Kityuisa had traveled to the magnificent waterfall prior in the day. She had all of her gear equipped. Sitting down was calming. Her eyes just casually watching the waterfall rumble and drop into the pool. There were flat topped rocks laying all around her, and Kityuisa sat atop one of the flat, smooth stones. Kityuisa had heard rumors of this place, which was the very reason that she had arrived at the waterfall. Her legs, sitting cross-legged. Her butterfly kimono only enhancing the scene. Kityuisa was leaning back. She couldn't get rid of her awe of the waterfall. She had never seen anything this beautiful, not even in her home town. The forgotten village in Japan. Kityuisa looked around, there were no monsters in sight. Only butterflies, fluttering around the many luxurious plants. The sound of the bird's song in the distance. It was rather relaxing to say the least. Kityuisa thought for a moment..

Kityuisa had been told to close her eyes and meditate. Her body would remain but her mind would travel to another dimensional plane. Taking a deep breath, Kityuisa fluttered her eyelids shut. She was prepared to face whatever her inner demons were. Kityuisa sat for minutes... And these minutes turned into hours. The sound of the waterfall bringing a sense of utter relaxation on Kityuisa's muscles. This was the most relaxed she had felt in quite a long time. Sword Art Online definitely took a toll on Kityuisa. Her body seeming to just calmly sit there. She could feel her own spirit, the spirits of the waterfall. In her own mind she pictured the scene that lay before her. Her hands resting on her knees, her legs on top of each other. The cool mist of the waterfall mad the area even more serene. Kityuisa wanted to face her inner demons... She wanted this chance.

[Kityuisa 0]

All of a sudden, Kityuisa's mind brought her forth, out of her own body. It was what the rumors had said. From here on out, she could tell that everything that happened would be her own mind speaking to her and acting for her, and against her. Kityuisa was presented with a never ending pitch black void with a single flower in the very center. Kityuisa was curious as to what the single flower meant. Her mind urged her to take a few steps forward, so she did. Kityuisa was curious to say the least. The flower intrigued her more than not. Her mind found its way to the flower, where Kityuisa peered closer. Her vision getting closer and closer to the flower. Her mind zoomed in all of a sudden and Kityuisa felt her body falling. The unfamiliar feeling of jumping off a building filling her body. Kityuisa couldn't help but let out a scream internally. 

[Kityuisa 0]

Her internal scream cut short as she was flashed straight into a hazy void. The color was unknown to the human eye. Kityuisa couldn't put a name to the color of this void, but the flower was still, in the center of the ground. Kityuisa did not want to feel the same thing she had felt, so she kept her feet rooted to the void. But her mind had other thoughts. The single flower began moving towards her before sprouting and taking shape before her very own "eyes". It was a shadow- human like being. It had the same size and shape as Kityuisa herself. It lifted its wry finger and pointed. Kityuisa's mind shot her towards the area the finger was pointing, and Kityuisa blinked. She was now seated on a chair in a light grey room. There were four doors, crimson red in color with blood dripping from the door frames. Kityuisa felt the voice in her head tell her to go through all four doors to conquer her inner demons.

Kityuisa gripped the edge of her chair and stood to her feet, it was the moment she had been waiting for. Taking a step forward, she started with the last door. Opening it, she was faced with a pool of water. Five stones set out before her. The first four being small. The fifth being one large stone. Kityuisa stepped gently on the stones until she was on the fifth, large stone. Her fingers clenching into fists, awaiting what would occur. A weird shape appeared in the center of the stone. It's body seeming to be made of water and stone, crumbling and mixing together into the shape that Kityuisa recognized as herself. Blood dripped from where it's eyes would have been. Kityuisa covered her mouth, was this her first inner demon? What did it represent..? Kityuisa drew her dagger. Either way, she had to fight her way to the top. Her body angling towards the demon she charged.

Kityuisa gripped her dagger, her body lunged forward. She slashed at the beast, her eyes narrowing. Her dagger piercing it's weird mixture of a body. Due to the weird looks of the body, Kityuisa had not expected it to have any sort of defense. The water seemed easy to protrude through, the rocks barely anything at all. Kityuisa's damage indicator showed a little less than what she usually dealt. She knew that this demon had mitigation at that moment. Kityuisa had dealt the damage, her mind beginning to throb. The demon tried to strike back, but Kityuisa dodged at the last second, perfectly in tune. Kityuisa's inner demons seemed weird.. Weirder than what she was used to fighting. But this was Sword Art Online, it was apparently well known for being weird. Kityuisa wanted to fight and beat her inner demons, even if it hurt her head every time that she attacked. Readying herself once more, she ran for her demon her dagger shining with the use of a sword skill.

