Mars 0 Posted January 31, 2019 Author #21 Share Posted January 31, 2019 (edited) Crouching low to the ground the katana user staying forth towards the enemy kicks off the ground towards the creature the blade moving as swiftly as it can towards the frozen enemy that is stuck where it stands. The blade moving inches away from the creature before the creature known as greed breaks out of the ice and manages to dodge the attack seemingly out of nowhere as it backs away from what would've been a surefire hit had it successfully landed. Backing away from the creature before it could get a chance to counterattack he would gaze towards the priest who starts chanting a prayer of some kind as a green light washes over the party..and nothing happens at all. Useless priest. The katana using fighter would mutter to himself as the NPC manages to once more prove how useless it is no matter the situation at hand. be it as a boss, or as a party member the priest being non the more helpful. #112257 BD:1 (how does my first attack keep being BD:1) MD:2(frozen/stunned) #112258 CD:10 removes all ailments/statuses from party (miraak roll ability.) Neopolitan 0 Posted February 1, 2019 #22 Share Posted February 1, 2019 Seeing most everyone else get their opening strikes in, Neo flipped around to give the creature another swing. It was still recovering from its freeze, so there wasn't too much to worry about. Making sure that it was struck, Neo then quickly backed up once more to let her tank of a husband front the hit. Hopefully the creature would be going for him once it began to move once more. Otherwise they may need to end this fight even quicker. As she was trying to go back into the deep shadows the floor offered, a light washed over her, completely ruining the stealth effect. Darn priest. You should've killed that traitor. Wha... traitor to who? You or us? You're not making sense. Both, he has no place to belong to anymore so why not end his miserable life. Because there's no reason to. Hazado 0 Posted February 7, 2019 #23 Share Posted February 7, 2019 Haz looks as the battle moves on hit after hit it seems as Mars just like last time has his luck cut out for him missing his first attack in battle, At least Neo seemed to do better and hit the enemy with a lot of power. He follows Neo right behind and strikes to hopefully hit the monster before him But as soon as he comes near the monster blinks away around out of reach for Haz to go for a second attack on him. "Darn it, Could you not," He said low before turning to Pin who was going to have the biggest hate of them all as Mars missed his attack and surely was gonna attack again and hitting as well, Tho something told Haz that Pin was not the one to do a thing as he seemed to be out of it for sure and Haz just ignored him, for the most part, leaving him a bit to his own game. "Come here you greedful baster, If you are so greedy, take the hit," He says to the monster he is facing waiting for it to act and take out his rage on anyone in the party. Pinball 1 Posted February 7, 2019 #24 Share Posted February 7, 2019 (edited) Wow! What a tank! He couldn't help but feel annoyed as he watched Haz take a swing and a miss. Mars was different though - he rarely missed, and he almost always got his job done. This guy, though... He was the center of the problem. People like him. But Pinball couldn't afford to lose himself in his thoughts that easily. He had to keep his focus and keep his cool, or else he'd end up getting the pommeling of a lifetime. He'd never fought a monster like this before, but judging from the amount of health it had left, Pinball could only assume that it would hit hard. But really! Was this guy a tank without Howl?! And he didn't seemed bothered by it in the least. Pinball was going to be real pissy with this guy when this fight was all said and done. Pinball threw himself forward, his spear scraping against the ground and sending up a trail of displaced dirt and ice. As he passed Hazado he shouted, "Way to carry your own weight, dip-!" And he was cut off as his spear collided with Greed Incarnate, cutting a chunk out of its healthbar and dropping it into the yellow. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Action Taken: Sword Art - [Dimension Stampede] [-13 EN/+1 EN] Greed Incarnate: ID#112429 BD: 6+5= 11 (Hit!) ~ 20*15= 300-50= 250 DMG [H: 1] Neopolitan: 780/780 HP | 57/78 EN | 15 DMG | 39 MIT | 3 ACC | 2 REC | 8-10 PLZ | 4 FLN [H: 1] Hazado: 640/640 HP | 45/64 EN | 15 DMG | 92 MIT | 0 ACC | 2 EVA | Safeguard [H: 3] Pinball: 980/980 HP | 73/98 EN | 20 DMG | 6 EVA | 5 ACC | 8-10/24 FRZ [H: 0] Mars: HP: 840/840 ENG: 82/84 DMG: 17 MIT:12 ACC: 4 EVA: 3 Savvy: 1(ACC when dodge) Regen: 10 HP 3 rounds [H:0] Miraak: 800/800 MIT:50 EVA: 2 Greed Incarnate: 861/2000 HP | 300 DMG | 50 MIT | 3 ACC Edited February 7, 2019 by Pinball
