Alec remained encapsulated within the liquid like form holding his breath and fighting for survival and freedom. Alec reached out to the games internal energy source to activate another Sword Art. Usually the large heavily muscled Tank fought his fights as those of attrition wearing his opponent down till they had nothing left but Alec was afraid that tactic would not work here so he fought to defeat his opponent as fast as possible but as he reached to the energy source it shied away and refused to heed his call. As Alec struggled and flailed his mouth opened slightly again and the liquid took advantage of the situation and forced itself back into Alec's mouth and down his throat gapping and choking him. His Battle Healing thankfully kicked in and healed what little damage he had sustained as he continued to resist against the giant blob encasing him and trying to drown him.

Alec continued to struggle within the nebulous blob that encased him and was trying to drown him. The large man reached out and once more tried to grasp the games internal energy source to once more power a Sword Art but once more the energy refused to respond to him again. The energy shied away from him as he reached out trying to grasp it again. As he struggled to grasp the energy he needed to enact and power a Sword Art the humongous blob surrounding him continued to find any chance it could to force itself inside of his mouth and down his throat in a continuous attempt to drown and suffocate him. Alec flexed his muscles and strained against the liquid form surrounding him as he gritted his teeth together and fought to keep his lips pressed together and sealed tightly closed. This fight was dragging on too long and Alec needed to end it before he died no matter what happened.

Alec continued his struggle for his life trapped within the gigantic blob of liquid that was trying to drown him. Alec reached out to the games internal energy source to power his weapon with another Sword Art. As Alec reached out and touched the energy it flooded through him and into his weapon causing it to vibrate and glow as the energy swelled. As the energy reached its peak lightning began to arc and dance from the crescent shaped battle axe heads secured to his forearm. When the Sword Art was ready Alec swung his Forearm Axe  around expelling the lightning as his blade cut through the liquid causing it to shrink slightly. As Alec celebrated his victory the liquid once again forced itself into Alec's mouth and throat choking and gagging him as his Battle Healing repaired what little damage was done to him.

Alec continued his slow drawn out fight for his freedom. He was wearing down the liquid blob encasing him but it was taking longer than he'd hoped and he worried he'd suffocate before he finally beat this latest threat. As Alec struggled his considerable muscles to break free he again reached out and drew upon the games internal energy source activating a Sword Art and causing his Forearm Axe to begin glowing and vibrating as the energy but within it. When the energy had peaked small arcs of lightning danced across the crescent shaped battle axe heads strapped to his forearm. As Alec swung his Forearm Axe Axe it easily cut through the liquid causing it to quiver and shake as it shrunk and diminished in size as the lightning jumped from Alec's axe to the liquid blob. The blob at least temporarily seemed to have relented on its efforts to force itself into Alec's mouth and down his throat. Which was a plus in Alec's opinion.

Alec was wearing down the blob encasing him he could feel it. The liquid mass was barely larger than he was now. It was more an oversized body suit clinging to him than than the huge mass it had started as. A couple more good hits and this thing was done for and Alec was free of it's salty were embrace. Alec reached out once more for the games internal energy source and felt the energy course through him and into his weapon. His Forearm Axe  began to glow and vibrate as the the energy built within it. When the energy had reached its maximum capacity lighting began to arc from and dance along the axes crescent shaped heads. Alec swung out with his axe slicing through the liquid mass again as lightning coursed and jumped from his axe heads to the mass encasing the large oversized man. The mass renewed it's efforts to force itself into Alec's mouth but he easily kept his teeth and lips sealed baring the mass any gap to penetrate his mouth. One more solid hit the man thought to himself as a struggled and fought to keep a clear head and a calm mind. Almost there.

