Nora 0 Posted November 1, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2019 (edited) The Nora's Opera House This is a neat looking little shop located just off the main road in the Town of the beginning. It always has some kind of mellow song playing around it to attract customers. Sometimes the song is classic musical, but most often then not, it is a mystery girl's voice singing something soft and warm with just a hint of sadness in its melody. The shop is decorated in a modern minimalist style, with open concept, high ceiling, open air circulation. It gives out a feeling of freedom. Sometimes, the customer could see a little cat running around here. When the shop owner isn't here, the cat acts as the shop keeper. The young shopkeeper welcomes everyone in warmly. "Good day, how can I help you today?" Nora 0 Posted November 1, 2019 Author #2 Share Posted November 1, 2019 (edited) DAY 1 Nora closes her eyes and putting her feeling and her emotions into her voice as she begins her song. She wanted a familiar, a little friend who can always be by her side through rain and snow, through battle and through peaceful times. It is all that someone like her could have wanted. At that thoughts, her song came through soft but clear, the voice of the song came through. It actually sounded a lot better than what she has sing at any previous attempts. It was a lonely little song filled with hope, sadness and more hope. When she opens her eyes again and looks out the window, she noticed that the recording crystal has lighten up, signalling a successful attempt. Nora 0 Posted November 2, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted November 2, 2019 (edited) November 2, 2019 It was the next day when Nora gets to the shop. Opening the store again and letting the light gets in. The weather is perfect for singing and improving her own skills. She practiced a few notes before starting the recording crystal and lets it run in the back ground. She clears her throat and blinks, immediately stopped the recording, erased everything and tried again. This time, her voice came through loud and clear. A powerful song about flames and ashes, she started the recording. Somewhat pleased with herself. Now that she is ahead of the game, she tries again. But quickly tired out, the second attempt was a fail. 127876 results: CD 12; LD 10 <<Perfect Song>> ► Incarceration Cost: 3 Slots Cap: 1 Slot Effect: When played, one enemy suffers double damage from damage over time effects (Bleed/Poison/Burn, etc). Nora 0 Posted November 3, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted November 3, 2019 (edited) November 3, 2019 It is a brand new day again and time to sing again! Nora opens the window blind in order to let sunlight into the room. She was feeling pretty confidence today and she actually wants to sing for once. Setting up her recording crystal by the window, she pratices a few notes before starting. Stretching her arms, it might not really help with vocals but it helps her relax. She started to sing, twice in a roll without interruption, the first song turns out alright but the second one was a fail. No matter, one is enough. Nora 0 Posted November 5, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted November 5, 2019 (edited) November 4, 2019 It was really late and Nora was getting pretty lazy, but she still needs to practice her songs, otherwise she will never get better at it. Besides, if she just keeps at it, eventually she will find uses for them. She thought about it long and hard, about what kind of songs would be useful for people. Eventually she decided to try healing songs. Those will always help. Against the silver moon light, she opens her window and started her recording crystal. It is not an uncommon song at all, she heard about it on the street and was really just trying to copy it. But it looks like her emotion did not seep through the song, the first is a barely pass and the next three attempts ended up in failure. She stops for the day. Nora 0 Posted November 6, 2019 Author #6 Share Posted November 6, 2019 (edited) November 5, 2019 It is time to try again! Just because the day before was a bust does not mean that she won't find success today. She needs to keep trying and stock up her store. She was still going after the healing song, after all, it sounded like something that most people might find helpful. This time she learned her lessons. If singing at the middle of the night doesn't work, maybe singing in the early morning will! She opens her window and let fresh air inside, clearing her throat and started the recording. She tries again, but this time, it was actually worst. Only one time was successful, she beginning to question her choice of songs...maybe she should try something else instead.
