[F21] The Cloak's Corner Rank 5 Merchant

Recommended Posts

A merchant shop that can be found near the hotsprings of the twenty first floor with the exterior being of a japanese like style to it with a sign that hangs right outside the shop with the name of it painted along it in perfect calligraphy. The exterior exterior having a long wooden porch like area where there are a few benches with cushions on them to make them comfortable, a few potted plants along the railings of the porch. The interior decorations include the symbol of the shop that resides over the merchant himself and over the door of the shop. A green cloak with a medallion attaching the two ends of the cloak together at the top to function as a proper coat, with a knife painted in the way to make it seem it is going through the cloak's head hole by having the blade poking out of that, but having the middle part of the weapon obscured through the design of the cloak part of it.  Along the rest of the area is various seating arrangements with candles places around to light up the room since there doesn't seem to be any electrics around the shopping area, with the area with the most candle light being the area where the shop owner resides behind the counter. Along with the various seating of couches, chairs, and tables there are also small banners and displays around the shop with a pattern of red and white coloring near the corners where the guests would sit with the rest focusing more on the design of dark colored greens, golds, and blacks for the coloring of the objects such as banners, or curtains.

The banner that has the symbol of the shop being golden, with a white banner to the left of the shop, and a banner on the right of the green one. If people would look towards their they would see two doors that would just lead to the outside with tags on the door with the words. "Renovations in the future...maybe..if i feel like it." The shop keep himself being a man with greyish silver like hair and hazel colored eyes the man would be holding a small dagger within his hand idly inspecting it, and playing around with it by twirling it around. The clothes he wears being a fine dress shirt that is buttoned up and has no wrinkles with the shirt with a green cloak being attached by a gold medallion at the top of the cloak over the shirt to obscure the dress shirt from view slightly, but still allow it to be seen when the cloak is moved. Along with this are long black dress pants, and a dark green top hat. The man would gaze up towards the players who would walk in and give a smile and a slight bow. "Welcome to the cloak's corner professional merchant. How may i be of service to you today?"

He walks into the quaint little shop having heard of a new merchant having come out of the wood works as he figures he should pay the man a visit to see whether he is worth interacting with or not in terms of the man being useful beyond just a merchant to go to for identifying things. As he arrives he looks over the exterior and just nods his head seeing that it is rather plain, but can't fault or insult since that is what his shop is like as he moves over towards the inside and sees the various banners and rather seemingly extravagant style that went into all of this. He looks towards the  owner and just deposits the multitude of items onto the counter and looks towards the man who introduces himself as the owner. Identify these for me if you can any uniques i get. Any commons you keep. He says simply towards the man and pays the prices that are listed and than just leaves with a wave when being told the wait.

He glances forward as a man walks into his shop a couple hours after its creation as he smiles at that being rather happy that he had received that reception so quickly as he looks towards the man as he glances over the man's feature and nods his head dedicating them to memory so he can at least know who to give these back to since the man hadn't given a name for himself. Picking through the items he depletes a majority of the identification money and buy money over to the junk option to pay for identifying everything that is within this list of items. He looks towards the light armor and grabs two of them that are of the tier one variety intending on using both for himself if he is able to do so. Let's get to work. He says softly to himself as he grabs the two pieces of armor looking them over with a scrutinizing gaze trying to figure out what he is looking at as he looks over the two pieces of gear as he can quickly find a common similarity. Non-restrictive materials allowing the material to allow one to move swifter and react faster. The difference being that one is made of tougher materials, and the other double-downing on the free movement plan seemingly. Interesting. He says in a casual tone.

He makes his walk through the 21st floor at a relaxed pace as he arrives upon his shop after a nice little walk taking a small glance towards the hotsprings with a slight smile knowing he has some coin to burn for some him time if he ever gets stressed a nice place to do it right next door. He walks into the shop and makes his way towards the counter and than walks beside it towards a side door next to it to enter into a backroom where he has litup with numerous candles to illuminate the various storage containers where he has put the supplies that his customers have given him. With all final products either in his inventory or hanging within the store. He gazes through what he has been given and takes out the perfect light armor, and the rare light armor planning to finish that up first and foremost. He gazes at the perfect first evaluating it for all of its worth as he can feel the sturdiness of the product and lets out a low whistle of appreciation for what must've been quality find along with quality material. His hand runs along the material checking the sleeves that seem to be a lot looser as if meant to allow one to extend their arm to the full degree without wasting more energy fighting the constrictions of armor. Finally, seeming to have the same quality as others about always focusing on the fact that it is meant to be assisted in hitting targets by having free range of motions. He checks the enhancements and starts writing down in a notepad what each quality means for each enhancement that he gets knowing he'll need to expedite this in the future for bulk orders.

Next he picks up the rare tier two armor with a slight grin on excitement at what this could hold from being a new tier altogether he hasn't touched before. He gazes at the fabric and the materials and finds that it is of the same quality as the gear he had looked at yesterday. Huh..must've gotten this off the same creature than. He says in a calm tone of voice before setting the fabric down and moving the two over to his completed section of identified gear.