Alec watched as the liquid blob surrounding him continued to shrink the more he hit it. It was nearly gone now one more good slid hit and he was free and that's what he needed at this moment his freedom. Alec focused all his calm and control and reached out like Luke in the Wampa cave for his lightsaber. As Alec stretched out for the games internal energy source he felt it respond and jump to his calling coursing through his body and into his Forearm Axe. The energy caused the large crescent shaped axe heads to begin glowing and vibrating. As the energy but lightning began to arc from the heads and dance along their surface. When the energy had reached its peak Alec swung his massive arm around in a wide arc slicing into and clean through the liquid mass causing it to exploded into a wave of blue pixels with a sploosh as they washed away like a wave of water leaving the large man standing heaving in the center of the Inn's common room.

Alec stood heaving and gasping for breath his expansive chest swelling and contracting as he gulped in huge lung fulls of clean fresh air. He was like a man breathing for the first time. As he looked around himself all the dead bodies of his friends were gone. He stood alone in the center of the common room as turned slowly surveying his surroundings. From the distance Alec heard a soft sing song voice that drifted to him as a whisper on the wind. "As long as you try, you could never fail us." A soft gentle smile cracked the corner of his perpetual scowl and his stern features softened as its meaning sank into him and his being. Yes people had died and more might die as well but as long as he tried his hardest and protected those he cared about with every ounce of himself he would never fail. His conviction and his resolve were his legacy. The smile spread across the large man's face as his breathing slowed and became easier. He had friends here. Friends who needed his help and protection but he also needed their help and protection as well. Alec glanced around again and spotted the thick highly polished wooden door and slowly walked over to it. One more door he thought as he grasped the knob on the door and twisted it pulling the door open.

Beyond the doorway lay the expected wall of pure darkness. Without a second thought or a pause Alec stepped through and found himself standing again amid the big empty. He glanced around him and noted the four doors still standing. Alec spotted that three of the four doors were now free and clear if any markings or engravings. Alec reached out and let his large fingers gently caress the wood of the last door. Feeling the smooth polish as his fingers slid down the doors surface a slight smile softened his scowl at the thought of his friends and acquaintances here within the virtual prison that was Aincrad and the video game Sword Art Online. Alec took one more deep breath as he turned to face the remaining door. The door bore the engraving of a hideous demonic visage contorted in a snarl of pure rage. The image forced another shudder along the large man's spine as he took a breath and tried to prepare for whatever was about to happen.

As Alec reached his hand out to grasp the door knob of the door he felt an intense heat coming from the door, as if a fire burned unchecked behind this door. A fire that threatened to overwhelm him if he do much as opened the door. Alec steeled his nerves and his resolve with a few deep calming breaths as he reached out and grasped the door knob and turned it pulling the door open to reveal the expected blackness beyond, but this time there was a nearly overwhelming hear that accompanied it. Alec took another deep breath and stepped into the darkness beyond. Alec stepped into the blackness and once more disappeared completely. As reality returned to him Alec felt heat as he suddenly gritted his teeth as a wave of anger rolled over him. Why was he stuck in this stupid place?!? Why did he felling like a hamster in a wheel doing the same thing over and over again?!?

RRRAAAAWWWRRRGGGG!!!!! THIS WAS SO FREAKING STUPID!! WHEREVER HE WAS STUCK AT THIS FREAKING TIME WAS NOTHING MORE THAN THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!! IT WAS ALL SO FREAKING POINTLESS!!!! The thoughts and feelings flashed through Alec's mind almost faster than he could register them as another wave of anger, frustration and pure rage roiled over and through the large man as he began seething. Alec gritted his teeth together to keep in the pent up roar of anger he was felling bubbling up from within. THIS STUPID GAME!!! THIS STUPID PLACE!!! THESE STUPID PEOPLE!!!! WHY WERE THEY SO FREAKING DUMB?!?! SO UP ON THEMSELVES!!!! DIDN'T THEY REALIZE THIS WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A STUPID FREAKING VIDEO GAME?!?! The large man heaved giant breaths if air through his gritted teeth as Alec could contain the feelings no longer he threw his massively muscled arms out wide and titled his head to sky and let out a visceral primal roar of anger and rage like none had seen or heard before.

