Swift walked over to the sign that noted the rules, and saw Miaki, had already been signed up. Seeing his written Level, she was worried of losing, but she was going to do this for experience, and a good time. She then signed her name up at one of the 15 remaining slots left on the list, signing off with her name and Level. Good Luck Miaki and everyone else to join. she says as she walks away from the list.

Daeron watched as some people looked at the list and walked away, however he saw a player sign up directly to the list themselves, and two of the players that have been added, were by Daeron, as they have contacted him. Suddenly, he was given a message from Keith Yudai, his friend, to sign him up as well. "Well then... looks like we're going to have one heck of a tournament then." he said as he wrote down Keith's name.

Miaki was off on another floor when Daeron messaged him with information about the tournament attached. Miaki read it over for a couple minutes and after seeing how the event was to be done and what the prize was he was all fired up for the tournament. He composed a reply to Daeron which read:

"Sounds like fun. My blade thirsts for something else to cut through. Go ahead and add me to the roster. I'm in! See you on the battlements."

Daeron continued to get more PM's and continued writing names on the roster. Sometimes someone would sign up and then shortly after they would message him letting him know that they revoke their entrance to the tournament. "Remember everyone, there is no admission fee, so it's completely free to earn a chance to win a item." Daeron says as he updates the list to the current standards of how many people have joined.

A Rule Change Has Been Set:

Every Fighter Will Be Set with 10 HP in the arena regardless of their level, this allows lower leveled players to join and not have to worry too much about their gear and what their dph is. This way everyone has just about a fair opportunity to join in on the fun.

Daeron watched as suddenly a flock of new players surrounded the Tournament Sign Ups. It seemed to Daeron that after the rule change was made, players joined. As it appeared, the previous rule must have been too unfair for players so they were unwilling to join so they don't get demolished, unlike now they have an equal opportunity. "Let's go guys! Only 7 More slots!" he says as he clapped his hands together.

Daeron finally cleared his throat when he saw the list had been filled finally. He read out the players names to come forth and stand in front of him preparing for the first match up to be made.

"Now before we start I have an announcement to be made. As a player made tournament we had to come into touch with our old friend, Heathcliff, to help us make it equal and fair for everyone. Luckily enough, he was willing to create an Event Item for every player here, that when this ring is equipped their HP is lowered or raised to 20 HP. Because we are doing a half loss mode fight, we are only keeping track of the 10 health, anything else is ignored. So when you hit 0, you didn't actually lose." he said as he began to clear his throat again. "Alright then... now let's get to business. The first match up is..." Daeron says as he draws two names from the magical hat, that had no magic ability what so ever. "Ruri and Saix!" he says as the two players step forth.

Daeron gave both of the two players their rings and made everyone surrounding them back up. "Alright, remember, you may not use sword abilities, or end in disqualification. You may only use up to a maximum of 1 enchanted item varying from uncommon to perfect. The first player to hit 0 HP (10/20 HP) will be eliminated from the tournament. Good Luck!"

The First Turn Will Go To The Person with the highest combat dice roll.

The man in red, Crimson Lightning as some called him, douchebag as others called him, chuckled to himself from where he reclined with his back to the stone well. With his legs splayed out before him in an undignified sprawl he appeared without a care in the world, only the steel of his gaze as he played with the blood red one handed sword gave away his focus. He looked like a hungry wolf; edgy and ready to move. Standing gracefully he popped his neck to one side out of habit. On some level he knew it wasn't real, just a virtual simulation, so he wasn't actually loosening his muscles; but it just felt right, a force of habit. Taking a moment to check his inventory, he verified that aside from the Crimson Blade which had no enhancements, the only enhanced gear he was wearing was the flashy leather coat that served as his armor. Saix was a rather straight forward player, and his gear reflected that sentiment. Hit hard, hit accurately, and don't get hit; that was the 'build' he had settled on. For the purpose of this tournament he had decided that defense was the best offense, and would use Flame Tyrant's Raiment to outlast his opponents. Well, in theory anyway. "Let's do this." He said, spinning the sword through a quick circuit of loops with a charming grin.

She takes the ring heading into the tournament ring she knew she would probably eliminated she stood there sword drawn she narrowed her eyes in ready to see if he would attack. then she looked around the seats in the arena seeing Dirgun. SHe felt safer now... As she looked back to 'Saix' She then attacked subtracting one HP from Saix... she then ran back to her spot, going a bit to the right.... preparing for his next attack.

Saix didn't even move, he just stood there and let her attack. Even the evasive properties of his armor wouldn't assist if he didn't even 'try' to dodge, and a moment later a red scar marred his pixilated form as her strike landed. Hmmm, decent speed, decent power... This might be fun after all." He murmured to himself, before his grin returned. "Now that I have a feel for you, it's for real, you won't be getting another free shot." He said, before he made an attack of his own, wheeling the sword into a quick overhand strike.

Enjoying the high speed combat and feeling the simulated rush, Saix felt nothing. He had fought in this world long enough to know that their was no 'real' pain, just the alien discomfort of taking the hit. The system itself had nothing to simulate pain, so the brain created the phantom pain itself. But Saix had conquered that reflex, and when her strike landed it didn't even slow his own counter attack, as he twisted and brought the bloody red bladed sword up and around in a second over hand strike that this time hit nothing but air.

Again he made his counter attack without distraction, having long since become accustomed to the strange sensation of being hit. He was predominantly a solo player and would never have lasted long if he had not learned to ignore the sensation his brain tried to interpret as pain every time a blow landed. His sword moved up and out, flicking out in a quick thrust aimed at her midsection. Normally he would have given the sword a little twist, but instead he retracted the blade immediately to prepare for the inevitable counter attack.

She felt it as she attacked at her opponent again, trying to do lots of damage to him. She aimed toward his left arm, hoping that could have something to do with his attack damage...

He was starting to find his flow now, and it showed as he evaded her attack with a quick twist while dropping low, never pausing even as he spin into a quick horizontal slash across her thighs. Speed speed speed. He may not have had his preferred sword or bracer to boost his stats, but that didn't change the game plan. Focus on the opponent, then run them into the ground.

Battledice: 9 = Critical

Damage: 2

Ruri Hp = [5/10]

There were no more smiles or comments now, he was fully in the zone. When she struck with the sword he swayed, lettting the blade pass within inches of his body before countering with a quick underhand slash that brought the sword straight up as though he were trying to open her from navel to skull in one quick movement... Showing that he was getting caught up in the battle because he missed big. Dammit He thought, with annoyance. Stay focused.

Battledice: 1 = Epic Fail

Damage: 0

Ruri Hp = [5/10]

Saix Hp = [7/10]