Mars 0 Posted February 7, 2019 Author #25 Share Posted February 7, 2019 (edited) Looking towards the creature of greed taking at least two good hits from the two primary dps he would clench his fist tightly around the blade that he now wields wishing he could just punch the image of greed like he could have done in the past. Kicking off the ground he would rush towards the being and do five quickly slashes around its forms as teh blade would dig into its bone armored like figure. Ending on the other side he would turn around to view the damage and see that he knocked about seemingly a third or fourth possible of its remaining health into nothingness. Satisfied with that he would nod his head before quickly backing away not noticing the green light that would surround himself and his allies as the priest would finish another prayer aloud and the subsequent no effect it had on anyone in the party. Shortly after that he would see the being of greed rush forward and try to slam down a punch towards his spear wielding ally onto to see the attack miss entirely. #112432 BD:6+4=10 17x15 San Ge 255-50=205DMG MD:5-6+3=2 miss -11 energy #112433 CD:5 heals everyone by 100 HP(no effect everyone at full health) [H: 1] @Neopolitan: 780/780 HP | 57/78 EN | 15 DMG | 39 MIT | 3 ACC | 2 REC | 8-10 PLZ | 4 FLN [H: 1] Hazado: 640/640 HP | 45/64 EN | 15 DMG | 92 MIT | 0 ACC | 2 EVA | Safeguard [H: 3] Pinball: 980/980 HP | 73/98 EN | 20 DMG | 6 EVA | 5 ACC | 8-10/24 FRZ [H: 1] Mars: HP: 840/840 ENG: 71/84 DMG: 17 MIT:12 ACC: 4 EVA: 3 Savvy: 1(ACC when dodge) Regen: 10 HP 3 rounds [H:0] Miraak: 800/800 MIT:50 EVA: 2 Greed Incarnate: 656/2000 HP | 300 DMG | 50 MIT | 3 ACC Edited February 7, 2019 by Mars
Neopolitan 0 Posted February 7, 2019 #26 Share Posted February 7, 2019 The others were doing their best to take this thing down, but it was quite the tank in terms of its own health. Thankfully, it seemed to be quite clumsy and unable to attack its fast moving targets. All that meant was they would hopefully leave this fight without a scratch. Another green light surrounded Neo as Miraak created another ineffective effect. It might have something to do with the corruption of the floor, but it was probably just an extra effect that was doing nothing for the time being. For all she knew, it was a piece of the game the creators hadn't touched in ages. Who knew if anyone was even still working on this game right now. Striking against the monster, she did her best to make sure she was out of the way of it and ensure she wasn't the one getting targeted. As mjuch as she may be able to tank the attack, she didn't want that to happen. Hazado 0 Posted February 7, 2019 #27 Share Posted February 7, 2019 Hazado does not pay much attention to anything happening and just attacks after an attack, Last time he missed his [censored] but it looks like the monster is busy with Pinball. Well not to much to worry for sure it was just Pinball. Haz took the change to attack as well now and moved in after Neo attacked the monster as with a powerful thrust his spear into the monsters back releasing it faster then and before Haz knew it he was getting a hit on the monster of greed. It was sure Pin did not look happy about getting attacked and seemed not to be much happier with Haz, but Haz was not about to throw his life away for a low life like Pinball. Even if he used howl he would have been out very fast and Pin would be attacked again no matter what, so what was the use to even try to use it if it had no effect at all. Pinball 1 Posted February 7, 2019 #28 Share Posted February 7, 2019 (edited) Whatever! Whatever, whatever, whatever. He'd fight it himself if he wanted to be like that. Pinball felt the heat behind his ears as he passed Hazado. Oh, boy, Pinball was not having it. He