Alec cast his eyes about for any target he could find to vent and unleash his rage upon. There!! Alec's eye caught sight of a red and black form easily his size that pulsed and flickered. But Alec had learned one thing here in this stupid game, and that was size only mattered in that they bigger his opponent was the big the explosion they made when he destroyed them. And destroy this target he would he thought to himself as he stalked toward it. His shoulders rolled forward and his eyes locked on his target. Alec's perpetual scowl was gone. Now his teeth were clenched together in a snarl of pure animalistic rage as he began trotting towards his target. Soon the trot became a run which quickly turned into a Sprint as Alec barreled towards the huge red and black form that pulsed as if with the inner heat of a fire.

Alec barreled forward like an out of control freight train. As he neared the red and black pulsing and flickering humanoid shape Alec kept into the air and tried to use the games internal energy to enact a Sword Art but in his rage the energy refused to respond to him. Alec let out another bellow of wordless mindless anger and rage at his situation. "YES!!!!" The gigantic form said as it began to swell. "YYEESSSS! Give in to your hate and anger, let it fuel your actions. You become strong and powerful with your hate!" The form boomed as it continued to swell on size. The giant humanoid shape swung a giant fist at Alec slamming into his body where his heavy armor absorbed the blow leaving only a minor bruise which his Battle Healing cured instantly while Alec swung his shield up slicing into the giant humanoid form cutting its torso deeply.

Alec seethed and heaved as waves of anger and hate washed over him. He hated everyone and everything thing here. He hated that he kept missing this humongous stupid thing standing before him. "RRRAAAAWWWRRRGGGG!!!!!" The large man roared out wordlessly as he swung and flailed his Forearm Axe wildly and without any aim or precision using brute force and pure rage to fuel his attacks as he continued to miss which only infuriated him further. The huge pulsing flickering creature swung it's massive fist out connecting with Alec's heavy armor which absorbed the blow while his Battle Healing washed away any trace of damage from the large man had received from the attack. Alec stood continuing the seethe in anger and rage his shoulders rolled forward like some sort of cave man his massive chest swelling and shrinking as he gulped in huge lung fulls of air and glared balefully at the oversized red and black form that flickered and pulsed as if an inner fire raged within it's form.

"Stop Alec." The voice came from no where but Alec knew it instantly. It was his wife, his beloved it was his Gwen. "What are doing?" The voice was both concerned and perplexed. Alec stopped but the rage continued to pound his pulse and race his heartbeat. Gwen had always been the only one to be able to calm him down. Like that time he had nearly killed that other boy in high school. He had the other boy on the ground and even though he'd gone limp Alec hadn't let up, couldn't let up not till it was done. Then Gwen had shown up. She'd walked right up to him and placed a gentle hand on his back and said those same two words and he had, finally coming out of the uncontrolled rage he had been in. Since that day he had never felt that rage again. Alec was lost in his own mind as the rage beast attacked him but he merely shifted his shield and blocked the attack completely.

Gwen always made him feel calm and at peace with himself and everyone around him. Since he'd been here he had lost that part of himself. He knew it but he hadn't thought about what that meant for him that his rage might return to reek havoc on everyone and everything around him. The anger and rage began to wash away from himself leaving him feeling empty as it vacated him. He felt the heat pulsing off the beast trying to take he again but rolled over and passed him but touched him not. A lone tear slipped down his cheek as he began to speak in his deep baritone rumble. "I'm sorry Gwen. I'm sorry baby. I'm so lost here without you. I don't know what to do. Please beautiful!! Just tell me what to do?" The large man prayed as another fist rocketed in at him but again as if by reflex he adjusted his shield and blocked the fist away from himself as he reached out to his wife.

"Please Gwen just tell me what I should do?" The large man prayed, reaching out to his wife or the thought of her in any case. "I'm lost without you! I don't know if I can do it." Alec prayed silently. "I'm not string enough!" The large man continued. Then he heard something that stopped him dead in his tracks.

