Whelp, she was off on her own. She didn't know where she had lost Koga and she wasn't about to hunt him down. Nope, he seemed like he needed to be alone anyways. She shrugged that off as she made sure that her armor and good weapon were sitting ready to be equipped when she needed it. She even had her consumables that she could use for this event as well. She sighed as she looked around for a zombie or two. She knew that she needed to save the NPCs that were being chased, but those were in hordes, and well, hordes weren't going to do Noct very well at all. She was in the mood to try and hit something, not die. So just a maximum of two zombies would be nice though. She soon found two zombies going near one of the NPCs and taking the Fairy Floss from her inventory, she quickly ate it. Then, she started toward the zombies and the NPC with a silent prayer and chant of don't die going through her mind.

As she went to the zombies, she cringed as she saw what they were. Clowns. It had to be freaking clowns. She sighed and just as she unsheathed her rapier, the first Zombie hit her, and hard. She staggered back a few feet and stared at it. Well then, it wanted to play unfair. She quickly channeled Rip Ravine and managed to land two hits on the zombie. Of course, it's mitigation only allowed for one damage. What in the world were these zombies on?! As she thought that though, the second zombie left the NPCs be seeing that it's friend just got hit and two status effects on it. It charged her, and yet again, she was hit, hard. Now, she was grateful that she remembered the bring her actual armor, because soon enough, she was going to be reequipping that to do some major damage to these suckers.

Well, her health wasn't in the yellow yet, so she wasn't about to use one of the consumables. No, she was going to wait until half health or lower, just because of how much those things heal for. Too bad that won't be of any use after this event. But, she watched the first zombie as it started to move toward her to hit her again. But the moment that her blight and burn went off, it startled the zombie causing it to fall at her feet. She took that moment to actually hit the zombie, using rip ravine once more. She dealt minimal damage again, and figured that she might as well just save her energy from now on. She managed to see the second zombie coming for her thought and she side stepped right out of it's way, letting it run into one of the obstacles around them. She chuckled lightly as she focused back on the fight at hand.

The first zombie was back on it's feet and very unhappy. Don't worry friend, you're a clown, Noct is very unhappy as well. She hated clowns with a passion, and she hated zombies. Now, right in front of her, were two zombie clowns. What kind of sick game was this game playing with her? Focus Noct, the Zombie is moving. She snapped back to the reality that she was currently in, only to be able to barely manage to move around the zombie. Moments later, it was gone in a cloud of blue as she went to hit it with her rapier. Oh right, the blight and burn finished their countdown, and well, he was a dead zombie. Wait, could zombies die? Weren't they already dead?

As she thought this, the second zombie came charging back at her, only to flop a failed attack just a few feet away from her. Ha, sucks to be you mister clown zombie.

Her sights were set on the remaining zombie and she went to hit it with a basic attack. She doubted that it was going to do any damage, which it didn't, but she did watch as blight and burn were applied to it. Well, that was interesting. The zombie's movement back to her though caught her attention. For some reason it seemed to be abnormally slow, so she was able to easily move to the side while chuckling at it lightly. This seemed to be easier than she originally thought. That was an interesting thing, and well, she wondered how long this was going to stay in her favor. She watched the zombie as it started to turn and she wondered if this is how everyone's adventures with the zombies was going. But at the same time, did she really want to know? Her own adventure was looking like a giant mess at the moment. Well, even if one zombie was dead, this was still a mess, they were zombie clowns....

She waited a moment before she used her basic attack on the zombie, or at least, tried to. The zombie seemed to have picked up it's speed once more and was able to move out of her attack, making her run right past it instead. She grumbled something under her breath as she turned around to see the zombie running at her in turn. Only he was easily able to be read, and she moved a few steps back once the zombies momentum faded. That was the moment that her status effects hit the zombie once more, causing it to drop to one health point. Well, wasn't that just peachy? She sighed as she shook her head. This would be the one time she can't just kill the thing and call it quits huh. Nope, instead, she had to continue this game of dodging and attacking, as if it seemed to really matter much. "Just die will you. Clowns suck. Zombies suck. All in all, you majorly suck."

Okay, one more hit and the zombie should die. That seemed to be simple enough. She looked at the zombie and took in a deep breath before she charged it, ready to use her basic attack once more. But even though the attack landed, and showed doing damage, the zombie was still alive. What in the world was this magic? This wasn't fair at all! She just stared dumbfounded at the zombie, and it seemed to be just as dumbfounded when this happened. It tried to hit her in return, but looked slightly confused making it easy for Noctua to move to the side and out of it's way. Okay, so, sometimes a zombie can't be killed at all. She didn't understand this, she didn't like this, but it is what it is. It just means that she would have to try that much harder to get this zombie to die.