He enters the back of his shop once more as he moves through the various items that are for the order of the black haired individual which means  that he wouldn't be able to do much anyhow since so far he would have to give nothing towards that man. He picks up the hands wraps that he had received from the man as he looks over the quality and sees that the two share the same quality of being meant to hurt an individual which would be obvious. The material seemingly made of quality to protect the hand and provide sufficient padding to allow one to use the actual full force behind one's strength without breaking their hand. He than examines the two different wraps within more depth as he sees that the other has a bit more extra padding than the other and feels actually heavier upon further inspections which means he can suspect that it is steel padding to break bones of an opponent. He moves over towards the other and sees that the design is rather eye catching and rather easy to keep track of no matter where one would go he just nods and opens up the enhancements for these two items and writes down the enhancements like he had done yesterday. SO damage is just padding for hand wraps, and bleed is most likely the material used, and taunt is the over the top colorful design of the other.

Dagger grins having slowly entered into the tail end of the order from what his recollection tells him as he grins rather eagerly at that fact since it means from what he has gotten left that means everything belongs to him. Both a blessing and a mistake since that leaves him with some gear that would need to be trashed after he finishes the entire order. Though if yesterday is anything to go by he could  at least use the handwraps to aid in his breaking a boulder quest when he goes to face it. Along with having a few buffs to get him through some tough fights that he would eventually have to use. That or give it to the twins that might want a small strength boost if they didn't have anything on hand. He picks up a potion and a snack of some description as he starts identifying them to the best of his ability starting with the potion. He pauses realizing he can't really go about this the same way like he did armor and will be forced to do what he did yesterday to get through these. He simply activates the identification function of his profession and gets the stats for the items that he writes down and puts the four items over towards the completion area.

Neo made her way into the shop, having been looking for another place besides Shield's. Though the merchant was always kind to her and was a good way to get T3 materials if she ever ran short on them, She did fear what having a monopoly could cause him to do. She had brought quite a large load of old gear and unidentified items she had little use for. Though perhaps she could have something to do with them in the future, she doubted they could be used for much more than just selling off to merchants like Shield. She nodded when greeted and sends a quick message explaining her intent. Once sent, she begins to lay out what she would like to sell and identify while they have the chance to read her message.

He hears the door open once more from someone that isn't him as he looks up from his spot behind the counter as he looks towards the woman that enters his shop as he glances up and down along her form getting her features memorized for future ease of recognizing a paying customer of his establishment always a good thing for himself at the very least to see about future partnerships. He does his greeting towards the woman with a tip of the hat as he than watches as items materialize upon his desk some looking like they were made, but he does catch the consumables looking like they are identified along with a weapon. Well than looks like you had quite a bit for me, and in turn for others if a new rapier wielder ever runs into my shop. I'll make sure that this gear gets passed around for those that need it desperately. Though for this order i will tell you that your order will most likely be completed in....lets say. 3 to 4 business days. After that i'll send you a message about what i get. He says in a polite tone towards the woman before accepting the col and than promptly trashing most if not all of it to pay for identification costs as he takes everything into the back and puts the items he had just received into the not completed yet section. Than proceeds to section them off from the items he had received from Mars. Next he goes back out to his shop and picks up the various gear and takes only the LD buff and accuracy for his use, along with the duelist cloak. The other items being spread out along the shop in various places to display them nicely.

He enters his back shop once more and picks up four of the crystals from today's collection and just glances at them and can tell what they are since they are perfectly identical to the last one he had seen yesterday. overhealth is a popular brand now huh? I guess that if i am ever in need of some more HP or the twins are we are now stocked for a good long time whether we wanted that to happen or not Cardinal has dictated that as such. He says in a rather calm fashion with a nod of his head before putting the three overhealths and one damage crystal up in the completed orders section of his little backshop with a nod of his head with a slight smile upon his face.

He makes his way into the back of his shop picking up the last of Mars' order with a grin upon his face as he quickly identifies the potion and the snack that he has within his hands, and quickly manages to deduce what they are about. The potion being something that strengthens the natural sturdiness of one's body to prevent damage that would be taken, and the other being something to increase the iron within one's body to make their hits strong when they swing the blade through increased force. With that finished he glances towards the table that has Neo's orders and looks over the gear with a slow gaze glancing from one item to the next and picks up the rapier, and the potion glancing at the weapon and the drink that he now has. Taking the weapon he holds it and starts thrusting the rapier like a fencer would as he can feel the weapon striking through air piercing straight through it as he nods his head deducing accuracy as one of the enhancements and from the design of the weapon most likely damage to pierce completely. Glancing at the potion he looks over the contents and finds similar findings through other things he has identified seeing similar points for overhealth and mitigation.  Writing this down he goes over towards his desk and puts it with the completed orders.

