Psychonier 0 Posted November 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) Profile Username: Psychonier Real name: Caron Lovelady Age: 18 Gender: Female Height: 5'10 ft About: History/personality Personality: Having been raised by a single mother for most of her life, after her parents had divorced by the time she reached four years old, her mind ended up being similarly divided because of it. While having a passive, fun persona throughout most of her life, having two different walks of life combined with differing opinions and her heartbreak left an impact on her. First and foremost, she has a very open mind, receptive to most new ideas. She’s also an empath, so she’s extremely sensitive to other people’s emotions, easily taking on depressional symptoms if she interacts with with a melancholy person, for example. Despite that, there’s a rigid sense of stubbornness when it comes to what she believes in, such as sticking up for other people that cannot defend themselves, even if this would end up backfiring in the end. These traits are taken from exposure to her mom’s kind and fluid nature. Meanwhile, on her dad’s side, she’s taken up a very imaginative, creative nature, thinking of ideas so ridiculous that it makes no logical sense at times. Another quality she ended up taking from her dad is justificative pride for her own abilities. Above all of this, Caron simply wants to protect and serve the innocent, and to give other hope and love. Despite all of this goodness, Caron has a big jealousy problem, deep down, getting possessive from time to time with people she is attached to. While she does her best to keep it hidden, it can cause her to become bitter and self hating towards herself. History: Caron Lovelady was born in America on January 9th, within a local hospital, born to a man named Christopher Glenn, and a woman named Krystal Lovelady. While most of her young life was as normal as most infant to three year old, it was still much different. First of all, she had parents from high walks of life, though nowhere near the top and such. Christopher helped others through the power of his construction work prowess. As for Krystal, she was a very effective scientist when it came to carbon, helping her discover new life forms easily, as carbon is a key part of life. Due to this, expectations were thrown upon her. That being said, she generally made good marks in school, and had dreams of going into the animation industry when older. Her achievements made her family very happy, along with Caron herself, though a month after she turned four, her parents divorced each other and separated. This happened since Christopher had ended up Crystal won custody over her, and moved with her all the way to Japan. Despite that, she was still allowed visits to her father, and would not be without one all of her life. With her mom making their living at a bio-research facility in Japan, Caron was free to pursue her studies and graduate through Primary and Secondary school with ease, due to her adaptability and intelligence, combined with her mother’s encouragement. Bullying was not a big factor in Caron’s life, but she stopped it from happening to other people from time to time, and generally ignored any thrust upon her. Her friendliness and charisma landed her temporary friend groups wherever she went, though none of note would really meet with her. Eventually, after her schooling was over, she immediately went into the working force, as a freelancing animator, before she came across SAO. She eventually picked up a copy when it released, ready to throw herself into this new world to maybe get inspiration and act on her love for video games. Virtues: Loyalty: Caron is very loyal to those she loves and cares for. Not only would it take a lot to make her disloyal in the first place, but she would never go behind your back or back stab you for selfish reasons. In general, she'll do anything for those she trusts. Compassion: While not exactly a community servant, she still feels sympathy to many people, especially those she loves. She'll generally try and comfort anyone that needs it, alongside being a shoulder to cry on. It's to a degree where she even sometimes feels the same way someone else does when they're upset. Creativity: A skill that will definitely be needed for her field of work, Caron has always thought outside the box. Whether it be thinking of character designs or plot points, she usually tries to add a twist to everything she does. This translates in battle as well, where she will use everything at her disposal to win. Flaws: Envy: Jealousy easily catches Caron in all walks of her life, especially when it comes to romance. While she bottles it up, she can't help but feel incredibly upset when someone takes the attention away from her. On top of that, she will occasionally get passive aggressive towards people that are the object of her envy. Sensitivity: Unfortunately, her compassion usually leads to her also being rather sensitive herself. It is very easy to upset her if you're being rude, and it intensifies when someone she cares about is doing so. Criticism is also hard for her to take if she cannot discern it as unbiased. Impatience: Caron tends to be very impatient when it comes to life in general. She tends to rush events in her life without thinking at times as well, such as school, as she managed to get into early graduation through it. Anything that makes her wait too long irritates her to no end because of this.