didn't even care about him. Well, kind of. But! There were others here, and he hated liars. Hazado had promised he'd protect the group, and he wasn't seeing him follow through. Plus, he hated this guy's whole main character shtick. Like so many other players in this crappy game, they were too self-important. Too concerned with stats or money or getting to the frontlines. He couldn't- they don't- He couldn't even find the words! What the hell was he ranting about?! Pinball shook his head angrily, unleashing another Dimension Stampede into Greed Incarnate, and mentally preparing himself for the attack he knew was going to come. Mars 0 Posted February 7, 2019 Author #29 Share Posted February 7, 2019 (edited) Seeing the monster on its last leg of health from taking the beating from the other three's attacks more so than his really the katana using mars would move forward as swiftly as he could with his familiar at his side. The liger firing out a torrent of flames to hit the incarnation of greed as Mars would get behind it and cut into it three different times along its back as the creature would let out a distorted cry of pain as it bursts into red pixels. Showing a reward from killing this thing as he would nod his head taking the reward and mentally putting that amount away to evenly split it among the others at a later date. 'It's a nice reward for certain though.' He thinks to himself calmly before gazing back towards the others and taking note of the various energy levels, and to him more importantly the state of the spear wielder. Walking towards Pinball he would put a hand upon his shoulder and give him a flat look and say in a low hushed voice to keep it between the duo of players. I know that you might not like this group. However, i ask of you to try and just work through this for the moment. If need be you could always duel one or both of them if you want to prove a point though. He offers as some kind of advice towards the spear wielder to try and help him before backing away and looking towards the group and waiting to see their response. Neopolitan 0 Posted February 7, 2019 #30 Share Posted February 7, 2019 Seeing that Mars had finished off the large beast, Neo foudn herself a bit of a seat to recover some of her energy. SHe wasn't in desperate need for it, but it was better to be safe rather than sorry. Besides, these mobs would probably be a little bit higher than her run of the mill considering that Mars and Pinball were both higher level than her. Hearing Mars open up Pinball to challenge them, Neo was a little bit on guard though. You should just kill him now while the time is right. Neither of us are damaged and I am probably at a lower energy than him. But you would consider it if you were at an advantage. He may be orange, but that is no excuse to just attack him. But it means that if you buy off your witnesses, or leave none, no one will be the wiser. No, why do you think this. Is it really me thinking this? Or am I just something you made up to justify your actions? @Hazado
Hazado 0 Posted February 7, 2019 #31 Share Posted February 7, 2019 Haz looked as Mars does the last hit and he turns away putting his Speak next to him before it seems things where done. He was not going to speak with the group as He had it in the end, Something inside him made him just feel a bit of rage and something else, something he could not lay his words on. He looks at Mars as he speaks to Pinball for a bit, Pff, nothing to care about, He shows no interest so why should I, He thinks before picking up his spear and making his way on before anyone can even stop him. Haz did not feel like going back now and did not want to be bothered by it. Walking quite a bit ahead of them all Haz did not want to start anything as wasting energy on them would be something of a great waste of time as a greater enemy was lurking around here and this was going to get even worst to start a fight within the group. It was now just to put their heads together and kill the next boss, as it was going to be harder than this Greedy monster. @Pinball
