he Sunova and Neo used for themselves to take cover from the sandstorm, opening his Map it did seem like it was that as the map around here was already discovered and it seemed that there were now too walkways to this spot. He sighed and yet again he started to think about the good memory. He sees himself walking in the sand with Neo and Sunova, as then a wind blows over them pushing Hazado into Neo and he made it in time to catch her from falling in the sand, after that Su and Neo seemed to talk and Hazado did not know about what yet, but after that Su was quite pushy to Him and well made sure He and Neo got some time together as she was keeping watch.

It was not clear to Hazado what he was thinking back then but he was for sure showing respect to her at that point may be a bit too much if he thinks about it now. It was just because she is a mute he was like that at the first meeting. But whatever was going on Hazado knew those feeling felt a bit more... real now. As he snaps back he starts to move on the darkened area from the quest marker, somehow it seemed like it moved a bit but not sure how he just made his way to the quest marker. Getting ahead of himself he moves a bit faster in the sand but seemed to slow down again at the end. This thing is really moving, So no wonder people have a hard time getting to kill this thing, I need to speed up if I want to get to him or even lure him, Hazado thought as he looked as the quest marker yet again moved a small bit.

As he started to track down the thing yet again he gets closer by a few spots as it seemed the quest marker did not really move too much but still did in the end. As he walked around he started thinking about something how he promised himself not to go alone anymore, but it seemed like that was not getting closer in the end, as he yet again was doing things alone, maybe he should have asked Cosi to get in this fight as well or maybe he could have asked Su to join him, but he was not sure about it at all. It seemed like thing were just him and the sand as he walked around in the desert here. No matter what Hazado did not really want to get people involved in his reckless behavior and how dangerous he really is for others sometimes. It was really clear to Haz how he was and how he acted around people, he cared too much for others, yes but still, he was getting always into big of a fight getting to kill Field bosses who are much stronger than him in the end.

Hazado looked at the marker as it seemed to have turned around and was heading his way, was the field boss ready to fight or was it just its patron to turn around at that place and head back to where he started at. getting out a big sigh he took out his trident and swung it around a few times before waiting until the field boss showed up as Hazado was thinking why not let it come to me if I stand still long it will just make its way to me no matter what. He started swinging his trident a bit more as the quest marker got closer and closer it seemed to have the same route as it was going before so there was a 100% chance that it would run into Hazado and start combat with the spear user. It took not long until Hazado Looked into the distance to see something moving his way and it was now looking like it was locked onto Hazado as well. He grinned and places his helmet on his head. "Time to go fishing," he said then waiting for his first attack.

Hazado looked as the quest marker got closer and closer, he was ready for it but once the field boss got close that he could see the Health bar and the name Sand Shark. Hazado was getting a bit closer as well and trust his attack into the ground where the Health bar was, but it seemed he missed his attack and once he did that another attack from the sand shark moved as he got up from the ground and tried to bite down on his left arm and his thorns activated on the sand shark dealing small amount of damage to the shark. "now I know why people never find you," he said as he pushed the sand shark away getting from his arm. getting his feet into the sand and waiting for the next move he was going to take. Making sure Hazado did not get caught away and was getting his trident ready to charge at the field boss again.

It seemed like the Sand Shark was not staying above ground and Hazado took advantage of this charging to the Sand Shark with his sword Skill Dancing Spear. First, a down wards sweep over the Sand Sharks body before planting the trident into the ground and vaulting over his spear and kicking it in the face ending with a standing on both legs again to end with a jab into the Sand sharks body. After that, it seemed like the sand shark dug himself in the ground and popped back up to bite down on Hazado's arm again yet again activating his Thorns and dealing some damage to the sand shark. This time it lets go on the arm self and jolts back trying to get a distance between Him and Hazado. It seemed that the Shark was down in orange for sure now and was getting beaten up, and all Hazado did be grin a bit and getting reckless slowly.

Even with the distance between the Sand Shark and Hazado, it did not matter to him. He charged at the Sand Shark once getting closed he placed his trident into the ground and vault kicked the shark again before coming down with his Trident on the sand shark kind of digging him into the ground. It was quite a powerful attack and it seemed so, as the Sand shark lets out a cry and disappears into pixels making the kill easy. Hazado sighed and looked at the small hole in the sand, "You were weak, so I don't see why people were scared of you," he said turning around and starting on his way back to see what he could do, Maybe he could try to find some materials on the way back and get some extra things there. It was quite good to fight solo from time to time but sure he did not want to make Neo worry so he would not stay away for to long making his way back where he could send a message to Neo as it seemed that in the biggest part of the dessert you could not send a message to players.

Hazado started walking for a bit as he got to think about what he has done most of the time in this game, sure Hazado was having some trouble getting started at first but now he was getting used to being a higher level even getting into the tier 2 line of work, meaning he should get some new items soon to get his Tier 2 items done. thinking about it what could be the best things he would get and he got to think about like what enchantments would be best for his build. For sure he had Howl now so really there was no need for taunt at this point so the trident he had now was going to be useless for him, maybe he could get a full on damage weapon maybe even getting a Bleed or Paralyze on it as well. And for his armor, Yes he could get big spikes on his shoulders or even some on his gauntlets. and then he started thinking about a helmet, Sure his Gladiator helmet now was still a bit weird looking but something had to change. maybe his whole look needed a change.