Okay, she was going to kill it this time. She had to. She knew she was going to. She couldn't sit here in an endless game of missing with this darned thing. She was even thinking of unequipping her trinket and putting it in her battle ready inventory. She knew that goals that she was here for, and well, this wasn't exactly going the way that she planned it. She would wait and see. She looked at the zombie as it was starting to turn toward her and she charged it, striking it once in the sternum with a basic attack. That was when it went poof and she smiled. "Good." One less zombie, one less clown. Wait a second, what was that sound behind her? She turned and looked to see two more zombies chasing after someone and off she went, to be the savior.

Wait, were those...yes they were zombie clowns too. Whelp, this event was just out to get her wasn't it. She sighed as she charged right for the first zombie, only to miss, drastically. The NPC had dashed right in front of her, causing Noct to come to a skidding halt. The first zombie saw this and decided to retaliate by clawing her arm then. She grimaced and watched her health go to half. Yup, now it was time to drink something. She sighed looked over to the second zombie to see it fumbling it's way over. She moved to the side and out of the way of both of the zombies, hoping that she was going to be able to restore her health at least. She watched them though, waiting to see what their next move was going to be. Two against one, these were going to be the odds forever weren't they?

Right half health, yellow health bar, no fun. Nope not at all. Grabbing one of the Spider Ciders from her inventory, she quickly downed it. The moment that the cider was gone, the bottle burst into fragments and she watched as her health went back to full. Okay, this was good. This meant that she was able to continue on with the fight. Cool. She looked to see the first zombie coming for another attack and, after clearing her mind of the fear, she side stepped it easily. For some reason, this time it was fumbling. That was odd for sure. She looked to see that the second zombie was already coming for her as well and she managed to move out of the way of that one too. Cool, did these ciders help with more than just health? She looked at the information and groaned. Nope, just health. She just got extremely lucky right then. Figures.

So, the zombies didn't seem to like her refilling her health. Oh well, sucks to be them. So, while they seemed to be angrily talking to one another, she used her basic attack on the first zombie. She watched as just a sliver of health dropped from it and she cursed at whatever god might be listening at this point. These zombies were annoying as heck. She tried to back off of the zombie though, but failed at that for it hit her, and hard. Right in the stomach. Of course. She cringed at the slight pain, funny how one could feel pain in a video game huh. She looked to see the second zombie coming for her though and she moved just slightly, managing to miss it's attack. Good, only one zombie doing critical damage at a time. This was going to be a slow event for her wasn't it?

Okay zombies, can you hit her now? She was actually starting to get bored. She thinks this as she goes to use her basic attack on the first zombie again, only for it to miss. Yeah, this was starting to get boring and seemed to be mighty familiar. At least they aren't critical failures. Though, would that be better? The thought crossed her mind, making her miss the attack from the first zombie, another chunk of health gone. She glared at the zombie then. "You, sir, are going to die, I'll make sure of it." She was starting to get more mad at these zombies than she probably should be. Oops. This anger that was focused on the first zombie made her miss the attack from the second. At least, until she felt it. She looked at the zombie biting her arm and she pushed it off. "Hey!" Now this was starting to feel like a horror movie. She wasn't about to turn into a zombie was she?

Okay, health was needed again. She grabbed another Spider Cider and downed it quickly, noticing that she still had thirteen left. That was good at least. Perhaps, after she heals once more, she might just equip her stuff and attempt to kill these things for real. That would be fun wouldn't it. She smirked at the thought then. The smirk was soon gone though as she noticed the first zombie coming at her. She tried to move, but couldn't in time. Well, good thing she just healed herself right? Just as she thought this, she was hitting the ground as the second zombie tackled her and bit her arm once more. What in the... okay this might get bad soon. She was already down half the health that she just restored. What in the world was going on here? Either way, she shoved the zombie off of her and quickly rose back to her feet, holding her rapier ready to attack.

