[PP-F2] The Venomous Warg (Quest)

Recommended Posts

"Beam me up, Scottie," Mutsu sang out as she jingled into position on the teleportation portal. "Teleport Urbus,"

A second later Mutsu found herself moving about the town of Urbus, following an effect that was decidedly similar to the transporter effect from Star Trek. "Someone's getting sued for some kind of copyright infringement," the spearwoman muttered to herself, flouncing down the nearest street in the walled town in the direction that her quest marker indicated she needed to go. A few moments later she had pushed her way into a pub that looked, well it looked as if calling it "seedy" might have been a compliment for the establishment.

None the less, despite its clearly dingy and ill lit interior, the quest giving non-player character that Mutsu was looking for was inside, wringing his hands and looking around at the assembled players as if he were either trying to decide which one to approach, or maybe he was trying to hold his bladder and keep from wetting himself. Total toss up, in Mutsu's mind. She approached the merchant and he quickly explained the situation with her smiling and nodding and then tapping the accept button when the option popped up.

That done, there was only one thing left to do. "Too high leveled," she muttered to herself, deciding against one player. "Too little kid," she continued, dismissing another that was in the establishment. What a child of that age could possibly be doing in here was anyone's guess.

"Just right," she purred to herself, eying a player that looked to be in his late teens or maybe early twenties. His gear was good, but not too good. He would do nicely. Swiping a finger in the air she pulled up her player menu and unequipped her breastplate, which left her standing in the bar in only her tight-fitting leather pants and an equally well-tailored leather jerkin. With bells, obviously, because she was not a savage. With her quarry in sight she flounced and jingled over to @Kyot0 before dropping herself down lightly in his lap where he was seated.

"Oh, my big strong hero! What would you say to a wolf hunt," she asked, getting straight to the point and throwing her arms around his neck.

Kyoto was sitting there mining his own business at the nearest park bench. Listening to the birds sing and also listening to the weird sensation of Green Day stuck in his head. Enjoying the paradise of this floor until he get a strange girl that sat on his lap. “Big Strong Hero? You must be mistaken if you want someone strong you should ask that man over there.” As Kyoto then points his finger at one of the higher-level players in the floor. “He’d be your best bet if you want to fight a strong group of monsters.”

Kyoto look at this girl that was sitting on him. She seems to be wearing a lot of tight clothing with no armor. Seems strange but at the same time he has no room to talk. He’s only wearing his normal black shirt and black pants. Kyoto doesn’t like to wear his fighting gear unless he needs to. After all he’s a DPS player running around with heavy armor. It’s very uncomfortable to wear something that is heavy and covers majority of his body.

"Oh, I think I got the right hero," Mutsu said in a purring tone, trying to hug the head of the player whose lap she had appropriated into her chest for added emphasis. And also to generate the desired effect. Now that Kayaba had made it so that everyone looked in the game the exact same way, more of less, that they looked in real life it should have been clear to this guy that Mutsu looked exactly as stunning as she knew she looked. And, given that this guy looked to be right in the 'easily manipulated by pretty girls' sweet spot in terms of age, Mutsu figured that her tactics would be a sure fire slam dunk for getting this guy to tag along with her on the quest to slaughter wolves. Plus, from the looks of things considering his gear, she imagined he could probably solo the thing with little help from her. Until she got to a level she was happy with, it would be best to have someone carry.

"What do you say to killing some wargs, big boy," she asked in the silkiest purr she could manage, flicking @Kyot0 on the nose with one finger.

“Right… Well you said something about killing wolves? No matter how weird this is I’m all for killing s**t. Count me in.” He smiles as all he see is this girl sitting on him and flaunting her chest at him. Kyoto is 19 and never in his life has he witness a girl being close to him like this. He’s not sure if he really like this or not but the fact she said if he’s up for killing something turned him on in wanting to show his true power. Kyoto gives off a huge smirk as he tries to get’s up but cant as she has him pinned down to the bench.

“You know this looks really awkward and I’m not sure if people are wanting to see two young adults out in public doing something like this.” Kyoto sighs a little as he looks around hoping no one looking at them as he seems to turn red. “Can you please get down off of me?”

"Excellent," Mutsu declared in a remarkably business-like tone. All trace of her flirty attitude from a few seconds previously was now completely gone. Well, almost. Mutsu slid easily from @Kyot0's lap and popped to her feet with the soft tinkle of jingling bells. In an instant she had swiped her right index finger in the air and pulled up her player menu. A few seconds later and her heavy breastplate and steel gauntlet appeared on her form, hiding the tight fitting leather jerkin. An instant later and there was a ten foot long Shao Lin Spear, which she had naturally affixed two jingle bells to the end of, that had appeared in her gauntleted right hand. "Well then," she said, cocking her head at Kyoto and crooking the finger of her left hand in his direction in a 'come hither' sort of way. "Let's get going! Those wargs aren't going to kill themselves!"

Kyoto grabs his head as he see’s her still on his lap but finally equipping her armor. “So why are you still on me?” He looks at her as she finally slides off of his lap. Kyoto examine her and see’s that she’s not as strong as him but she’s well equipped. He smiles as he gets up and equips his battle coat and his sword. As all you can see from him now is aa black coat with silver stripes running down the arm. Also starts to appear is his sword that is equipped in a sheath on his back.

Kyoto whistles as then he see’s his familiar fly down onto his shoulder. His dragon to be exact his skeleton dragon gives a small smirk to the girl as she rubs her head across his jaw like she’s a cat. “Now you know you’r not a cat, right?” He smiles at her seeing that she’s kind of sticking out like a sore thumb. How often do you see a Skeleton Dragon around here on Floor 2? “Anyways when are we heading out?” He gives her a smirk as he’s eager to get killing.

"We are heading out now," Mutsu said, she was already halfway to the main gate of Urbus, a rather intimidating looking, if a bit rusty, iron portcullis. "Sunlight and time are being wasted," she continued, even as she began materializing bells in her hands to affix to the spikes on her new piece of armor. It was high time this piece of loot she had gotten after defeating the Gemini got tested out. It was definitely miles better than her steel breastplate had been. Well, maybe not miles better but it was better. She still needed to accomplish some other things in order to truly optimize her gear the way she wanted it to be, but the road to that was becoming smoother all the time. "So, Randy Savage, you look like someone who has probably already cleared this quest at least one time already. What can I expect from these, so-called, wargs? They like those giant wolves from The Lord of the Rings?"