Pinball 1 Posted February 7, 2019 #32 Share Posted February 7, 2019 (edited) He brushed Mars off, glaring straight ahead. "Nah," he growled, "I've gotta make a few things clear." Pinball hefted his spear over his shoulder, the Demonic weapon's cold aura chilling his fingers. "Hey," he shouted at @Hazado. As the armored man turned away and tried walking a bit ahead of the group, the teenager felt a sharp stab of anger. His nostrils flared, and he put on another burst of speed to catch up. "Hey, Mr. Tank." Pinball made a swipe at his armor, and would grab him and pull the guy's face closer to his, his fingers wrapping tighter around the polearm in his grasp. "What happened to protecting the party?" Pinball didn't let him speak. He didn't want an answer. "You scared of these things? I thought wearing that armor made you real tough. I thought main characters don't die. And I thought tanks were supposed to be the selfless ones. I'll tell you what." Pinball grabbed his spear and shoved it into a patch of dirt, but his hands never left his weapon - they couldn't. This guy took up the responsibility of being a tank, and Pinball was going to make him follow up with that promise. And if he still refused, he was going to show him exactly what he thought about his self-preservation. If he let others do that for him, then he was no better than the monsters they were fighting. "If I don't see you up at the front taking the hits like you said you would," Pinball began, glowering - and he felt a flash of some unidentifiable emotion; the same one he had felt when he killed Sugutsuya. "Then I'm gonna give you an early taste of the kind of hits you'll be taking on the front lines you care so much about." He let Hazado go, and then tapped his armor with a finger. "Starting with you," he said, his voice dripping with venom. Then he pointed to Neo, "and then her." Pinball yanked his spear out of the ground, and used it to point at Miraak. "And then that preacher with the face that's pissing me off." "I'll put you in the ground myself." And with one last angry snort, he swung his spear across his shoulder and turned around, seething as he walked back to Mars. Edited February 7, 2019 by Pinball
Mars 0 Posted February 7, 2019 Author #33 Share Posted February 7, 2019 He would nod towards his rival as he would say what he says as Mars more so keeps his eye upon the pink haired rapier using girl to make sure that she doesn't do anything to his partner, and or try to attack him with some form of weapon that would deal damage. Which if she would attempt that the katana user would be quick to try and intercept her with the use of his katana to parry away the strike from hitting his rival and partner Pinball. Otherwise, as Pinball would make his way back towards Mars he would just give him a calm nod of his head for saying what he wanted to before focusing back to the other two players that are with them at the moment. With that said and off everyone's chest lets get moving forward since we have thins to kill and some kind of evil force to stop since clearly that greed thing wasn't it if mister priest is still with us. He says in a rather flat and plain tone of voice trying to make sure their is minimal room for argument that could try to press forward and refocus everyone back onto the quick and easy goal of what is to be accomplished. Neopolitan 0 Posted February 9, 2019 #34 Share Posted February 9, 2019 ((Splitting up to kill loot minimum mobs, as we have to get through 32 of them; stealth is for RP purposes only this post)) Neo saw that pinball didn't like Hazado's style. Admittedly, he wasn't the best tank right now, but Pinball was overreacting. Perhaps that was the reason he had turned orange. It seemed that these overreactions were what drove him in his existence. As he pointed towards her threatening her own life she just waited for him to calm down. Pulling her rapier in front of her and letting its energy leech out into the air, she vanished with a flash of black from it. A silent threat to leave her alone or face the power she knew her blade held. While in her stealth, she quickly sent out a message telling the group to split up so they could cover more ground that way. They were going to have to find that seal eventually, and there was probably going to be a lot of things blocking their way between here and there. @Hazado
