Man, how had Bahr gone so long without clearing such an easy quest from the third floor? The rewards were decent, and it wasn't like it was particularly hard. So why the delay? The answer eluded him.

Not like it mattered. Better late than never, after all. In this particular conflict, he had decided to side with the Treants. They were more 'his kind' of people. Hard working, unconcerned with vanity, and brutal in the execution of their combat style. Sure, the Elvish race had the leg up when it came to pure tactical knowhow, but there was a reason the Treants had managed to keep them at a stalemate as old as Aincrad itself. Bahr had found that, during his time in Aincrad, he had had the most success going in blindly and eviscerating everything in his path. It was refreshing to find a group of NPCs that followed the same ideals.

Gee, there were quite a lot of Elvish to wade through to get to the end, though. At least, according to the quest parameters. He was sure he could handle it himself, but there was something to be said about having company along for the ride. That being said, the whole reason he was out on the third floor all alone was because everyone else was preoccupied. So who could he even ask to go with him?

Gosh, it was boring on this floor. It was pretty and all but the only thing that could keep you from dying of absolute boredom was that forest of mist or whatever, but it wasn't like she was ever going to go in there because of the actual giant spiders there. Why would anyone be willing to go in a forest of giant spiders that could probably just snap her head off?

Beats her. People are weird.

Well, she should probably finish this floor's quests before she gets too high leveled for them, then she'd be even more bored.

We wouldn't want that, would we?

Cordelia stretched her arms as she walked through the forest. Something about. . . killing a couple elves? She didn't know.

She didn't even know why she sided with the treants in this one. Maybe it was because elves were too human like? Yeah. . . humans kind of sucked, huh?