"Don't be a idiot!" What?!? Thought Alec. Wow she must really be pissed at me, she hardly ever calls me an idiot, only when I've screwed up royally bad he thought to himself. But then again glanced around himself and embarrassment took over as the predominant emotion filling him. He had. He had screwed up royally, just look at what was going on. Alec stood so stunned that he never even registered the gigantic fist headed straight towards him as his arms lay slack it his sides. The fist rocketed forward and smashed him in the chest but Alec's heavy armor absorbed the damage leaving only a mild bruise which his Battle Healing healed instantly.

"I'm sorry Gwen!! I'm sorry I was a complete and total idiot!! Just please baby just tell me what I should do?" The large man pleaded to the air.

"Fight you big idiot." The thought rocketed through his mind and body stunning him completely. Of course he should fight. How else would he make it home? He thought to himself. Wasn't that what he'd been doing? He asked himself and Gwen.

A sigh rolled across and through him, one if exasperation but also of love. "I love you my big dumb idiot." The thought flowed over and through him bolstering his being. "Fight. But do it smart. Use your head don't let your emotions get the better of you." Alec nodded understanding what she meant he could still give it his all he just had to keep his head on straight and clear while he was doing it. Alec nodded in understanding of his wife's words. The large man had spent so much time conversing he totally missed his chance to swing at the giant form of Anger. But as the giant form reared back and sent a massive fist rocketing towards him Alec lifted his shield and knocked the fist aside as his purpose came to him and he understood his wife's instructions to him.

Alec set his focus on his target the giant red and black pulsating creature of Anger and Rage standing before Alec. The large man raised his shield up before himself to defend against the much larger opponent he was facing. As his arm with his Forearm Axe held loosely by his side as he waited for an opening to strike. The creature fought mindlessly and with no tactics merely sheer raw brute force. Alec sized up his opponent and waited for his chance to strike. As the huge being moved forward Alec swung out with the battle axe attached to his forearm and missed as the huge creature shifted at the last second as Alec's axe head split only empty air. The creature shifted again and delivered a massive punch to Alec's chest which his heavy armor deflected and absorbed most if the damage as his Battle Healing eased away the bruise the last attack left behind as Alec readied himself for the next round.

Alec steadied his breathing and worked on calming his mind as the rage had departed him he had an empty where it had been. He needed to find something to fill the void. Alec thought and thought as he did his best to maintain his composure in the face of his opponent the incarnation of Anger. Alec tried to empower his Forearm Axe with a Sword Art but as his mind was jumbled and his focus shot the game refused his request causing him to miss his attack at the titanic red and black monstrosity before him. The gigantic creature reared back and rocketed a monstrous fist toward him which slammed straight into Alec's chest. Thankfully Alec's heavy armor absorbed all but a tiny bit of the creatures damage and that was washed away as Alec's Battle Healing kicked in again and healed to one tick of health he was down restoring the large man to full hit points again.

Alec continued trying to find something to fill the void his anger had left once if had fled him. Alec continued breathing trying to find something worthwhile to fill the void with but his mind and body were blank having been put through the ringer but this ordeal. The large man continued his breathing as he tried and failed. Alec tried again to activate a Sword Art but again the game refused to respond. Maybe that's the trick Alec thought to himself. Maybe he wasn't supposed to beat down this enemy. After all how do but anger with anything other than calmness. That's when the giant beast of rage and anger swung it's massive fist again. Alec allowed the hit to strike him trusting in his heavy armor to take the brunt of the attack. As the fist made contact with Alec he shifted his body to take the hit on his shoulder armor letting his armor do its job as it absorbed most of the damage causing his Battle Healing to kick in and healing the damage not absorbed as he swung his shield up slicing deeply into the creatures arm cutting it deeply and causing red and black pixels to escape from the wound.