He picks up the last of the items that are left over except for one as he looks towards the last item with a small grin upon his face rather happy at what will be the last he will have to do for a bit, but also the unfortunate fact that it is actually the last one he will do in awhile since that leaves him without much of a product to try and sell beyond what he had just gotten through some of the more lucky items he had been given.  Going over to the four items in questions he scans through their contents just trusting the system to tell them and stares at all the of them as he gains a vacant disappointing look. Vitality....on all of them. What sort of deed did i do against the luck gods to give me this.

I enter the shop at a rather relaxed and calm pace into the shop with a small sigh as i close my eyes as i shrug my shoulders ever so slightly planning on helping out some low level merchants or the day even though it will be a big drain on my financial wallet. 'Though not like i am going to do anything with money nowadays. I'm not gonna buy a home since i have Kimi, and i don't need a guild hall just yet since my guild doesn't want one. May as well just buy things to help out any merchants i find to get them up to speed in terms of matching Shield's monopoly.' I think to myself as i enter the shop and pick up some small things i would want that could be proven useful, and than a bunch of useless items.

Once more entering the shop he looks towards the merchant and nods towards the man as he once more drops off some items for him to identify so that he can see what kind of luck that he can get revolving around those weapons. Same thing any uniques you give to me. Any commons you can keep for yourself. He says calmly towards the man before giving a wave of his hand towards the man before leaving the shop once more with his hands within his pockets leaving behind the col necessary to identify the items per the shop's prices and the items in questions.

Looking he watches as one woman enters the shop and seemingly buys a lot of item all for the sake of leveling him up as his eyes widen before bowing for the woman out of politeness for something that she didn't have to do at all to thank her for her actions. Thank you very much ma'am i'll make sure that your kindness isn't forgotten. He says politely with a tip of his hat as she would than leave and later within the day a black clothed man makes his way over as he nods towards the player taking the items as he goes towards the back of his shop to identify the three items that he now has to finish off the orders and than get to organizing them all for personal and monetary use for his shop and by proxy him. Picking up the three consumables he looks them over and nods his head at the buffs able to see their use since it will work at least semi well for everything else he has managed to identify. Picking up the axe he glances it over and finds that it is mostly meant for leaving long lasting wounds and to cut through the air to hit faster. 'Could've been better but it is what you gamble for.'

With a small sigh escaping his lips he takes some items from his own stock of materials that he has bought for the other people that could attend his shop possibly however it seems that wouldn't be the case for him at all. Seems like even with lower prices getting others to enter this shop would be needing for me to actually get to rank 5 and get a name out their for others to get behind otherwise i am just going to end up sitting here all day long and doing nothing. I need to get things going sooner rather than the later i am afraid to admit. he says to himself with a slight frown as he grabs the items necessary for him to get started as he nods his head. Time to get going than after all coin doesn't make itself.

Once again, Neo found herself in the shop of another merchant. It was strange being back here, but it seemed as though the place had grown a bit since she was last here. hopefully that meant she could fetch a decent price for things. Though if this was anything like Shield, they may jack up the prices once they didn't need experience for it. Regardless, prices were good right now. Hopefully, she could make sure it stayed that way. Perhaps selling off all of the stuff she didn't need from her shop was a bad idea, but items were going stale and she didn't want to hold onto them any longer. She dropped off the items, waited to receive the Col for them, bought an item or two, and then left.

Entering into the shop he once more hands the man the col that is necessary to pay for the identifications as per his cost and gives him the same simple pointed look. Same arrangement as last time you hand me any uniques that manage to get found when you identify these things understood? He says towards the man before turning around and than leaving the shop as swiftly as that. Not expecting much success in that, and even if that is the case not taht much success in getting a unique since it is such a slim chance to begin with. 'We'll see how such things turn out in the end.' He thinks casually towards himself with hands in pockets as he leaves the shop unless he gets messaged about a unique.

Alec stepped into the Merchant's shop of the Cloaks Corner owned by a man he had helped during the tutorial quest line. Alec glanced around the interior of the shop as he straightened after stopping to enter the door. The shop was clean and orderly just as he expected from the man's mannerisms. Alec smiled as he stepped up to the counter and greeted Dagger. "Hello again Dagger. It seems I find myself in need of your services this time Sir. I would like to buy some Immolation Potions. I find myself getting hit a lot. Which is just fine by me but I'd rather have a slightly stronger punch back when then happens if you know what I mean?" Alec announced in his deep rumbling baritone as he slid 960 Col on to the counter. "I also have these two Trinkets I found in my travels that I'd love to get identified if you have the time and inclination." As he slid another 700 Col onto the counter totalling 1,660 Col.

Picking up the two trinkets he inspects each of them activating the merchant skill as he gazes at each of them looking at all of the small details of the items as the skill is able to pick up the smaller enchantments and signs for what they can do. However, when he catches sight of the second trinket he just grins over towards the larger man. Well than Alec it seems that you manage to get a rather amazing drop for what your build is, so congratulations for having a unique at tier one. This is rather big compared to how long other people usually have to wait for getting their hand on a tier one unique. He says in congratulations towards the man as he hands the man a trinket that he had identified with a nod of his head and a tip of his hat. Also thank you for buying my immolation potions i hope they serve your well. He says iwth a small bow.
