Elouviana is of a unique mindset, and this got her into a lot of trouble with her peers and the adults around her. When she was a child, she aggressively sort out friends, as to her, that was the best way to go about it. Strike first, and claim victory. It didn't work out, and she was difficult to understand, and so simply passed off as being weird. There is always an underlying reason behind Elou's actions, but it is usually only perceivable to her. In the more recent years, she has managed to get somewhat of a handle on herself to deal with the customers that she gets, but even they know her as an eccentric and slightly overbearing person who is intensely passionate about her work, which is the main reason she even has any work to begin with.

She has a very bubbly, happy persona that makes her rather active and so more reserved people can have trouble dealing with her at times. But she is already ready to help people out, regardless of what they have done in the past. There is only one exception, however. And that is for people who view progress and advancement above their morality and principles. People that are willing to sell themselves out to get a better place in life have no chance of getting anywhere with Elou, since she distrusts them and does not believe that they could ever make even slightly dependable friends.

When all is said and done, she has a very reactive persona. She does things that feel right and relies heavily on her instinctual understanding to know what right is. This can lead her to doing some strange things that aren't exactly right, but she always means well and will help to repair anything that is damaged by a less-than-thought out act.

 

How she managed to get into this game, is an amusing thing. Elouviana had a small shop where she made costumes and did repairs for clothes. One short-notice request came in with an absurd price tag were she to finish it by tomorrow. So, at 4 in the morning, she was knocking on the man's door with a very broad grin and the completed dress. From there, she was given one of the 10,000 copies of SAO. At first she thought about mauling the guy for tricking her into this and just giving her a game, but eventually decided to check it out before mauling commenced. And, well...there was no log-out button.

Virtues:

Helping: Elou will generally - see flaws - always help a person out when they need it .Whatever they require, if it is within her power, and isn't illegal, then she will lend her aid to them. It is partially because she likes helping people, and also partially because she wants to make a lot of friends, and so anyone that she helps will in the future become a friend. At least, that is how she sees it, but reality can often rear it's ugly head.

Focused: One can be assured that once Elou has set to a task, she will not be distracted from it by shinies, and it will be done in short order. This dedication and promptness works wonders for people who need things done quickly, and allows her to avoid being overwhelmed or caught with a backlog and then run down by angry people who want their thing doing. Some can even feel somewhat enlightened or amazed with the focus in which Elou gives a task.

Elation!: The main thing about Elou is that she is exceptional at morale purposes simply because of the authentic jubilence she puts out all the time. Clearly something a bit wrong with her head to be so bubbly and happy in a game where she could die any moment to a giant boar, but the reality of the matter doesn't change the fact that she can help other people feel better, feel that the world isn't all just dingy darkness and despair.

Flaws:
 

Focused: As much a flaw as a boon, Elou can be really focused on a task once she sets to it. And if this task is the task of making a friend or helping someone with their issues, then that will not be as well received as another person's efforts. Comfortably somewhere between pushy and stalker, the overbearing nature of Elou is a thing to behold, and while it can be tempered by people that do know her, new friends might find it quite the challenge to adapt too.

Grudges: Elou rarely, if ever, judges a person or holds a mindset about them. So when she does, that is stuck for life. She is very stubborn and willful when it comes to her perception of someone, and it is very difficult to get her to change her mind about something once it has been made. While it is rarely made to such a degree, it does not budge  when it is made, and Elou will have nothing more to do with the person. Stubborn to the point of death.

Morbid mindset: "But you could die at any moment in the real world as well. Heart attack, brain aneurysm, mugging gone wrong, mugging gone right, drunk driver, drunk person, nervous police officer, angry Yakuza man, angry citizen, falling over, choking on your dinner. In here it's just a giant boar man" is an accurate assessment of Elou's thoughts. Which could go a long way to explain why she is not at all bothered by the fact that SAO is fatal when you run out of hp.
