Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Once more i start my descent into insanity to prepare for grinding upon this floor to get some nice amount of col and mats to pay off neo and to prepare for buying a home in Aincrad alongside having to prepare myself to buy a guild hall in the future. Which means that despite the tempting offer of Floor twenty two for some unidentified gear to give towards Kairi i have to stay on top of everything and prepare as well alongside those moments. To find that perfect balance of col, and unidentified being what i need to achieve. Though this time i have Sey helping me out, and if i can convince Fireheart to join as well that is at least a tier two axe swinging girl if i can get her up to that level as fast as i can. I say to myself with a smile. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #2 Share Posted May 3, 2019 It was really only a matter of when that could be achieved though in terms of how fast i could try to level up Fireheart. Since it’s a matter of making sure i can find the time to level her up by being their by being the tank that could take the damage that she wouldn't normally otherwise handled by herself. ‘Like if i tried to take her on a quest like the trouble in the mines. I think even i wouldn’t want to do that again, and i did that with Zandra who was able to tear through those things.’ I think to myself in amusement at the thought of remembering the rather powerful axe wielding woman just move through waves of the small dragon kin creatures. Charging forward towards the group of mobs with my sword glowing with a blue light i quickly cut through at least three of them as i raise my shield to block two of the hits that were directed towards myself as i feel two other attacks impact against my armor. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Though even with that being a fact i know that eventually Embers could do that quest just as swiftly if given the time to just tear through them at tier three. It’s just a matter of if i can try to convince her to go on such quests, but even then i am rather confident in the fact that if that was the case i would just let her choose the quest. Once more activating the same sword art that i use for grinding through these mobs as fast as i can i charge forward with my curved sword in hand as i manage to land an attack against all four of the mobs cutting into their health pools and knocking one to almost about half health. Having dodged two attacks that were sent towards myself from the mobs and using my shield to block the other two as i just smile at the rather successful little bout' between myself and the mobs as i activate the sword art once more as quickly as i could. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Take things at the pace she would decide for herself rather then what would shoot her up towards the frontlines as fast as possible. ‘Since as much as i would appreciate her fire up there right about now i don’t think we need anymore tier two players making things difficult on energy reserves in terms of energizing them.’ I think to myself with a slight frown with such a thought as the difficulty of managing both Kairi, pinball, and Neo comes to mind from the floor twenty four boss fight. I then Charge forward as i quickly cut through the mobs once more lowering them all towards half health or just about half health as i feel two impacts slam against my armor and the other two bounce off of my shield as i take a quick glance towards my health pool and just nod my head accepting that i am slowly resting towards the halfway point as well like these mobs. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted May 3, 2019 The fact that it also interfered with the need that i had to heal each of them as well which put myself in that dangerous position of needing to balance healing among each and every single one of them as well. Which rather quickly proved difficult and makes me realize why tier three was the minimum bar for why i joined. With the thought in mind i quickly make my way across the battlefield once more. Cutting through the mobs as one bursts into red hexagonal death particles as it surrounds my form ever so briefly as i raise my shield blocking two hits with it as the last impacts against my armor dodging the shield metallic death that could've been awaiting it. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #6 Share Posted May 3, 2019 which wasn’t even getting into the point of now realizing if i joined as a tier two against Bialas i might’ve died a quick and swift death against the thing as a tank. ‘Even if i wasn’t a tank for that fight to begin with, or a tank during the dark council. In the end i still survived both i guess is the major thing really.’ i think calmly to myself as the brief memories of such fights come to mind from the thundering hooves of the unicorn Bialas making his rounds through the boss room. Rushing forward once more i quickly dash past two enemies once more with my curved sword as i raise my shield to block the hit of the one i just struck as it bursts into red pixels just leaving me with a singular mob left standing against me. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #7 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Remembering the lightning that followed the mythical beast with each pounding step against the ground, and in comparison the dark and calm council room. The humanoid like creatures forcing players to attack them since it was a floor boss, and subsequently the fall of the frontlines when Hirru protected Durares in the end. ‘The right choice, but the one that hurt us in terms of numbers that we needed during Leviathan.’ Quickly activating a sword art that i haven't had the chance to use in awhile i quickly slash into the loot mob for four quick strikes as it bursts into red hexagons like its compatriots as my health restores to a rather sufficient amount overall after i give myself a field medic or two to recover enough for the next fight. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #8 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Placing a hand against my chest a green aura surrounds me as the light of a field medic recovers my HP to something taht is sustainable if just one or two mobs had tried to jump me for some kind of combat fight. Though overall not being enough to sustain myself throughout this entire loot grinding adventure for the next four mobs that i plan to fight against. If Macradon was present i could’ve at least focused a lot better on helping out team Calrex or just better team formations could’ve been achieved. We could’ve even still had Hirru, team Shield, and that third healer Anemone. I mutter softly to myself as everything that could’ve gone wrong went wrong from one decision made by the emerald hunter. The decision that effected everything from something that nobody could've predicted how one such decision shaped so much. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #9 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Releasing a sigh i allow my mind to continue to wander as i just do my best to rest so that i can get the loot that is needed for my guild, needed for my place of living. With having some col deposited into a home i can improve my own level. If i can improve my own level that means i can better off focus on just making sure that i can help as many people around me as possible. With house buffs it’ll just cement the fact that i am like Calrex at this point just a player that the game can’t keep up with since it isn’t balanced for people like myself and him. The two people that have somehow surpassed the others in supposedly record breaking times if the information that i have received about Calrex is true, and for myself knowing that is the fact of how things went since i am now evenly matched with Aincrad's highest level player. