Kit 0 Posted November 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2018 (edited) Appearance: Profile username: Kit real name: Kit Jones age: 31 height 5ft 11 1/2inch About - History/Personality: Known as just 'The Conductor' at a local bar. She would often bring her students to play classicly, but very fast-paced music to drinking establishments. Her favorite styles are jazz, classical, and video games music. Typically games featuring music such as final fantasy, persona, and Zelda. Prior to this, she grew up on the bad end of town where muggings happened often. While growing up she had to care for her family by also robbing others. Often using pickpocketing methods instead of aggressive tactics. During one of her prowls, she picked a target who displayed a much too easy wallet in the back pocket. It was an operation to stop gangs and thugs in the neighborhood, and she was arrested. However, she flipped the tables on the cops once she was captured. She was the criminal mind needed to prevent more thefts and muggings. With her cooperation, she was quickly pardoned and even assisted in becoming a music teacher. Prior to being a thief she was often on the streets playing a musical instrument and was often seen on youtube from people posting phone footage, but fame brought thieves and she lost out on rent several times, and at one point lost her instrument. Since becoming The Conductor she's able to take up her hobby at fishing and picking locks for fun, and that's when she started looking for another hobby. She heard about a game that was going to come out. One that was full immersion, and one that would allow her to likely use her real life abilities in it, maybe not the same way of course, but now she could legally pick locks again. The idea of fighting monsters and playing a dnd like game caught her interest. Little did she know that she would be trapped in the death game. Virtues/Flaws: Kit is very stubborn and bullheaded. She's very quick into the fray and tends not to back down. Because of this, however, if you befriend her and she sees you're in trouble she will not hesitate to have your back no matter how dire the situation looks. Her work ethic is very high, and she tends to commit herself over 100% the problem with this is she'll work until she drops and often needs someone to tell her to take a break. She's often forced into a leadership role but doesn't like it. She doesn't mind being the one with the plan but she hates when people look at her for help instead of helping themselves. In this aspect, she seems cold and pushes people to work harder, but it is often felt she works people to the point of walking away from her and the situation. Calculating, she is a numbers woman. If something is better via numbers that's all that matters. Because of this she is blinded from having fun and relaxing, which often leads to more stress. She's a perfectionist with slight OCD. It's very hard to please her, and hard for her to even please herself. Almost nothing is ever good enough, and it never will be, but when it works it works. This makes it hard for people to talk to her as they think she's 'too cool' or to high above others that she won't talk to anyone. In a sense it's true. However, if you strike up a normal conversation without any need of assistance she is more than likely to join in. Lack of self-worth. She often feels like she's never good enough and had to be told otherwise from those around. This can get frustrated to some as that cool personality she has seemed to falter and some people dislike that, and she dislikes that about herself as well. Brash and loud. Sometimes she might say something too loudly that gets too much attention. Usually done in libraries or when you're talking about some secret. If you didn't make it clear it was a secret it's likely she'll talk about it at one point or another with someone else. Trapophile - she likes dnd like traps to the point it can be her undoing. Puzzles are her sort of thing. Lore and everything with it are icing on the cake. Genderblind, she's pretty blind to gender, and gender roles. This makes her come off as tomboyish and sometimes people feel their gender questioned if they follow what society has put in place for them. Antidramalama, she doesn't have time for drama, and if you start it she'll find your boreish and won't tolerate it. This may stem from being a teacher and often hearing drama between her classmates. In this regard, it makes her easier to befriend as she's the type to follow orders unless she honestly thinks it could hurt too many people. Being a capitalist she's very invested in making money. This is due to having a shortage in her normal everyday life. She enjoys the finer things in life and thanks to her job enjoys travel, foods, rich music, and candles. It would be difficult to realize this about her as she'll live like a minimalist out of necessity. She still loves to watch her bank statement increase with every check. Some would call her frugal. They'd be right, but she still wants to spend her money on material things. It's a very difficult inner struggle that she has with herself. Flaws Stubborn - often believes she's right and it takes convincing. The more you yell or delegate the more she'll question, much like a finger trap you have to agree with her on some level before she sees your point of view and is willing to consider it. Genderblind - in ways this is good and bad. let us generalize a lady in a dress who refuses to fight. She'll wonder why the heck you brought the dress dude. The statement because I'm a girl will not compute with her. Also sometimes she can't tell based on cues of what a person is wearing what gender they are and just defaults to assuming everyone is male at the end of the day. Boys play video games right? That's how this works? Trapophile - hey look at this chest over here with an obvious trap in front of it. I want to trip the trap just to see it work or how it works. I'm curious. Perfectionist - and the wait continues. Sometimes being a perfectionist means nothing gets done, or no one gets to move on until she's finished. Otherwise, it'll aggravate her and tends to take up all of her time. Martyer - If you're my friend I mean nothing without you. What's the point without my friend. Cold - she's blunt at times and doesn't take drama or people's problems seriously. She's very much the get over it type of woman, but only because she's lived a hard life herself. She's warm at times but because of her posture and age, she can come off as cold. Virtues Calculating - need an advisor, let's run that plan by Kit. She'll find ways it can go wrong and we can compensate for it now instead of being surprised. She tries to think things through when a party is involved, or if someone asks her for her perspective. Patient - I don't have to kill the enemy at this moment. Let's see if it'll take me someplace interesting. Sometimes a screaming crying child can trigger her cold demeanor but she'll stand there and listen until they stop to listen to the true problem. Loyal - You're my friend, my team, my guild, something more, you say the world and I'll be there, and I'm not going to run away unless it's an order, however, I might not listen to that order. Helpful - I'll help you with what you want but don't count on a handout. She understands that sometimes a person may have lack of knowledge and can't help themselves and she will glad show them a way to succeed in life. Other times she'll notice that her height can help others and there is no way around it. Such as someone asking for something on a top shelf, or an elderly person asking her to open a jar. She understands a person needs help and is willing to help them. Though she might expect help from others in the same way. Justice - say what you want about her criminal record; she has an astuteness for fairness and sportsmanship thanks to being a teacher. She considers herself judge and jury with her students but will listen to the whole situation first. If someone is treated unfairly she will have no qualms defending them without hesitation. Default Capitalist - does it make money, okay let's do it!
