She hadn't realized that she had gone through all of her materials until this morning really. Six left wasn't a good thing to try and craft on after all. So, she had walked around town for a bit and heard about a garden that was a treasure trove of materials. That was where she was headed now. She was told that she didn't need to worry too much about monsters, but she was still overly prepared for that anyways. She didn't want to take chance. Koga? No, she opted not to drag him along for this. She was unsure of everything that has happened lately anyways, so why try to make it even more complicated in her mind? Silently, she moved through the wilds making her way to the Gardens that seemed to hold nature's treasure. That was just something that she was looking forward to, silent thought processes while mindlessly gathering. That didn't seem to hard really. But then, this was SAO, nothing was that simple. Oh wow... So deep in her thoughts, she hadn't even realized that she reached her destination. She stopped walking abruptly and looked around. Her hand was on Faithful Night's hilt, and she nodded to herself before she stepped into the gardens, ready to start looting whatever she might get.

That was a good thing. They seemed to be relaxing as well, which worked in her favor. That meant that she could figure out what was going on in her mind. Of course, she probably didn't want to figure that out at the same time. Get over it Noct, just think on what is bugging you. No, don't think on it. Ugh, her mind was just so frazzled that she didn't know what she wanted to think on. So for the moment, she just walked around looking for any lone and stray materials. Materials, they were the life blood of what she did now. Sure, she could probably buy some, but that was going to cost her more than just roaming around hunting them. Besides, that also meant talking to people. Perhaps she should start there? With the entire reason on why she is just so darned shy? It might be able to get her to work her way up to the real root of walking around the gardens alone right now. Edited November 12, 2019 by Noctua

That was actually probably it. Daddy was the big man in the company who was always being moved. That meant that she was always repacking her things to move to a new city. It wasn't easy really, not being able to stay in one spot and actually make friends. Always being the new kid on campus, being made fun of for that. Only being able to make "friends" of the ones who wanted to use her basically. You know, the biggest thing that bullies liked to do. A soft sigh came from her as she continued on her search. This topic in her mind seemed to be more depressing than she thought it was actually going to be, and that was saying something. Who knew that reliving your past while being stuck in a death game was going to be depressing? Edited November 12, 2019 by Noctua

A chuckled came from the girl then with the thought. If she actually ignored people, then how was she so freaked when Lonzo was flirting with her? How did she let a level twenty-three irritate her so much? There were a lot of questions that actually dared to show that she doesn't ignore people. Only, she just learned to hold grudge perhaps? Her thoughts on that were quickly stopped though when she saw something on the ground. Well, actually, two somethings. She smiled as she walked over and picked up two pieces of materials. These were going to help her greatly in her crafting adventures to come. That was good at least. But, she had a feeling that she was still going to need more. There was no such thing as holding onto too may materials, right? Edited November 21, 2019 by Noctua

She knew that there was a chance for them to show up in the garden, but she hoped that it wasn't about to be horrible for her. So far, she only saw the one, so it seemed safe for her to actually, you know, battle it. She was alone, it was alone. She had better gear, it didn't. What could possibly go wrong? That was the golden question in these things wasn't it? It didn't seem to see her yet, so she took her opportunity to attack. Her rapier soon glowed violet as she rushed the boar and stabbed it twice, watching as it's health slowly went down. No, she still didn't have the best damage, that was the problem in this situation. But, it was hurt. The boar seemed to not like that though and it hit her square in the chest when her attacked finished. This pushed her back a few good feet, but thanks to her gear, it barely did any damage. Yeah, she was starting to like this new gear of hers. With Faithful Night's blade starting to glow purple, she closed the distance between herself and the boar, stabbing it twice in the side. It's health dropped a bit, and it even seemed to make the boar stagger. This helped for her because the moment that it started to run toward her, it was clumsy a few steps. This made it easy for Noctua to move to the left to avoid the boar, while she watched it still. She wasn't about to take chances with this boar. No, she was on her own. She didn't expect to run into anything that wanted her dead, but she had been prepared all the same. There was a true reason for that one, mainly the need to want to survive and not die. It's health was just over half, but she was certain that she was going to be able to drop that more. So, she channeled Rip Ravine once more and charged the boar. But the boar seemed to charge her at the same time. Noctua didn't have the time to disengage, so instead, the two collided, hitting each other at the same time. She managed to get two quick stabs into the boars chest before he pushed her back a few feet with another head butt. She held this a little longer, hoping to be able to do some major damage. So when she finally released the attack, charging the boar and stabbing it once in the chest and a second time in the side, she smiled at the dropped health. Has Koga been rubbing off on her? Because it was starting to feel like it. Or was she possibly growing into the roll of being able to protect herself in this hellish game? Either way, she kept thinking on it, actually forgetting that she was in a fight just then. At least, until she heard the boar running at her. She tried to charge Rip Ravine, but didn't have time to use it as she tried to dodge the boars attack. She failed though, the boar's tusk going through her leg instead. A string of profanities came from her as she turned to right herself. it didn't take a lot of health, but that still stung. It wasn't going to take long now, just a few more hits, and it would be down for the count, for a good while. She started to channel Rip Ravine once more, and right as she started to charge the boar, it seemed to look lost for a moment. That made her two quick stabs easy to make happen. Her stabs seemed to actually throw the boar more out of loop that she thought as it turned around and ran the opposite direction thinking that she was over there. If she didn't, well, then it would survive just a little bit longer. She started to channel Rip Ravine, hopefully for the last time this battle and soon enough, charged the boar that managed to put a bit of distance between the two. But it didn't matter, for with the two quick stabs from her rapier, the boar burst into fragments and she had herself some new pretty loot. Cool, materials, just what she wanted, and a trinket. That would probably fetch her a good amount with some merchants. She smiled as she sheathed Faithful Night. Was she ever going to be able to talk to them again? Was she going to be able to find them? Shoot, she didn't even know their real names, so this thinking was probably all just pointless at this point in time. She would have to know names to be able to hunt them down right, if they even wanted to be found. Wow, depressing thoughts there Noctua glad you are thinking on the bright side of things. For now, she just needed to focus on what presently happening, not what may or may not happen. As she thought this, she saw two more materials glisten at her feet and she grabbed them. Well, she did, it was to grab more materials because she needed them. But she didn't know what to do to keep herself busy. Fighting that boar did a good job for a little bit, but the creatures weren't supposed to be plenty in here. No, they were supposed to be scarce, mainly because this was to just gather the ever spawning materials and not fighting the obnoxious boars and wolves.
