On Floor One, in the Town of Beginnings, a myriad of NPCs and shops hawk their inventory at you. “I’ve got wares if you got coin!” they cry. But one shop in particular stands out to you. Tucked away in a quieter part of town lies a quaint building with a sign out front that reads, ‘The Ring and Sword’ and nothing else, barring the shop’s logo. Curious, you step inside the building and see a myriad of weapons lining the walls. Pushed up against those very same walls lie display cases, laden with daggers and jewelry. A counter sits near the back of the shop, with a door behind it and a shattered bamboo training sword hanging over it. Perhaps some relic of the owner's adventures. A dark haired man stands by the door. “Hey there!” he calls to you as you enter, “In need of weapons? Or maybe some armor? Well you’ve come to the right place. Welcome to the Ring and Sword!

Well, the shop was now open, and she needed to start to get things on the shelves to sell. But she also needed to level up the skill so that she can try and make better items. She wanted to be able to make jewelry, but right now, she could only do trinkets. Grabbing a couple of materials, she sat down at her work station and started to slowly chip away at things. After a few hours of working on the first piece of materials, it disappeared. She failed that craft miserably, so much so that she lost the material. Well, that's a great start... Pushing that failure off to the side, she grabbed the next material and set to work on the next one. Another two hours went by, and soon enough, she had herself an uncommon item sitting in front of her.

It looked like a simple little ball, something that had a lid and dirt or something could be put inside of it. Mainly like a little keepsake. Either way, that was a good start to her new craft at least. That was enough for the day, so there was no need to fully worry.

After hearing about her friends opening a new shop nearby, she just can't wait to visit them and maybe even be the first customer there. In honestly, a combined shop is really convenient, one shop for all your item needs. Although it appears that she went there way too early, the shop was still in its preparation stage and no one was there. She still needs to run some errands so she left a note on the table for them. She found the request form on the wall, so she tears a page from her notebook and writes down her request according to the form, she left it with the note on the table as well.

Noticing a note from Nora for a few trinkets and some armor, she smiled lightly. She wrote down the part of the order that was for Koga and left it on his station while she went to work. Right now, she had two perfects and an uncommon to make. She kind of liked having the workload, it was going to keep her busy, that much was for sure. Sitting down at her workstation, she grabbed the materials for the day and started to get to work. A few hours passed, and from her crafting she was able to end the day with a perfect craft. This was the one that she wanted to give to Koga. He had been helping her a lot lately and well, he even made her a brand new rapier, he deserved something as well. The second was a rare craft. Sadly, not within Nora's parameters or her order, but she was going to try again tomorrow. For now, she ended the day perfectly in her eyes.

Welp, today was Koga's first day in the shop! Exciting stuff. The man went into the back room towards his forge and noticed a not on his anvil. It was from Noct, describing a custom order from Nora. Well, it looked like Koga was working on that today. Stocking the shop could come later. Alright, here goes nothing. A few hours of work later annnnd that was a bust..Koga swore as the materials disappeared into nothing, lost forever...Damn that sucks...Take two. Another few hours of work annnnd...another bust. Damn it. At least this time Koga didn't lose all his materials...Just served as a learning experience he supposed. Koga still wasn't sure what he was doing wrong though. He would definitely have to go over everything in his head again and try to figure it out. Hopefully tomorrow would go better. He couldn't have a shop with no stock now could he? That simply wouldn't do.

It was another new day. Time to get to work on making things. She knew that today she should be able to go up in rank for crafting, which meant that she was going to be able to do another craft besides just two today. That was a nice thought now wasn't it? So, grabbing her material that she knew she needed for the day, she set to work. Little clinking noises could be heard as she chipped away at the first piece that she had in her hands. But it didn't take long for it to just disappear in a cloud of fragments. Can't win them all. But she did notice that her Artisan bar said that she was rank two now, so that made her happy enough as she started on the second craft for the day. This failed as well, but she was at least able to salvage the material that she used. Using that, she went right into her third and final craft for the day, only for that to end up failing too, this time though, she didn't get to salvage the materials. There is always tomorrow.

Alright, day two of trying to be a blacksmith. Koga could only hope that it would go better than it did yesterday. Even if he managed to salvage one material, he hadn't been able to craft anything, a blow to both his pride and hopes of actually being able to craft anything else that was useful. Nora's order would have to go on hold for a while, at least until Koga reached the proper rank. the man had even informed her that he wouldn't be able to craft it yet, and she hadn't rescinded the order...so for now it was still standing.

Koga walked into the back of the shop, per usual, and grabbed some materials and the tongs. Into the fire you go. Once the materials reached a cherry white, he pulled them out and set to work trying to hammer them into shape...and it was another bust. Damn, Koga hadn't imagined it would be this difficult! Take two...into fire. Onto anvil. Hammer. a complete fail...What was Koga doing wrong? Starting to get frustrated, Koga put the hammer and tongs away for the day and headed back out to do anything else.

It was another day and time to make some new things. She wondered what she was going to get done today, hopefully something that was good. Grabbing her materials for the day, she sat down at her workshop and started to get to work. She wondered if she was going to get some of her order done today, but as she thought this, the first craft failed. The materials weren't salvageable, so she wet ahead and started on the next craft. This process lasted a little longer than the one that had just failed, and from the result of her patience, came a rare trinket. Satisfied with that, she put it to the side for it to be put into the shops inventory soon and started the final craft, only for that to fail within a few minutes of her working on it. There was nothing she could do on that, but write down the information for this rare trinket and start getting it viewed.

Alright...today was gonna be the day Koga crafted something. He could feel. Okay, not really, Koga felt pretty delirious and tired from a general lack of sleep lately, but who knew, maybe that was the secret. Koga stepped into the forge and did the usual thing. Ingot, fire, hammer, attempt a craft. This time however, instead of disappearing into nothing, the ingot glowed bright blue before morphing into a perfectly crafted katana. A grin spread across the man's face. Finally.

