[Event-F22] Star-Crossed Lovers [Tier 3]

Itzal, didn't make a war cry.  He didn't see the point in it since both Macradon and Zandra already did so, but it also wouldn't fit the image he'd made up.  He had to act like Are in front of others, so he may as well.  Itzal charged forward towards the boss.  He dealt his pathetic share of damage, once again doubting he'd get the final hit bonus.  Or drop rather.  Maybe he could get it from the player who did get it.  Doubtful seeing as how no one even knew who the hell he was at this point, but still.  Worth a shot.  Itzal leaped back and landed beside Zandra.  "Agreed.  We need to aid them swiftly.  They don't appear to be doing too well."  Then he said to Zandra specifically.  "It's a little disturbing...  The fact that this boss was rather easy for us to defeat, but the tier two players are struggling with their own.  Is this supposed to be some sort of test from Kayaba?  With the boss changes, nothing is clear to me anymore..."

The raid's attacks met the gargantuan, watery form of the Rain King in an explosion of color. Their Sword Arts and their words rang true! The monster's health dropped to zero in an instant. The Event Boss reered its ugly head, cackling one last time in the face of its death. And then its form began to crumble under its own weight, tentacles, arms, claws, and teeth dropping into the water from whence it came, shattering like glass before it even breached the surface. 

The rain's intensity quickly lessened and became a drizzle, and soon after it stopped altogether. The skies cleared and once more they would be free to admire the stars above. It was calm, now. Had they won? Or was this just the beginning of something more? Either way, the T2 players were still having trouble with their own fights. 

In front of them all reward screens would blaze to life, containing their individual prizes for successfully defending the festival from the invasion. Hikoru would surely be pleasantly surprised to find that he had gotten the LA Bonus, and had received a comfortable lump of col and mats for it. 

Regardless, the day was won, and they would now be free to leave or assist as they saw fit.

As he felt his paralyzed effect seemingly wear off before the timer was supposedly set to expire Calrex looked around for a moment, "Guess the boss' death let me off the hook early. Guess that's good."

He could hear people talking about assisting the other players in there fight, specifically the tier two players that were having to deal with the boss' hordes. With a small sigh he stretched his arms, glancing at the safeguard effect he had consumed for the fight, "Well I hope that thing stays intact since it wasn't triggered. Alright then, better get moving before the situation there takes a turn for the worse."

"Also kind of hoping I'll be healed up the by the time I get there. Nonetheless if it's mobs we're dealing with then I'd better switch to axe now, rather than waste Quick Change trying to switch at the battle."

Swiping on his menu the Grand Gauntlets III vanished from his forearms as his massive battle axe formed in his right hand. Placing the majority of the weight onto his shoulder the Ultramarine Knight gave a nod to the others that were heading over, "Better not keep our tier two teammates waiting then."