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #10 Share Posted May 3, 2019 The players who are already basically at end game levels of health and are just missing the mitigation values to match when it comes time for it. With house buffs i can at least cement that my dreams won’t die, and i can at least guarantee i’ll be able to write the story of Aincrad no matter what. I say softly to myself as the notebook comes to mind as it enters into my mind. The notebook with all the information i’ve experienced and seen within the world of Aincrad from the players, to the various locations, and rather recently started doing what Hikoru does and even added in quests that i’ve experienced. Since if i can have that information like Hikoru does i can accurately take people out on quest without them needing to die from a lack of information that was needed in a crucial moment that could allow them to live. 2/2 FM 3/3 Out of combat
Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #11 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Once more putting my hand against my chest i allow a green light to surround my body as i heal up the injuries i had been sustaining during the fights beforehand as i check out my HP and nods my head finding that it is most likely alright for another group of four mobs possible. Which means i should start heading out to get ready to fight against them. Putting my head back down i turn and then just starts walking once more to fight against the next four mobs that come across my path so i can quickly just cut them down before they could become a problem that would be annoying to deal with. Shield at the ready to defend against an attack, and my sword ready to utilize the nice abilities of concentration, and charge combined to allow me an easy time to strike against with a early and powerful strike. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #12 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Seeing the group of four appear once more i activate my sword art as i quickly combine the two abilities before rushing forward and quickly carving through the four mobs my shield out and blocking three out of four hits as i watch the health values plummet rather quickly as i just grin with a rather happy grin at that. I then put myself to a stop and allow my mind to wander back towards the notebook of information. To the singular goal i now have of just maintaining these levels, and maintaining the strength needed in combat. That even if i have added players i did make sure to leave myself out from the story entirely for the moment. ‘I’m not needed in it to be written down since i wrote die thus my story doesn’t need to be preserved just yet.’ I think to myself with a slightly grim and saddened smile at that since the idea of if i do survive to the very end. Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #13 Share Posted May 3, 2019 The leviathan proved it could knock people down towards fatal levels of HP with just its room effect. ‘We might need to enforce a mitigation usage upon everyone in future raids since if that is a repeat i don’t want people dying because of some gimmick like that. We need to protect as many as we can.’ I think to myself with a determined look shining within my eyes as i once more cut through the mobs that i am fighting. I then go to attack the four mobs as swiftly as i can with my sword art and manage to miss the entire group entirely with my blade with two of them having just been ever so slightly short of striking against them. With my attempt being met with two powerful strikes against my armored form, and one monster slamming into my shield as i quickly push it away with a shove. And while i'm at it i'll probably make sure people go in fully buffed or not at all since we can't afford a half-as***** group like we did going into leaviathan. There were too many things going wrong during that fight because of the fact of people not with teleport crystals and fully buffed. I say in a irritated tone of voice. I quickly try to think of the amount of items i have and nods my head after a few seconds knowing i have enough teleport crystals to give towards at least a full group when it comes towards a raid group. 'We need to be much more strict on having a teleport crystal at the ready by the time they show up for the frontline meeting, not the raid maybe the actual meeting itself.' Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #15 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Which then brings in the question of if we should put in some serious thought in having quick little scouting runs before hand when entering into a boss fight. I think that might prove as something useful that those who find the labyrinth will do a quick little scout into the room to make sure that when they present their finding to the other players we then having accurate info on what to expect for the fight. I say softly to myself since the annoyance of floor twenty three and twenty four were caused by a lack of scouting before hand on what the boss was. Quickly moving forward and once more cutting through the mobs i glance at their HP values and see three in the red, and one in the yellow which is overall rather amazing for where i am currently in this combat against the four mobs. '10 more mats to pay off that stupid debt i have towards Neo. But at the very least it'll be worth it by the end since i can then just be on my way. I need as many of these i can get.' I think to myself calmly as i get up from my spot on the ground and watches as the chest bursts into light blue crystals as i nod at that before turning around and heading in the direction of the exit to make my way out of the nature's treasure area. Knowing i won't get much anymore out of this and i'll just wait for a bit back at the main settlement where i should heal up a bit faster. Then i can just head back here and repeat that cycle. #115938 LD;20+2(gold key)=22 4200 Col, 10 T3 materials, 2 perfect weapon, perfect consumable 54120 COL, 36 T3 mats, 5 perfect T3 unidentified Heavy Armor, 4 perfect T3 unidentified consumable, 10 perfect T3 unidentified rapiers, 1 rare unidentified T3 trinket, intermediate F21 dungeon Map , 1 perfect unidentified T3 consumable
Hestia 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Author #20 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Crossing the rocky and cavernous floor my mind wanders for a little bit back towards the issues of the frontlines as my eyes narrow as i just nod my head firmly as i think towards a specific cook. Sey seems like i'll need you cooking double time for the frontline prep to make sure nobody does something stupid, and i'll need to see if i can get Morgenstern crafting up a storm of alchemic supplies as well. Then i can prepare a mountain of performer debuffs that are instant use when it comes time. We need to be as prepared as we can be no more doing this in a half-hearted manner. We can't afford that. I say softly as i continue making my way as i exit the nature's treasure area and enters back into the main settlement as i rest on a bench as i watch my health recover much faster then if i would've waited in a combat area. Summary: 1 SP, 54520 COL, 36 T3 mats, 5 perfect T3 unidentified Light Armor, 4 perfect T3 unidentified consumable, 10 perfect T3 unidentified rapiers, 1 rare unidentified T3 trinket, intermediate F21 dungeon Map , 1 perfect unidentified T3 consumable