Okay, what was a person to do when they just wanted to leave the fight and the event? Continue fighting. She had a goal and she was going to get that said goal. Besides, she's already killed two zombies, who says she can't kill another one, or two? She was mentally pumping herself up, only to see the first zombie coming toward her. She had her basic attack ready to use, and would have used it, if it weren't for the fact that she had to move out of the way of the zombie. That could have gone bad for her if she hadn't. But her attacked missed and instead hit the nearest tree. Oh well, it happens. She couldn't see the second zombie though, at least, until it hit her from behind. There went another chunk of health. Right, use a potion, equip her armor, use another consumable, then kill these things. That was the running base of operations in her mind now.

Okay, another spider cider down. She watched as the container turned to fragments and she looked at the zombies. That was two achievements down for this event, just one more and she will have the goal that she wanted. But now, now she kind of wanted to murder these zombies, just because they are clowns, zombies, and have been biting her. Ugh just that thought made her shake her head to be rid of the thought, at least, until she was being bit once more. This time on her leg. "Seriously, what is with y'all and the darned biting!" She ripped her leg from the zombies grasp just fast enough to narrowly miss the second zombies attack. Okay, that right there, that was pure luck. She didn't know how she had done it, but she did it. She started to think on how she would be able to keep this luck on her side. But knowing her, that wasn't going to happen, since when was she truly lucky?

Right, the zombies were taking their time on figuring out what they wanted to do, so Noct took that moment to equip her perfect light armor. She watched as her mitigation rose, thank god, and she gained one regeneration. Good, good, this was going to make things even now. They want to have mitigation, she will have mitigation. Only, she had another trick up her sleeve that she was going to do, but she couldn't do it just yet. The first zombie was now running at her and she quickly moved to the side. Nope, no more biting from you mister zombie. Noctua would love to not turn into one thank you. It was the second zombie that tried to sneak up on her, but it hit something alerting her and she moved just in time then too. Well, zombies, let's play a game shall we. She was in the mood for a game, possibly it was because her luck had been going so well earlier.

Right, time for one last item to be used. She grabbed the popcorn from her inventory, funny how they were selling that here. Eating it as quick as she could, she watched as her mitigation rose once more, only now instead of it being eighteen, it was thirty-eight. Yes, this was going to make things easier on her. Now she just needed to be sure that she could hit these things with a few critical hits, then life will be simple once more. Oh wait, that zombie is moving. She watched it coming at her and moved long before it was to actually hit her. She looked at the second zombie, but it was already to close to her for her to be able to move. It didn't bite her this time, thank god, but it did shove her into something and she watched as only a sliver of her own health disappeared. Ah, how it felt great to see the tables turned.

"My turn." She looked at the first zombie and charged it, her basic attack slashing into the zombie's arm quickly. Of course, it only did a sliver of damage, but a sliver was still that much less health that it had moments before. Her attack didn't seem to do much about stopping the zombie from attacking her though. She watched it and tried to move, only for her arm to be grabbed and scratched. Seriously, if she turns into a zombie, she was going to kill someone, preferably the person who created this darned event. Still, she looked for the other zombie, only to see it flop down at her feet, it's attack missing her horribly. She shook her head and took a few steps back before she started to decide what her next course of action should be. She could always just try to run away and leave this mess behind. Go drink the cider in some safety. That sounded like a grand plan.

Yeah, she was done with this zombie stuff. She was going to have nightmares for days after this. She could already feel this. She looked at the two zombies and she sheathed her rapier and she looked at them both. "Yeah, y'all have fun, I'm out of here." At least, she hoped she would be. But as she turned to run, the first zombie started for her. Damn, there went her escape. She managed to move out of the way of the zombie's attack, but that meant that she wasn't able to run away. Drat. Oh well, she could always try again right? She looked at the second zombie and moved out of it's way, allowing it to run right into it's buddy. That made her laugh, it was comical at least. But she was still stuck here. Stuck watching as the two zombies tried to figure out what the heck they were supposed to be doing. Of course, they were supposed to being unstuck, but still, funny stuff right there.

The zombies were still trying to right themselves from their collision and she chuckled as she ran away from them and back to the tent. This was easier done this time and the zombies didn't seem to figure out where she went. How did she know? She stopped after a bit and looked for the zombies, just to be sure that she wasn't about to be tracked back to the tent. That wasn't going to be good for them if she did. She watched the zombies for a few minutes, and soon enough they were off to find someone else to go and harass. She sighed as she turned and looked around. Where was she going to go? She wanted to drink some cider and try to forget about the zombie clowns. Ugh, seriously, whoever thought of making some of the zombies clowns, really needed to be smacked upside the head. That was unfair on so many levels. She already knew that she was going to be reliving this for weeks. That was the depressing part.