Hazado 0 Posted February 9, 2019 #35 Share Posted February 9, 2019 Haz turns to face an Angry looking Pinball, from under his helmet he looks quite uninteresting. He was not in the mood at all and something inside him was even a bit laughing at the fact that Pinball tried to look threatening. "Wow, Look at you, Sadly I don't sink so low as you," He said sounding very cold in his voice like all his emotions left the bulk of armor at once. As he then tapped his armor saying he was gonna start with Haz then move on the Neo and the NPC, Haz out of reflex Took his speak holding it right to Pin's Back, pulling up a menu, " Give you one good reason not to Message Hestia now," He said very direct sounding like he would just do it any moment and very cold. He then looked to Neo as she seemed to also have pulled her weapon and aiming it at Pin. It was clear tension was rising here and Haz knew that by attacking Pin he would sink as just as low as this boy, " Be happy your just a waste of time, I'm happy to lock you up forever, making clear we are on the same page won't work as we clearly are, but you are far, far below me on the stares," He said to Pin pulling down the Menu before moving on ignoring now Pinball for the whole time of this quest. @Pinball
Pinball 1 Posted February 9, 2019 #36 Share Posted February 9, 2019 (edited) Pinball had had enough of this guy's holier-than-thou attitude. He felt another spike of anger stab him in the chest, and he was seeing red. Hestia? Hestia? "You think I'm scared of Hestia?" Pinball turned around to face the armored man once more - turned around to have a spear pointed at him. That was only fuel to the flames. Who does he think he is? Who did he think he was talking to? He'd gotten away from Hestia once and he'd do it again. Her presence here held no sway over him, and the way Pinball flicked his spear off his shoulder made that clear. "I think I should give you a couple." But he didn't move, and he didn't say anything else. Not yet. He waited for Haz to finish, but what the tank said next was the final nail in the coffin for him. This guy's mentality made him angry. And everyone had it to some degree - even Mars. Why did everyone think they were better than the rest? Why do others look down on people? And why did nobody care about the nameless? How could they not notice the pain they caused? So many questions hit Pinball at once. Things shouldn't be like this.. people can't be like this. They couldn't. They couldn't be so narrow minded. "I hope you're good with that spear." Pinball took a step forward, his voice low and thick with emotion. "I hope you don't just hide behind your armor." "I've got a feeling you've never been close to death before. Do you want me to show you? I'm sure I can be quick enough about it." Pinball glared, and his spear twitched slightly, but he only took another step forward before stopping. His head was throbbing with rage, and he was ready to go at the first sign of him still wearing that stupid suit of pride. He grit his teeth hard, trying to ignore the throbbing anger that was assaulting his mind. That whole group of people was a malignant tumor on the skull of the human race. And Pinball was starting to want to nip it in the bud. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Action Taken: Sword Art - [Dimension Stampede] [-2 EN/+1 EN] Hazado: ID#112536 BD: 1 (Critical Miss!) Mars 0 Posted February 9, 2019 Author #37 Share Posted February 9, 2019 He would see the fight immediately happen occur within only a moment as his rival would charge forward with a spear and try to attack the tank of the group as a soft sigh escapes his lips at that sight as he would make his way forward. Making his way around the fight in question while gazing towards the pink haired player and raises his sword towards her with a raised eyebrow. I trust Pinball to not kill Haz. Don't interfere with this please, and just allow Pinball to get whatever is out of his system out of his system. It'll probably be better to do this now rather than something like during the actual fight of this quest. He says calmly towards the girl as he settles into his own stance ready to intercept and attack her if need be with no aggressive attacks towards her. The black haired man would interfere only with parrying strikes to stop her from getting close to Pinball and Hazado and their duel. The black haired katana user just waiting for the first sign of one dropping into the yellow, or taking a rather nasty first strike.