Time to do it all again! Koga repeated the whole process, but as he struck the ingot with the hammer once more, it exploded into a cloud of shiny blue fragments...aw...well, at least today wasn't a complete bust.

Another new day, this meant more time to craft. Grabbing her things, she started off on her first craft. All was going well, so well in fact, that within an hour, she had an uncommon trinket in her hands. This was when she noticed that she had managed to gain enough experience to go another rank. Putting the trinket to the side, she decided that she would try her hand at some jewelry now. She had a design in mind that she wanted to attempt, but she needed to perfect the ways first. So, with a new material in her hand, she set to work. All was going well, at least, until it failed, but she was able to salvage the material at least. So she set off to try again, only to fail once more. Salvaging that material again, she tried one last time for the day, only for the material to turn to fragments. That was that, but at least she had something to show for the day.

And here Koga was, yet another day in the shop. With yesterday's perfect craft, Koga was excited to start again and see if he could pull it off once more. With a newfound confidence, Koga worked the metal, occasionally humming or singing to himself as he worked. The first craft was a bust...but at least the man had managed to save the materials. Not letting himself get too discouraged yet, Koga set to work again. Heat metal. Hammer metal. Rinse and repeat. The ingot glowed brightly before becoming a well crafted one handed straight sword. Not perfect, like the katana had been, but still, a successful craft!

Yet another day, Nora visited the Ring and Sword, seems like she's been here a lot lately. But today she has something specific in her mind. She was looking for a loot die or some sort. Quickly approaching the counter and looking through the in stock list, she found something that might be able to help her, so approaches Noctua at the artisan side. "Hey Noct. Can I buy the Heaven't Tear Drop from you? Thanks XDDD"

Noct heard the door open but didn't move just yet. She was cleaning one of the trinkets when she heard Nora's voice. Turning, Noct smiled softly and nodded. "Sure, that would be 400 col or 4 materials." She waited to see what Nora wanted to pay with before she went into the case and grabbed the Heaven's Teardrop trinket. Such a simple looking trinket, but something that seemed to hold value to Nora today. Once she had it ready to go, she turned back to Nora and placed it on the counter. "Let me know if there is anything else that you want or need Koga to make." She started to hand the trinket over, wondering how much this kind of trinket was needed. Perhaps she would have to duplicate it some more on another day. That would be a grand idea. She made a mental note of that as she watched Nora leave the store, happy to have made a transaction for the store finally.

Keep up with the good work, I have send the col to your bank account and you should be able to see it soon. Thanks!" With that, Nora carefully placed the heaven's tear drop into her purse and with a wave, she left the store with a feeling that this will give her the luck that she needed!

Okay, she wanted to get this order done for Nora. She knew that it could be done, it was just a matter of actually getting the system to like her today. She had been having some pretty good luck lately, so that was some good news. So, with her materials in hand, she set about working on the trinket that she wanted to create today. It took a couple of hours, but soon enough, she held the order that @Nora wanted from her. She quickly sent the girl a message to come and pick the trinket up and gave her the price of 550 Col. Once that was sent, she knew what she wanted to work on next. So, she started her crafting once more, only for the attempt to fail. At least I got Nora's done. That was the good news for the day right? Setting upon her next thing, she managed to craft an uncommon ring, and her last crafting attempt failed, but she managed to salvage the materials. That was good, she was starting to run low.

Koga walked into the shop, for yet another day in a row. He was feeling good about today. He'd gone up a rank, so hopefully he'd make a few more crafts today. Only one way to find out. The man fired up his forge and worked the bellows, and began to set to work on the metal. His first craft was successful, but unimpressive. An Uncommon Two Handed Battle Axe. Alright, at least he made something. Next...ah a Rare Rapier, now that was more like it! One more time aaaand...oh...a salvage...Oh well, two crafts is better than one! Nora happily accepted the pearl charm from Noctua, this will become very useful for her later on. The monsters will have a much harder time landing a hit on her now. Though she mostly focused on dps, the ability to survive the fight is also critical. After all, a dead dps is a worthless dps lol "Thank you Noct! This looks great, thank you for all of your hard word these past few days, I will come back again if I need more trinkets! The col has been send to your account and you should have received it already! Say hi to Koga for me!" With that, Nora place her new trinket in her purse and went to try out her new trinket on some poor boar...again...

Yukiro walked into the quaint building. Apparently Koga was working as a blacksmith here, and it was good practice to support you friends in their pursuits. As he entered the familiar black haired boy walked out from what Yukiro assumed to be a forge. "Yo, Koga! Good to see you! Nice shop you've got here," he said, looking around, "I was actually dropping by to make a request," he announced, taking one of the request forms. "You see, I'm working on a lot of projects right now. I don't have time to make anything for myself; if I were to forgo my clients for myself, I'd be worth garbage as a smith. And so," he handed the form to Koga, "So it's only right to get you to do it. Besides, I want you to have the business."

As Koga walked out of the back of the shop, he heard the door to the shop open and close. Looking at the entrance he spotted a snow haired man he knew. "Yo, Koga! Good to see you! Nice shop you've got here," the man said.

"Hey Yuki! Thanks, I appreciate it. I gotta come out to your shop at some point too, I feel kinda bad that I haven't. Anyways, what's up, ya need anything?"

"I was actually dropping by to make a request. You see, I'm working on a lot of projects right now. Besides, I want you to have the business." Yukiro handed over his request to Koga and the man took a quick read over it as he replied, "I feel that man...well sorta, I don't think I get the kind of business you do. I should be able to do this, I'll send you a message when it's ready."
