Bahr laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his head, sheathing his sword against the small of his back with the other. "Haha, thanks, but you're really the star here. It took me forever to get a good hit against the thing, and you were just sitting there tanking hit after hit! If it had been me it was focusing, I'd have been a goner in no time."

"Seems we really are two sides of the same coin. The unstoppable force and the immovable object. How would a duel between the two of us play out, I wonder? I feel like I would end up smacking myself to death on your shield alone!"

He let out a hearty laugh at the last bit. It was said in a joking manner, but definitely true. The man's defenses were way too strong for Bahr to even think about doing anything about, it would be hopeless to even try. "Guess it's a good thing you're on my side, right?"

The larger man smiled at his friend. "It's not really a special skill being able to stand still and get hit. It's mostly being able to keep getting hit is the trick." The large man offered with a smile and a wink. "But you sure do deal out some mean damage there Sir. Quite impressive! And completely agree about us being cut from different halves of the same mold. We make a good fit and great pair!" Alec said with all sincerity. "A duel between us would be interesting." The large man stated as he pondered the scenario. "I guess it would depend if you could overcome my damage threshold or Crit on me. Thorns does absolutely nothing if the person hits you with a perfect hit. So there's your goal my friend." The large man offered jokingly. "But as long as it were done properly I'd duel you for the sheer fun of it." The large man stated just name the time and place and stipulations and I'll be there." The heavily muscled man stated with a gleam in his eyes. "And it's a good thing we're on each other's sides." Alec corrected as stopped dead in his tracks and called Bahr over. "Hey check this out!! There's a fake wall here!" The large man exclaimed excitedly as he pressed one of the stones piping open a section of the wall to reveal a hidden chamber with a Treasure Chest sitting inside.

Bahr's eyes lit up as he gazed upon the treasure chest. "Dude, nice find!" Bahr exclaimed as he rushed over to his companion's side, giving him a fist bump. Bahr moved forward to open it, but stopped himself, a sour expression crawling across his face. "I think you should open it," he admitted, turning to the larger muscled man. "I've got rotten luck with these things." It was true - Bahr had never gotten anything more than minuscule amounts of col and extremely basic items. In fact, at this point he was hard pressed to believe that there was anything worthwhile in any of the chests that littered the entirety of Aincrad.

"Besides, you're the one who found it," he said, casting a grin to his buddy. "In an area like this, we shouldn't have to worry about getting a mimic. I'm guessing this one is legit. Why else would it be attached to a boss room like this?"

The larger man nodded to his friend. As he returned the fist bump. “All right pal you got.” Alec replied with a smile as he reached down grasping the heavy iron lock in his oversized fist as he squeezed the lock with a sharp twist and pull motion that caused the lock to explode harmlessly within his hand. As Alec opened his hand the pixels floated away like flower petals and disappeared into nothing. With a deep breath to clam himself and a short prayer in his head for some good treasure within the chest Alec reached out placing his hand atop the lid and lifted the solid worn wooden lid to reveal the contents to both men as they hunkered down in front of the box like a pair of children on Christmas Day eager to view their presents. Alec let out a long low whistle at the pile of Col within not to mention the stack of T2 Materials plus a pair of consumables and an unidentified Armor/Shield. “Not too bad of a haul my friend!” The large man exclaimed with a large grin that he flashed to his friend beside him. “Not too bad at all.”

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Bahr proclaimed loudly, clapping his palm against his companion's back as he gazed upon the stash. "You might just be luckier than Dagger!"

The pair laughed heartily before Bahr look out his ledger for their adventure together and jotted down the last of the loot, double checking his work before splitting everything up in what seemed to be the most fair way. When he was done, he presented the split list to Alec. "50/50 as promised." He nodded toward his partner and sent his half of their acquisition over, extending his hand for a proper handshake.

"We make a good team, you and I. There's a lot of tough quests coming up for me that I'm going to need help on. I hope I can count on your shield to get me through. You can rely on my blade whenever you need it." He turned his attention to a section of wall on the adjacent side of the chamber that slowly slid away, revealing a staircase leading upward. "Come on, partner. Let's get out of here."