Neopolitan 0 Posted February 11, 2019 #38 Share Posted February 11, 2019 Neo was already long gone by the time the fight had started to break out. Though they may have thought she would stick around to see the results of what happened, she was pretty sure it was just everyone having high tensions. All she wanted to do was get this quest done and move forward. She didn't pull Miraak off with her though, leaving that to heal some bruised egos later. Boys will be boys I guess. They really should know better than to fight when we're in an area with tougher mobs. Regardless of level, this place is not for random challenging. If Pin really wanted to come after her, she would make sure to be leaving a trail of undead to weaken him. Good, feed off of that anger. Let it show you the true meaning to greatness. The only reason I'm agreeing to be cautious right now is because he is actually a threat. Isn't everyone? No. Are you sure? Yes, now stop bothering me. Oh, you're the one bothering me. At least, if you really wanted me to be quiet, why bring me to the place I am strongest. Neo didn't think a response. Hazado 0 Posted February 11, 2019 #39 Share Posted February 11, 2019 As then he heard Pinball speak again and his voice was going a going like crazy. It was clear He got mad at Hazado now and Haz turned around to see Pinball hold his spear right in front of him, Or did he just miss the attack or did you just try to intimidate the Tank. If so Haz was really not faced as he stared into deaths eyes already quite a lot more then a tank should even and Neo was even the proof of one. He took his own spear and with quite a lot of power hits against Pinball's own spear pushing it out of the way with a lot of power almost hitting it out of his hands. "If you meant to scare me, You failed, Death knows me and did not want me before," He said sounding quite proud and did not even move from his spot like he knew something was going to show Pinball that Haz was not Just someone to mess around with as he maybe was the only player still with this stat. "It Is a shame to attack First against a weak minded person like you, So tell me PIN, take your power and attack me if you dare," He said demanding with full on Pride. As he stares into Pinball's eyes from behind his helmet he smiles and smiles, Knowing what was about to happen for sure. As then in the distance, you could hear a small bit of roaring off something moving to the sound of combat. Standing with his Spear and Armor right before Pin as he held his spear in one hand, pointing it still at Pinball, so if Pinball wanted to attack he needed to move around the spear. You could clearly see that Haz was changing a bit, as his Pride got the best of him for sure as slowly a small red glow was seen in his helmet, almost like his Left eye started Glowing Red. Pinball 1 Posted February 11, 2019 #40 Share Posted February 11, 2019 (edited) He didn't bother Charging. Not yet. He'd save that scare for when he hit, first. Pinball instead walked forward, spear in hand. He kept getting angrier and angrier. And Hazado kept failing to see the point he was trying to make. Why was he so stubborn? Why couldn't they see? Why were people so damn stupid? Hazado was no different from him, whether he liked it or not. Why did nobody understand that? And why the hell didn't Pinball have the words to accurately express how he felt, even to himself? All he felt right now was anger, though. Pure, mindless, unadulterated rage. The roaring in his ears drowned out the actual roar of a monster in the distance. Maybe if he couldn't express himself, Pinball could make him see. And when Hazado went on to belittle Pinball's place in society for a second time, he unleashed Dimension Stampede. "Shut. Up." Pinball let Cardinal carry his body through the Sword Art. But something felt off. Where his spear should have hit metal, his spearhead was instead met with a blue energy that forced the weapon away. Each hit was warded off this guy's armor, sliding to the side or just completely stopping his blows in its tracks. Safeguard? I thought that enhancement was gone? Then he threw his weight backwards, rocketing away from the armored player, visibly confusion written across his face. Well, whatever. He didn't have anything protecting him now, and if he kept his distance, Hazado would have a hard time hitting him. Pinball felt another sharp throb of anger. He was going to make him hurt. And then, maybe then... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Action Taken: Sword Art - [Dimension Stampede] [-14 EN/+1 EN] Hazado: ID#112582 BD: 7+3= 10 (Hit!) ~ 20*15= 300-92= 208 DMG {Safeguard!} Pinball: 980/980 HP | 43/98 EN | 20 DMG | 5 ACC | 6 EVA | 8-10/24 FRZ Hazado: 640/640 HP | 30/64 EN | 15 DMG | 92 MIT | 0 ACC | 2 EVA | Safeguard Edited February 12, 2019 by Pinball