Kityuisa activated her sword skill and went for her demon but right when she was about to hit it, her head began to spin. She fell to the floor and curled her hand around her head. She had a fistful of hair and Kityuisa began to moan and groan. It hurt... a lot. The demon seemed to be in pain too... The only reasoning Kityuisa had for this feeling was that she didn't want to fight her inner demons. She wanted to stay the way she was. Kityuisa looked at her inner demon, wanting to come to an understanding, "I really don't want to beat you or the other inner demons I have.. I want to keep you by my side. I enjoy the company.." The inner demon seemed to feel the same, but the waterfall had an effect that Kityuisa was unaware of. The inner demon screeched. It's agreement seemed to be null and void as it's eyes turned hungrily on Kityuisa. It swung its watery- earthy paw at her but Kityuisa leaped backwards. Now back on her feet she attempted to use a sword skill again.

Kityuisa charged her dagger, and began to move with swift movements. She was prepared for the headache this time, and ignored it. Her body flashing across the side of the demon. Her dagger piercing and slashing the side of the demon not once, but twice. Kityuisa was now behind the demon. Looking at the damage she had dealt. The chunk of HP she had drained seemed to build her courage up. The demon still wasn't ready for it's own hurt and pain. Instead of attacking it doubled over in pain. Kityuisa moved swiftly forward until she stood over the creature. What did his form mean? What part of Kityuisa did this demon represent? Kityuisa was unsure. The blood staining the eyes. Kityuisa cocked her head to the side. Trying to figure it out on her own. Little did she know that the demon would reveal it to her on the ending blow before it would burst into pixels.

Kityuisa gripped her dagger even harder. She had to beat this thing. She lunged at the demon. Her dagger shining as she landed her target. The demon had become infuriated and had detached one of the stones in its body. It hurled it at Kityuisa and landed against her back. Kityuisa would be stumbling forward but her mind would have flashed somewhere else. Her home town in Japan. Her little sister playing with her. They were playing with dolls when her sister was only five years old. Kityuisa and her had been by the river that day. The weather was only partly cloudy. But what Kityuisa had not expected was the rampant dog that had gone and attacked her little sister. Right then and there, Kityuisa had launched her body at the dog, wrapping her arms around the thing's neck. She had held on until the dog had stopped kicking. Kityuisa had killed the dog..

The dog had been laying limp, and Kityuisa's sister had began to cry. Kityuisa had instantly gone to her sisters side and murmured in her ear that everything was okay and that she was safe now. The dog couldn't hurt her anymore because Kityuisa had taken care of it. That made her little sister cry even more asking why she had killed the dog that had attacked her. This was the first moment that Kityuisa's eyes had began to take on their murderous tint. Her voice was steady. I killed it to protect you and keep you okay. The dog was hurting you, so I hurt it back. Her sister had been scared and stopped crying. Kityuisa's mind brought her back to the present. She was turned against the inner demon right at the moment that the inner demon launched a water spike at her. Kityuisa rolled out of the way, she had been too lost in her thoughts to attack the demon so it had tried to attack her.

Kityuisa gripped her dagger and lunged her way towards the inner demon, her voice shouting. You interrupted an important memory of mine! Her eyes glinting as she lunged to attack the demon. He seemed to give her the expression back, as if he was upset that she had done all of that to her sister. The demon easily dodged out of the way and cracked its now rock solid arm across her back. Kityuisa was thrown to the ground and got a mouth full of rock. She stumbled back up to her feet and faced her demon. Fight me like a real man! The demon winked at Kityuisa and she was shocked. The demon had a sense of humor! Kityuisa gripped her dagger even tighter. She had to win this fight. Without a single moment hesitation, not even caring that at this point her mind was throbbing, Kityuisa went in for another attack.

Kityuisa didn't pay any attention to her dagger as she lunged forward. Her special blade slicing right through the body of the demon, her body following, pushing her way through the water that made up the body of the demon. She finally managed to come through to the other side and the demon's body melted to the floor. Kityuisa had dealt a lot of damage to her demon, not as much as her sword skill had enabled her, but still quite a lot of damage. Kityuisa looked down at her trusty dagger, she really did appreciate it. The gift had been one of the only nice things that anyone had ever done for her. The demon had lost its opportunity of attack as Kityuisa was now brought back into the present. The demon lay on the floor still, trying to reassemble itself. Without wanting to spare another moment, Kityuisa activated her sword skill and launched herself at her target.

Kityuisa's sword skill shone as she lunged forward, her attack cutting straight through the demon. It's health bar dropped all the way and it disappeared into thousands of tiny colorful pixels. Kityuisa saw the presence of the figure she had seen pointing, it spoke to her in a raspy, yet totally understandable voice. "This was your first demon. It represented how you are. You are smooth flowing like the river water that you and your sister played in on the day you killed that dog. Yet you are as stubborn and unmoving and fierce as a rock. You will do what you think is right and you won't budge. The bloody eyes represent the fact that you are willing to kill if it means protecting and keeping charge of the ones that you love the most. Kityuisa, you have defeated your first demon. It represented your innocence changing into impurity." Kityuisa felt a shudder go through her spine.