It seemed like things were going to need to change for Hazado's build, hearing about a quest on floor 4 or something like that about a waterfall so maybe that was going to be his next job. but for sure things were going to change, now that he was getting married to Neo things were going to change for sure, and Haz knew it. Not only his way of playing and how he would do quests also his armor and other things like getting ready for things and other things. Mostly his way of acting was going to change, sure he already has changed quite a bit and Hazado knew this himself as well, first few days Hazado was getting scared as his avatar was not his real body and his real face and was getting uncounterable, but being on the beach and around people who seem to help him made Hazado more of a fighter and leader then he was before. It seemed like everything changed in the end, first getting used to becoming a pure tank and now going up the way of a switch Tank dealing quite a lot of damage as well.

He looked at his Level once he got back to the settlement he was sure he was going to be level up again maybe even getting to the next tier of battle. And then he could get better weapons and better armor is more of a dangerous person to monster and PKer. Hazado started to think about what kind of weapons he was going to get, Sure he was getting used to the trident but it really was not good for any slash attack and that is a bit what he wanted to get, Maybe a Glaive-like weapon could be the one that would make sure he got the trust and slash damage off. Not only did he need a new weapon he also needed some other gear, maybe it was time to get a new pet or so and making sure that will help him as well in getting a better build. A Mitigation Familiar was maybe something he needed but how would a familiar protect him and what would it look like.

Haz started wondering in what kind of pet he wanted, something small maybe that could easily protect him, maybe an elemental of stone that would cast a something like stone-skin or something it that way. It would be cool as it would appear like Haz would be having a small stone layer over his skin, meaning that Haz really did not need the Mitigation on his armor giving away at least 3 spots for an enchantment. But the part was going to be where the bloody hell is he going to find a stone elemental or something like that. Maybe it was going to be around on this floor but it was just a wild guess. Then his eyes spotted something, it looked like a scaled small kite shield but once getting closer to the things the thing he thought was a scaled Kite shield became a bit bigger and it seemed to be moving slowly, and one Haz got close to it and touched it, it just darted away, as it was a small monster. It was quite cool to see a defense system like that, pretending to be a shield or something and if it was not helping just running was also an option. Haz laugh a bit before he started walking again.

Not sure how long he had to walk still but he was sure it took a bit longer as he followed the sand shark quite a bit as it was running away, not knowing what to expect here Haz looked everywhere until he spotted a nice place with some ruins He looked around a bit and spotted that it was going to be quite a bit harder to walk around their alone, maybe he needed to get sometime later to come back here. Looking around Haz saw some drawings on the pillars from dragons and other creatures one creature were standing out quite a bit and it was what looked to be a dragon with a leaf or something else as a tail. Taking a small picture of the drawing Hazado looked around if there were maybe some other drawings around of this creature Looking on other pillars he saw that his creature seemed to be some wingless dragon with a big tail not sure what it was but the tail picked Hazado's interest and maybe coming back here was not a bad plan.

Haz was looking around getting back to the way back He was not sure what he was going to but one thing was sure he wanted to get out of this floor faster then he was here before, He really did not want to have another sandstorm hit him. It was going to be something if it did, he was not preparade for it at all and did not want to get back into something like that for no reason at all. He started to think about something that was going to be happening after he was into the next tier of levels was he going to find a way to keep going or get back to helping players with things and get them into a group and teach them how to use combat. It was all just waiting to be found out and the guild did not look good either as well as it was growing quite quiet and Sunova was getting a bit sad by the day, and that was a rare thing to see as she was always acting happy and all.

He started to worry a bit about Sunova as she was the one he was here with and it was also the person he trusted to most with healing him, altho it was just something on the side Su and Neo were both two friends Hazado did not want to see losing. Thinking about it Hazado never really seen death and was not even going to think about it. he would break if one of those would die, It would be just pure rage to the one killing them or even one of them, Hazado did not want to think about it at all and he would get mad if even he would die and all. but Haz was getting back to the settlement already and saw the gate well at least the layout of the gate on his map. It was not far now and Haz knew this as he was getting back faster and faster than before.

Haz looked at the map again and he looked back in front of him seeing the gate for real now as it seemed that it was right there, a few more steps and he was there. It looked like it was a good day already and not even that late at all as well, Haz smiled the moment the notification came up Safe Zone. That was the moment he knew he was safe and started walking a bit more into the settlement, It looked like some people went in and out of the place and Hazado was at least happy he got into the settlement without any trouble not that there was going to be even any trouble at all. Once inside he got an update from the system telling him about the new rank he seemed to have gotten, It said that he could not get tier 2 items and wear them without any trouble at all, He grinned a bit while reading this and thought Neo, Here I come.

Reading the Message again it was clear that he leveled up from this quest for sure, it was just a matter of time that he got to get new armor and all and maybe go even so far in getting a familiar as well, maybe a protection familiar. Haz looked at some of the other things around and saw the small bar where he been before, Walking in and getting to the bar ordering a water from the bar owner. All fast it came to him and he got a bottle of water from the barkeeper, Haz nodded to them and gave them a few col coins to pay. It was quite refreshing to drink as the water went down into his body, somehow this felt so good and quite good. He opened his menu looking at some of the things that there were, his inventory was getting quite crowded but he did not really care as it was getting tho.

Scrolling into the menu Hazado saw that things were getting quite a bit to busy but things seemed to be quite okay with him. Looking at his skills Hazado noticed that he had quite a good balance between his defense and his attack, His Attack got quite a bit greater and surely it was going to get bigger and even more as he got a new item. After getting new gear Hazado needed to think about the rest of his job and everything else what was going to happen. What was he going to so with Neo and Su, what was going to happen with some of the information he has and where would he drop it? For sure it was going to be something but he was not thinking about it now as it seemed he was now getting used to it as well before he left again to start working on his house he was going to build.