Kityuisa watched as the wry finger of her shadow like being pointed towards the exit that had just opened back up. Kityuisa looked at her surroundings, she didn't feel any different... At least not in a good way. Her headache was intense and she felt as if she had lost a very important part of her. Kityuisa had no control of her movements as her mind moved her forward. Once again, Kityuisa sat in the chair. The last door in the chain was now covered in literal chains. They were rusty and old looking. The remaining three doors stood to the left of the door she had gone into first. She had to make a choice. Kityuisa didn't want to fight any more of her demons.. She could easily just leave... But, Kityuisa also wanted to see it through to the end. Perhaps it was all just a prank that some disgusting human being was pulling on people...

She wondered what the stats of this one would be... Kityuisa frowned slightly. She didn't want to relive memories just to move on from them. She didn't want to fight something to rid it from her body. Everything that she had done made her to who she was right there. Kityuisa let out a small sigh, she had to do it. If she just quit now, she might never have a chance to revive her fallen demon. Kityuisa looked at the three doors, trying to see which one felt more enticing. Kityuisa saw the second on in on the left and stood to her feet. She would choose that one. Kityuisa willed herself to move forward, despite how hesitant she felt.

The room before her now appeared to be a misty forest. Kityuisa cocked her head to the side, the room made no sense. Kityuisa hated the mist.. With no inner demon in sight, Kityuisa had one choice. She would have to delve deeper into the forest to find it. Her heart began to beat fast as she walked deeper and deeper. Fear piercing her soul as she continued. It began to grow pitch dark and pretty soon Kityuisa couldn't see anything even if it lay in front of her face. Kityuisa was concerned for how this battle would play out. But then, out of nowhere, a giggle sounded. Small lights began to appear out of every angle of the forest. Small fairies? Kityuisa kept turning in circles in sudden movements trying to catch a glimpse. Her fear becoming thicker and thicker with each movement and each giggle that sounded. Kityuisa would have peed herself if she weren't in her own mind right now...

Kityuisa was very very scared now, the giggling sounding right behind her ear, but when she turned she saw nothing. All at once a loud rumble appeared, and Kityuisa turned around. A very large monster had appeared. Kityuisa's second inner demon.. It was made of light but it had ivy trails wrapped around made of shadows. The shadows cut off all access light with only a few beams showing. Kityuisa heard a drip, and looked up. A small drop of liquid was cascading towards her. Kityuisa tried to jump out of the way, but giggles now sounded all around her. They carried the drip that had fallen and tossed it at Kityuisa's eyes. When she blinked and opened her eyes back up, the room had a moon high in the sky. Kityuisa could see well enough to have no penalty to her accuracy now. Kityuisa looked at her second demon. It had malice in its eyes. Without another second of hesitation, despite the fear that drenched her soul, Kityuisa lunged at the demon.

Kityuisa drove her dagger forward, piercing the shadowy entrails that wrapped the demon. Kityuisa's dagger seemed to go right through, but the damage indicator said otherwise. Kityuisa turned just in time to see the demon try and attack her back. She hopped out of the way right in time. Glancing at the demon, Kityuisa readied herself. However, the giggles sounded again, and they began to sing a song. Kityuisa whimpered and backed up. She was not ready for what was coming... Kityuisa looked around trying to pinpoint the sound of the fairies but to no avail. The shadow monster grinned evilly at Kityuisa. She had no idea how her second demon could even see her, it had no eyes. The only thing visible on its face was its wicked smile that it now showed to her as if it were set out to defeat her. Kityuisa felt chills roll up her arms and down her spine as the giggles once again sounded directly behind her.

Kityuisa turned around, her mind away from her demon as the fairies scared her even more. Nothing could be seen from behind her, but Kityuisa heard a small voice in her mind sound. She had to just attack her demon and get out of this creepy place as fast as possible. Kityuisa turned back around. Her eyes trailed on the big guy. Her sharp dagger blade glinting in the moonlight. She dashed forward and struck her dagger through the mist, this time her had hardened himself and wrapped Kityuisa up inside of him. She fought her way out but to no avail. Her entire body began to undergo the feeling of being crushed. Kityuisa cried out for help and with no reply Kityuisa felt her entire body begin to grow limp. She hated this, she hated meditation, she hated this demon, she hated this room. She wanted to go home. She wanted to go home and hold her sister once again..

The giggling sounded in Kityuisa's ear once again. She really did hate this place. An intense hatred filled Kityuisa up, her body acting of its own accord. Her body crumbling even lower and lower into a ball. She flashed her dagger and charged it up, her blade twirling in a strange motion and slicing her way out of the demon's belly she escaped. The demon stumbled. It had clearly not expected her to escape. Kityuisa began to pant, she had worked hard but it seemed to have paid off. The demon was very low on health at this point. Kityuisa had a chance to beat this demon as well. Kityuisa was curious as to why her demons kept trying to hurt her when all she wanted was to keep them alive. Kityuisa didn't want to loose a part of herself, she didn't even want to lose the voices that she heard in her mind. She had after all, grown quite attached to them.
